The restaurant is overpriced. We ordered a bottle of wine and was given a half bottle of opened wine. Then when we sent it back we got the wrong wine. We were never told of last call and tried to order another. Our food
Was so salty we couldn't eat it. The margarita was not a margarita. I'm a bartender I know my drinks. We were given the wrong check. Couldn't order dessert either. Atmosphere was beautiful. However just the bar situation was way too much. We were out celebrating my son's birthday. No stars at all for this place.

This is a great hotel! Very cool art and the restaurant is very pretty. My room had two full baths and the staff was fantastic. I will be back for sure!

The staff were very friendly and offered tons of suggestions of things to do in area.

They charge my card whatever they want to charge when I leave!
And when I called to the staff they said they can’t solve the problem and hang out the phone!
And when I check in I paid $1700 to the front desk,
Said it will refund me on my card, but they didn’t!

Cold in room heat don’t work the restaurant was ice cold as well and gave us the wrong room it was just not worth it lucky I was with my husband that’s what made it special.

Rooms are tiny but the hotel is very nice and in a great area. Restaurant and bar are beautiful but we didn’t eat there because we had other plans. Lobby bar was very nice and had a great guitar player who sang as well.

This location is trendy and cool and under other circumstances I would rate 5 stars. My first experience wasn't so great. My reservation was lost and resulted in my bill being more expensive because it appeared that I didn't have a reservation. However, I presented a printed copy of my confirmation along with a reservation # to the hotel representative, but it was not taken into consoderation. I would have appreciated my stay and the hotel more if the original price of my stay was honored. Since I'm not sure who's most responsible — travel agency or hotel — I am still giving my experience with NOMO another try.

I stayed with my family in the Hotel Nomo Soho and I had a really good time.
Rooms are spacious and clean. In the room there was a smartphone with unlimited internet calls that was very useful to us to tour the city. Great location, close to all the best nyc shops.

Great place and great views from a corner penthouse of Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan bridge, etc. The decor was modern, but in a weird way. Sort of like an 80s music video. The staff was very nice and helpful, but we had to go down to talk with them twice after a few unanswered calls to the front desk. Our porch wasn't big, but enough for us to eat dinner out there. Two chairs and a table, and it was super private except if the main penthouse above us was hovering over us at that very moment. Pretty romantic. The restaurant downstairs is pretty chic and romantic too with awesome tea lighting and a garden party effect.

I love this hotel, the beautiful green archway entry, the fragrance in the foyer, the complimentary phone for usage during the stay, the amazing views from level 19. The best was the service provided by JEFFREY at the front front desk, I was in NYC for the first time for my 40th and he guided me throughout my stay and also stored all my items safely after I checked out. Nothing was too much trouble for him. There were two girls on internship who were fabulous too. Thank you so much for making my stay special. I would definitely stay here again❤️

We stayed for 1 night after staying at another hotel. This hotel is our perfection for couples or singles wanting to have fun and like the finer things in life. The room was great. The king bed was soft, and there was space to walk around. The bathroom shower kept spilling water outside of the shower but I'll be nitpicking. Overall, we had an amazing stay.

It’s very difficult for me to put stars on this rating because I have no other SoHo area hotels to compare against. I’m wondering if the downtown area is just another beast than mid or uptown when it comes to service… I should think not but I found it to be so.
I loved the look and feel of the hotel. They have all the makings of a five star facility, they are just falling short on service over and over. Maybe they just don’t know how to appropriately staff the waves of peak busy times in the hotel. They get things done but a day late and a dollar short after guests are aggravated over waiting or asking repeatedly. Service is missing. It could be so great. The place is hip and trendy — just come at off peak times and check in and out at off peak hours, have no requests or needs for the front desk, valet, bell hop and you should be fine. Planning a special occasion here was quite a challenge for me. They were just way to busy to even answer the phone at the front desk 75% of the time… such a shame — great potential.

Came for brunch without reservations, which apparently they recommend. Ordered hanger steak and eggs, which was excellent. Hanger steak was served rare as requested with excellent char exterior. Fingerling potatoes were amazing. Service was excellent. Interior decor and ambiance is a big draw here with its all glass ceiling.

Deco very years 2000: a little bling bling, bcp of mirrors, blue, it shines…! The room was clean and comfortable. On the 17th floor the view is splendid. Location in the middle of SoHo.

Not sure how this qualifies as a 5-star hotel. It was comfortable and clean, but a little on the small side. I guess I’m just not used to New York, I hear most hotel rooms are relatively small. The food at the restaurant had great food. The service was decent but nothing outstanding. I’d actually probably give it 3.5 stars especially when considering how expensive the room was.

Delicious Brunch, portions not exaggerated, you have to book or otherwise register at the acceptance because you can not sit at the table freely! Beautiful and special Environment with the glass ceiling and outside seating surrounded by greenery!

This was a lovely hotel. I moved right in and had relaxed while on my business trip. Room service is pricey but I expected that when in NYC. That said, the food was delivered promptly and was delicious. The staff were courteous and helpful. My A/C stopped working and they had it back in order while I was out at dinner. No complaints! I'd happily stay there again.

Stayed a few nights here. Pretty small room but that's par for the course in this city, and it was very nicely appointed. Great view! Excellent service. I brought my cat and they were very accommodating. Will stay again.

The food was delicious. If you like Egg Benedict, well this place is the place to go. The music was a bit to loud for my taste but overall. Great vibe.

They were overcrowded and couldn’t do the check-in on time, my room was not ready so they gave me another room. I don’t know if it’s a new yorker style to be, but the staff was far away to be friendly. Next day they moved me to the room I was supposed to have and I have no complaints after that. Unbelievable view. Shower omg it’s amazing! Nice room. Nice service. Super cool restaurant downstairs, and in the end of the story, positives were way above than negative. Group of 8 people, 4 rooms booked on Booking with payment managed by the property, we arrive at the hotel at 10pm after 10 hours of travel, after two minutes of loss we realized that the reception was on the first floor, we climbed, we presented documents and Credit/Debit cards… At the first swipe of the card (Visa credit) The payment goes KO, the reason? Do not have a terminal POS but the payment figure as a semi-online transaction and Nexi I lock the card for security… In 5 minutes I call the customer service and I do unlock, I provide the credit card to the receptionist and try again: this time was accepted, me by my card and I look for other friends.
Two seconds later, immediately after the payment of the second room, always paid by credit card Nexi (Visa credit) issued by the same bank but headed to another person, I receive the SMS alert payment with the amount of €2750, wait what? €2750? 3400 bucks? How is that possible? Booking tells me I have to pay $1800 + taxes and services for a total of 2100 dollars + $100 bail per stay but I get 3400 USD authorization? I ask the young lady and I liquid explaining that is the bail, but it does not come back to me because the payment of the second room amounts to €2400, about 3000 dollars, although the type of room (King Deluxe) is the same for all 4 bookings.

Hotel on a street that is not on any tourist map. And the cold is in the mind!

Beautiful view from the Windows. In general, for New York worthy of the big numbers. The staff is moderately friendly. The cleaning leaves much to be desired. But the location is perfect.

5 * With very small rooms and a ridiculous bathroom. Beautiful structure for an aperitif, well equipped gym but no other comfort. A 3 * Italian in a convenient neighborhood of new York halfway between downtown and Central Park.

We had a room on the 23rd floor and a corner room. Great view and very courteous staff. Room was cozy and love that we could open windows. Ate lunch there and it wasn't bad but don't see us going back. Great location and I wish I could pack the shower and take home with me.

GREAT HOTEL, ill definitely will come back soon. The room are comfortable and The view is amazing! Also the location is perfect. The stuff is always nice and polite, they will help you with any questions or request. And I cant forget The restaurant, the food there it’s really really tasty! Overall — the vibes are amazing highly recommend :)

Went here for brunch. The entrance to the place is stunning and the natural light in the restaurant is fabulous. The service was very good and there is a great menu. The food was good but for new works standards it could be better. Overall though I would come again.

Nice hotel, marred by a few service issues. I stayed for three nights. I showed up around midnight there first night and my room was cold and the heater wasn't warm. I called down and they sent up maintenance, who fiddled with it and convinced me it was warming up even though I didn't really feel it. He left, I went to sleep. Woke up around 4am freezing come under the blankets. I had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. Then, the next day they didn't clean my new room. In retrospect, I should have insisted on a new room right away, but they also should have offered it since I had just checked in.

I had an absolute WONDERFUL time! Chris (the concierge) helped me start my day in the most lovely/quaint cafes in the area. The hotel was as beautiful as the pictures you see on the website.

I paid $150 to attend the Nomo Soho New Years Eve party. The venue was nice and the service was great UNTIL — we had to Check our coats upon entering. This took 40 minutes and was an extreme inconvenience. The biggest disappointment, however, was the coat check upon departure. I got in line to retrieve my coat at 12:15am and waited until after 3:00AM to retrieve it! The coat check was so slow and disorderly that several fights broke out and they shut off the door to receive costs for long amounts of time over the 2+ hours we waited. It is an embarrassment for any hotel and event of this caliber (and price) to handle a detail such as coat check so poorly that guests are waiting over hours to get their jackets and leave. I am disappointed to say that this undoubtedly spoiled a decent evening. I will never return to this venue and no one I know will either. Overall, this was an awful experience.

Very trendy hotel. Loved the room. I wish the heat was easier to work. It took a while before the room finally heated up. Not a bad place to stay in NYC for a night.

Very nice hotel but not 5 stars because the bathrooms are real garbage and you have to wait at the elevator about 10 minutes until you get down.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My friend booked the penthouse over a month in advance of NYE to celebrate the New Year and her birthday. (We had a bunch of friends flying out from different parts of the country to come to NYC to celebrate. ) She paid in full (over $2600 for one night) and called the hotel to confirm her reservation. Now, with 2 weeks before NYE, she received an email from Michael, the Director of Revenue, that due to unforeseen circumstances, he cancelled her reservation… Immediately my friend tried to call Michael, but was unable to reach him until he decided to call her THREE days later after he sent the cancellation email. He made up some excuse that there were issues with the scaffolding that needed to be fixed right around the time of NYE. This is definitely BS. Furthermore, he did not offer to provide a comparable alternative room or comp us for the penthouse for a different night. The customer service for NoMo Soho is completely unprofessional and ridiculous. My friends and I are now scrambling to find a NYE alternative, and because NYE is less than 2 weeks away, we aren't able to find anything comparable to what we originally paid for a month ago. I would NEVER recommend staying at this hotel unless you want them to cancel your reservation and screw you over. Thanks nomo soho for ruining everyone's plans.

It's clean, but basic. No coffee facilities in the rooms and I swear that whoever designed the bathroom has never used one before. The shower only has on or off, no pressure control and sprays directly out the shower cubicle (thereby flooding the entire bathroom). Also, watch your bill closely. They tried charging us for minibar usage, even though we had the minibar emptied when we checked in!

This hotel is not 5 stars as they put in booking. The attention is lousy. They charge you the shampoo and the soaps! And a tea that they serve in Bobby without telling you and the one that I never consumed. It is very expensive for the services they provide. I don't recommend it at all. The rooms are extra small. The one that touched us had the broken rug. All lousy. Very decorated but terrible everything. Don't come!

Excellent kitchen for lunch and dinner. The entrance has beautiful botanical arch way that is pretty unique. The food is excellent. The hotel is trendy and modern too.

I love this hotel!
It is very nicely decorated and everything is kept in blue white, which looks very nice.
It also seems to be a hotspot for young people, because downstairs in the bar is always a lot of business. You can also have a nice breakfast there.
The hotel has a very strong smell, which I find very tasty. The only downside is that the sink is not in the bathroom, but in the normal bedroom (at least that was with us in the room so).

It looks good, it smells good but it's. Just okay. The room is pretty bare bones in that it has none of the amenities you'd expect today. The TV is outdated and finding anything to watch is a long process of flipping channels. There's no way to turn your lights off from the bed. You have to get up and turn them off at different points in the room. The plugs near the bed are all facing the mattress so chances are if you move while you sleep, they will unplug. That's if the maid hasn't disconnected your charger so that your alarm doesn't go off in the morning because it didn't charge. The shower has a curtain, so good luck not flooding the bathroom. Also, what's with placing the toilet rolls behind the toilet. Lastly, he noise isolation is terrible, you will hear every door opening and closing in the hallway…

Stay Away! Worst Customer Service! Ignored signs of molds! Woke up 3 days with headaches, on the third day, I found that the whole carpet in the closet next to my bed was flooded with water from bathroom. After practically begging they moved me to another room, and to compensate me for feeling sick, the manager Monique offered me a breakfast. What an insult! If you paid me, I wouldn't sleep in that soggy room. Don't buy their act, they don't give a # their customers.

We had drinks at the bar. They have a very nice outdoor area to sit in, but you cannot have alcohol outside. This is a good place to have A drink. But there are way better options a block or two away.

I love this hotel. The interior is modern and luxury. It is located near Canal St. Station. You can drink free coffee in the morning on ground level. The room was clean and the view of my room was also good. And all of staffs and managers are soooo KIND! If I come to NY again, I'll stay here.

Stayed at this hotel over a weekend. The title reads room with a view, but all I could see from our window was a brick wall. This is the smallest hotel room I've ever been in. The bathroom is extremely tiny as well. And I'm not a huge person, I'm of average build. If you're not careful while turning, you will hit the table or bed in the bedroom and the wall in the bathroom. They will stock up wine you may never use, but will not stock up body wash and shampoo and you have to call up and remind them to do so. It was too pricey for such a small room with poor service. And the restaurant downstairs is so limited in the number of food items they provide. I would not recommend this to anyone trying to have a pleasant stay at NY or trying to look at reasonably priced hotels.

The hotel was great! Super hip and modern! We booked through the app hotel tonight and got a sick deal. Then when we were checking in close to 3am… Our concierge Isaiah, was super friendly and informative. He also upgraded our room to a higher floor with a king sized bed and more SQ ft. It was a great experience!

Rooms are small (but par for the course in NYC). It's in a great location in Soho — really convenient if you plan to spend most of your time in downtown Manhattan. Within walking distance of great cafes and bars so I wouldn't bother with the hotel restaurant which is expensive. They offer complimentary coffee in the morning too.

Great location, close to shopping, bars and restaurants. The in house restaurant and bar is fantastic and stunning. The color scheme in the rooms is a bright blue and white that is both beautiful and relaxing. Room was chic, great view and very comfortable. Loved this place.

U go there for style, environment, and because is trendy, I liked the place a lot and I would definitely go again, however not for dining. My ravioli dish was 4 pieces only. I had to order a second dish and was all extremely salty yesterday.

Nice hotel and got a good rate — despite stylishness seemed to have quite a few business travelers. Room was comfortable, bathroom small but adequate. Everything was clean. Room was brightvat night but quiet (bring eye mask). Restaurant adequate if expensive for breakfast, good options nearby for dinner.

Stylish place and conveniently located, but the service was mediocre at best. The first night I arrived around 1am and they put me in someone else's room! Fortunately that dude must have been a partier, since he wasn't in the room, but his stuff was! Ooooff. Not a great way to kick off a trip to NYC.

I had my wallet pickpocketed on my last day in the city and the staff helped me out tremendously afterwards. They were extremely attentive and sympathetic to the situation and went above and beyond. I couldn't recommend them enough and it's a level of care I've rarely seen in the industry.

The dining room was beautiful and service was great, however, however the food was pretty disappointing. Fish was too fishy and the pasta was very mediocre, nothing special.

Not pleased at all for a 4-star hotel. First and foremost, the rooms are fairly small. The bed pillows are just absolutely awful but the bathroom amenities and the room service was up to par. The hotel has 2 entrances which makes locating an uber a bit of a hastle. Lastly, and perhaps the most frustrating thing was that the room keys we were given stopped working 2 hours before check out time which obviously caused a bit of an inconvinience. Also forgot to mention the breakfast at the restauraunt is pretty dissapointing. We were aware that the check in time at the hotel was 3pm however after a long flight we arrived at 2pm. We were told that we can leave our luggage there and we will have to come back in 1 hour, which we understood. We came back to be told that the room was still not ready, the young lady behind the reception desk was trying to give us a 'better' room as it was a request made by my husband for my birthday. However, she told us to take a seat and will inform us when a room is ready. We sat there waiting patiently but the girl behind the desk disappeared, we were so tired and just wanted a room! It was now 4pm when my husband went to enquire at the reception desk, the women behind the desk was SO RUDE and didn't take into consideration we had been waiting and then we were told the girl went on lunch! The service was horrible! If we hadn't gone up to enquire we would have just sat there. The women didn't offer us an apology but made it sound as if it was our fault! Once we got inside the room it was clean but it wasn't anything special. No toothpaste, toothbrush, sewing kit and no dressing gown! The room offered us bare minimal and the Wi-Fi reception in the room was terrible, We had to go to the lobby each time!

Trendy SoHo hotel has all the makings of an awesome experience. I'd recommend this one to anyone planning to spend their day shopping in SoHo, with a possible detour into NoLIta and Chinatown for some good eats. It's conveniently located close to public transportation. Service is top notch through and through.

Beautiful hotel Not great on service, but evidently its New York. Had to wait to check in while one receptionist played the role of concierge to guests while checking in parties in front of us. She never stopped to have someone else come to the desk to help. Evidently its ok for the guests to wait for the staff. No excuse for lax management.

Wish I could give this place negative stars… hotel itself was decent, but the staff are incompetent and uneducated. A/C didn't work in the room (82 degrees inside while it was 70 degrees outside), the shower was broken and then I was overcharged $100 on my bill with no reasoning. After disputing the payment with my cc company and not letting these sorry crooks get a penny, I will leave a horrible review on every site, including BBB, until they get new management and the POS night manager dies or gets fired.

Spectacular! Hotelazo in all senses. With a bar-restaurant is an Oasis of glass in the middle of New. Brutal!

The worst dinner since we've moved into NYC. A scene, which we love, the place is pretty. Had a good vibe. I ordered a raspberry Bellini that came thick and pulpy, didn't care for it and ordered a champagne cocktail. Party of 6…we ordered every app for the table. Small menu, but the selections looked good. Portions teeny, yellowtail dry, buratta disappointing, kale caesar delish. Main courses were an absolute nightmare…steak was full of fat with a black greasy slime of a topping. The salmon was jellied. I have to say…I have not been so shocked by a meal. Everything was awful. Even the desserts were disappointing. We will stick to STK Meatpacking, Scarpetta, ZUMA and the like. We don't mind $$$$…but $686.00 for this… I think not! Never again.

Boutique hotel set in a quiet location within Soho. The rooms are very nicely decorated and have a “new” feel to them (even if they are on the small side). The restaurant food is OK but given the location there are much better places within a 10 minute walk.

The downstairs restaurant is gorgeous. The entire roof is glass, so there is a lot of soft natural light. Great place to meet friends and clients.

The food is good but a bit overpriced. Great place for a drink or to impress a date.

Very clean, new, comfortable, tasteful simple deco, toilet is so big — could even fit in 1 addition single bed. Located near train stn and Strategically 2min away from busy main road — quiet peace plus good convenience. A small convenient store just around the corner to get the same mini bar items at a third the price.

Bobo crazy atmosphere. Staff rude and permanent representation (selection at the Abercrombie? ). It fits with the customer off show. To run away if you're looking for authenticity, a smile or simply a room where you can open her suitcase. Yet, I liked the sight of a corner suite on the top floor, the location in the heart of SoHo and the canopy of the Isola Trattoria, the (top bobo also) restaurant of the hotel.

Really small rooms but well decorated. The bar and the hotel restaurant are really great. Expensive for food, but great for drinks and an awesome ambiance. They also have wheelchair access to their restaurants / rooms which is really great. The location is really close to the fashion stores around the area which is good. The sodashop upstairs also has excellent views of NY so definitely go when the sun is setting.

The view is just amazing. We went there on a Sunday at 5PM. There was no line but the bouncer does the typical. — do you have an invite/resservation? I just said some friends were already waiting for me at the rooftop. Then somebody comes and escorts you to the elevator that has a bouncer as well who only checks if you have the stamp they put on your wrist at the entrance. I know all this is confussing but the view is totally worth it. Dress code? I noticed the dress code is something relaxed but totally fashion, shorts, short dresses, maxi dresses,. It was a hot day in NYC. Try to look posh and relaxed like those super stars/models candid photos in the magazines. And confidence! Always confident. There is no cover and drinks were around $15, they also have pizza and appetizers.

Great views and the decor is fabulous. It is convenient and easy to get to.

I enjoyed my week in NY in this hotel close to the broadway. In August 2012 it had iPads on each room which makes it easy for travelers to get round in NY. Room was large enough, with a safe, service was excellent, and the breakfast very good. Looking forward to my next stay in the hotel.

I choose Isola for a dinner with few of my co workers sometime back. This was my second time here but this was the first time I had food here. I had reserved the table and the hostess was nice, we got seated as soon as we came. One think one would notice is the sheer beauty of this place. They have some kind of glass art pieces in the middle of the dining area on the ceiling. Located inside Mondrian Soho this is one of the few places which a lot of people don't know about. There is bar outside the restaurant space and there is plenty of space to wait/chill in the lobby area if needed. Our server was super friendly and helpful. She explained us the menu in detail. We had few Stuzzi items. Started off with Talegio Focaccia, Olives and Baby Octopus, everything was delicious but I would pick Talegio as my favorite. My red wine was also good. Server recommended few wines which pair well with our food. For the main course I had the Pollo Al Mattone which is chicken which is cooked under the brick and is served with some greens. My co workers had Fettucini Aragosta, rib eye and monkfish. The chicken was very well seasoned and the brick technique made it look like a pressed chicken, it was succulent and meat was falling off the bones. Really liked my main course. My co workers also liked thier main courses. For dessert I had tartufo which was delish too. Overall really liked the place and food. This is a great spot for business dinner or for a date.
