We enjoyed both pools and had a delicious dinner in Bookmakers!

Food and service were excellent.

I was treated like an animal, paid in cash, was told that I never paid, went to check my card that I put on file for food and there was a charge for the 3 nights I stayed when I paid in cash upon arrival, UNTRUSTWORTHY staff, BEWARE!

Place was alright. However the hair all over the bathroom… not so great. Had hair in the shower, tub, floor, even the ceiling. Staff was very nice and helpful. The cleaners should learn how to clean though. It's pretty gross to see someone hair all over the place.

Amazing stay. The staff is wonderful and so helpful! We will be returning soon :-)

Wonderfully kept, very safe and clean with fantastic amenities…

This is a pet-friendly hotel with courteous staff. Facility, linens and beddings are clean. It is located in a beautiful and quiet area and across the street from Church of St. Peter and just within a walking distance to fast food places, shopping center, and historic buildings. It is also just a mile away from Saratoga Springs Spa State Park and a very huge fenced off-leash dog park. I will definitely stay in this hotel again the next time I visit Saratoga Springs.

Staying on a business trip as I work with Covid patients. The first night I checked in guy at front desk was awfully rude. I went to work one day and came back to all my lights on in my room (I make sure they’re off), my phone chargers missing, my wireless headphones gone, stuff out of my fridge missing, and the heat on 78. Brought this to the front desk, they told me I had been checked out for 4 days but why does my key still work… she said housekeeping came down yesterday and asked about your room as your stuff was still in there. Head of house keeping came down and stated half the stuff that was in my room and stated that they went in my room. Funny how you go in my room and I come home and my stuff is missing. Stated they could call the cops (not even check the cameras first). Pretty sad I can’t even leave my stuff in my room while I go to work without it being taken. They made me feel very uncomfortable staying in that hotel my last night. Asked if I was gonna continue to stay there I stated I was not because I wasn’t comfortable staying there.

I hope the the guy in the photo I've included doesn't work there anymore. Being around him was abnormal and he smlled like he had a full diaper. I asked him where the pool area was and he replied, "that way. " Immediately afterward, he made a slight finger gesture down the long hallway. His hands appeared brown. I hope it wasn't poop. On a separate occasion I overheard him making loud animal noises in the halls while what appeared to be dried up buffalo sauce covered his lips and facial hair. I've never seen anything quite like it in my years of travel. I hope I never do again.

Was there for a banquet. Service was terrible. Water glasses were empty most of dinner. Orderedmy prime rib rare came med well. Another person wantd medium got rare. Third person told they ran out. He was given some creamy pasta dish. He told us he doesn't eat bread, pasta and dairy. Place has really gone downhill.

Very noisy room. Some A/C above which is noisy (humming) even when not operating. Could only sleep with earplugs. No peace & quiet in the room. Incompetent engineering & lack of concern for guest comfort. They need to fix this or stop using this part of the building as a guest room. An expensive bad experience.

Great staff! I’ve been staying here for over 10 years and have never seen a more congenial, helpful and happy staff. Stay here!

Had a great stay at this location this past Sunday. The room was clean, love the outside fire pit. Definitely recommend this location if staying in Saratoga Springs.

Not sure of the girls name at the front desk but she was great. I would recommend this place to anyone. Clean rooms and great staff. We got a suite being a platinum member and it was spacious and clean.

Glad I got a great deal I paid less than half their normal rate and they even upgrade my room for free, but unfortunately, that still was not enough for me to give them a good review. It's all about the money, at this price point the hotel is dated (see photos), old elevators, hallways, etc. The room could have been cleaner and need new furniture, carpeting, fridge, TV, pretty much everything. Bottom line is I wouldn't stay there again.

A great place to stay in a great city. Within walking distance of almost everything but the horse tracks. Except in thoroughbred racing season (mid-July through August), a great lodging value. Child friendly. Pet friendly. Clean, comfortable rooms. Great service (room cleaning, front desk). The all you can eat breakfast buffet is a great value but not available on all days. Other than the buffet, the restaurant food is OK but not a good value. Like the restaurant, the bar is also not a good value. But there is more reasonable food and drink within walking distance.

I was there for a conference and the provided venues were perfect, equipment worked well, and meals provided were delicious. Staff was curteous and kind. Excellent stay.

Loved everything about my stay here. It was located right in the heart of Saratoga, which was very convienent. As well, the front desk was very helpful and met every request I had. Best of all, they had the most affordable rooms in Saratoga during track season. It was great.

Great to work with, especially when hosting a group! The rooms are nice, clean, and the hotel staff is accommodating. Priced well for the Saratoga area as well. Staff is also knowledgeable about the hotel grounds and surrounding community.

I had won a Gift Certificate through a fund raising auction for a one nights stay at this hotel. However, management has made it nearly impossible to redeem this certificate, as apparently I have to essentially wait for a night that they decide I can use it. I contacted them nearly 4 weeks prior to the Friday night that I wanted to stay and they kept telling me to call back the following week and see if they would have it room available. Finally they had all the rooms booked and then they told me I would have to try another night. I understood that they would only want me to use it on a night that they didn't have all of their rooms sold, but they apparently want the good publicity that comes with making a donation to a good cause, but don't actually want to fulfill their commitment to it.

It was our hotel of choice when we visited our daughter at Skidmore. They have done major renovations and the lobby and entrance are much more inviting. The restaurant was fair but overall service throughout the hotel was excellent.

Rooms are very clean, staff us extremely helpful. The conference catering was fantastic and never ran out of items! Wonderful experience!

Went to a conference here and stayed in the hotel as well. The bed was comfortable and the pillows are labeled soft or firm, which was nice so you could decide what you like. There is a fridge in the room, not stocked, as well as a safe. The air conditioner unit is a bit noisy. Biggest complaint of the room is the blackout curtains which are missing 2" on the bottom so the light shines through brightly in the morning. There is a restaurant in the hotel which you can order room service, which is nice and I don't think most Holiday Inns have. There is complementary coffee in the lobby in the am and fresh fruit flavored water all day. For a conference, this was a very comfortable place to meet.

Excellent service from the time we arrived. The Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The Bar was busy for a Thursday and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The next day we had breakfast and there were many different choices. Breakfast was delicious. The next time we visit Saratoga Springs we will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn.

The front of house staff is absolutely amazing. I stayed last night and was remiss about getting their names but they are this places true gems! The shuttle to town is great but I must say the parking is horrid. I had to park a street away and walk to the hotel. Very disappointing not to have spaces reserved for guests with paying rooms. I noticed a review that stated they were fixing parking in August of 2017. In the meantime you need to offer reserved parking for paying guests. I have a bad hip and considering the icy conditions this morning it was just downright dangerous for me.

The Holiday Inn is a nice hotel with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The bar attached to the hotel had an outside gas firepit that was especially nice to have a beer at this time of year. Convenient location, right on the main drag in Saratoga.

Gray hotel. Rooms are very nice and clean. The convention center is very nice and the staff were fantastic. I will say that they charge way too much for drinks.

Clean, comfortable, and reasonable. Cozy firelight lounges, friendly bar (they don't serve shots), well-organized conference space, tasteful equine art elements, perfect location, efficient rooms at inexpensive rates, free coffee (but no continental breakfast) … Absolutely centrally located to all the nice things in Saratoga Springs: Congress Park, restaurants, bars, museums, tons of public art spaces. The sheets were pretty rough, but the beds and pillows were comfortable. Overall, definitely recommend!

The stay was nice. Rooms clean and accommodating! Including restaurant server's nice actual service very very slow but food was good. Need more server's to accommodate hotel customers expecting…

Pretty nice for a chain hotel. The rooms are somewhat dated in some respects, but were decent. The lobby is very nice and the restaurant had a really good breakfast. The onsite pool was nice and warm and very welcome since it rained the entire time I was there. The location is great too. Right next to Congress park. In fact, there is a grand stone staircase leading to the park from the back of the hotel parking lot. The only issue is that it can be a bit of a hike to get to the main drag, especially with kids.

Obviously this isn’t a 5 star hotel, but everything was modern and clean. The bedding was crisp, the heater sufficiently warm (when it was 20 outside) and plenty of bath linen in the room we were in. It had HBO and a Keurig coffee maker — the coffee was decent, but they didn’t have those mini creamer containers, it only had powdered non dairy. The best thing for the Holiday Inn was that it allows dogs! I would not stay at any place that wouldn’t allow my dog to stay with me. The king sized bed was comfortable and big enough for both my gf and our two dogs for a good nights rest.

I went to an awards ceremony. Very nicely set up, very fantastic staff, very organized. That part I would highly recommend. The food was cold, the prime rib had a absolutely no taste. The chicken was fantastic, but cold. Just put more hear and taste and you guys are.

Hotel was very nice at a very affordable price. The rooms were spacious, bathrooms very nice as well, beds we're comfy and there were a ton of outlets for everyone to plug in devices. Our rooms were connected with our others friends which was nice as well. They had an on demand shuttle service for any location within 5 miles and the driver was very pleasant. The hotel is also conviently located near some of the nightlife, within walking distance.

I stayed here for an event hosted at the nearby Gideon and didn't regret for a second. Room was comfortable and well kept. Complimentary coffee pods in the room. Good water pressure. Fire pit outside! Would stay again.

The room was clean and quite cheap, and the breakfast in the restaurant was rich. The coffee needs help, but there is a Starbucks close by. This hotel is not very elegant, but has free Wi-Fi. Probably we will come back.

Nice, clean, good sized hotel in a great spot. Right around the corner from shopping and Dunkin Donuts. Allowed our dogs which was the best part! Also there was a little lake right next to the hotel to walk the dogs too. No complaints :)

Dog-loving hotel, staff is super courteous, rooms are way bigger than I expected. Clean, especially for dog-loving. Church bells woke me up, but that's hardly the hotel's fault.

Great location, comfortable beds, and the hotel interior is well decorated. The staff was very friendly overall but I must comment on my experience at breakfast. I booked my room online and it included complimentary breakfast tickets. The food was super tasty, but the waitress could not be any more unwelcoming and rude. I felt as though my dining with her was an inconvenience. Not a good way to start the day, and not a good "brand representative" for the hotel chain. Everyone has their days, but leave your ego at the door lady.

Clean bedding and towels. Tv worked. Air conditioner worked well. Fridge was good. Bathroom was acceptable. Ironing board was gross. Closet was a bit small. Gym is tiny. Great location in Toga. The suites blow the regular rooms out the water, so get one of those if possible. Concierge was very nice and helpful. Pool area was nice. Decent stay for a great price and amazing location right next to the park and casino.

I had a good time at the holiday inn. It is right next to the park which is really nice and walking distance from the night life.

Saratoga Springs is great, the Hotel is conveniently located and the staff was friendly and helpful. Room and furniture were dated, bathroom was small and cramped. I cannot believe that the hotel can command $475.00+ while the horse track is open, yet rooms are $200.00 less when the track is closed. Not worth the money.

My family stayed here last weekend for my mom's birthday. Everyone at the hotel was so accommodating. We lost our room key, they replaced it with no hassle. We forgot our sons blanket (that he carries everywhere! ) in the restaurant, and the front desk remembered seeing him with it and called our room to let us know! They were also amazing in the restaurant, setting up for 20 people in the dining room. They allowed us to leave center pieces and a cake at the front desk, that they put out for us and suprised my mom at the time of our reservations! Great food and great service! My family was so unorganized too another day when 6 of us sat down and ordered, then 4 of my relatives came and we pushed tables together, and then more relatives came and we pushed another table together, and the waitress still smiled! She kept up with our crazy family. & she managed to get every order right! She was amazing! We had an amazing time! My aunt stayed at another hotel, which she cancelled, and stayed at the Holiday Inn with us the next night. I have so many wonderful things to share about this hotel, but I am going to stop here! Simply amazing staff, service, rooms, restaurant, and so on!

The outside and lobby look good, but the rooms have some issues. In our room, the bath faucet did not shut off totally while showering, so I had an ankle-deep pool by the end. The hair dryer would not stay plugged in in the bathroom outlets (fell out), so it had to be used in the main area. The doors and halls near the elevator were very narrow and made moving baggage difficult. I can't imagine if I were handicapped and tried to stay there.

We were upgraded to a king size bed. Great indoor and outdoor pools. Nice bar restaurant right inside the hotel.

Great stay overall. Clean, comfy and they upgraded me to a corner king room, instwad of a regular king. However, they are a little uptight about some things. Mostly nice staff. Get the $5 breakfast voucher! So worth it!

Comfortable rooms, with a convenient shuttle that can take you downtown if you don't want to make the 10 minute walk. Also, a really neat feature is an umbrella in every room, just in case it rains.

Not the best Holiday Inn I've stayed in as the rooms felt worn out, even though the furniture had been updated. In addition, the pillows were incredibly overstuffed and the bathrooms were quite small. I also had breakfast in the hotel and while decent it was inconsistent from day to day. The first day it was cooked well, but the second day, the toast was burned and the omelet flat and much smaller. The one major benefit to staying here is the proximity to downtown and other area attractions.

I was there for a conference and the experience was outstanding. The hotel is very clean, a warm welcoming staff, and a hotel shuttle that is available on demand. The room was very spacious, warm and cozy. Great stay for the family.

I went for Easter brunch. The food selection was average, consisting of: roast beef, ham, fish, and chicken. The roast beef was fantastic, so was the cole slaw. That being said, the potatoes were undercooked, the stuffing on the fish tasted as if they didn't season it at all, and the orange juice was obviously watered down.

I have been n avid customer of Holiday Inn for many years. I recently attended a conference at the hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and fun to be around. The only complaint is that the rooms were a tad small, but I would rather have a small room due to a large bed than a large room due to a small bed.

Always a pleasant stay. The only thing I wanted but there wasn't was late night room service for food.

Great location. Great rooms. Great service… the only problem was, we wanted breakfast delivered to our room and they said to leave our food choice on the door and it will get picked up and it never did so we never got breakfast in the morning. But other than that, it was great.

I always enjoy the Holiday Inn, this is the third year we've stayed there. Many only complaint is that the website advertises that some of the rooms have bigger bathtubs (maybe it's standard language from the parent company? ) and as far as I can tell none of them do. I requested a more expensive room this year because it advertised a larger tub and it turned out to be so small my partner barely fit in it. Other than that problem the rooms are lovely and the service is excellent.

Great room, beautiful decor, nice bar. Service was iffy on arrival but improved greatly.

My room was located on the second floor. The room was clean and modern. The staff was very helpful and in no way made you feel uncomfortable or pressured.

At a banquet. Room was incredibly warm; they did not turn on the air even though there were more than 600 in the room.

Had a breakfast meeting for an organization. Food was basic breakfast fare, good but not great.

Great location. We stay here frequently during the track season, the rooms are great, the restaurant is reasonable, nice pool and there is a great fire pit outside for late night drinks and to unwind. One of our favorite spots.

Beds are large and comfy, hvac is quiet, walking distance from everything.

I'm actually currently throwing my guts up, because I got food poisoning. This isn't a " crappy comment " either. I was staying in the Inn next door and what happened I was there for a Moose convention. I know for a fact that it was their food that got me sick, and that this is terrible service. I ate there twice and nothing in between. I'm sick, and hoping you don't book here.

Great experience stay at this facility. The shuttle took me to all the restaurants within reason and was very dependable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We have been staying here for 13 years. This hotel's location is in Saratoga's beautiful Park. It has 2 pools! You can bring a dog! You can walk your dog through the adjacent park. There is a Ben and Jerry's at the end of the park. There are 2 pools at this hotel — indoor and outdoor. There are nice lounge chairs and plenty of towels. There is free coffee/tea in the morning in the lobby. The location rocks. Highly recommend this hotel for many reasons.

This hotel practices shady business. Do not book here, ever. They will charge your card as soon as you book. They are completely unrevealing when booking that they are more often than not offering you a completely non refundable room. Hence they say if you need to cancel. At all. They will charge a fee. That fee is the entire cost of your stay. When dealing with this the poor staff at the hotel don't even know what to do but to hand you off to the main Holiday INN guest services line, because clearly they have to deal with this regularly. It is a terrible practice.

This is a really terrific hotel! The staff is not only friendly but many have been at the property for a very long time (the GM has been there 30 years! ). Each time I return it is like seeing old friends. The location is in the heart of town, so you can park your car once and walk to major attractions like Saratoga Racecourse, Downtown Saratoga Springs, Canfield Casino even Saratoga Spa State Park which houses SPAC and spa services Roosevelt Bath. Hardwood floors throughout the lobby, full-service restaurant and bar plus a brand new outdoor patio with a fire pit for late night tapas and conversation. Great place.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were very flexible about late check-out. The room was comfortable, especially the pillows. There was free internet access, which is a huge plus! My two minuses: 1. ) The fitness room is in a separate building. I am not about to go through the entire hotel (including the lobby and whatever conference is going on that day) in my workout gear then outside into the freezing cold to work out. I made do with some yoga and strength exercises in my room. 2. ) The breakfast was bad. I'm not normally too picky about food quality, but I had two bites of the eggs and one of the toast, and I was done with them. The home fries were fine, as was the milk and OJ. It was also 20 minutes late — I ordered for 8:00 and it came at 8:20. Unacceptable. This is a good hotel to stay in if you're visiting the area on a weekend or overnight visit and don't plan to take advantage of the amenities. I was happy with the majority of my stay.
