It has a great bar with great food friendly staff and great cocktails and the hotel is beautiful.

Could not have been happier with our stay — it truly was the best Christmas ever! The room was gorgeous, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Great staff, very accommodating. The room was amazing, and the hotel is very kid friendly, they even left some cute amenities for our baby (baby bath robe! ). We can’t wait to come back, hopefully 903 is available! Very close to many sights but not too loud.

The Iroquois is the perfect small hotel. Friendly, attentive & knowledgeable staff, excellent location, perfectly clean, quiet, elegant rooms and Frette bed & bath linens made my week stay very enjoyable. The rooms are not large but provide every comfort. The dining room & kitchen are being refurbished but prompt room service is being provided by an excellent restaurant in the same block. Not my first stay & not the last!

Brand new refurnished rooms, nice staff and in the middle of New Yorks Manhattan. Whats not to like.

The Iroquois Hotel is a 4-star boutique hotel in Midtown Manhattan, located near Times Square and Grand Central Station with plenty of restaurants and shopping within close walking distance. The hotel offer a great bar and restaurant on-site AND complimentary coffee and beverages in the lobby library where you can relax, read your paper, and unwind from the day's activities. The rooms are very small but clean and surprisingly quiet. The hotel staff is wonderful and greet you each time you enter the hotel and exit from the elevator into the lobby. The location of the hotel is utter perfection! 5th Ave, Times Square, Theatre District, etc. The concierge was exceptional and went out of her way to make our experience perfect and special! The doormen are attentive, and the hotel simply exudes class. The beds and very comfortable, and the Triomphe Restaurant on site is simply divine!

It's a shame there is a few building works going on, however the staff are very friendly and attentive, the room is nice although a tight squeeze in some places.

The best hotel in NYC! My sisters and I had a king suite with an adjoining king room. Lots of space for 3 people. The staff was incredibly accommodating — even going so far as to replace a mug that housekeeping accidentally broke with an exact replica. We were blown away. Beds were comfy, bathrooms spacious. I can hardly wait to stay again!

Really enjoyed my stay, at the Iroquois Hotel New York recently, Came a little early, from the airport. They were very accommodating, give me a room right away. Will definitely return.

Excellent small hotel in a great NYC midtown location. Staff is very friendly and makes every effort to make your stay comfortable. Most the the rooms (if not all) have recently been redone with a more modern approach. Great bar downstairs (I have previously reviewed the bar). Walking distance to tourist attractions only a few blocks away. If driving the is a modern and safe 24/7 indoor parking garage across the street. Absolutely an excellent place to stay in NYC.

Good location but very cold rooms, unreally cold. Unstable internet. Only one working elevator of two on 12 floors busy hotel, full of people, waiting for it took for 5-7 minutes waiting. Friendly stuff. Small bathroom.

Beautiful, affordable boutique hotel smack dab in the middle of the action, but just far enough from Times Square to be convenient, but not crazy. Lanterns Keep Lounge is a cocktail lovers dream… Great small plates too.

I honestly cannot fault this hotel! Spotless clean, with polite and helpful staff and a quiet, refined atmosphere. It is perfectly placed as it is literally in the heart of everthing, but still feels like a cosy little bolt-hole as soon as you're inside. It's calming, comfortable, convenient and stylish. You can keep to yourself, or wander down to the very good bar (there's actually two, and we liked the restaraunt bar best) and chat with many guests who are on their third, fourth or fifth stay at this well kept secret of a place. Gregory's coffee right across the street and the red flame diner a couple of doors down make it easy to set yourself up for a day in the city, while the complimentary hot drinks in the lobby make it the perfect place to come back to when you've worn yourself out. We had room 908 (family room with two double beds) and it was perfect for our needs. The beds are comfy, the bathroom was amazing and the room itself was well sized and looked fantastic. You don't get a view with this hotel, and in our opinion that small fact wasn't enough to detract from the many wonderfull things that this place has to offer. We'll definitely be back.

I give this hotel 5 stars from the room to the staff! We had a amazing stay, the staff is friendly and the rooms are super clean. I am super picky when it comes to hotel rooms. The location is walking distance to a lot of famous attractions in nyc. The only issue we had was with valet being slow (but that isn’t the hotels fault) We will defiantly be coming back!

Love this hotel! It is in a prime area in midtown and does not disappoint! The staff is very friendly and the room is clean and very comfortable. We stayed on the 12th floor and heard very little street noise. The workout room is fine for a quick run on the treadmill. The concierge provided great restaurant recommendations. My one suggestion is to add coffee makers to the room (even though they did have coffee in the library each morning). We will continue to stay at the Iroquois as it can’t be beat!

I was stayed at the hotel in May this year. The hotel is highly recommend, very high level of service, clean hotel and rooms, quiet rooms, excellent location on central midtown of manhattan. The hotel has only 12 floors, an important fact in NY because of an elevator availability.

Great location, very friendly staff and comfortable beds. This was overall an excellent stay. A few downsides were the valet takes awhile to get your car (35 min for me) and the sink water would come out brown at first.

The location is prime real estate, especially for it being so close to Times Square. The room was very quaint and fairly fancy. The service was great although I didn't have extensive interaction with them.

Quaint, warm rooms. Great service at reception. Horrible breakfast. Very pricey for a very average room. Sagar was very very friendly and polite. Beware of touching anything in the mini bar. Staff really great.

Beautiful building, and the service is honestly the best I've ever encountered at a hotel anywhere in the US. Between that and the reasonable (for Times Square) room rates, it just hopped to the top of my list of recommendations for out-of-town guests.

Everything was clean, elegant, and comfortable. The staff's number one concern was service to us. I loved the library where they had delicious coffee, tea and water. Will recommend this place to everyone, especially friends that have AMEX for the booking discount.

Really an excellent experience. I came to New York with my wife for our anniversary, and I expected a small room and rude staff. The opposite was true! The staff are so helpful I feel like Im back in Texas. The room is totally normal in size. The location is superb. I was walking around looking for a pizza place and I accidentally ended up at Times Square it is so close. Grand Central is about a 5 minute walk as well. Couldn't be happier with this nice boutique hotel that I booked using a Cyber Monday deal.

My toddler, wife, her brother & I stayed here for over a week this time last year. As a boutique hotel, we expected a small room but with 3 adults & a toddler, we were seriously living in each others pockets. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. They offered us the Presidential Suite to which we stupidly declined. Still we have unanimously voted that this is the best hotel to stay in throughout NYC. So close to everything. Great staff & the restaurant / bar is top notch!

Smallest room ever stayed in. Slightly smaller than my closet. No view. Small reception area. I am 6 ft and bed is 5 ft 6 inches. Loud restaurant. Not sure I stayed at the same hotel as the others commenting here. If you love small, this is your place. Small is claustrophobic for me. But for others maybe its comforting. Dogs like small tight spaces. I dont. Thanks.

Very clean and comfortable Hotel. You don't hear siren noises You sleep great, also the breakfast is excellent, as the gym room equipped with sauna and ideo massage tub.

A great location to see all the tourist sights and shows in the very heart of Manhattan. The hotel is lovely, clean and the rooms excellent. The service and staff really look after you and nothing is too much trouble. If you are visiting New York, this is the place to stay.

Best price, best location, top service! Restaurants (cheap and very good), supermarket, subway according to down — and Uptown, Times Square, all just around the corner. Unbeatable for the price, very clean, super helpful Petsonal. (Very quiet), spent five nights anytime again.

Like its neighbor The Algonquin, The Iroguois is what I think of as a typical Midtown hotel — charmingly old, with tiny rooms, and an old-fashioned kick-ass cocktail bar (in this case, the Lantern's Keep). Downsides: you pay for the location not the accommodations, so it's on the pricey side (expect $500 for a standard weeknight room), rooms are small, plumbing is old so drains don't work so well. Upsides: great location (close to Bryant Park and Times Square), stellar front desk staff, amazing cocktail bar, Molton Brown toiletries and Frette linens.

The room was beautiful, the bed very comfortable and the staff was incredible. On our first night there my husband became ill. I called the front desk, who called 911 and we were whisked off to the ER. Upon our return, the manager arranged for a cab for us to come back to the hotel and ordered tea and toast for my husband. We were there for four days and each day they called to see if we needed anything. We could not have been treated any kinder or nicer. Thank you so much! Should we return to New York we most certainly will stay again at the Iroquois, and praise them to any of our friends who might make the trip in the future.

I love this place. It is really nice and everything we could possibly ask for was there. Free Wi-Fi and sauna with fitness center (not sure if these are free) were there as well. The hotel is a bit small but that doesn't make it bad or anything. One thing that I didn't like was furniture but that didn't ruin the overall experience.

Spend 5 nights there over new years, fantastic location if you want to explore new york by foot. The rooms are smaller than standard US, but are really nicely done and clean and have a nice posh historic atmosphere. One of the only hotels we have stayed recently where the FREE Wifi worked flawlessly with multiple devices, a lot of other hotels could learn from this. The staff is really nice and helpful as well. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay there again.
