We are currently here staying in room 1202 absolutely wonderful friendly staff amazing rooms so clean and has everything you need definitely come here again highly recommended.

The manager was very nice, I booked the wrong date by accident and she honored it for me for the price line price I! The rooms very clean, beds comfortable! They also let me check in a little early due to medical reasons.

We stayed here for a wedding in August. Only 2/3 elevators were working. They do have a sign to allow more time for elevators during busy times. On Sunday evening at 4:45, it took 55 minutes to get an elevator. After 25 minutes one did open and was occupied by an employee with dozens of trash bags. We asked to get in with him and he said no and shut the door. We waited 35 more minutes and one arrived with 3 more employees and house keeping carts. They also said they were full but we got in anyhow. We were on the second highest floor so walking the stairs was not an option in wedding attire. I understand the need for employees to also use the elevators but to have both working elevators fully occupied by staff for almost an hour was completely unacceptable.

We just checked out and I will say that the location was fabulous, but the rooms were not clean. Extremely disappointed.

Location is great, rooms are clean but dated. Could’ve used a blanket, didn’t ask either. Don’t wait for the elevator, takes waaaay to long. Friendly staff. Rooms with terraces need some privacy greens. Price was decent. Would recommend.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! This is my worst experience with a hotel so far. My husband and I booked a suite with a terrace. Our check in was for 3pm we showed up at 2:30pm and we were told our room would be ready for check in at 3pm. We came back at 3:10pm to check in we were told we couldn’t check in because they were cleaning our room. We then asked if could get a pass to park our car they said we had to wait til they had the room. We circled for another hour at 4pm we called to see if our room was ready we were told it was being cleaned. So we asked again to park our car they told us they would give us papers so we could park. We then called at 5:30pm to check in and were told our room still wasn’t ready. We called booking. Com to cancel and were told we would be charged a $266 cancellation fee unless the hotel waived it. So I went back to the hotel and told the employee that we had cancelled our reservation because we couldn’t get into our room for the last 3 hours. The manager then came over and stated she had no idea what was going on. The employee then told her that I was the customer she had been telling her about that had been trying to check in for 3 hours. I told the manager this had completely ruined our plans so we cancelled and I asked her to email booking. Com to waive our cancellation fee because we couldn’t check in. The manager told me she would do this right away. It’s been two days and the manager never responded to the email.

So pricey. Yes, it’s NYC but up charges for everything. No frills, or specials to make you feel you are at a Hilton. Lobby was clustered with stuff everywhere. Room was not really clean. Staff was ok.
Left an amazing Air BNB in Queens for a night in the city and wow just disappointed. Plus, now there is a $67.00 charge on my card I have to argue with them about.

An hour after check in and still our room is not ready… do not recommend this hotel… Update… they were able to get us a king room instead of our double room, and the staff is courteous, however the elevator situation is a nightmare… the room is very nice and clean.

Very nice place to stay. Rooms were a little small, but we don't stay in there much. Very nice staff. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived. We waited in our daughters room and desk made it possible for us to stay in the attached room.

Very comfortable stay. Friendly and prompt service at the front desk & valet. Others commented that the elevator service was slow, but we had no problems during our 3 day 2 night stay. We were given the room in between 2 elevators and I was concerned we would hear noise from the elevator shafts, but it was very quiet! Beds comfortable. Rooms were expected size for NYC (small). Oh! I almost forgot to mention the worst feature of the room — the bathroom door was not a door. It slid in front of the entrance of the restroom, but provided minimal privacy and NO containment of smell.

This is my third time at this hotel. I stop with my family each year when we take our vacation overseas. The main thing going for it, in my opinion, is the location, which is absolutely perfect for visiting Manhattan. I always enjoy the courteousness of the staff and I appreciate their efforts to make me feel welcome. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The only minor disappointment this year was the internet that is heavily firewalled to the point that there is no online game that actually workee. I had to use my hot spot to fix that. For everything else, I highly recommend this hotel.

I usually stay at other hotel brands but still am a Hilton honor member with my credit card. The concierge of my card booked that hotel for me and that was a fantastic surprise. First, love that they were celebrating pride so proudly. Second, Cristopher at the front desk was super professional and friendly, and made sure to remind us about the benefits we had. He also advised my husband and I about going to the airport. Super helpful. Finally, rooms were spacious for NYC, bed was very comfortable. The only thing I would add is a scale. This hotel and staff now makes me want to travel to Hilton properties way more often.

6 days in NYC. This place is the best. Price was comparable to all similarly located chains. The service is a 11!. I’ve stayed here twice and both times were perfect. The location can’t be beat for travelers like us. It’s a 20 minute subway ride to any of the Burroughs. Stay here you’ll be happy. Oh and it’s safe.

Great location but no parking if you have a car. I mean parking for a fair price. Their is placed that charge like 75 dollar a day. But the hotel is near everything. Time square is 5 minute walking distance. Also their are great place to eat and drink around it.

For a sightseeing holiday in New York, the hotel is absolutely top. The staff is very friendly and also very helpful. The rooms are well designed and the bed is also top. I only give 4 stars because there is no proper separation from the bathroom. The door to the bathroom is a sliding door that does not close at all. So everyone in the room gets everything with you.
You can walk to a lot of attractions. In addition, there are two good pubs, a good café and two supermarkets, 1 hour away.

The hotel has very good location, close to Central Park, Times Square and subway stations. The attention of the staff is friendly. The cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms is good.

It’s a mixed bag. Staffs are generally very nice. The location is great. The main problem is the space. Like many others in NYC, it’s a tiny hotel. Rooms are really small. There are elevators but they are always very busy. I don’t think there is either service elevator or it doesn’t go all the way to the top. So the crews mostly use the same elevator as the customers with the laundry bags so it’s even more crowded.

Beat experience in NY theater district ever. Friendly helpful staff, very clean, centrally located. Empire Steak house on site — outstanding. Close to shows, amazing delis on block. Can't wait to come back.

Fabulous staff. Great location. Easy check-in (in person or digital) Updated rooms, very comfortable mattresses and pillows. All white sheets and comforters makes it very easy to see how clean it really is Lots of places to eat right outside the door.

We are big fans of Hilton properties. Great location, just off Times Square, on 54th, doors away from the former infamous Studio 54. Close to the southern end of Central Park. A 15 minute walk. In the heart of Hell's Kitchen, small little late night eateries. Friendly staff at hotel. Many floors, opt for a lower on if you can, as elevators are sparse, and from the top, it can be a long wait. Our room appeared clean and recently updated.

The room was pretty tight and the bed sheet were not clean. They had particles on them so I used my own sheets that we had brought. The bathroom was nice though.

Loved this hotel, stayed for 4 nights from 2nd March. Comfortable beds, room very clean and great facilities, fridge, microwave and coffee machine in room. Great location, walking distance to all major sites and 2 minutes from Times Square. Amazing staff, from doorman, reception to cleaning staff, everyone we encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. Wi-Fi in rooms a massive plus too. Would have no hesitation in staying here again. Thank you for a great stay.

The Good: The rooms are small, but laid out well, and I've been in far smaller hotel rooms in NYC. The staff all were exemplary Hilton employees always doing whatever it took to help and make my stay a good one. The elevators move fast, but since it's 34 floors and only three elevators one needs to plan for long waits as they hit multiple floors. The location is great, being within easy walking distance of all the tourist attractions in the area, and many restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and relatively dark at night. I recommend getting a corner room (1 or 11). The Bad: The hotel was being renovated, and so there were some problems. Specifically, the are upgrading the door locks to the new mobile controlled ones, and in my case I was locked it of my room twice, and the door failed to close on its own, requiring me to pull it closed. However, this was resolved by staff, and I'm sure future guests would not be affected. This is why I'm only putting this under bad. In addition, they had to do an emergency repair to the hotel water, which resulted in a water outage, but again this was done at a time that most guests wouldn't be present, so again not a problem for future guests and there was plenty of warning to ensure guests would be prepared. Because these were so minor, I struggled with putting them here, but I'm not going to take any stars away from my rating. The Ugly: Nothing, I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, parts, clean and cozy, I never had problems with the elevator or with the noise of the air conditioning only went down the temperature and are hardly bothered me. What of the coffee maker in the piece with coffee always available was very nice. The only but was the receptionist who greeted us, who by the way spoke perfect English, we do not mean anything, only required a credit card guarantee, and we pass the room card and that was that. We did not know that with that card served to use the elevator, we never knew that our suitcases don't go up, don't knew where he was, the room, nothing. But in General the stay was very good, just improve the attitude of one of your receptionists. Greetings.

Great place to stay. Very convenient to practically everything. We always stay on a high floor, so sometimes the wait for an elevator is a few minutes. And the hot water takes awhile to reach the shower. Everyone is lovely and accommodating, despite the high volume of guests coming through. Breakfast buffet is fairly good, and wait staff is excellent.

This Hilton Garden Inn is much smaller then expected and so were the room, I’d stayed in. The location was great but, Boy! You don’t get much for $169 per night. Just think of this room size as about half of your typical hotel room size, really it’s small. I stayed in King size bed room and no table and chairs, and shelf like desk with chair that barely fits between the bed and desk. Can’t even walk around the bed, because of the desk chair.

I stayed there 2 times in the last year and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The service is fantastic and the location is great. There is an exercise room and laundry machines. I would stay there happily again. I have been in two other Garden Inns in Midtown since there (because it was sold out) and frankly still haven't seen the same service and attitude as there.

Been here since Tuesday. I made the right choice with The Hilton Garden Inn. Beautiful and clean. Very comfy beds. The staff are very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Nice location, easy walk to major attractions. Newly acquired by Hilton, it is renovated nicely. Rooms are fresh and clean, including a microwave and refridgerator. Only complaint, rooms tend to be fairly small. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The location is great, very convenient to Central Park and the subway station. The rooms are pretty small, even for NYC standards, although very nice. We had a balcony, which was a nice amenity! The only thing that would prevent me from choosing this hotel again is the sliding, not quite covering the entire area, bathroom door. Seriously, I'm not sure who decided this was a good idea, but it's just really not. The door doesn't lock and it doesn't entirely seal off the doorway.

Room was fabulous, really clean. Service was good too, asked me if I needed stuff via text which was a nice touch even when I didn't need anything. Quiet too.

Nice place. They double charged us for the room. They money came out straight away. But takes 3 to 4 days to go back in. Definitely not ideal when traveling.

Check in was pleasant and staff members were very friendly. Room was small but comfortable. Only down side was a sliding bathroom door that didn't close all the way.

This was our first trip to New York and the hotel's staff was extremely & consistently welcoming, professional and helpful. The property was bright, well — staffed & pleasant, our room clean and quiet. Great location; within walking distance of subways. Daisey, the Night-Manager, should be commended for her approach towards and hospitality shown her guests. Hilton management, she's a gem! Wouldn't hesitate to return.

I recently evacuated Florida due to the hurricane and the only flight was to NYC. I booked my room with you all with my little white Chihuahua. Checking in your front desk staff was above par, so accodating, and I can't say how appreciative I was for that during such a stressful time. They took such great care of me went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home with my stay! From the front desk management to everyone who checked me in! They even remembered me by my first name! I can't express my gratitude to everyone there! Thank you so much, and from my experience you made a client for life!

Stayed here for just one night. Room was clean and comfortable. It's a no frills hotel. Also liked that they offered flat fare to LGA, however it was more expensive than advertised on their website. PLEASE update this!

Great Location near Broadway and Times Square. The rooms are very small, but were clean and had all the basic amenities. The elevators were busy with long wait times to go up or down. They could have really used another one to cover the demand. The buffet breakfast was good, if you happen to be at a level to get it for free, otherwise they were charging $23 pp. We didn't use the parking, so can't comment on that. And finally the staff was very friendly and helpful. I gave them an average rating compared to other Hilton brand hotels, which are always nice.

Rooms are spacious for NYC. Well appointed with mini fridge and microwave. Small lobby so plan to socialize somewhere else. Our original room had broken AC (bad news in the middle of July heatwave) and despite a maintenance request our first night was sweaty. We requested a room change first thing in the morning which was honored smoothly and with no fuss.

We stayed over in Hilton Garden Inn Central Park on 07/03. I booked from Hotel Tonight. I got a queen bed. The room is spacious enough to fit 2 people. It was clean and neat. The concierge was very helpful and polite. The value of the room was definitely good. Walking distance to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, subway station.

Stayed here 3 times. I like that the hotel is very close to Hell's Kitchen and the theaters. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is modern and clean. It has a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave which is very unusual for a NYC hotel! The problem is being awoken at 3AM to a fire alarm and announcement "Attention Attention this is your fire warden speaking, please disregard the alarm, we are trying to fix the elevators" Really? can't this be done midday instead of of the middle of the night? The alarm continued to sound every 10 minutes until 5AM. So much for a restful nights sleep. I see from other reviews that this was not the first time, very concerning. I gave it two stars because it is really a nice place to stay, but cannot trust to stay here again at the risk of the fire alarm blaring all night long.

Correct service. Add the morning gift coffee and cookies in the afternoon. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Too bad the elevators are few for both passenger.

The best thing about this place is definitely the staff. Friendly and very helpful, always concerned about their clients having fun. The rooms are quite on the small side and so are the bathrooms. Everything is clean though. The other great thing is certainly the location. Close to central park, Times Square, the Rockefeller Center, the metro stop, you can go see pretty much anything ypu want.

The meaning of the word "Service" for me, has nearly reach a new pinnacle of perfection. That staff here went out of their way to accommodate just about everything I could ask for, a very generous Early check-in and late check-out. They even gave me a complimentary upgrade, to a room with a spacious terrace; wich is completely worth it even if I'd had to pay. First time in a long time: if ever, I felt like a Hilton Honors Diamond Member.

The location was right next to the studio where Stephen Colbert filmed, 5 minutes from times square and 10 minutes from central park. The service was great and the room was gorgeous with comfy beds and a beautiful view. Excellent for visitors to the Big Apple.

Room was great. Hotel was clean. Two stars because the chain is known for great breakfast for HHonors members. This was the worst breakfast I've ever had at the chain. Premade "omlettes'; factory made scrambled eggs, warm milk and cold bacon. Now I know it's free for me, but it's not worth free. I will be going elsewhere for the rest of my stay. I would think the "steakhouse" the breakfast is served in is just as terrible.

Great mid town hotel for business travelers. Fitness center is clean and bright, staff is helpful, rooms are fine for a few nights. Hotel is set up with laundry and a restaurant, so longer stays work too.

I am a hhonors member so I come here every single year when I come to new york. Very clean rooms, staff is friendly. A 5 minute walk to times square. Great location. Highly recommend.

Positives: City view was pretty good. Room was clean. Keurig/fridge/microwave/iron was nice to have. Negatives: Lots of noise in the room and not from the street, A/C did not work properly, there is just a big sliding door for the bathroom so you have no privacy in there. No vent fan. Low water pressure. Pillows were awful. Room was right next to elevators and door was not insulated well so I heard hallway noise frequently. Not much closet space. Not worth $250 a night.

Our stay here was great. We came for our sons school band performance & our location was close to his hotel. It was within proximity to a lot of points of interest for us. The room was small, but met our needs. Service was excellent, staff was friendly. Room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. We checked in on National Oreo Day, so that was a plus.

Stayed here for a night and booked a room with a city view. Location is within easy walking distance of Central Park and Times Square. The hotel is new so decor is modern and everything is clean. The room was a good size, well equipped with microwave, fridge, big flat screen TV. Bathroom was clean, shower was powerful and plenty hot enough. City view was good from the 27th floor, the service from reception was prompt and efficient when I was checking in and checking out and my room rate was good, comparable with other places I've stayed at before in Manhattan which were not as nice so I felt it was good value.

The room was very small. There was barely enough room to move between the walk and the bed. Meanwhile, our room was literally between two elevators! Fortunately, there weren't many people on our floor, so we didn't have much issue with noise. We had read that the elevators were slow, and there are plaques on every floor that mention this. This is due to the lack of service elevators, meaning the staff uses the main elevators. We did not experience more than a minute or so wait, though. My biggest complaint was with the breakfast buffet. I like being offered a hot buffet, and loved the make-your-own waffles, but give out of the six hot options had onions and peppers in them, which I don't care for first thing in the morning. And NO BACON?!?!? Seriously, they had some kind of breakfast bruschetta, that nobody was eating, but NO BACON. Weird. Otherwise it was a pretty good stay. The location is great, and we experienced nothing but excellent service, even from the engineer who had to come open the safe for us.

Friendly staff, great location, clean rooms. Hopelessly inadequate elevator access. Not only are you competing with other guests, but with the housekeeping staff as well. It was nothing for us to wait 10+ minutes for service, give up and walk down. We were on the 10th floor and could do so fairly easily, but persons on higher floors or with physical limitations would not have this option. This was such a frustration to us that we would not consider staying here again even with all the positive features.

I stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn last month and was very well satisfied with my room… It was a brand new hotel, and staff was extremely helpful and friendly… I was on the 32nd floor and my room was extemely nice… everything in room was brand new… walking in room there was cermaic tile in the beginning of hall and bathroom… a nice wall mirror in entrance way… the bathroom was huge… a very big vanity, with all sorts of neutragena amenities… It had a huge walk in shower with glass doors… nice fluffy bath towels and hand towels with wash cloths… In the bedroom I had a king size bed with upgraded linens on the bed… big fluffy bed pillows… nice duvet… a 42" flat screen tv… a keurig coffee maker… a nice wardrobe to put your clothing in… nice wall to wall carpeting… and a huge picture window with a lovely city view… All in all this property was super super clean… the room was amculate… quiet… did not hear any street noise… I definitely would be using this property again, when I come into NYC… I was extremely satisfied with my stay…

Bathroom plumbing was faulty. Bathroom had no counter space for toiletries. Room was nice with a nice view. Quiet and comfortable. Elevators in the building are hit and miss, you can wait 1 minute to 10 minutes (warned by a sign for peak hour delays).

Great location for visiting the theater district! My room was probably the nicest room I have ever been in. Well laid out and comfortable, size wise! There is a bit of water hammer that caused odd noises, but, overall a great room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Room and common areas were spotless. Overall, the greatest experience in NYC I have ever had!

I chose this hotel to visit this section of NYC with my family. Excellent walking distance to Central Park, subways, and surrounding highly recommended bars and restaurants. We were upgraded from a basic King size room to a King with a terrace. Terrace was small, but it was a nice extension to the room. Staff was very accommodating. I recommend staying on floor 2 so that you don't need to rely on the elevators — they weren't working properly and made many others upset. Overall, a great experience.

Horrible horrible rooms! There is nothing to like about this hotel! I would give negative stars if I could but had no choice as 1 star is lowest rating. Please do not ever stay here — toilet did not work, sheets had holes and stains, rooms smaller than my closet at home. Only reason we were forced to stay was because hilton made a booking error.

Very clean, poor service: we order a bottle of sparkling wine and a bouquet of flowers of the same hotel, they did not the effort to store flowers or wine, bouquet was left a little no matter how on the small table next to the television and on our business, and the wine is not put on ice It was not even refrigerated. More the caretaker charge a fee even for simple information. Basic services abused.

Very poor service. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine and a bunch of flowers from the hotel, they didn't even make the effort to arrange the flowers nicely nor the bottle of wine. The bouquet was left without efforts we the small table next to the television and we put our things and the wine was not on ice, it was not even chilled. Also The concierge charges a fee for simple information. Basic services abused.

Excellent location. Easy access to Times Square without being in the thick of it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room are small, but clean and efficiently laid out.

Room was kind of small and bathroom had no lock : (Loved the freshness and cleanliness though. Very comfy bed and convenient location for tourists. Booked my stay at around 10 pm and checked in around midnight only to be told that we had to check out at around noon with no exceptions when the lady over the phone told me I could check out around the same time I checked in. Talked to front desk about it, but there was nothing to be done. The air conditioning was very loud and made it hard to sleep throughout the whole night. Let the staff know and they had a maintenance staff attempt to fix it, but after he left the loud noises came back. Was not very happy. Would not stay here again due to this experience.

Just rebuilt and practically brand new, rooms are a bit on the small side for two double beds, but who stays in the room anyway? Very close to the late show, times square, central park, theatre district, and good food.

Great service, smiley staff, always happy to help. Great location, close to everything. Really clean. Our room was a bit too small for my taste, but we stayed with some friends and they had a bigger room so I guess it depends on luck. Overall great stay, really recommended.
