Liked the staff services and the bed, specially the big one. The hotel is friendly and it offers a nice breakfast until 10am. The only thing I missed was a room service for nights I was tires to go out to have a dinner or a tea before bed. Bathrooms were excelente, loved the shower and the cosmectics and towels they provide. There was an issue with my key card and I’ve had to ask for they recharge my door battery, but that’s all. In general was a nice experience and I’d come back.

This Hotel is an entire vibe! Extremely nice and helpful staff, food and happy hour is amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

The worst hotel. Rooms are small and noisy. Staff unhelpful. They are more about chatting with each other then clients. The elevator doors closed on me! Good thing I am not a small child. Not close to Time Square. The neighborhood is a little sketchy at night. The. At lounge chairs have stuffing come out of them. Service in the lounge is non existing!

Such a cool hotel Very modern and clean.

It’s day 1 of our 3 night stay and this place not only has an ADORABLE atmosphere, the staff has been nothing short of friendly and kind. We are here to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday. All I did was mention the nature of our visit when I booked our stay and they went the extra mile with some cute decorations and a sweet note on the mirror to make it a little more special❤️. Thank you, moxy nyc times square!

The customer service was top notch. The aesthetic was amazing. The room was comfortable and a good use of the space. The luggage room needs some organizational thought though. Overall, it was a great stay.

This place is loud and the people it attracts is funny. Our first night there a lady downstairs got arrested for punching an elevator. It was noisy all night and stopped maybe 5am. The room is small and a double isn’t a double bed it’s one bed.

I had a great experience. The hotel is very modern very few furniture mostly designed like Ikea furniture. It's clean it smells great. You must provide your covid vaccine to get in. Dining at the rooftop was extra special because we're able to look at all the tall buildings lit up the evening. The music was pumping I was dancing along with a family member and we had a great time period!
(I must add that it's a little difficult gettit's difficult getting onto the elevator because you have to use your room key, to turn on your TV You have to use your room key as well)

Rooms were great, bar was beautiful. The vibe was amazing. Lots to do for fun.

I started my check-in experience by leaving my I-pad at the front desk. I returned and the staff had already put it up. I was grateful. I love how attentive the staff was. Also very friendly and accommodating. Our suite is clean and modernize.

Stood here 2/24 to 2/28… the hotel is super cute! It was a girls trip so we got the 4 bunk bed room. It worked out perfectly. The room was a decent size for New York. The women staff and the door guy was amazing. The hotel is in a perfect location. Right next to 42nd street, and the Manhattan mall. Transit was just up the street, and getting a cab was easier than expected. We had many food options around which was great. I’m definitely booking again with Moxy. ( (Only downside to this hotel was that the bathrooms are practically see-through. If you’re with your significant other then it’s whatever, but if you’re with just friends it may caused some uncomfortable moments) )

Our room was not very large, but it was not too small, actually a great size for 3 adults! They decorated it with some great solutions!
The bathroom was beautiful!
Breakfast was ok, same breakfast everyday, but the quality was good! The restaurant looks good! The rooftop bar was great! With beautiful views on the Empire State Building and some surrounding streets!

Went there for my birthday last year…
It was wonderful the staff at check in were so nice I checked in late in the night/morning but they were very welcoming, the bar staff not so friendly but I guess it has its clientele…
My room was nice and cozy…
The bed and the pillows I just wanted to take it home with me it was so comfortable…
The duvet plush and warm…

Loved are stay here it was for my daughters 16th birthday present and when we arrived they had balloons and a small gift for her. I cant thank Moxy and all the staff enough for making are stay amazing. Thank you Moxy and all the staff we will be back ❤

LOVE this place! The rooms are on the smaller side but the atmosphere here is amazing. When you pull up and walk in you’d think you were going into a prime nightclub spot but it’s your hotel. I would definitely say this place is more for the younger, laid back guest but if you like music, great drinks and an upbeat vibe then this place is for you! We’ve stayed in the city quite a few times and this place is by far my favorite!

Very great location. Near Times Square and the subways. Never need and Uber except to get to the airport maybe. Nice rooftop bar and restaurant and 2nd floor bar. Rooms are small but very efficient. Hotel is very clean and modern and the service is the best. They even wait outside and open the door for you when they recognize you’re a guest.

Just stayed here with my daughter and loved it. We will definitely be back. Clean rooms. Cute decor. Friendly staff. Great location with a lot of food choices and bodegas/pharmacy’s close by. Short walk to Times Square and Penn Station/Port Authority. We thought size of room was perfect and expected for New York. They make great use of space. You don’t feel cramped. We loved the set up and look of room. Our only complaint was the lighting (but that is extremely minor and not really worth the mention). It is literally the only thing I could think of that I would change. My daughter and I only noticed when we were putting on our makeup :). They have this really cool self help closet called “The Stash”. They have towels and lotion and shower caps. We were not told about this until we asked housekeeping for extra towels. We loved being able to get what we needed without the phone call and wait. We wish we had known should at check in because we forgot our lotion. We were super happy to find it when we did. It was so convenient! The check-in was great! Kiosk style. Usually I am not a fan of the self check-in because it can feel unwelcoming but that was not my experience. People still greet you and help you so there is still human interaction. The check-in and check-out were seamless. One last thing, Internet was strong. I teach an online class and if the internet is weak I will get a delay which makes it hard to teach. At home I actually use an Ethernet cord.

Great hotel. Close to Times Square but not too close. Close to several different subway lines. Lots of close food and great breakfast places. Staff was very friendly and the loft room is a great use of space.

So, I start this as someone who runs a cleaning services company. I was very impressed by the level of cleanliness of my room and impressed by the cleanliness of the public areas. The staff, including the reception staff, were polite and friendly. The room lived up to the website 'hype' — small as you expect from a New York hotel room — but well designed. It has a real 'boutique' hotel feel to it. I particularly appreciated the wall hooks to hang clothes from which meant that I could unpack all the necessary clothes I needed for my 7 night stay. The room was quieter than expected — I was on the 8th floor — and there was no appreciable external noise that disturbed me. I think the idea of having the 'Stash' rooms was excellent and very useful facility. The only negative really was the air conditioning in the room did not go below 68 degrees which was a bit disappointing given that I stayed during a heatwave.

Location; Excellent. Very convenient, Times Square was down the street but away from the hustle n bustle. Good food, good shopping, and transportation is right there! Penn station less than 5mins walk. Staff; Friendly. Helpful. I needed something printed, was done for me right away. Got assistance with directions and shuttle info. Rooms; very clean but they are small, not roomy but we expected that… we’re in NYC Times Square. Still had everything you would need to be comfortable. No microwave or fridge in room. Extra note; this is a busy hotel as there is a rooftop bar, seafood restaurant and a club.

Great boutique hotel with small, but comfy rooms. Despite being in the center of town, the hotel is quiet and well priced for what it is. You get a free drink at the bar as a welcome, and you can go up to the rooftop bar/club if you're into that kinda thing (hotel guests get easy access, so no waiting in line). We had the slightly larger room (queen) at the hotel, and found it was pretty well done. Not sure about the smaller rooms. Note: The hotel will charge/reserve $20 a night to cover incidentals and damages. This is refunded 3-5 days after the stay ends.

Great hotel and fantastic location, possibly the best hotel you can get in Manhattan. For a 3 stars, is better than its peers, and also better than 4 stars I have been to. Modern, clean, comfortable and very practical. You get what you see! I don't understand those reviews moaning about the size of the rooms or the noise. Some of them can be small, yes, but they tell you in advance. And I don't think it's noisy and if someone thinks it is, what can you expect from a place situated on one of the busiest business districts in the world? For a relax night sleep free 100% of noise you can go up state to the mountains… I give them 4 stars and not 4 because: There isn't a lack of elevators, 4 is not enough and sometimes the door closes before you get there. With so many people it also takes you to many different floors. If you want to go to the roof bar and you are a guess, they ask you to leave the hotel, enter the building through another door, which eventually takes you inside again and the doorman who told you to go out to the other entrance then let you go upstairs on one of the hotel's elevators. Very strange procedure. Anyway, very good 3 stars hotel, possibly the best you can get in Manhattan.

Beautifully designed hotel, excellent location and good customer service. My rating is mainly based on the music from the bar and the two alarms that went off (yes these are rare and isolated incidents, but it impacted the quality of my stay and put a damper on my overall experience). The music from the rooftop bar is loud as hell and goes past 2am. Yes, they give you ear plugs in your room to help ease the noise, but sleeping with earplugs is ridiculous. I wish I knew upfront how loud it was going to be because I would have chosen another Marriott hotel. Also only giving 3 stars because someone from the crew (staff) knocked on my door and called my room twice after midnight asking if I requested towels (I did not). I appreciate their persistence, but I was sleepy and wanted to be left alone. Oh, and the fire alarm going off the twice at 4:30am and my room safe malfunctioning and having to call maintenance was also a treat. That said, I'd stay here again if I was here to party or was here for leisure, but this is not the ideal hotel for a work trip and/or folks with small children.

We arrived with a reservation with credit card for a 4 bunk room. Room was not available, offered 2 queen rooms. We're to be moved into our reserved room the next morning. We were told our belongings would be moved by staff. We came back at night and our room wasn't ready then we had to move everything ourselves. Today we came back to out room at 8pm after a long hot day to find out room had not been cleaned but the tip we left was gone. Great concept and space, just poor management.

I have rarely stayed in such a hip Hotel, and it was totally in line with what I expect from the brand Moxy. Industry Look in the bathroom, storage possibilities under the bed, that was not even bad. Now the most beautiful Hotel, unfortunately, is of little value if I don't sleep well, and the two of you sleep very bad here unless you want to keep the whole night in the Arm or leaning in sleep against a wall. The air conditioning is known only to them, or according to why something still needs to be I don't know. Conclusion: travelling Alone, I would still be in the Queen Bed Room stay (Need the provided earplugs against the noise of the air-conditioning), second-I can only advise. Too bad.

The Design throughout the Hotel is impressive. The two-Meter-wide room, but not bigger. There is a lack of opportunities, that Luggage. The bed is not only too narrow but also too short. Above the bed of the outlet for the air conditioning, but it is much too loud to run all night. The Windows and doors are not soundproof; overall, everything is very noisy. As an Elite Member, you get Coins that you can redeem for a glass of champagne at the Bar. A nice idea. But due to the above reasons I would not stay here again.

Only the first night and impressed. Been to two in Germany and this one is quite more mature and together plus much larger. The ones in Germany were trying too hard to be "hip" and as a consequence missed some basics of hospitality. This one is much more organized. This is NYC so don't expect large rooms. The common spaces are well done, roomy and we'll attended by both guests and staff. Restaurants are owned/operated by Tao Group. See pics of Legasea. Overall I recommend it!

Really stylish Hotel on 7th Avenue. Mixed crowd which you have to say that the target audience are rather young people. It is always running cool music, the people at the reception are really nice. The Normal Breakfast consists of the best coffee in the world, Cherry Scones, Croissants, blueberry muffins, and some fruit. Alternatively, you can order something from the map … yogurt with blueberries, Oatmeal, eggs variationenen. Our room was really small, but practical and clean. You should know really well, since the toilet/shower by a milk let chiebetür is separated from the Rest of the room. Somewhat annoying is the lack of wardrobe is, but there are a Have on the complete wall or just the high bed to work :)
The Hotel is a super base for a trip to NYC.

Wonderful hotel near Times Square and the Garment District. Fun vibe in the lobby with games to play if you are waiting. Easy walking to many theaters. Rooms are clean and comfortable; the shower has amazing water pressure. And the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar is a treat you don't want to miss!

Staff is friendly. Design of the room is trendy. Great shower. Great bed. Tiny room but that's norm is Manhattan. Great location. Few minutes walk to times square. Good and groceries easily available around the hotel. Look out for Bread and butter restaurant near by. Good breakfast options.

The room was so small with a tiny double bed that was pushed up against a wall so you had to climb over the other person to get in or out no robe to put clothes in toilet and shower squashed in together no where to put your clothes while showing lift was different to use can’t push numbers from inside they apparently have a rooftop bar which as a paying guest I thought you would be able to walk in any time no have to line up with public no tourist information at night when checking in can’t hear staff over music from 2nd story bar the staff were nice to talk to but really weren’t up with information about New York it more like a up market backpackers as we arrived another guest greeted us by saying welcome to millennium hell.

If Google gave me the option, I’d give around 4.5 stars. I stayed here for a weekend with friends. It’s the only hotel I’ve seen with bunk beds as an option which worked perfectly for our group. The vibe of the hotel was nice (Millennial/Gen Z) oriented and the staff were attentive. The room was definitely small but that’s par for the course for Manhattan. The layout of the room could be better. There was an awkwardly placed television and the shower configuration resulted in a lot of water pooling on the floor. Pillows were a little flat. The sound bar you could connect your phone to, however, was very nice. I also appreciated the free drink token upon check in and luggage storage was convenient. I didn’t see the gym so I can’t comment on that. I saw some signs for cool activities like yoga. Overall, a solid hotel in a central location near all the bus and train drop offs at Penn Station perfect for a weekend with friends for 20-somethings. I would stay here again.

Great location, wonderful staff, lovely & clean, great place for the younger end, our room was not practical, opened the wardrobe door only to find it was a shower/toilet room, no sink, clothes had to be hung up on clothes hooks around the room, it was a double room but more suitable as a single room, luckily we are a couple but if I was with a friend it wouldn't have suited as no privacy & the sink was in a corner of the bedroom, a very trendy hotel but more suitable for the younger folks.

It is very nice Hotel, totally functional. Times Square can be reached on foot very quickly. The best part of the Hotel, the nice young people that are incredibly helpful and the Chef Christian. Thanks for a great stay. I would always book again. Thank you.

Just back from 5 nights at Moxy NYC. There was 5 of us staying in 2 rooms and we had a nice view of 7th Ave from room 534 (Double Double room). Having read some reviews of this hotel before I left, I wasn’t holding out much hope. However, I’m glad to say I was very pleasantly surprised. It feels really new, which I know it is. It has modern, contemporary design which we all loved. It also smells amazing in the common areas, I would love to know what scent that is? The rooms are small (It’s New York & space is at a premium, all rooms are small in NY) but well planned out. I loved the hooks for hanging clothes, bags, shopping etc. I loved the in-room tv’s with sound bars for watching music videos on YouTube. They also had Netflix etc for entertainment. I also loved the beds, they were super comfortable & the steamer for removing the creases from my clothes, caused in transit on our flight. The bathroom was fairly spacious and had a window which I loved. Downstairs the candy bar was amazing, lots of American Candy treats each day 3-7pm We slept well each and every night and all of the staff we met were very friendly and polite. They would welcome you when you entered and wish you good bye on leaving, nice touch. I loved the stash on each floor to grab extra pillows, blankets, towels, toiletries, irons etc. Very convenient. The only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars was 4 simple things. The water pressure in the bathroom was very poor.

Went here for New Year Eve 2017 going into 2018. We paid $275 for four hour free bar. They had about 3 bar staff on in each bar and had left in hundreds of people so drinks were impossible. For $275 I had 4 drinks, two of those were taken away by bar staff "accidentally" when tidying up. The coat room was full so we had to carry our coats all night. My friend lost hers! And to top it off the toilets for some stupid reason were unisex and so the queue for that was over 45 minutes long. They didn't televise Times Square as advertised. It pretty much seemed like they did everything they could to cause obstacles to stop you getting to the bar so you didn't get your money's worth. Even queueing for the elevators and when I asked to walk down the stairs I was told no! Absolute chaos of a night for such a reputable establishment. Would not go here again!
