Upon arrival today there were only 6 people (3 workers and 3 customers) in the office. The letter on the door stated no more than 10 in the office at a time. I walked in to check in and was immediately told to stand outside because there was too many people in the office. It is 37 degrees outside and I had to stand out in the freezing temps until one customer left. When I was able to go in I addressed the letter on the door and the manager immediately said it was to her discretion as to how many people were in the office. I have asthma and unable to wear a mask so she told me since I couldn’t put a mask on I had to stay behind the plastic. Her tone was like I had a disease and she didn’t want to deal with me. She told me if I didn’t like the rules I could go somewhere else. I had already paid in full, drove 3 hours to get here so I just sucked it up and said I’m staying but did inform her that I didn’t appreciate being treated like I have a disease. She said it was for her safety and I could get out if I didn’t like it. Now keep in mind that she’s worried about germs and all but they never sanitized any of the pens we were all using nor did they clean the desk after each customer. She was bullying me simply because I didn’t have a mask. She informed me I wouldn’t be allowed back in the office or would I be allowed to eat breakfast without a mask and that they do not honor the medical conditions. This is ridiculous and I will assure we will nor be staying here again. If I could leave zero stars I would. I have never been treated like that at any other hotel I have stayed at and I stay in one at least once a month.
