Although hotel was overbooked and we had to change hotels which caused a bit of a headache. The customer service and follow up were great. Thanks for the response and fixing the problem.

Can I just say I’ve travelled all over the world avd I have never ever met any better staff any where. Jamie on reception when we checked in couldn’t have done more for us it was a great start for our time here in anew York. Hotel rooms are fantastic, bar fantastic and all staff have been so friendly. Makes a massive difference to any trip been mer with a smiling face. We would never stay anywhere else on New York Now xx.

Great location! & amazing view from terrace.

Novotel was so amazing and every staff member we met during our stay was kind, helpful, and considerate. We loved our room, and the way our staff went above and beyond. We had to switch rooms for a minor AC noise issue and they accommodated for us, it was a pleasant experience overall!
We definitely recommend this hotel; great food, it’s in a great place nearby to everything, the design is amazing, and their restaurant/bar and room service were spot on too.
We’ll be coming back next time we’re in NY for sure ❤️

Great location, close to Central Park, Times Square and subway stations. Rooms clean and comfy, of a reasonable size.
The staff at street level were super friendly and welcoming, it was a pleasure returning to the hotel each day and being greeted by them.
Only negative is the price is a little on the high side however it is NY. We secured a special price but still found it rather pricey.
If returning to NY l would return to this hotel provided l could get a discounted price.

A excellent hotel with an unbeatable location, the treatment is exquisite, the incredible facilities and a room with a view of Times Square, priceless.

I don't usually write a review but I didn't have any good time in this Hotel. First of all their advertise something that they don't deliver. I book a room with times square view where the pics of the room and the view was fantastic, I called them to make sure the view was beautiful cause I was getting married that night. And the hotel said the view was amazing So I paid a lot money to have a great view plus a quite room at highest floor far from noise. Now the bad part the view was horrible but a huge building (huge disappoiment cause u pay a lot more money) and last the phone in my room hang at 3am while me and my wife were sleeping Ianswer and they called me by mistake. Well ruined my first night as married and a the surprise I was planning to my while.

Food was just meh. I can cook pretty well so I expect a lot out of a restaurant for $30 per plate. The view of time Square is only from 2 tables in the whole place. Plenty of great places in Manhattan… Skip this one. Try rainbow room similar prices, much better view, and better food.

Trendy hotel in the heart of the theater district. Great views of Times Square from the bar/restaurants and most of the rooms. The rooms themselves are very comfortable and stylish. Staff is extremely pleasant and courteous. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely consider it again in the future.

During our holiday in Canada, airlines had lost our luggage. We came to New York with no hope of finding the suitcase. No one knew where it was or whether it could be finded. After arriving at the Novotel Times Square we met a very nice woman working at the hotel reception. Her name is Lorena. She turned out to be our hero. It not only acted like it was her lost suitcase, but also showed great initiative in regaining our property. She saved our holidays! For the first time in my life we met such a dedicated and amazing hotel employee. We are more than satisfied after our visit to this hotel! I fully recommend holidays in a place where employees are always ready to help and make a pleasant visit to New York.

We had a room at the top level and the views are magnificent.
The service is fine for the price we paid.

Currently staying at this hotel — booked a high floor room as this is a special trip away for my partner’s first time to the USA — I am a platinum member of the Accor loyalty program so assumed would be allocated a high floor etc — much to my disappointment allocated on the lower floors — when mentioning to the front desk their approach was to argue the room they had allocated with time square views (between buildings) was an excellent room allocation — in the end I walked away as it was pointless discussing with them. The room itself is ok the location of the hotel is excellent — very close to time square. Quite possibly we are spoilt in Australia as being a member of their loyalty program equates to outstanding service — you feel like you are being looked after — sadly this was not evident at the Novotel Times Square — would not return.

Expensive food of middling quality, but we wanted some kind of view and hadn't booked anywhere in advance. It was easy to get in on a weekday evening so we went for it. The view was decent (for being times square) and it was nice to get out of the crowded streets for awhile. I'm usually good about catching it when this happens, but they asked if we wanted sparkling or still water (we asked for still) then brought out bottled instead of tap — remember to ask for tap if you don't want to pay for the bottle. IMO this is a shady practice and this place wasn't fancy enough to justify it. Overall — tourist trap but it's quiet enough and we had no complaints about the food. It was pretty standard food you'll pay twice as much for (personal pepperoni pizza and burger were each 21 dollars). Meh.

Rooms are small (typical for Manhattan I guess), lights in bathroom didn’t work. Good room service hours. Having arrived to hotel after 10pm, I was still able to order room service.

Hotel in good location, great breakfast buffet very nice terrace with views of time square. Terrace gets very busy in evening though because of bar at the terrace. Room was small, as was the bathroom. No coffee maker in the room, so I had to go to the lobby in the morning to get a cup of coffee, complimentary in the lobby. That’s why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. All high end hotels should have coffee makers in the rooms. I also wish they included bathrobes as well. But other than that, enjoyed the stay.

Very nice room. Great views. Super attentive staff, when I left for breakfast my room was always cleaned when I got back, even if only gone for an hour. My only issue is that I indicated that I would arrive earlier than the normal check in due to my flight (arrived at noon), and was told I could not check in until 2. I came back at 1:45 and was told that it would be 45 more minutes and to wait in the lounge, which I did. Finally at 3:10 I went back to the front desk to check and was told that my room was ready. Other than that, it's been a great stay so far.

Ideally placed. Side room if possible take option of the highest floors (we were at 25th already well and seen on Times Square. Little snag waiting at breakfast to find room more than table world.

Nice hotel, very good reception, comfortable bedding, clean, quiet room. The only problem from my point of view is the privatization of the terrace some evenings. I did not expect this otherwise the view is beautiful. The staff is very professional.

Very nice position is excellent for eating and strolling a few steps from the times square. The rooms are also very well the view of the 2003 is very classy as it overlooks the times square. I found the food acceptable and the staff very nice.

Just a 3 star hotel. Basic rooms renovated cheaply. Staff offer basic service even if higher Le Club status. Breakfast poor at best. Restaurant Staff very disengaged. Tables and floor dirty and cleaned poorly. We had breakfast included but started eating out instead. Gym hasn’t been renovated equipment very old.

Rooms are excellent. We were on the 30st floor. View is great and sound insulation is ok. My biggest negative point is the breakfast. You have to queue for getting a table (depend on hours). It's something that never ever happen to me in any hotel. Please Novotel… Find a way to fix it. A clue : maybe try to clean faster and communicate better. The 2 mornings 2 tables around us stayed empty for a while with dirty dishes only.

I liked the location of Novotel Times Square — although it is not located at Times Square. My room had a good view of the Times Square and was not too small. However, this is a hotel with very thin walls. I did not like the fact, that I could not only hear the toilet flush of my neighbors but also other noises from the next bathroom (I do not want to go into the creepy details). I was surprised to find leftovers from the last guest in the soap dish. Overall this hotel is okay, but only if it is a bargain. I paid way too much and got not what I normally get in a Novotel Hotel.

I got in principle one of the worst rooms (low and facing an air machine) having other best free ones. When I protested and asked for a change, I was moved to a better location. Unfriendly staff.

Great location. Very central to most of what NYC has to offer. Awesome staff. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms do what they're meant to do and are comfortable. I doubt you'd be disappointed with a stay in this hotel.

Comfortable and clean rooms with spectacular views. There is a gym, a bar/restaurant, a terrace with views of Times Square, a souvenir shop and an ATM to pick up. The staff is helpful and the lobby is cozy.

You will be impressed as soon as you walk into the lobby here. Ultra modern design makes you feel energized and ready to take on the city. There was a slight issue with our keys not working properly but was quickly resolved. It did seem to be an issue though with several other guests as well. View from our room was perfect as it overlooked time square. Located writhing waking distance to everything. Will definitely stay here again.

A place I will never forget! My boyfriend brought me to New York for the first time for my 26th birthday. We stayed at the Novotel and we LOVED IT! The hotel is gorgeous, AND it has amazing views. Did I mention they have a breathtaking terrace overlooking Times Square?! The service is superb and the drinks we had while lounging at their beautiful bar were delicious! Novotel, we'll be back!

French staff very nice. Beautiful view in the floor. Great location in the middle of Times Square. Very clean and well equipped room. Pleasant and effective maids. Small downside for the restaurant or the team in the room is not up to par with the rest of the hotel.

Excellent Hotel in the heart of Times Square One small downside the prices of the drinks and the prices of the exorbitant breakfasts… We were very well received the servers are very nice and warm they even have us to make dessert on two occasions for 3 people… so I highly recommend Novotel Times Square to spend a nice stay in the heart of Midtown.

We spent two days in New York. It was amazing. In addition to this, we stayed in the Novotel located in Times Square. Our room on the 29th floor was beautiful with a breathtaking view. The only downside is the very expensive breakfast.

Correct room. Nothing more. Nice view. But for this second stay: sink clogged, flushing failing, a find in the ground under the carpet and the icing on the cake: On my arrival the room was prepared and clean but there was a bottle of beer half-open on the desk… beautiful memory of the Cleaning staff!

The location of the hotel is top class. We had a great view of Times Square. The hotel is expensive as any hotel in New York. The room was not too large and the shower water was not properly expired. The staff is very very friendly. Most of all the cleaning staff.

Very nice and functional Hotel. It is very close to Time Square. The concierge is reached by lift. The room x breakfast is close to the elevators. The rooms are very large and clean. The bathrooms are also very large. Everything modern and kept in a flawless way. The cleanliness is on the agenda all one splendor. From the terrace you see very well Time Square. Being in Midtown Manhattan you have all the amenities, subway around the corner. The quality however you pay.

The room was clean and nice. Hallways were clean. Elevators were quick. Food available at restaurant until late at night. The staff was friendly. I felt safe walking alone on the street the hotel is located as well.

Loved our stay here. Room was spacious and had every thing we could need. Linen was changed daily and we loved the roof bar overlooking times sq. Staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Will stay again when next in NYC.

Super Hotel with top location. Service is great. Rooms are large and clean. Location is right on Time Square retiring to take an upgrade to the upper floor overlooking the time square! Nice restaurant right there.

Overall, I'm giving it 4 out of 5 because the view in 1104 was excellent for We were supposed to have a king room with a sleeper sofa, but ended up with a double beds room instead. The room confusion goes back to our travel agent, not Novotel. The service was great and everyone was very accommodating, except for once. The hotel had a "fire emergency" when we were returning, after a day out and about, and the elevators/ lifts were out of service. We were given the option to use the stairs, which we began to take, until we found out we would have to climb 7 stories — someone had bad knees. We returned to the street level lobby entrance and asked if we could have a seat while we waited for everything to be over. The man who had told us to take the stairs raised his voice at me and stated, "Why?! You said you were taking the stairs! " At that point I responded with sarcasm, "Yeah, until we found out it was 7 stories to the lobby. " He responded, "Would be better if you didn't. " We marched off to Starbucks around the corner and waited for the fire trucks to leave while we enjoyed hot chocolate, in 12° weather, in a warm friendly environment.

Great location in NYC 52nd St/Broadway for Times Square and Broadway Theatres. Walkable distance to Central Park and subway station nearby. Clean and comfy bed & bathroom, just what you need. Outdoor bar/terrace with patio heaters with views towards Times Square. Would stay here again.

Room is much larger than we expected for NYC & very nice. Room service had a little hiccup but fixed everything quickly. Very impressed with service & staff! Will definitely be back!

Hotel is beautiful, but the staff was rude. The bar and restaurant was close each of the three day's I stayed, for private corporate Christmas parties. Leaving no place for a cup of coffee, glass of wine or a bite to eat. To appease me, they offered a cup of hot chocolate. And finally, I received a bouquet of flowers that wasn't delivered to my room. Not the amenities we paid for. And they call this first class? I don't think so.

We had a great stay with the family all week that we stayed there. Both the restaurant/bar and the room floor are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel is the best. Excellent location.

The hotel is well located we had a room overlooking Time Square. The price of breakfast is abused we got for 75 dollars for 2 I find it overpriced. One morning a housekeeper was rushing enough to make the room, it was even not 9am that she came home asking if she could make the room.

My first room backed up to the elevator bank and was noisy. I asked for a different room and was re-assigned. My new room was very quiet, and comfortable. I enjoyed a 2 night stay here without issues. The rooms were generously sized for NYC and everything was clean/in order. The restaurant is overpriced and the bar service was very slow. The front desk attendants are very responsive.

My husband and I only stayed one night to hangout with my parents who were visiting from out of town. We were delighted to hear you are a pet friendly hotel so we immediately took up my parents request to stay at the hotel with them. We were greeted by two very friendly and fantastic bell hops and checked in by the most lovely women named Stella. She was kind, knowledgeable and professional, my husband and I adored her charm. We will absolutely recommend friends and family to stay at The Novotel.

The rooms were very nice and the room was very small.
The terrace and the cafeteria very nice.
Things to improve:-breakfast good but monotonous; Lack of variety in the dishes overnight. You get tired of eating every day for six days.
-From the room (floor 11) You can hear, with the windows closed, the music of the hotel terrace until the wee hours of the morning (on the weekend).

The hotel facilities are great and rooms very comfortable but it is of course the staff that makes it all work and is from top to bottom the case! It is pricey but well worth the money! The pleasure that you get from the stay is just unbeatable! The breakfast is magnificent in it’s on right but the view from the breakfast room just makes it unbelievably good! Even after several stays there is always the sad feeling of having to leave for the “real world”! ’ This time was really special as we had to cope with a personal loss but the Novotel certainly helped a lot and we thank them for that enormously! We’ll be back soon I hope!

Very pleasant stay. The staff are very professional, very polite and helpful. The rooms are very clean and functional. The location of the hotel is really great.
Possible improvements: Make an effort on the quality of the coffee at breakfast and give the possibility to take an espresso without additional cost. Also make an effort to obtain better croissants. The rest of the breakfast is perfect.

A beautiful room in height with a breathtaking view of Broadway and Times Square. You just had to make sure to pull the curtains well so as not to be dazzled by the hotel's luminous sign. It just lacked a large enough closet. Great memory.

Great location The hotel was very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge of Alsatian origin, very helpful and competent, answering all the questions, reservations and taxi to the airport.

We have stayed here before. Everything satisfactory to very satisfactory. Good check-in people. Room fine except, there were four of us. I thought at least we would have queen beds but we had two doubles which were pretty tight for 4 adults. Beds and bedding were comfortable though. Guests should be told about getting their parking tickets stamped for excellent discount at the garage. I had to walk back to have it done.

The receptionist and the room were very nice. All clean.
The bad things were the experiences in the breakfasts. Wait more than 15 minutes in line, the garzones running and bad humorados, bad attention there. Good breakfast.

The staff were very nice and at little care with us. The room was spacious enough. The restaurant is good quality and the breakfast a real pleasure to get down take it. The view on the terrace is breathtaking.

Bathrooms are extremely small and there is very little closet, drawer, and counter space in actual room which is also quite small. Ice maker on our floor didn't work, no coffee pot in room, large tiles on shower floor were very slippery, only 5 hangers in closet, and no top sheet on bed so you could either sleep under a much too warm duvet or nothing. Many areas of the hotel were also dark and gloomy. One positive, the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

The room we were assigned was overall nice but the cleanliness was very poor. The breakfast of quality poor and served in a nice setting but the cleanliness of the tables and chairs and very poor to the point of getting dirty every day the clothes, the staff and little inclined to the relationship with the public.

My partner and I stayed here last year and it was the most pleasant hotel and visit. As we arrived, we were greeted in the most friendly manner by the hotel staff and the room was just as you see it on the pictures — perfect! The location is amazing, we had a view of Times Square from our room and could also see it from the hotel balcony which was a nice social spot. There were plenty of food places around and local shops so you have everything you need right under your nose. Overall, it was a great stay and this is the only hotel I would stay at in New York. Can't wait to visit again.

We spent five nights in New York, then were in several cities around, and before we got back on the plane, we spent 1 night in Novotel New York. The hotel is very good, pity that for a room of 4 we only had, only 3 towels each. The bathroom/toilet, is tiny, as well as the beds. Too bad, especially at 400, 000 a night. On the other hand, the breakfasts are very good, certainly the best of all our stay in the USA and Canada.

Oh my gosh! My husband found this hotel on the internet, and of course when he mentioned it, I looked it up too. We chose it based on location (Times Square) and the offer of the free breakfast. However, our experience was so much more those two things. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We were able to check in a little early, and our room had an amazing view of Times Square. I appreciated the firm mattress and the wonderful rain shower (great water pressure). I also liked that the room was quiet. We had a yummy dinner in the restaurant our first night (try the vegetable stew with the couscous), and enjoyed an after-dinner drink on the outdoor patio. My husband and I both agreed that if we ever come back to NY, we would stay here again! I highly recommend a stay here, if you are planning a trip to NYC.

From the moment we walked into the novotel it has been amazing. The staff have all been polite, welcoming and friendly. Our room was beautiful and clean and the facilities within the hotels were second to none. Breakfast and dinner was perfect and the view is out of this world! Our experience In New York has been amazing. We will be back next year! We couldn't have asked for more! This is the city that never sleeps!

I stayed here for business. The front desk/receptionists were extremely friendly and fluent in more than one language! Similarly, the bellmen were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and mine had a mini-fridge, which was a nice amenity. The fast experience and ease of traveling made me want to stay again! I would recommend this hotel to people looking for an easy and quick stay in Times Square.

It is already the third time I stay in this beautiful hotel with breakfast superlative, only flaw the queen beds are smaller than usual than the US standards, otherwise everything OK as always.

For our second visit to the metropolis I chose the same Hotel and the same room, room with spectacular view over Time Square, giant bed and next to an additional bed/sofa, fridge, safe etc.
Clean room, towels are replaced every day if needed, bathroom products.
Breakfast, booked from home and the Council (in hotel costs $21 per person), there is everything sweet and savory, bread, brioche, juices of various kinds… with in addition immense stained glass on Time Square with the possibility to make it outside.
Luggage and taxi service, 100m from the Metro, in the city center convenient to every visit of the attractions of the metropolis.

I can't speak to the hotel, but I've been to the rooftop bar many a time and really enjoy it here! The views are amazing and for the area, the drinks are reasonably priced. You can't go wrong with any of the bar food items either. If the weather isn't cooperating, the inside is also nice — good vibe!

We frequently stay in NYC, and decided to stay at Hotel Novotel New York Times Square. The staff was professional and kind, the room well laid out — spacious for the square footage, and quiet! We would definitely recommend HNNYTS, and stay there again.

Love this hotel. First time it was being done up but still nice. Last year all finished and was fantastic. Going again this year.

So many great things about this hotel. Everybody was super friendly from the doormen, front desk, bartenders, and even the housekeeping ladies. The aroma upon entering is intoxicating and relaxing. Room was spotless with a very modern feel. Great location in Times Square and close to subway. Wonderful beds and no city noise at all. I normally stay only at Hilton but am so glad I tried the Novotel. It was an experience not just a hotel.

The staff was excellent with my family and I. I would stay again and next time bring my friends to have a great time, I mean my family did the best we could do considering we were in for a funeral. Over all outside! Thank you.

Absolutely out of this world! Took my family into the city to celebrate my daughter's sweet 16! The staff was 1st class! From security to front desk to house keeping. All aces! The atmosphere inside the lobby is electric. Video games for the kids, picture kiosk for capturing the memory and computer work stations to stay in touch. The restaurant "Supernova" is tops! They had my reserved table by the window. We had a breath taking view of Times Square at dinner. The food was amazing! The waiters were always there, asking if we needed anything. We loved the attention. The room was spotless. Very comfy for my girls. Beds were soft and the view. Awe inspiring. Bathroom was sparkling! Rain shower head! Ordered room service at midnight. Was up to our room in 20 mins. Location is perfect. Parking garage 100 yards away from front door. I can't say enough great things about this hotel. We are definitely not high rollers. But this hotel made us feel like we were! It was a perfect weekend.

Went here for an event and their event space was AWESOME. The food and wine were on point and the staff was amazing. The elevator was slow but I am sure it's an awesome place.

My wife and I always stay at the Novotel when we visit New York City (NYC). We love the theater and the hotel's location is right off Times Square in the heart of the theater district. The rooms are clean, well kept, and competitively-priced for NYC. Motif is Danish modern. Security is excellent. You take an elevator from street level to the main lobby which is on the second floor; that elevator does NOT go to any other floors. Visitors must pass the reception desk before they can reach a separate bank of elevators that take you to the upper floors where guest rooms are located. Someone was thinking here. Restaurant is on the second level just beyond the reception desk. Food is good but the view of Times Square is better. If necessary, wait to get a window table. Piano bar between reception area and the restaurant is contemporary and music level enables quiet conversation. I recommend this hotel to my friends and I do to you.
