The hotel is clean quiet and well lit. The staff is respectful. Other guest keep to themselves. Lots of families with children. So I feel safe and unbothered at the same time.

Great prices great service prices are great and rooms are nice.

Possibly one of the grosses hotels I have been too in a long time. I travel blog as a flight attendant and this hotel is yuck. There were numerous pubic hairs in the tub when I checked in. The bed had hairs and make up on the sheets and pillows. I should have taken pics of the shower before I washed the pubs out. I did get some of the bed and pillow cases. Basically they don’t clean the rooms. It sucks I came in at 1am so I’m kinda stuck here for the night. I wish I could get my money back and go somewhere else. I put pics of the bed up on Yelp.

Friendly staff. Clean room and building. Easy check in. Security cameras everywhere. Price was right and hotel for not disappoint.

Breakfast here was awful. Awful, one of the wost I ve had in hotels. For the price, it was ewtremeny disappointing. Never again. Plus, the place is average.

The staff were very friendly and friendly, the room was very good. The only good thing is the location but not worth it as you can't rest.

By far this has been one of the worse hotels I ever visited, my wife and I booked 2 nights in this hotel that we ended up spending only 20 minutes. As soon as we checked in I noticed a very strong cigarette and marijuana smell but we ignored it. The receptionist gave us a room in the basement since the rooms in the top floors were “booked”. As soon as we open our room that cigarette and marijuana smell was so strong and that’s when the red flag came up. Like every other hotel that visited in the past we always inspect the room to make sure everything is up to standard. After we decided to inspect the room and the very first thing we noticed was this big urine stains all over the mattress and sheets also there was a fresh blood stain and hair in the bathroom towels. This place was a mess not only the rooms were dirty but that marijuana and cigarette smell was very strong is funny how they made me sign a paper that if we smoke in the rooms they’ll charge me $700 fine when this place smells like cigarettes and marijuana already. We went back to the lobby and spoke to the representative which was extremely rude when we asked to get a refund, he offered a room in the top floors contradicting himself because he had mentioned when we arrived that all the top floors were booked, now all of the sudden he now has a room in the top floors.

The Hotel If we talk about the infrastructure is nice and moderately moderate. The Service and maintenance of the same are bad. The worst of it is the breakfast, pretend that there is no.
The area is not very nice to look at but it has a subway nearby to move everywhere.
He Doesn't Follow the same conditions as the other Howards.

Do not book with them. I booked a decent deal with them. When I arrive, he tells me to go to the hotel next door? Where I am then forced to pay with cash even though I emailed the Howard Jonson, telling them I will be paying with my card, as I had read similar reviews online. I don’t know what’s going on with these two hotels. But it’s something dodgy.

The hotel is very close to the airport.

Stayed with family. The rooms are small. But we had enough space. Savbey Station is 300-400 metres from the hotel. It's a train to JFK airport. The room on the floor stepped on something spicy. In a pile of carpet was imperceptibly sticking out a carnation. He invited the staff. A woman of the age of 50 came. Showed her clearly this place. She shook her head, saying, ay-yay-yay, and it was over. A few days lived in the room. Nothing has changed. So can be transferred AIDS! Be careful and do not go here without slippers!

Nice rooms, clean and cheap, right next to the train station. Breakfast, unfortunately, is not so good.

The room was nice but when we got in it was super hot and smelled like BO. After keeping the air on for a couple hours it got better but still. Also, there was a booger on one of the two towels in the bathroom so after my brother took a shower, no one else could. They might just be unlucky circumstances though so that's why I didn't rank it lower.

Super convenient to get to JFK. It's also close to grocery shops and restaurants. The room is clean. The hotel also offers breakfast starting at 6:30am. The price is good for short stay.

Location is a high rise building at the corner of the street. Service was okay. Sone times there was no one attending to the front desk and they also ran out of clean towels to give.

Very good hotel, clean rooms good breakfast and with great staff. I forgot my phone charger and my phone was dead and front desk manager Kumar let me use his charger for me to charge my phone before my trip. I would comeback to stay again.

I went to this hotel for the weekend. It was a very pleasant stay. My room was clean. I was near the shopping area.

This was my first and last time I will ever stay at any Howard Johnson hotels! The service sucks there were dirty rooms smells of whatever kind no parking no towels roaches were in the rooms horrible service waste of money will never go back there again please stay away those hotels deserve to be shut down!

First this hotel had no parking so we had to park on the streetthere were no towels in the room. The service was horrible the room had roaches in it they watch your every move altogether this hotel is a disgrace it's dirty and filthy the room smells like smoke I would never spend my money there again biggest mistake ever please do not waste your time to go there.

I am so appalled by the way I was treated durring my stay here at Howard Johnson, this hotel they were really rude inpatient they came in your room to just bother you the room was filthy and had roaches it smelled horrible altogether they are watching the cameras 24 seven bad experience would never go there again people there did not care how they treated you like you are nobody please do not waste your money on going there.

This was the worst hotel stay ever, I'm usually not the one to complain but this was terrible, there were roaches in the room very dirty smells like smoke room service sucks they don't allow people in your room for a second disrespectful receptionist watching your every move, make you feel very uncomfortable all together horrible experience will never go there again this hotel deserves to be shut down I never reopened horrible all together don't ever go.

Front desk was not being patience for the customers. He was not enthusiastical. Not even a "hello" or " welcome ".

Pretty good, I forgot my watch after check put, the front desk agent allowed me to go back in and grab it.

The worker at the front desk was rude. The walls are really thin and the room was dirty. You have to call the front desk for them to turn on the air. The room had a wet smell. Worst of all there was dirty underwear under my bed. Only good thing was it had a clean bathroom with 1 of the 2 towels they provide being dirty.

Near the train station. Quiet.

What a terrible company this is. They are absolutely The worst chain in America! The people working at the front desk are terrible humans, and I don't know how they would hire such filth to work there. I would not recommend anyone to come here.

A Hotel ideal for travelers who do not want to spend your holiday in the Hotel, but clean bed, bathroom and good transport links need. Wi-Fi there are, however, only on paper. Present, but unusable.

Perfect for one night before flight.

Bang for the buck — Clean room and shower under $150 — you cant go wrong! Booking company screwed up reservation, but staff got us room anyway. Thank you General Manager.
