When we arrived, the parking lot was disgusting, there were people hanging out next to their cars smoking like chimneys and I am sure I witnessed a drug deal happen. DO NOT BOOK at this location. The staff were rude when I expressed my concerns and told me that they could not cancel my reservation because I did not "take pictures of the questionable activities" going on and I did not list the 2 children I had with me (10 & 13) but I did list the 3 adults I had.

Small rooms but fairly clean. Nice size shower. Pool is small but good temp. Mixed feelings about staff. One Lady that checked me in was awesome but then another wanted to stay on her cell phone instead of assisting me. Seems to be family or friends of staff that linger around front desk and right outside front door smoking and cussing and just in the way. Not sure I would want to stay here again.

The front desk was really nice, they even had a cork screw when I needed it the most lol. They held my bag behind the desk for me after I checked out until I got off work which was a godsend, totally saved my day. The room was really clean. I really enjoyed my stay, thanks guys.

Excellent service and very nice rooms. The bed was Lucius and extremely comfortable. Maid service staff went above and beyond in service but also absolutely wonderful kindness that is rare to find. I was truly impressed by them.

The service was decent, the noisy folks next door were not so decent. I can't blame the hotel for this noise, but I can blame them for making me wait an hour in the empty lobby at the front desk before my son and I could check out. It was a nice room, great service just lacked the front office presence at the time I needed. I am sure there was something more pressing going on that needed his/her attention but either way. Good prices, good rooms, just beware, the walls are very thin lol. Thank you for the courtesy and keeping your hotel clean for us. (the pool was fantastic for my son as well! )

So I don't know where to start, so I'll start from the beginning. Tonya, the front desk clerk (or whatever she would like to call herself) is having a personal phone call while we stand there and wait for her to end her call so we can check in. After she finally gets off the phone, she is handed my father's ID and she is so spaced out she continues to ask for an ID and credit card. We then get to our rooms where the chair is broken and has sharp edges where the back bar used to be, the shower has no bumper on the bottom of the door so the water pours out and leaves the floor soaking wet, not to mention the door jam is completed water logged and breaking off in chunks. We go down for coffee in the morning at 845 (breakfast is supposed to be from 630-930) and there is no coffee available. I went to ask (you guessed it, Tonya) for coffee, but again she is having a personal conversation with a friend or something and when we ask about coffee we are brushed off. So no coffee for us. The night we stayed people were early smoking weed and the entire hallway stunk! Overall it wasn't horrible but by no means was it great or even enjoyable. Y'all may want to think about hiring someone that actually cares about their job and providing customer service!

Nice room, very clean. Hotel is smoke free so the rooms didn't stink of smoke. Decent breakfast, had indoor pool.

No hot water in the showers. Extremely rude front desk employees. Except for the women who worked Friday she was extremely nice. Told hotel no hot water and they wanted to fight with me about it even after one of their own employees verified it. Saturday afternoon front desk employee must have a horrible life to be so miserable at work. You work in the hospitality industry if you don't want to be nice to your guest go work in a jail.

I love the environment. The rooms are so nice and clean. The workers are a delight and it is very affordable as well.

Nice, clean, need bigger rooms and tubs. Friendly staff. Pool was not supervised. Kids under 10 swimming alone with no-one watching.

Not really a 4 star hotel but great for what I needed. A clean comfortable place to stay. I had an accessible room and I deducted one star because altho there were lots of handles in the tub, there were none where I needed one to step over and down another 6 inches out of the tub. The tub was new and slick. A disabled person could get in trouble trying to step out of that. The room was clean, quite, comfortable, and the parking lot was well lit. Will stay here again.

The room was clean and very nice as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable as well. The room was a little cramped though. And in the morning the toilet wouldn't flush or attempt to even though it had been working the night before and even a hour beforehand. Maybe because of everyone getting up and using the bathroom or showering in the hotel, I'm not sure. Overall the room was good and I'd stay there again if the need rises.

Overall the experience was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and well kept. The room was nice but the sink faucet leaked and wasn't long enough to wash your hands comfortably and the bathroom door would not close fully. The indoor pool was great and felt heated.

Beds are clean and comfortable. Water pressure left something to be desired. Very close proximity to Waffle House and Breakfast Time if the continental breakfast doesn't fit your needs. Other restaurants and Walmart also less than a mile.

I stayed at this hotel for over a month with my niece and nephew while my brother was hospitalized nearby. The circumstances of our stay were horrible, but the stay was WONDERFUL. I am amazed by the level of caring and service there was here. Tanya and Monica in particular, desk hostesses, were caring and accommodating. Every time we needed anything, they helped us out. The room was comfortable and VERY VERY clean. The housekeeping service was excellent and made our little home-away-from-home a pleasure and relief to come back to each night. It was a very safe and secure place. I don't think we could have gotten through this without the people at this hotel. I don't think any other hotel would have been so perfect for our needs. The included breakfast was good — hard boiled eggs, sausage McBiscuits, yogurt, fresh waffles, cereals, pastries, toast, juices, milk, and plenty of coffee all day long. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked, with local news on the TV and ample seating. When I return to visit my brother, this will certainly be where I stay. I am a frequent traveler, and have rarely encountered such amazing hosts. I am saddened to read any negative reviews from people who only stayed here one night. THEY HAVE NO IDEA how wonderful this place is. Please discount their reviews and pay attention: Sleep Inn at Concord-Kannapolis is the BEST.

Love staying here. The staff is fantastic. The indoor pool is very relaxing. Definitely recommend if you're in the Concord or Kannapolis NC area!

Room was nice everything was clean. There was some residual coffee left in the coffee maker so I just got some coffee down stairs. There was a continetal breakfast with a pretty limited selection. Check in was quick. Trying to check out I had to hang around the desk for a while before someone came by.

Very nice room, very nice staff, pet friendly which is always a plus, had a very pleasant experience here would recommend this place to anyone.

Great staff great pool, the local hookers are kind of rough and they hang out at the gas station next door.

Horrible! Room smells disgusting and does not come across as clean smells like urine, vomit, and cigarette smoke. Was advertised as pet friendly I guess it is if you want to be held prisoner in the room with your dog at all times. Crate or no crate it does not matter you are not allowed to leave your pet in the room alone. I would say very pet unfriendly. Horrible service as well, check in took about 20 minutes due to the front desk lady being on the phone for 15 minutes.

I really enjoyed staying here. One of the few places to stay in the area that isn't littered with bad people. Rooms are nice but they could use an upgrading to the carpet. Pet friendly and staff are all about their customers.

Always a wonderful experience at this location. Staff is super accommodating. I usually ask for early check in so I can get some sleep before an evening meeting and they have always been able to meet my needs with an early check in. The staff is amazing and I have never had an issue at this location. Outstanding service every time.

Hotel staff member, Tania (sp? ) has to be the sweetest, most hard working person I have ever run into at a hotel. VERY accomadating, polite, friendly and all around a nice person. Hotel is very decent for being an older hotel, no major issues. Would just have a landscape crew clean up the outside since people don't have any respect for things…

Very accommodating arrived at 9am from Michigan and was able to get a room right way which was very convenient. Room was nice came with microwave and mini fridge. Would stay again.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A GROUP/ SOFTBALL TEAM… We just left from this hotel after two nights of bad service and unreasonable accommodations. We stayed for a softball tournament in Charlotte. The big issue that we had is that this company made an unauthorized charge on my card after I checked out because of the 3 softball teams that were there, a group of parents left trash and bottles on the back patio. Our team had clean up our area before we left, as some drunk parents continued to party. There were no damages to any part of the hotel, but they decided to charge my credit card for an extra cleaning fee. We we asked for a number to the district manager that supposedly said to charge us, the ignorant front desk clerk, Monica, would not give us the information. She then called the police on us for trespassing. After the police arrived, Monica then made it possible for us to be refunded. We let it slide that multiple people on our team had to change rooms because of broken air conditioners on day one, and I let it slide that my husband is in a wheelchair and our room was not accessible as we request and on the 3rd floor… but they wanted to try to make money off of us for trash that we bagged up? I will never stay here again, and I advice anyone to pay the extra $20-$40 to stay anywhere else in the same area.

Fine, clean mid range budget hotel. Nothing fancy here, a comfortable bed and well maintained facility showing signs of wear and tear.

It was a nice hotel but they charged me $99 for a room they advertised for $82. My fault for signing but pay attention so they don't overcharge you like they did me.

Room was clean and comfortable; service was friendly and professional; room air conditioner effectively cooled the room but produced a small zone right in front of the TV where if you stand there you'll be blasted with a wall of cold air.

Staff is not that helpful, rooms are set up nice. Customer service goes a long way. They did allow early check-in.

Great place to stay, located near the city, gas station and food within walking distance. Sam's Club and walmart a block away. Very clean and a nice pool.

Bed bugs… I would not stay there again! Was itching and scratching for a week.

They humiliated a disabled woman about her inability to control her bladder. They refused to clean our rooms and gave us the cleaning supplies. They pushed us to leave early even though we payed. Very unfriendly.

We made reservations, they took my card number & promised me it would not be used! When we got there we paid cash for the weekend, during my stay I found out my card was ran. This after we had already paid in full, I told them about it & I got 10 different excuses of what happened. Now I'm home my card is in the negative and still do not have my money!

Rooms were clean. Location is a bit out of the way but it's right off of I-85. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Very accomodating with our truck and car trailer. It was a tight squeeze, but we got it. Very new fresh updates look great. Friendly staff. Best bang for your buck, by far! It was noisy as we were trying to sleep. Walls dont have much insulation as you can hear every word from neighbors and people in the halls, but you get that at any hotel. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

I had an out-of-town work crew staying at hotel. Room fridge had mold. One worker had to be moved 3 times because the air conditioning didn't work in 3 different rooms. Asked for extra pillow, none available.
