Area attracts seedy population. Manager did do a very good job of kicking loud neighbors out.

I loved it. The rooms are very nice, prices are the best, the staff is helpful and breakfast was great.

Clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff convenient to JFK with free shuttle for guests. Only issue was the outside noise from a very busy highway made it seem like the window was open although it was firmly shut. Also, the strong smell of marijuana in the hallway needs to be addressed. Great Italian restaurant that delivers. Be warned: proportions are huge!

Can be tricky to spot from the road, especially in rainy weather. The parking lot is behind the hotel, but there is sometimes the airport shuttle bus, making it a bit tight (especially if you've just picked up the rental car). Staff were really friendly and helpful, there's coffee constantly available, free Wi-Fi and even a business center (couple of computers on a desk). The room was clean enough, and quiet, especially from traffic noise. There are a few dining options really close (burger king, 7-11), a good place to crash either before or after a long haul flight.

Good communication, rooms were pleasant. We had an 8pm flight so they let my party stay till 12pm with no charge and we spent the rest of the time in the breakfast room. Very accommodating.

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIBully. Com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! Location was close to the airport. They have a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel so that's helpful. Basic accommodations but really all we needed for the quick stay we had between flights.

One of the cheaper hotels. Close to JFK airport, but it was fairly comfortable. The desk manager was super nice, cheek in was fast. Beds were comfortable, water was hot and ac was cold.

Good hotel near JFK with free shuttle pickup at Federal Circle. Rooms clean and breakfast plus Wi-Fi are free. Not too big and not too fancy. Still NYC prices, but a great place to spend a night when JFK and or the airlines screw up your travel. Nice folks too, gave us some toiletries to ease the frustration with Delta airlines. Would stay here again absolutely.

The rooms were clean. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, friendly, and I must say quite patient. There should be more breakfast options. Bagel, waffles, toast, and cereal each day was a bit of a bore. The 24/7 coffee was definitely the greatest hit of the stay for me. There are a few food places nearby and delivery is quite easy. For Muslims, a variety of halal food places are closeby. My 10-day stay at Howard Johnson was extremely wonderful.

Not very clean at all. Very small selection of breakfast even though it is free. 711 just a walk away. Take out menus at reception available. No pool. It is a good 1 night stay hotel.

The neighborhood was a little rough around the edges, but the building is in good condition, is extremely close to JFK airport, and is very clean. The staff was GREAT! They recommended locations for dinner, accurately estimated Uber/Lyft fair, and offered a free late check out when they heard we had a late flight. Their free breakfast had a variety of options and was well maintained. Wish we had stayed a little longer to enjoy the variety of ethnic food nearby. We enjoyed our stay here!

Nice and clean rooms are a little small but bed is very comfortable lots of towels and room hy and a nice smell to it. Be prepared to find parking if your driving they only have 3 spots in front neighborhood is ok a few fast food joints around staff is not too engaging but not rude just standoffish.

I like this hotel. Clean, inexpensive and convenient. They keep your car for you while on vacation. Staff is nice and Small breakfast included. Would stay here again.

Rooms are very small — with no couches — only choice of double beds or king. It was clean. Continental breakfast was good. Thry have free parking! Which is huge in the city. Staff was VERY friendly.

Suresh is behind the front desk and is excellent! He instantly greeted us with a smile and process all necessary paperwork to stay at the inn very quickly. His customer service made this hotel a return if I was to fly out of JFK. The room was clean and the van to get us to JFK was ready at 5:00 AM. Thanks to all the staff!

Quiet and close to the airport! Very clean and nice staff. Decent free breakfast (coffee, tea, bananas, bagels, milk etc. ) and a convenient shuttle to any part of JFK.

Quiet, comfortable, good breakfast (free) only a handful of TV channels (the basics and a few Starz) but very very entertaining. Easy check-ins, free rear parking.

A dung, both the price and the place. The room? Okay, clean up. The only thing you pay for is proximity to JFK. It is preferable to stay in NYC and take a taxi then to the airport. The taxi gets you a few dollars more than you pay from the nearest train station, Jamaica, to the hotel. I don't give him a star because it would be unfair: My rating is for the price/quality ratio.

I'm a choice member so it's always my first choice. This ws my second visit on my way to JFK. Hotel is clean enough and prices reasonable. Convenient to JFK but not to food.

Me and my family stayed there in march. My stay was very clean and comfortable. Janet took very good care of me. She made sure I had everything I needed. She also help me book an extra night. I would recommend this place and definitely stay here again. Many food choices as well THANKS JANET.

Room was okay and pizza delivery was good, had gluten free. The crib they provided for our 2 year old was terrible. It was all metal.

We got the basement room, but even that said it was really pretty nice. As far as airport hotels go, it was clean, centrally located, staff was helpful and kind, no complaints. The bed was comfortable and bedding was clean, the bathroom is clean, and the breakfast was pretty good.

Friendly front desk I have late arrival at 5am. He waited for me and extended my check out time. The room has a pleasant fragrance. Recommend to stay.

My room was amazing, clean, the bed was very comfortable. Included shampoo and conditioner, it was excellent that they included a soap massage bar as well. Great on-demand movies, enjoyed the nice sign included that stated "do not disturb". The continental breakfast was delicious, will visit again.

The night was fine, the room as fine the problem was that I left 2 bags on your shuttle, I called the front desk requesting to have my luggage brought back, guy in charge at night said that the driver refused, Raymond the driver refused. No reason was given other than Raymond does not want to. The guy at the desk said there was no one in charge that I could talk to which was strange cause I though the guy at the desk is in charge if there isn’t a manager. I had to cab back to grab my stuff and head back to the airport. Your staff does not care about doing the work nor taking charge of any work. For that reason you get 1 Star.

Rooms were reasonable and for a reasonable price. Very friendly staff. Good for a quick stay before or after a flight at JFK.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. It was immaculate everywhere, beyond even my expectations. I would definitely stay again if I need to catch an early flight!

Good Shuttle service from JFK and back in the morning. Fast Check-in, Clean rooms but very small and simple.

For a quick in and out it's decent enough… great front desk and awesome breakfast room, no really it's surprisingly great. Real food!

Hair in the tub. Close to the airport and have good free breakfast. However, room wasn't clean. There was dirt behind the door. The wall was not well painted. Cobwebs on the ceiling. The people next door were smoking weed. We had to place a towel behind the door to keep it from coming into our room.

Great location for my visit. Would definitely stay again.

Nice inn… close to the airport… looks like they have a great breakfast area but, my flight was too early to enjoy.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Location near the airport with free shuttle. Shuttle came quickly after being called. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, cereal, etc. Very nice.

The housekeeping staff never greeted or smiled not once. Plus, the water pressure was very low and slow. In addition, the bottom of the shower looked like a mat remained there overnight and stained the shower. The toilet took way too much effort to flush.

The bed was comfortable, shower is bigger then most. Never take room by the cafeteria the staff are extremely loud. The breakfast sausage wasn't completely done, eggs are disgusting. The garbage truck come in the parking lot n pick up trash late hours in the morning right by the window. Housekeeper walks in the room without knocking asking what time is check out @10:20am, no privacy.

Beyond noisy — no sound proofing so could every word clearly down the hall and sounded as though kitchen staff were inside the room clanging pots and talking at 4am. Carpet was patched in areas, threadbare in others and disgusting.

I was two nights and I slept pretty well… If only there had not been so much air conditioning!

Very comfortable beds. Great breakfast selection. Friendly staff. Only 1.2 miles away from JFK with free shuttle service. Very satisfied with my stay here dont see why it has and bad reveiws and the price is over $100 less than the competitors around the same area.

Good hotel. Well furnished with Wi Fi and abundant breakfast included with transfer including every hour. Great to spend transit night as close to JFK airport and well connected to Subway.

We had a cancelled flight around 3AM and called everywhere to find a room. Sleep Inn helped me out so much. My girlfriend and I were losing our minds having been in the airport for like 9 hours. They had one room and held it for me while we got over there. The prices are average, possibly on the lower side for the area. I honestly wasn't expecting much but we were both pleasantly surprised. Seems to be a small, close, staff. The room was clean, the staff very friendly. The breakfast they offer is much better than a lot of other hotels. The walls are thin which is my only complaint, but could have been much worse. The rooms are not big, but for one or two they are perfect. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a minimal, clean room by JFK. They offer shuttles, and are very accommodating. They made the worst airport experience tolerable. Thanks again.

Quick place to spend the night, small parking lot be careful if you have a large vehicle. Not bad service.

Don't really like the hotel was full of local people and their where always augments in the evening with locals but the breakfast was ok.

The room was OK, the rest of the motel is in the process of an upgrade. There was no good restaurants within walking distance.

Good clean budget accommodation. Airport shuttle was great. We had a godd night sleep after 20 hours of flying and enjoyed the breakfast.

Booked a room for easy early morning transit to the airport but the flight was canceled. Totally inflexible cancelation policy. I'll never stay in another Sleep Inn ever again.

The rooms are very small. And what they sold us as a 3 men room was more like a 2 men room. But it was clean and cheap. The breakfast is nothing special as well but it does its job and feeds you.

I was having the worst day ever then I walked into this hotel. They were very nice and wanted me to feel at home. I even missed the shuttle to the airport and they came back for me:). Great service!

Booked online showed rate for three days 258$ I went there they charged me 100$ extra… and plus 100$ for gurantee… so total 460$ got the 100$ back afterwards… bt still inacurate details… fooling ppl.

The room is not bad, although it would definitely need to be refreshed. The hotel is old and battered, the car park with very few parking spaces. The Wi-Fi is not bad. The rooms facing the street are very noisy, in practice there is no soundproofing. King bed very comfortable. Breakfast is ridiculous. I don't think I'll ever go back.

The Rooms are clean and comfortable, the services needs improving to. Customers. Setbacks, entrance to hotel is a bit ackward. It need an entrance in the courtyard.

I called to see if I could cancel the reservation. I called three month earlier before the arriving time. The agent told me that she could cancel the reservation for me, and there would be no charge on my bank account. But days later, they charged any way, and they refused to solve the problem. He didn't give my money back. The manager and the staffs are really rude. So I will not, ever, ever recommend this hotel.

Sucked. If I could award negative stars I would. Bug infested. Had to ask for toiletries and towels. At check out the desk clerk refused to provide a receipt for expense report purposes. Will NEVER stay in this dump again.

Staff was pleasant and the room had great anemeties but the Wi-Fi constantly logged me off and the free movie service was not operating well at the time of stay. Would stay again.

Good hotel for a night's stay near JFK. Room was on fourth floor. Small room, but functional with a queen sized bed. Breakfast was good. Overall, a very pleasant stay with no complaints.

Very convenient for those who (like me) worry about traffic. 10-minute FREE ride from and to JFK (shuttle departs every hour). Bathroom was super clean, towels and all. Comfortable beds. Easy access to public transportation. Friendly staff at front desk helped me organize a self-guided day tour to Manhattan for four people, and we spent less than $50 round trip. Nearby food options include Burger King, KFC, chinese and of course pizza. Noise is typical of an airport and commercial area surroundings. The property manager must be proud of his team, they keep this place well. We'll definitely come back! Thank you!

Not a bad hotel for one night. The room is clean. All the amenities (Internet, coffee, bubbles in the bathroom). The only inconvenience-the room is in the basement, and behind the window is a unit that is constantly working.
