Our room was comfortable and pretty clean. The only issue we had was with a very sticky, dirty carpet, which we mitigated by wearing shoes or socks most of the time. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast had a nice variety of options. A great spot to spend the night!

For $200 a night plus tax, I wanted a clean room for my gf & 2 boys. I've stayed at 2 Hamptons prior to this and the breakfasts were stellar. Not so much here, fake scrambled eggs, preheated bacon, and a million people in the lobby from 6am to 9am during breakfast hours. The pool was nice and the boys liked it. It was big enough that many others could join in without their splashing bothering everyone. The lady at the front desk while checking in wasn't the friendliest, kind of snobby towards us when I asked for a first floor room. Just not what I was expecting for this kind of money. The rooms and hotel were clean but I've seen cleaner, and overall I would recommend this hotel for couples or business travelers. Not so much for a family hotel. I've made my piece, on to bigger & better things with my cold coffee from the lobby. Cheers.

One of the better hotels in the area, close to food, gas, the Thruway, and a bunch of giant oil tanks. Priced a little high IMO but its quality is on par with the Hampton Inn brand of the Hilton Family of Hotels.

This hotel will be come our yearly hotel. They are amazing. There staff are very kind super helpful and genuinely happy.

Check in/out was prompt. We requested the room at the end of the hall on the first floor because it was the only one down there. We were told by the front desk person that everyone wanted it because it was quiet. It was not quiet. There were kids in and out of the pool area screaming until at least 11pm. Also the curtains wouldn't close all the way and was a little beam of light that, at 6am, came in at the right angle to hit my face no matter where input it. Other than those minor annoyances the room was nice, and big, the staff was friendly and for as busy as they were the breakfast was kept pretty well stocked. But also get another waffle maker, one is not enough.

Staff was welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and my daughter enjoyed the pool area, which was also well kept! Breakfast was good, except for the eggs… but overall, everything on the buffet was good with plenty of options!

Hotel it self was ok. The location is next to a construction facility so the view out the window was not great. They also had a indoor pool which was nice but no hot tub. Wifi was limited on speed so watching movies you would need to upgrade to the next internet package. Room itself was ok, ours has a busted toilet.

Fantastic. Friendly and professional service. Loved the Jacuzzi room. Only thing is it's very hard to get in and out of due to the height. Loved the place, and will book another stay there if I am in the area.

Our client Ron Herron, is a touring comedian who recently stayed here after a performance nearby. He loved it! The staff was super friendly, and there was plenty of parking after 11pm. The room was perfect and quiet, and there was a free breakfast in the morning as well as a gym to use before hitting the road again the next day. Thank you for taking such great care of our friend and client Ron, we can't wait to work with you again soon!

Clean… nearby food choice variety. Pleasant staff… chosen for pool and was not disappointed.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Parking lot was not adequately cleared of snow. Front entrance was extremely wet and slippery since it is tile. The rug in the entrance was saturated with water which made for a swampy trek into the lobby. Room was very nice for an overnight stay. Overall with the weather being cold and snowy our stay was adequate. I would recommend staying at this Hampton Inn when visiting Utica.

Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, and staff was friendly. We travel with a toddler who loves to swim so it was nice to have a well kept and warm pool. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, although a star taken off for breakfast. Breakfast was provided, but it was about what you'd expect from a free hotel breakfast.

Booked a room for 5 people but got two queen beds. Room itself is OK. Temperature stable and heater/AC unit not terribly noisy. Room did not smell stale and air is not frightfully dry. Bathroom is OK. Breakfast is sufficient and FREE. Wi-fi sufficient and FREE.

A very clean home and the employees are very friendly.

Room was excellent. King size bed with whirpool in the room. Didn't care for the breakfast but got a good night's sleep. Cookies at the front desk for guests were good.

We've stayed at this hotel in the past. It was not as nice as before. It used to have a fresh cinnamon like scent and was very clean. The elevator smelled like stinky feet and the carpets and lobby were dirty and smelly. It's not the same level of cleanliness as it once was. The room was ok. The refrigerator was making a loud humming noise and needs to be replaced. Wish they'd go back to what it once was. There's not a lot of great hotels in that area.

Great staff. I booked through trivago and they charged me 3 times. The hotel staff was very helpful in getting it sorted out. I've stayed here since and they have continued great service. Clean rooms, and great staff. If you want the best and cheapest option, call the hotel. You pay for 3rd party sites.

Great experience at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond every single day to make sure our Military unit felt at home while travelling to the Utica/Rome Area. Personally they assisted me after we left early in the morning I left behind some personal belongings of significant value. Lynn made sure to keep in touch with me and when the items were recovered she had them sent out immediately. The next day I received my personal belongings. It is hard to find service like this anywhere now but this stay made me optimistic that quality and caring service still exists.

Amazing hotel with helpful, friendly staff. Nice extras like coffee/tea and cookies available for free in the lobby. Breakfast was wonderful and hotel was updated and clean with plenty of parking. Staff went out of their way to be accommodating and friendly for our large group.

Slightly above average Hampton Inn. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They had cookies and meatballs out on the night we arrived which was a nice treat. The indoor pool was clean and a good temperature for swimming. Our room was clean and in good condition. Breakfast was standard, the staff member in charge was quick to replace items as they ran out. Would stay here again.

Had the best nights sleep! Very clean, bed was fluffy and nice pillows! Nice bathroom and pool area was perfect for the kids! Breakfast was also very good. Room service would be a plus but lots of restaurants around for lunch and dinner! Definitely will stay there again!

Everything was perfect except for the fact that they couldn't afford to put too bottles of spring water in the rooms I mean put it on the bill if you need too I would like to drink clean water when I wake up not tap water.

Clean room, equipment works and is quiet. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Stay was ok. Room a/c would not stay at 65 and thermostat kept going back up to 72. Light by bed vibrated all night due to the vending machines running on the other side of wall.

The hotel is clean, staff friendly, and just off the highway. The beds are always clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is a nice touch.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The location was great! There were many food choices nearby. In the morning they had neatly packed travel breakfast to go for guests. My favorite part about my stay was the comfortable bed and the pillows. I had more pillows than I needed and had to remove a couple. My pet peeve is dirty bathrooms and thankfully they were very clean. I will absolutely stay here again.

Everything as expected for a Hampton inn. All the standard amenities, fridge & microwave in room, indoor pool, fitness cntr, free coffee 24/7, Wi-Fi, business cntr and breakfast. The entrance fr the main street was a little difficult to spot. Other than that, location was good. Next to highway, tons of restaurant and a few minutes from downtown Utica.

Clean friendly and a great continental breakfast bar. With snacks on the counter most of the day. The worse experience I had was the chemicals in the indoor pool were off. Burns your eyes.

Clean somewhat new Hampton Inn. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The only problem is the hotel is more expensive than other Hampton Inns.

Too expensive. I often stay at Hampton Inns, but the prices are getting too high. I ended up staying at a Days Inn instead, and the room was fine — and a whopping 100 dollars cheaper! Of course, the Hampton has a better breakfast, so I just went next door to Denny's for breakfast and still came out $90 ahead.

This was the best hotel I stayed at on a recent trip. I found noting but positives here. The front desk was very friendly and helpfull. The room was neat and clean. The breakfast had a great selection. They even had dvd's to borrow at the front desk! It was a great place and I would stay here again the next time I am in the area.
