Raina at the reception was exceptionally very welcoming and friendly. I have stayed with so many hotel in the US but this by far is the best.

I book rooms for 5/20-5/23. I am a rewards member. I was very dissatisfied with the Hotel, that was always hot even in the lobby. The rooms were dirty and mold ridden. The furniture was old and smelly. The housekeeping was none! The people who called theirselves Management should be fired. I couldn’t call the front desk from the phone in the room, no one would answer the phones. I had to use my cell phone to call the reservation line to speak to the front desk. The room was so dirty and nasty, I complained and I was moved to another room on 5/20. On 5/21 I had to have a strong worded conversation and threaten to pack up leave in order to get the room clean. I had left for the day and when I returned, housekeeping went into the room and made the bed only, they didn’t clean the bathroom, change the towels or take out the garbage. I took pics of all of the garbage left in the room. I moved the trash to the hall outside of the door. There were three women sharing the room, they left 1 set of towels, had to go down and address the issue again! On 2//22, I spoke to the front desk again as I was leaving the hotel and asked for the room to be clean. When I returned later that night, housekeeping didn’t clean again. I was told the cleaning vendor was sick therefore the room didn’t get clean, what an insult.

I enjoyed my overnight stay. Restaurant food wasngood.

So, so disappointed. We pre-paid for our room as we were attending a funeral back in January. There was a snowstorm in New York, our flight was canceled so obviously we couldn't get to the hotel. Even the funeral was rescheduled. Marriott has given us the runaround for weeks and has not issued us a refund. It would be different if we changed our mind but we had no control over not being able to get to New York. I've been a loyal customer for years but I'll think long and hard about booking with them in the future. Not a good look for the brand.

Out dates, towels are old, customer service is average at best. Way better experience at other Marriott locations. Staying for a week and wish I could switch and it’s only day 2.

I’ve been trying to contact with long island marriott in 101 Jamesdoolittle New york it seems that there ignoring my concern. Last march 23my 2 box of yeezy shoes which worth 245 usd each arrived at long island marriott and was received. Nobody expected that this pandemic would happen and got all the flights cancelled and were not able to move out till now, by that time I emailed the customer service of marriott hotel and forwarded me to Long island marriott new york, by that time They replied back that their gonna keep my package until I fly back to NY, it was a relief. Last august 10 I ask my friend to check the package for me, I was shock because they told him that the package was dispose, how could a well known hotel do such thing to their guest personnal belongings without informing them that their gonna dispose the item. Its really frustrating. I demand that you guys paid the amount that ive lost since you didnt even bother to let me know what happend to my stuff.

Great place great location great atmosphere.

I used them for my wedding block. The rooms were great, the care attention and customer service was awesome. We even got strawberries and champagne when checked in on our wedding night. Definitely will use them again!

Abosoulily not. Totally not worth the money. Small rooms for a very high price. No Microwave in the room. A dirty one in the lobby. Crappy selection in the small over priced store. Very disappointed. Never ever again.

The room was very comfortable and the bed was amazing. I had a great time there. The lobby looked amazing and was very clean and there was a nice fireplace. I would definitely stay again!

It is a fine Marriott. Pretty typical. It is a convention hotel. Nice pool, great exercise room, hot tub, saunas.

Great customer service all round from housekeeping to reception to the restaurant. Spacious rooms too and excellent gym facilities.

Of all the Marriott's I have stayed, this is not the gem of the chain. Stay here only if attending concert next door. The hotel is out of the way & not close to any stores or services. They offer no local shuttle service for guests, just for the influx of airline employees who come in & out like planes at a busy airport. Most of the staff was helpful, but not all on the same page in coordinating service issues.

Great full service Marriott. Got upgraded to a room with a big balcony which was sweet. Nice big room too. The shower pressure is horrible, probably one of the worst shower pressures in the game. Internet is eh. Not much around and nothing in walking distance but that's just Long Island, not the hotels fault. The room service food was average but quick.

The best hotel! I loved it here. Service at a very high level. Amenities are everywhere. Pool, gym and many, many more services. Thank you so much. My friends and I had a really good time.

The staff was very attentive — the was a small problem in the room — it was handled immediately and efficiently. The food was also good and the bar/restaurant staff was also very attentive. — I would recommend a stay here.

This place is great! The rooms are comfortable, good night's sleep in very comfy beds. The employees go out of there way to accommodate. I will definitely use the Marriott again. Amenities are also plentiful.

Amazing food amazing service beautiful decor. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed ourselves. We sat at the bar while our children were a Nassau Col. At a show. It is walking distance from the parking lot. I would love to stay there as a guest anytime. This is a classy place!

Super nice place. Awesome customer service! Large pool and recreation area with air hockey and table tennis. Great place to stay with kids. Clean rooms. My only complaint was the shower head. The rain ones look fancy but the water is so light coming out. Located in a nice area with lots to do.

Newly remodeled, finished in the first half of 2018. The breakfast buffet is probably the best I've seen at a hotel. Lots of options and really tasty food. The bar is great as well.

Hotel is nice, beds are comfortable. Check in was a nightmare, showed up at 4pm and was told no rooms currently available. Had to go back to the desk to question this as we needed to get ready for a wedding reception, they were able to accommodate us after 40 minutes. Others were left waiting with no rooms before they left for the reception.

This hotel is beautiful the bar and restaurant have such a classy style. It makes you feel like your worth a million more bucks. The event spaces are large, easily equipped and the staff are wonderful.

Room clean and nice but the restaurant host service was less than desirable. Instead of asking me if I was staying in the hotel and how they could help, they just wanted to double bill me and questioned me on what room I was staying each and every morning. It was as if they were doing me a favor when I had already prepaid breakfast for 2 for all 4 nights. The servers were nice however.

Hotel looks recently remodeled, lobby, bar, and restaurant are very modern. Rooms are exactly what you would find at a Marriott flagship hotel. Well thought out rooms and modern appliances. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great place, clean rooms, a starbucks and a chipotle within walking distance, what else is better in auto. The food in the hotel is good and the attention of first.

We had a company conversation in one of the conference rooms. We were about 100 employees and we were sweating in there. They gave us plenty of water to start but being that is was so hot we quickly consumed it and ran out. Then we had to chase them to replenish. Everyone was so parched that people were getting up to go to the back at once to get water and we quickly consumed it. Otherwise, the lobby was beautiful and smells terrific! Conference room needs improvement but overall place seems nice and is conveniently located near the highway and main road. Cheers!

6 months ago the breakfast buffet rated 5 stars. After a major renovation the food quality has diminished and the quiet ambience of the former dining room has been "updated" to the bustle of an airport cafeteria. After years of celebrating our anniversary with a Marriott breakfast, we are finally bidding adieu to the breakfast at the buffet.

My stay at the Uniondale Marriott was outstanding. When we arrived we were given a room with 2 full beds, my wife went to them and explained that we were hoping for one bed to sleep together in and they instantly changed our room. Because I was staying there for a Men’s breakfast in the morning they extended me a late check out and finally the staff at the breakfast were extremely helpful with attending to all of our needs. It was a phenomenal experience!

I was there at a fundraising program. The hall was very spacious. The waiter and waitresses that served our table was very courteous and funny. Also very respectful. The hotel seemed very clean. Big parking lot outside. Overall liked it there.

The event was held in the lobby of the hotel. They had light snacks and soft drinks. The event was well organized and ran smoothly. The event, also had a panel discussion in another room which was excellent.

I liked the quietness of the area. The mattress blanket … I slept the hole day. There are shuttles to different places and there are many shopping malls arround. I loved the idea of staying away to sleep and go visit Manhattan or any other place during the day. Airlines crew stays here and clean place as Marriott. Staff… lovely front desk.

A beautiful gem in the Marriott crown. Full service hotel with all the amenities. Gorgeous room and a bed to just sink into and disappear. Love this place! Convenient to Hofstra U and Sports complex too.

The rooms was big, and the bed was really comfortable. The staff was not helpful, felt like I was interrupting them when I was checking in. Later that evning we ate at their restaurant. That food was horrible! The worst 68$ I ever used. I ate a salty sandwich with some beef on it. And than a "warm" chocolate bread pudding, the pudding was cold and not good at all.

Nice, clean and comfortable. Cannot say enough good things about the staff at breakfast. They were very friendly, helpful and could not do enough even the morning after New Years.

Since the renovations a few years ago this hotel is much nicer. Conveniently located near the Meadowbrook State Parkway and Old Country Road. Right next door to the Newly renovated Nassau Veteran's Memorial Colosseum. Close to Roosevelt Field Mall, the Source Mall, and plenty of restaurants. A must for the serious shopper.

A decent hotel. We were given a strange answer on our room that only one room was available and if was on the first floor and pool side. Which would have been okay, however the temperature system would not lower the temp making it 78-80 in the room the whole time and room have an over Powering smell of the pool. Besides that the room was a nice hotel room. The restaurant place had great food at your standard higher hotel price, but the quality of food and drink was very good. I would Stay again if the room situation was different.

I particularly enjoyed the lobby and restaurant. I wasn't too crazy about the room — it was quite a few steps back from how modernized the rest of the establishment is. Service was wonderful.

The hotel's Professional Services were top-notch. They had donuts and bagels waiting for us in the morning, and a wonderful spread of accoutrements. The hotel was clean, and the carpets appeared to be very new. The decor was above average for the cost that are Services expected. I would definitely recommend this to any business that needed meeting spaces and or food for their employees.

It was very clean and the staff was nice. The food was delicious and many variety. But I was there for a business conference, and the hotel provided a pen and just one piece of paper. Not even a full size paper, more of a cardboard to write on. And the hotel only provided one per person for a meeting that was all day.

I stayed here two nights for a businesses trip. This is a nice Marriott. Room service food was excellent and they have a very nice fitness center. The people who checked me in were extremely friendly. I would stay here again.

The rooms are very clean the beds are like brand new I wish I had one of these beds at home. I would rate it at a 10. The staff at the Marriott are very courteous they would go out of their way to make your stay very pleasant. Excellent Hotel I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is the very best. You get acknowledge as you enter. I happen to have a very good experience with Lenny Perez. He help me resolve an issue and it was done in a very professional way. Thanks Wells Fargo for hiring the best. You guys rock!

The bed is comfortable. Service staff members are amazing. I just wish I had a microwave in the room. Also, the tiny frig does not have the little freezer in it so I can't freeze my gel ice pack.

The renovations are coming along fantastic. Very friendly staff, nice lobby, very nice conference room. Rooms were lovely, nice location on Nassau.

When we got to the hotel we had to wait over an hour just to get our rooms because they were still cleaning them. The rooms were okay, not the best but were clean and big enough. The bathroom area was a little small but still did its job. The walls were very thin and I could hear people talking in the room next to me and in the hallway, which was annoying at times. I ate dinner at the small restaurant/bar area. The food was good but the selection was limited. There were many events and people at the hotel which made it crowded. Overall just an average hotel.

This was one of the worst hotel stays my husband and I have had. The staff were rude and not helpful at all. The salon is extremely dirty and out dated. The woman who did my police change used a dirty towel on her lap and put my foot on her lap while I sat in a regular chair. When we went to the breakfast buffet there was a cockroach in the fresh fruit. The staff removed it and stepped on it. Then took the fresh fruit in the back and offered us a free meal. What was worse though was the fact that I emailed Marriott directly to avoid sharing with everyone such an embarrassing review and the response I got in return was not acceptable. What they offered was to give us an upgrade to our room the next time we stay at the Long Island Marriott. Besides the fact that this is a very small attempt to fix a big problem and complaint … they failed to realize that not everyone who stays at that hotel is from the area. We are from Oregon and this was a once in a life time trip for my husband and I and we have no plans to go back. We were there for the Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds concert and then continued our trip into NYC. The only thing that was good about the hotel is that the beds were decent.

I was not an overnight guest, but was attending a Sears Vacation informational event. The hotel itself seemed to have a cozy restaurant, and the lobby was well lit and comfortable with sofas and large chairs. It also happened to be national jello day and they had a table full of different flavored jello out and these were actually pretty good.

We stay here at least four times a year since our son is at nearby Hofstra, and the quality of the hotel has gone downhill since we started! To start with, the entrance is still under construction… more than a year now, with no progress in sight. There are not even workers working on it. As a result there is no space to pull up, no porter or bellman to help with bags, nothing. Many times when we've pulled up there are people smoking at the entrance, cabbies etc that you have to elbow through to get in. On more than one occasion, even though we check in after 3:00, rooms are not ready. When you've been driving for hours and all you want to do is kick off your shoes and get to your room, this is doubly annoying. With the entrance being under construction they are also down a restaurant, so all meals are now in one and a semi adult atmosphere is tried for at the morning coffee bar which turns over at night. But this is all with kids, dozens of them running through the hotel. We have never stayed here when there wasn't a team here as well. This weekend it was soccer, swimming, basketball and lacrosse. Fun! Also this weekend we could not rent movies in our room. Trying again and again and getting rejected, we called down to the desk. A "repairman" came up and ran through the same procedures and couldn't get it to work. After two calls to the video system company from the repairman with no change, we called it a day and gave up.

Location is a bit remote and right next to a sports arena, but the facilities inside are top notch. My room is a bit small for a king size but I don't need much space.

The room was fine but the person who checked us in said there would be free Wi-Fi but we were charged for Wi-Fi. We wouldn't have used it if we knew we'd have to pay for it. They were able to remove the charge for us but make sure you check your bill carefully or they might take advantage.

Large executive room truly does have an executive feel with nice large balcony… Great space and comfort for any extended stay. Only thing that could make it better would be a kitchen but this is not suite so no kitchen should be expected!

Nice place, clean. Good food, no great. Cook staff is very friendly and the chicken piccata-like dish is excellent.

It's acceptable. All amenities cost extra and are not cheap (Wi-Fi, breakfast, etc. ) Fitness center was above average. My room overlooked the indoor pool which limited natural light. Conference room was cold and lunch was disappointing (crusted over mayonnaise and pasta salad). I'll look elsewhere next time.

Rooms are clean and nice. Will recommend hotel to friends and family. Wifi should be free that's why 4 out of 5 stars. PS Food was great.

We were in the main ballroom for thr dinner. It was served late. My filet minion was rare on the inside. They should have served dinner after our ceremony was over.

Initially I was pleased with the amenities however there were bed bugs! Its a damn shame that for such an expensive and supposedly exquisite hotel there is such a problem. I'm beyond horrified! STAY AWAY PEOPLE! Room 1043 to be exact. This place needs to be inspected.

The food was great, and the rooms that were given to myself and my colleagues were very adequate. My only issue with the hotel was the parking, the lot is like a maze of one way entrances and exits. Can't really fault them for that though, we just had the crazy snow storm, so snow piles were everywhere. All in all, it was a great experience.

A great hotel. A bit isolated though. But still beautiful on the inside, and the rooms are nice and quite big. Nice and clean bathroom as well. Great view of the coliseum from our room too. Would very highly recommend.

I was an out of town guest looking forward to experiencing the luxury of New York City, but upon arriving at this hotel I had to wait 4 hours until a room was available. I was given no explanation as to why I had to wait so long. So I called corporate and expressed what happened, they apologized but said they couldn't do anything. There were other guests, waiting even longer than we were, with no explanation but the hotel gave them notice to allow them to come in early. I was told 3 different check in times but to no avail I was brushed off nonchalantly as if I was no priority. I will NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN! This was a horrible experience, they offered no apologies, compensation, no explanation, to why an out of town guest along with almost 6 other guests had to wait as long as we did after a long flight. Even though we were told that the rooms would be available.

Stayed here prior to running the Long Island Half-marathon. My friend was running the full and we asked for a late check out so that we could shower after the run. Denied. After the run we tried our luck again and got the manager involved. Once again, DENIED. Poor form Marriott staff, Poor form.

Being about half way through a corporate tour, using Marriott event/ meeting spaces, we came to Uniondale, NY Marriott. Our experiences for the most part around the country have been pretty consistent from Marriott to Marriott. The experience here has been far less than what we have come to expect from Marriott's Event Managers and Staff. They have all of this signage around the building and employee areas that state exceptional hospitality starts here. That is not at all how we feel with our experience here. From the gruff greeting arriving our first show day from security over an intercom system to the lack of smiles or presence of a hospitality concierge who was there to check on our meeting room the staff here seem annoyed to have to deal with people. If this is how one can expect to be treated when spending thousands of dollars with the Marriott here, I just don't know what to say. If you are looking to have a meeting or event in the area I would recomend you look elsewhere.

We were visiting from South Africa and participating in the Long Island Marathon earlier this year. The location for the event was perfect! The hotel was good and I found the staff very friendly. The rooms were very big and clean. The sports bar that is part of the hotel is also great and so there was no need to go out for dinner with the bar downstairs in the lobby. I will recommend this hotel to anyone staying the Long Island area.

The most important aspect of any hotel is the cleanliness of the room which was immaculate in this case. The granite counter surfaces in the bathroom added a luxurious touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Another bonus of staying at this hotel is the fact that they do not cater to "trashy" clientele. Most of the guests are business professionals. The only compliant I have is that they don't offer a complimentary breakfast or at least a limited choice of breakfast items for free.

Art in the Concierge lounge is absolutely fantastic. Its comfortable for the frequent traveler after a long day of work. Staff is always friendly. I stay here frequently and have always had a great experience. There is a charge for internet but that is not abnormal.
