This is really a BAD HOTEL. I was massively deceived but the pics that the website showed me when I made the reservation. The website showed a decent room and booked it. When I arrived they charged me the full stay upfront and I landed in a horrible small old room close to the elevator that had NOTHING to do with the one that they presented to me in the website. When I complained, they admitted that the pic in the website didn't reflect the decoration or size of the room that they gave me but still they refused to reimburse any money. The director is fully aware of these circumstances. If you want to sleep in a horrible place, this is your hotel.

The rooms were nice (beds, bathrooms, etc. ). The staff was very pleasant and helpful (they helped me resolve a booking issue — — I booked for the wrong night). The location is fairly convenient too. Warning: it wasn't quite clear to me until check in that there is a > $30 "amenities" fee they charge at check-in, apparently for Wi-Fi, gym access, and free use of anything in the minibar (contents: 1 apple juice, 1 orange juice, 2 small cokes, 2 water bottles).

I arrived in New York for work and was allowed to check in early. The staff was friendly and professional, the decor was modern and fun. My room was fantastic overall and had a mini bar with water, soda, and juice included. The area felt safe and was quiet for New York City. I would definitely stay here again!

Good enough hotel, but charge $31 mandatory fee for Wi-Fi and the water in the mini fridge. Just be aware of that when booking. Such a low move to pull. A new place should hold themselves in higher regard than to resort to that.

First time staying here and I will definitely be back again. Beautiful room with tons of amenities that make the additional $30 hotel fee seem worth it. With the right price, this would easily be my go-to Chelsea resting place.

My NYC life began at FIT at 18, at the end of the block. Fast forward to today being my 60th birthday. This property was a parking lot back then and you never walked around here at night. I'm so impressed. I've only been here one night, so I can't really critique quite yet. So far so good though!

Our stay at this hotel was terrific. The service was fully attentive, from the help with luggage to and from our room to the loading of it into the taxi upon our departure. Check-in was simple and we were provided with a lovely complimentary upgrade. The room was well appointed and very clean. We would definitely stay again!

My girlfriend and I ate at the restaurant in the lobby. The outside seating area looked really nice, but since it's winter so that was out. The lobby seating/bar area feels a bit on the stiff side, but nice all the same. The food that we had was VERY good. The seasonings on the burger made it quite possibly the best burger I've ever had. My girlfriend had the skirt steak which was equally as good. We are definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. Although, we'll probably wait until spring time to experience the seating area outside.

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff, clean room with very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. However, BEWARE: do NOT park your car on the street in front of the hotel after 8 AM. It is a commercial zone starting at 8, and I was towed at 8:13 — that was a $300 mistake. The hotel itself was wonderful though and I hope to stay there again soon. Javier helped me out immensely!

Stayed here in November and although the rooms are minimalistic and clean the service is very poor. I waited 1 hr for a lamp to be delivered to my room (my room didn’t have one) and the next day housekeeping did not clean my room until I returned to the hotel at 7 pm. I had to call and request cleaning… (Fyi I left at 11 am and returned at 7 pm) Also they never replaced the mini bar nor cleaned my tea cups even after cleaning! Staff needs to change as the hotel itself is really nice but the service totally ruined the experience.

Had a slight issue with house keeping. It was handled swiftly and the manager on duty was kind and super professional. The rooms are nice and amenities are also pretty good. My second time visiting and I will definitely come back.

We were really looking forward to staying in this hotel for our upcoming stay in NYC, but unfortunately due to terrible policies and no human understanding, we will not be staying here on our trip. We had booked 3 rooms, but due to a mishap in a page refresh on our booking site, the dates had been changed back to the current day. I called within 5 minutes of booking to change the reservation, but due to their 24-hr policy, I could not change or cancel the room without a large fee. Management was not understanding of the circumstance, and not considerate of the simple mistake. I had called to change within 5 minutes, probably before they even saw the reservation. All in all, our booking site was great and offered us a $100 voucher for our next booking, which will certainly will not be with this hotel.

The hotel is modern, functional and well-located.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms overlooking the Empire are stopping to have them as they are building a skyscraper right in front of it.
I would recommend it and hope to return on a next occasion.

The concierge Hugo is the top.
Speak Italian as well.
All the staff are very kind. Initially we had a problem but we was resolved.

A very nice city hotel. Small, clean room with good enough amenities (we had the normal double room).
We didn't have breakfast, but you didn't need to either. You can go to the left around the corner very well for breakfast.
Macy's, Rockefeller Center, Central Park all within walking distance.
Downtown Manwere also within easy reach by Metro.
We can only recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

Good hotel. Compltamente again. Excellent location. Large rooms and very comfortable bed. Restaurant with good atmosphere. Fast and efficient Room service. Very friendly staff. Nothing noisy. Average high price as in NYC. But it's worth it.

Nice venue. Friendly stay. Bar is okay. Very nice looking and clean venue. Modern. TVs have front facing hookups for connecting a laptop or game console or whatever. Decent gym.

Location is good! But the cleanliness and quality of the equipment is not a luxury or something. The beds are at the knartschen and our window to the shower has been a disgusting mold spot. Also the elevators did not look very clean. What a pity!

Room was clean, spacious and had a view of the Empire State Building. Staff was friendly and helpful. At check-in we were assigned to a queen room when we had paid for a king. Within minutes the staff found a new room for us. Bed was very comfortable. Would recommend to friends.

Beautiful and modern with great bar and restaurant. Rooms are good size, clean, bright and modern. The only odd thing would be the showers, with their frosted glass windows to the rest of the room… Kind of awkward when you're travelling with your family! Lol.

Great location, clean room, nice restaurant. Everything was excellent until… Got bites on my face that turned into big swollen patches, had to go to urgent care. Could be spider, or I hope not bed bugs. Told the front desk, they just said, oh, really? Also, my brand new, expensive hair curler has mysteriously disappeared from the bathroom. House keeping has not seen it, neither did lost and found.

Beautiful place. Great scenery, stellar room with a kuerig knockoff and standing shower. Modern and comfortable in a great area of the city. However, custodial staff are very lazy. Don't replace towels, fridge drinks, coffee mugs (one was even dirty from before our stay), or k-cups. Took our cologne. They say it's our responsibility to put everything in the safe, but they can't honestly expect us to put everything we own in there. Ours was already stuffed full. While I may stay here again, I wouldn't expect it to be anything more than like renting an apartment for three days. Housekeeping is up to me.

Stayed eight nights and could not be more pleased! Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy… especially Priscilla in Housekeeping. She mad sure we had coffee and towels daily, even though we had a privacy tag on the door. She would catch us on the way to the elevator and ask what she could do to make our stay great. I was thoroughly impressed. Already booked our next trip!

Great hotel! We love staying there. We left I'll close it was to everything downtown. The restaurant is probably great on other days but it was a miss on the day we were there. I would give it a second try if I was back. Hotel staff was incredibly on point and kind. Thank you!

What can I say. The staff is top notch. Very accommodating. The hotel itself it beautiful. Food is amazing.

Was a nice, modern looking hotel! It's in a good location, close to decent shops and the subway station. We had a good time and enjoyed our stay. The room could have been cleaner (finger prints of make-up was smeared on the door) plus that same door did not lock. Communication was not the greatest with the desk staff, they explained that there is a $20.00 fee for Wi-Fi and television usage as well as the drinks from the mini fridge, (a bit of a rip-off, should be complimentary like most hotels) we did ask if the fee was charged for the duration of our trip or per day used, she agreed it was for the duration of our trip. But when we went to check-out they said it was $20.00 fee charged each day for usage! Even though we confirmed at the beginning of our stay, this needs to be specified.

Great hotel and great location. Its in the middle of uptown and downtown. Either wait you could go. Good for Tourist hotel. Not so expensive. Great service. Great doorman. He walk a block to get us a taxi to Penn station. Nice work!

The service in the restaurant is good. Latin that you can't say the same for workers of reception, the rooms are small even the mia in particular was on the top floor with good views.

Nice place to stay. You can reach everything by feed and metro and the food is very good. If you want to relax in the entrance area, this hotel isn't the one for you because there's "loud" music playing — especially in the evening. Although the hotel is quite new, the walls are already missing some plaster here and there. All in all, I can recommend this hotel!

Location great, near red line, restaurants, and shops. Nice lobby, great rooms with Nespresso machine. Good view from one side down toward financial district. Staff helpful.

If you want the true typical NYC hotel experience, you'll have to look elsewhere: the elevators are swift, silent, and spacious, and the plumbing constant and reliable! The rooms are extremely well thought-out, although the frosted glass wall between the shower and the bedroom suggests that all occupants should already be intimate! The restaurant is blingy, but the menu is good (did not eat there), and the neighbourhood is more lively than Midtown. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The room is very clean and the staff is super friendly. Any issues that arise are handled quickly. The restaurant prices are the only thing that keeps this from receiving 5 stars. But to be in the middle of Manhattan, you can't go wrong with INNSIDE New York Nomad.

This very modern hotel stands out from the typical city-scape surroundings. All staff we encountered were polite and efficient. I think the price is fair for the location and amenities. I did not eat at their restaurant but it smelled great! No problems with our room other than the shower not draining properly. They had someone to our room within 10 minutes and the drain was fixed within 30. The drinks in the mini fridge are complimentary. Good location for getting around to the different NY sites. Overall I recommend.

I wasn't surprised to discover that this hotel is owned by a European group. The design is compact, but the entire space is well used, and there's exactly as much room as you need to feel comfortable. That's a layout I associate with travelling abroad. Its also common in Europe to have only a comforter and no top sheet (as some other commenters have pointed out is standard at this hotel). The design is streamlined in a way that makes these slightly smaller spaces still feel elegant. The views are amazing, and the cocktails in the lounge are delicious, so take advantage of the every day happy hour from 4-7pm.

It was all very well. The service was the best part.

Clean, sleek, amazing shower! A courteous front staff. Nice outdoor dining area and fantastic pasta dishes and desserts. Best coffee Ever. Music was too loud for conversation in lobby bar area. Would like a set of sheets rather just a fitted sheet with comforter. Still and all, highly recommend.

Very good stay in the hotel, both for the treatment received and for the rooms. Highly recommended.
