Had an awesome day fly fishing with our guide Kevin! He was a great teacher, patient and genuinely interested in us learning the sport and having fun. Everyone we came in contact with at the store on two different days went out of their way to help us! Highly recommend!

Had a great time fly fishing for the first time! We had a full day on the Cimarron River with Kevin the guide! He was excellent! Taught us how to fly fish, patient, very informative and funny! Also helped me out of the water after slipping! 🤣 We caught some rainbow and brown trout! This was the topping to our father daughter trip to Red River! Thank you!

Great people! We have our own skis/boards so we don't rent, my daughter's boot got wet so I had to rent a pair of boots for her to use. They let us use a pair of boots for free and even dried out hers while she skied. On top of the excellent customer service they also have a killer selection of name brand gear.

We just got home from a week in Red River. We stayed at Sitzmark and had the best view in town. The owners, Mark & Steph were so welcoming and friendly. Every employee was so friendly and there to help. We rented ski equipment for 7 and they were very professional and helpful. This was our 1st snow experience and we will definitely go back and stay with Sitzmark. Wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful experience with renting our ski gear. We already reserved ski gear for 3 adults and 1 kid. Smooth and easy process. Loved supporting a local business. They really enjoyed our 2 year old and kept calling him “little shredder”. Told us we needed to get him on the slopes. We had no plans to this year, but they included his ski gear at no charge. We are SO thankful they did, he loved getting out on the slopes for the first time.

First time skiers popped in during their most busy time and everyone on staff checked on us multiple times and was friendly every time. They were super busy but still took the time to have awesome customer service especially when they could have very easily acted overwhelmed. They took the time to explain everything well and left us feeling prepared. When I say everyone had great customer service, I mean everyone on staff. They were awesome and will always have our business!

We’ve rented our ski gear from Sitzmark for years but just recently stayed in 402 and it was great! Condo was perfect! Within walking distance to everything. The owners were super cool and the girls in the shop were helpful with fishing gear for my son. Will for sure stay there again.

Only place I will ever rent my equipment from, I bri g alot of beginners and these guys always do such a great job.

Great place to shop, helpful associates and good selections. Maybe a little too helpful when trying to pick out new pair of sunglasses, lol. Do you need one pair or two?!

Sitzmark is hands down the best place to go in Red River. They have you covered on anything and everything you would need from biking, rafting, skiing, and boarding. It is ran by the most genuine, honest, and kind hearted people you will ever meet. This is our go to spot every time we are in town.

They were extremely helpful and professional. When I realized I was not going to be able to snowboard, they allowed me to switch my equipment out for skis. They were very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had.

Have rented and bought mountain/ski gear there and have had them tune my snowboard for many years. Always great service and good prices. I can't comment on the lodge.

We get our skiing stuff here every year. They are easy to work with and know their stuff. Very highly recommend!

As soon as we walked in we felt like family. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to make sure our gear was the best fit possible. All the gear was in great condition unlike some of the other places we checked out. Will definitely be back to rent our gear from them again.

I loved my stay at the Sitzmark! The location was perfect — within walking distance of the grocery store, shops, restaurants, and even the ski area. They also have on-site rentals which simplifies things. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well. Also, while I was there it snowed ten inches and the electricity went out, but the Sitzmark was one of the few places in town with a generator! I stayed in room 404, which is a single but there was still plenty of space. It was quiet and homey, and I traveled solo and felt safe the entire time. I would definitely recommend the Sitzmark to anyone traveling to Red River!

I've visited Red River several times over the past ten years or so, and I always have rented my skis from Sitzmark. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Especially when I first started skiing, I would have lots of questions about the equipment, and the staff was always willing to take time and answer my questions. I've felt that the equipment always performs well while I'm on the mountain; I've never had an issue with a loose binding or other problems. With such great customer service and great equipment selection, I would recommend Sitzmark to any and all types of skiers looking for a fun vacation in Red River.
