Always clean rooms and quite and the staff is excellent.

The place is old. The furniture is beat up and destroyed. The bathroom is disgusting. The tub has a giant bandaid on it. You step in and feel like it could fall apart. The seal on the shower handle is barely there and it moves. The seal on the toilet was disgusting. The sink only has cold water. In the bedroom itself the carpet is coming up in multiple places. They put three pillows on the bed but they are half pillows like couch throw pillows.
Breakfast was barely anything. Bagels and make your own waffle. The fridge they have in that area has two sets of eggs in a bag and maybe two or three microwave biscuits. Housekeeping is loud. They don’t care if you have a sleeping baby or are trying to sleep yourself. They are in the hallway most of the morning practically yelling to each other. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever seen.

The the staff were fantastic and their continental breakfast in the rooms are fantastic and the price.

Large room with carpeted floors, but very small bathroom: I was standing outside the bathroom when I took the attached photo. Very comfortable bed. Right off of I-40 with several restaurants within walking distance. Some loitering but nothing sinister or threatening. Considering Greensboro is not the nicest city in NC, this is a good place to stay if you can get a good rate.

Very clean and nice hotel. Easy access and several close places to eat. Road noise is easily heard so get a room on back side.

The rooms are adequate and clean but worn and a little dated. Odd smell in the hallway and even more odd in the stairwell (left-handed cigarettes). Noisy night with guest above our room stomping and shuffling all night long. Close to Carrabba's and other eateries on Gate City Blvd. Staff is nice and professional.

BLUF: There are better alternatives close by if you are driving through Greensboro. This hotel is dated and desperately cries for maintenance. The rooms are admittedly generous for the price but the breakfast is extremely limited.

An older hotel with very limited parking. The rooms are outdated and entry door was not working so the struggle was real walking up all those stairs and walking down the long hallways to get to the room. Plus my bathroom was half cleaned! I don't do nasty so this is my last stay here!

Another great stay. Front desk staff Robin is amazing as always. Very polite, with that Southern Charm. Food was good with a selection groceries to choose from. Outside of that, breakfast was crowded dued to the basketball convention over the weekend. It is what it is.

BED BUGS in room 123! I went to another hotel after discovering them and I found out they had rented it out to someone the next day! The front desk acted like they don’t know what to do in this situation and handled it all wrong. We had to convince the front desk to help us find other accommodations. Our dirty room came equipped with an air freshener to combat the mildew smell and our fridge looked like someone kicked it a bunch of times. The constant hum of the busted fridge and the noise of other guests combined with bed bugs made this one of the worst hotel experiences of my life!

The front desk was nice and courteous. Room was clean and smell good. And the price was reasonable on the room. We'll go back.

Convenient hotel. Room was clean, shower was hot, inside entries so it was quiet, courtesy breakfast had a great variety, people were nice, plenty of parking, Wi-Fi was just OK. Would stay there again!

Close to UNCG and Greensboro Coliseum. Its listed as a 2 star hotel, which is accurate. You get exactly what you'd expect an old clean room to shower and sleep.

Older hotel. In a decent area, right at the city center across from the convention center. Needs quite a few updates. The door frame looked like it was coming apart from the wall. The decorative throw on the bed was stained and yucky. Bathroom was small but manageable. The staff was friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast offering. Overall, the price is fair for what you get. Don't expect any frills and you won't be dissapointed.

Don’t be deceived by the 3.5 star rating. The service was awful and the environment was sketchy to say the least. Upon checking in, the couple in front of me was complaining their room was open when they first got to it and it looked like someone had been in it. I checked in and the entire second floor REEKED of Marijuana. There were beer cases emptied on the hallway floor, the rooms were sub par. The worst part was after the strong marijuana smoke caused me to leave early, they wouldn’t reimburse me, and management denied that there was any smell, when it was very obviously there. Even the front desk worker Dawn said she knew who was smoking marijuana when I complained about it. This place is pathetic, awful management, and poorly kept. Spend your money elsewhere! Seriously.

Very clean place to be so inexpensive. My nonsmoking room smelled very nice. It was in a safe location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast bar was above average. The cable was lackluster, and but the TV was nice. The refrigerator was on the larger side, and very cold. The Wi-Fi was very slow, but at least it was stable.

Quick easy location to the interstate, and the mall. Clean rooms, with comfy beds. Wonderful staff. Good breakfast. Downside was a random leak from our bathroom door trim. Yes. The door trim. Nothing else was wet so it was kinda crazy an weird. Didn't impact our stay though.

The hotel is nice and very clean the rooms are clean and the bathroom is small but it's nice and the breakfast is good. The staff is nice.

Worst place ever. Would be lucky if I got more than an hour of sleep. Beds a horrible. Pillows horrible, noise worst, front desk doesn't answer and the only reason it gets one star is the water pressure is awesome.

Peaceful nights rest… breakfast was great, ice vending was full enough to fill my small cooler. Friendly customer service.

The location is good. The hotel is very old and dated you can find better for the same price in the area.

This hotel was great especially for the price. I travel a lot for work so it's nice to get a cheap hotel that's clean and comfortable. Had a good TV with a fridge and microwave and soft beds. Would definitely return again if in the area.

Was not pleased hotel reeked of weed and the long sloping hallways are disturbing.

Great place for an economical visit where you're not really planning on staying at the motel besides to sleep.

The room had the necessities, but the quality of my stay was subpar. I arrived late at night to find several people outside the surrounding hotels having verbal altercations, including one fellow who shouted at me from his car as he drove past. This made it all the more disturbing when I found that one of the exterior doors which was supposed to be keycard controlled wouldn't even latch on its own. The construction of the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired. The bathroom was very tiny. This coupled with the fact that the shower curtain rod was drooping so that the curtain wouldn't stay closed ensured that almost everything got wet while showering. The walls are very thin. I was treated to a wake up call in the form of my upstairs neighbors bed squeaking. I understand some noise inevitable, but I don't want to be able to time my neighbors lovemaking. I wasn't a big fan of the pet policy either. It started that the pet will never be left alone in the room, and I don't think that's a reasonable request. Greensboro just isn't set up to allow someone to take their dog every place they go. I also don't understand the extra charge for bringing a pet. If my dog damaged something, charge me for it. That's why you require a credit card. Otherwise I'm simply not staying long enough to require any extra cleaning besides what you should already be doing. Ask in all, the hotel served its purpose, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Stayed for four nights while attending the SETC conference, not a bad hotel! Rooms are clean, shower works, good service.

Front desk attendant Galvin had horrible customer service skills. Bathroom was leaking water out the comode. I called and complained. His attitude was poor from the start. Will never stay at this location again.

I only picked up a coworker there, but it seemed like a fairly nice and reasonably priced hotel.

Great hotel and great location. The front desk agent Chy was amazing she was very accommodating and professional as well as the maintenance man. Lobby and rooms were very well up kept.

Well there was hair in the waffles at the continental Breakfast first hair thought maybe was my own but the second one I was disgusted. The first night when we came back to the room the hallway smelled like pot and the pool was filled with bugs and kids were in the pool screaming and unattended. We had the do not disturb sign on the door and the cleaning person came in any way. Not pleased at all could not find another hotel due to the golf tournament and kids going back to college.

Last weekend I stayed at the Baymont Inn and Suites in Greensboro, NC. My stay was absolutely wonderful. Every member of the hospitalityteam that I encountered was extremely professional, kind, courteous, and simply nice. Mr. DeMise, (Manager) was so informative, helpful and accommodating. Amber very pleasant disposition also extremely helpful. Mr. DeMise assisted me with such grace in straightening out a matter that could have easily become a disaster. I will take your advise next time Sir. Corey, the Night Auditor was the my first contact with the Baymont. I was a little hesitant because this was my first experience with the Baymont, but he was very assuring that my stay would be great. He was right! Gavin and Chyemen, also very kind and professional. I will highly recommend the Baymont to my friends and family. It is clean, conveniently located, and the "Breakfast Corner" is very nice.

This place is really amazing.

I always stay here with my family due to my nieces who attend college in the area. The staff are very nice and accommodating. I never had a bad experience with this place and I always feel welcome when I come.

I made reservations at this hotel after reading the reviews and was very surprised that no one thought to mention there is no elevator in this two story hotel! We were not even told when we checked in! After driving down to the entrance we were directed to we discovered no elevator, so we walked back to the front looking for the elevator then we were told there is no elevator and of course the first floor was sold out! This was very irritating because we are vendors which require us to carry a lot back and forth. There were other issues, the bathroom sink had a crack in it, and the shower curtain would not stay shut, which caused the floor to get wet. Both lights next to the bed did not work. I will say that the hotel was clean. I would not stay at this hotel again, even if we had a first floor because of the squeaky floors.

Decent hotel for the price. The free breakfast was good and the Wifi was fast. The floor above my room squeaked when the guest walked. The stay was good over all.

My first time staying @ an inn. An all girls, family weekend. Quiet enough. Unruly kids in the hallway were detained in a timely manner. Animals were also made quiet before having to call the front desk. Hotel brings back memories of my home town upbring:) and made me thankful for where we begun. Nice environment, do not despise small beginnings. The inn, keeps and remind me to be humble.

Have been back now 2x and not disappointed. Very nice place. Super friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good price. Clean and comfortable. Long hallways but definitely worth the price. New management has made a difference.

Catastrophy! internet — slooooow breakfast — veery poor. There was hardly anything to eat! rooms — windows do not open up! no elevator all in all — a low class hotel for a high price. I do not recommend it!
