Very spacious and clean suites. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, grits, egg and cheese omelets, hash browns, sausage, yogurt, granola, cereal, bread and pastries. Also a social hour with light snacks and drinks.

Hotel amenities were great. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Bathroom was great overall. Staff were incredibly friendly and always said hi or made chit chat in the elevator. Complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good and constantly getting refreshed. We were in the room behind the elevators which we were initially nervous about. If you plan on being in the room all day, the sound of the elevators kicking in could get annoying but it did not bother us at all when we were sleeping.

This hotel was great! Furnished like a small apartment. Very clean ANF well furnished. On Monday and Tuesday nights they offer free light supper and beverages. Good breakfast too. I recommend this hotel.

Awesome room and staff! We really enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub and pool could be improved, but besides that all facilities were nice. One great perk about Homewood is it’s happy hour: free bottomless snacks, wine, and beer (including Sierra Nevada on tap! ) for 2 hours on weeknights. Close to area attractions and good restaurants. Would recommend!

This is a good hotel. I like how each night they will have a different meal for dinner with a theme to it. The rooms are nice. Pool and weight room is good to have.

Very satisfied with our one night stay here. We got a nice size room for a family of 5. When we made reservations I asked for us to be close to the lobby or a door to the outside due my grandmother traveling with us. When we got here & I realized they done what I requested I was very happy about it. Our room was at a side door which we were able to park close to & make it easy for my grandma.

I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. I locked my keys in my car and the manager of the entire hotel come out to assist me. I was adamant on not paying someone to get it out and he supported my decision by getting me a wire hanger. He motivated me during the process and didn't leave me out alone. I eventually got my door open and if it wasn't for the manager it wouldn't been possible. Friendly and genuine staff! Easily the best Hilton in the area.

Easy hotel to take a family to. The pool was clean and maintained. The food was decent, however the outdoor seating area is located next to air vents which are quite loud. The rooms were adequately cleaned, the beds comfortable, and the TVs were decently sized.

The place is relaxing upon first arrival. Unfortunately, we arrived late (close to midnight) and had to leave early the next morning. However, the front desk was quick. The suite was relaxing although a little small in comparison to other suites I've stayed in. But we definitely plan on having a week long family trip at that hotel next year.

This is the first hotel review I have ever written. I must say, I travel a lot, and this is one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. The new decor and renovations are very nice. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Nice pool area. Tasty breakfast. Didn't check-in in time to enjoy the evening social time but it sounds fun.

This is one of the nicest Hilton properties we've stayed at, ever. First rate in all departments — except that the Homewood Suites doesn't have a restaurant on premises, so the breakfast is like the ones at Hampton Inns — not bad, but no fresh-cooked omelets. Free breakfast AND free light meal at dinner. Super staff, clean, newly renovated, full kitchen (! ), spacious room. Very convenient to downtown Asheville.

This hotel is awesome! Freshly renovated with a beautiful lobby and even more beautiful rooms. The perks are crazy too! Free grocery shopping! Your own kitchen area with everything you need. Great nightly reception and breakfast, nice outdoor grills, and super friendly staff. Definitely a great choice in Asheville.

For the money, this place was awesome. Nice, clean, very modern rooms. My wife and I stayed for a weekend getaway. Was very impressed. Breakfast was great.

Professional service and the suite was very good.

We like the hotel, it was super nice and the price was right. We had the one bedroom, which was nice to give our teen his 'own' space. Hotel is about mile from downtown, which is not ideal, but Uber was plentiful. I didn't interact with the staff very much, but check in with pleasant and with out issues. We would stay again for sure.

Nice hotel, great amenities. We arrived Xmas eve and were able to check in about an hour early, which was nice after a long drive. Room was clean and was clearly newly renovated. Everyone at the desk was friendly and helpful. They provided us with a shuttle into downtown for dinner and picked us up. This was very nice since parking in downtown is hard to find and expensive. (25 cents for 10 min! ). Nice big breakfast spread with lots of choices. Would be nice if they could keep the food a little warmer. Had cold eggs, hash browns and sausage more than once. Evening meals were ambitious, but again fell short. Noodles were hard and cold, but you get what you pay for and it was free. Invest in some warming dishes and you would get another star. :-).

Were not able to check in early after calling multiple times. Lady who answered phone didn't seem to have any customer service skills. After we were finally able to go into our room we immediately smelled something extremely disgusting. The smell was so horrendous that I asked the maid who was cleaning down the hall for some odor spray. She was very nice and sprayed my room but it wasn't enough so I sprayed every single inch of the room and it still smelled bad. Cleaning lady notified management and they did nothing. I will say the beds were comfortable and room was nice overall but it would have been better if I didn't want to barf from the smell of whoever wrecked the room before us. I expect a better room when I pay more for a suite!

Very clean & comfortable. The pool was actually heated — (""most that advertise heated aren't really) … The hot tub was actually HOT — ("see previous response about pool"). Breakfast was decent. I personally like to wake my own waffle and that's not an option here. All other breakfast was on point. Close to Bilmore House. Definitely recommend!

Very nice lobby. Rooms were spacious in my suite. There were a few areas that needed some additional cleaning. Walls very thin. You could hear toilets flush, water running. But overall it was a great stay.

Extremely close to downtown (2 minute drive maybe? ). Nice, modern and cozy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room seemed new or recently overhauled and it was immaculate. Full kitchen with all necessary cookware. Wife and I stayed with our 3 children (all under the age of 5) and had all we needed. No other kids there but regardless, we'll be back!

I was in town for a funeral and requested an early check-in at 11. I arrived at 9:45. My room was not ready and the desk clerk suggested my family enjoy breakfast while they prepared it. During breakfast we were told the room we booked was still not available. We were upgraded to an available suite at no additional costs. The breakfast was much better than your typical hotel breakfast. The light dinner and drinks were wonderful. The hotel is clean and decorated beautifully for Christmas.

I had a wonderful stay. Staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms were very well decorated and spacious. I have no complaints and I am very picky. Definitely recommend!

We stayed there 9/3/17 to 9/6/17. This hotel is well worth the money! The suites are extremely well appointed. High end all the way. Although it is quite cold in the hallways. The staff is so friendly. The food is very good. The lobby is very inviting and cozy! I would highly recommend this hotel! We will absolutely visit this property again.

Beautifully updated, well appointed, and very clean. Friendly, attentive staff. The free shuttle to downtown (about a 5-minute ride) is a nice perk. We'll be back!

I believe this may have been the very best hotel experience for us to date! Best staff… great attention, super friendly and accomodating. Beautiful, spotless, wonderfully decorated room for a week-long stay in Asheville (got suite with a kitchen, dining area and living area… this kitchen was nicer than our own apartment one, folks! ). Fabulous facilities (small indoor pool, hot tub/whirlpool, nice work out room… all enjoyed using). Hot breakfast, PLUS a rotating menu light supper with some wine and tap beer at 5:30 (Mon — Thurs), all included! Bonus… our room overlooked a nice mountain view on the northeast side (back of building). Great location, easy to get to everywhere, and easy to get back to. Just all around great! Thank you Staff! Well done! We'll be back.

New hotel, very comfortable. The suites have a door separating the living area from the bedroom/bathroom. The fold out bed is comfortable and the set up worked well for our teenager. Good breakfast too.

The room has 2 rooms, 2 tvs and a kitchenette and it is extremely nice. The room was very clean and has an excellent mountain view. I highly recommend this hotel to any who might consider it.

Beautifully renovated property with many amenities! Breakfasts & dinners are top of the line with outstanding staff! Fabulous fitness center with individual monitors for each piece of equipment — and free individual headsets in case you forget your ear buds. Comfortable rooms with new furnishings & appliances. Next best thing to being at home!

We had an awesome stay in the 1BR Premium King Suite! The room was big, clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. The hotel provided a pack-n-play for us, brought it up to the room and set it up. We did not hear any noise from other guest rooms. There are restaurants within walking distance. Overall, great place to stay and we would return!

They won't let you stay even after you make a resv and show up if they think you live within 50 miles of the location. Luckily I moved out of that range a few weeks ago. What type of demographic attack is that? How many potential customers are lost that way? They were hawking the pool when it was just I and my three well behaved kids in it… but when three other kids 12 and under with NO parent supervision come in and do cannonballs into the 12 x 22 or so sized pool with a max height of 5' and roughhousing with no regard for my kids including my 4 yr old and forcing us out, the front desk had no care about it when I informed them. This hotel sucks.

Rooms were clean and VERY convenient. The AC was a bit on the loud side, but I do not know if that was limited to my room or not. I basically have no complaints. Awesome place. There are breakfasts and dinners and there is a menu on the fridge that outlined the menu for the month. The suite I was in included a kitchen.

Great home, great location. 5 at 7: 00 pm there is a buffet aperitif offered of very high quality. The pool is inside but very correct. The family room is huge.

They are nice for the most part. They brought us food up to our room when I asked cause my son has cancer and we could not leave the room for a bit except to let out our pet. They made two complaints on us when one was not true. Then the other one was not as bad as what they may it sound. I asked other people. We had the door opened when we could to our room. Employees came by and they never said nothing about are room smelling like dog or really badly smelling like dog. We took her out to do what was needed for her to do when it needed to be done and she did not do it inside or anything. She was just in the room a lot because their were people staying at the hotel that were scared if the dog and I did not want people to leave cause of her. The night before we left we were threatened. Also we were told that the manger would never rent a room to us again. Also that because if us he could not rent the room out. Which he knew of the dog he okayed the dog. He did not know the full story about the dog. He did not ask me nothing he just yelled. So at the end I felt very discriminated against and threatened also u was very upset to we're I could not eat or I would get sick. Cause he did this to me and my family and he yelled at me in front of everyone their. Also made us feel like dogs. After we had already coughed up almost $3000 in to this hotel.

Very cozy, the room was exceptional comfortable. The staff was extremely polite and willing to go the extra mile to make us feel right at home.

I stay here every time I go to Asheville and it's always good. Rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The front desk staff are also helpful with recommendations of things to do and good local restaurants. Also the breakfast is good as well. I highly recommend.

While currently undergoing renovations to the lobby and other areas on the main floor, hotel staff did their best to provide a comfortable atmosphere for the duration of our stay. Enjoyed the fresh meals for breakfast and dinner (M-Th) served by the very friendly cooking staff, including Michael, Kareem, and Tracey. Webb and the rest of the cleaning staff were also very friendly, always greeting us in the hallways when we were coming and going. The front desk staff were also friendly and very accommodating of our requests. The room was clean and modern. Appreciated having the kitchenette with refrigerator, stove top, microwave and sink (no oven). Also appreciated having a set of double doors to close between the sleeping area (nap time for our child) and the sitting room with couch and kitchen area. Bathroom door closes off toilet and shower/bathtub, but the sink is open to the rest of the bedroom. They offer a pool and exercise room, as well as a business room which doubled as the eating area during renovations. Only complaint would be their mediocre free Wi-Fi, or the fact you have to pay extra for better bandwidth. Overall, highly recommend Homewood Suites!

Great rooms! Very clean. Pool area was nice. Afternoon cocktail hour and snacks were a great perk. Breakfast was not as good as afternoon snacks but still pretty good. Staff was very friendly. Convenient to all of the sites we visited.

Truly a home away from home. Friendly staff, good food, warm pool.

I enjoyed 3 nights at the Homewood Suites in Asheville NC, with my two almost grown teenagers, this past week. We had a great stay. The hotel had a GREAT wait staff. Breakfast and dinner were very inviting, friendly, and tasty. The hotel was in walking distance of the mall and the movies. We were able to walk across the street to nearby restaurants and stores. The hotel was very clean, with very comfy beds, full kitchen, a living room area and a nice view. Each room had a flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi. I will be coming back to visit this hotel.

I stayed here for a week on business and brought my tween daughter with a sitter. While I was working each day, the hotel staff happily shuttled them back and forth to the trolley stop so that they could use the trolley to tour the downtown area. Though this isn't high end luxury, it is certainly very nice and perfectly comfortable. We loved having the kitchenette and the free breakfast and supper made it quite the money saver for a group of three. I would have loved a privacy curtain between the vanity/dressing area and the bedroom. Otherwise, they had everything I wanted.

Nice place — slightly upscale. Stayed several weeks this year on business. Slow internet (typical of Hilton). Breakfast and afternoon reception — good if you're trying to save money. But lets face it the food won't compare to local culinary delights. Great staff — parking can be a bit tight. Lot barely accommodates a full hotel. On the more commercial side of tunnel rd — so you can't walk to downtown but there's shopping and chain store restaurants aplenty.

Maybe a little pricy but well worth it considering you can have breakfast and dinner if you're on a budget. Conference rooms available. Swimming pool and exercise room. Convenient access and location. Staff very personable.

This hotel really was like a "home away from home" rather than a typical hotel I was used to. Rooms were very spacious, clean and updated. Our king size bed was extremely comfortable with crisp linens We loved that we could grab a movie downstairs for free! Also, the free breakfast was surprisingly good and changed everyday. There were many choices to satisfy everyone. I was even more surprised that they offered free dinner with complementary wine and beer. The fact that they had highland beer, (a local brewery) on tap was the icing on the cake. The dinner was simple and nothing amazing, but to be included in the price; I would expect nothing more. I know where I'll be staying if I come back to Asheville! BTW — Saw that an old post mentioned old TVs. I guess they've updated since because we had 2 large flat screens in our room.
