Review of Sanctuary Hotel New York 4*

Jimmy was amazing and so was Blanca! I’ve stayed all over different hotels a decent part of my life both domestically & internationally. With that said, this NYC gem (the city in which I currently reside in) has THEE best service, eloquent decor, stunning rooftop views, and flat out top notch service I’ve seen in practically, years. The staff here makes the Four Seasons staff look mediocre. I can’t even with the authenticity of their care, professionalism and genuineness from the very start. Let’s just say for lack of a better description— either the management/HR department are full of geniuses… or simply put: they just don’t make em’ like that anymore. This place has great food, good brunch, and perfect room service, dinner & sushi menu. While celebrating my partners 35th Bday-they went the extra mile and upgraded us to a top floor “sweet”. Yes, sweet— (and let me tell you the sweet goes beyond any generic ‘suite’ sans the slightest bit of pretentiousness! ). HI5, Jimmy! Calming, Buddhist like statues are thoughtfully placed in the sexy, dimly lit corners of this labyrinth-like lobby. And here, you’ll feel both serene and vibrant as soon as you step foot inside… *Pro-tip*: Be sure to follow the Buddhist-Brick-road toward the left after check-in (before you hit the restaurant). There is a cute cozy bar hidden in the back carefully all tucked away. How. Much. Fun?! Alright, now I am getting a little excited. This hotel has an elegant touch, genuine helpful staff, overall affordable prices and modern design — all while maintaining that classic old midtown style. Amazing if you’re traveling and want to be in the heart of Times Square or in walking range to Rock Center, etc. Nothing but good vibes here and all beauty. This establishment truly makes being a tourist in your own city an adventure—rather than an annoyance. Here I was given the ability to rediscover both Midtown and myself without having to travel far… and all within a simple 1 night stay. (But of course we are saying two, just because we’re excessive for no apparent reason). ‍♀️ When it comes to visiting the city— look no further if you’re aiming to sightsee, or even just sleep. And eat. Either way, no matter your agenda— this hotel should be your go-to. But you can thank me later!
