I was greeted by an amazing host at the hotel by the name of Johnnie. He is very professional knowledgeable and friendly. He made my stay very enjoyable. The lobby gave me a peaceful homelike feeling. I appreciate the fact that it’s close to a gas station places to shop and eat. Whenever I come back to the area and need a place to stay this is where I will be. Thank you for everything 👍🏽

Great parking spaces were available. Booked a room in Farrockaway (Mint Hotel) but couldn't find a parking place. Farrockaway was very congested. 5 Towns is located in a wonderful location. Lots of places to eat. The rooms are quaint and clean. The person who registered us was very professional. We would definitely come here again.

I had to come to New york for a family emergency. Micheal and the entire staff have been the most hospitable. Coming from the South I was sceptical about the hospitality and customer service. This location exceeded my expectations. The Lobby and Rooms are extremely clean. Breakfast is individually wrapped with a good selection. The best I've experienced in a long time. Close to Shopping center and Restaurants. This Property is top-notch for the Location. I will not stay any where else when in town and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ridiculously noisy room. Requested to move to a different room and was told it would be noisy everywhere until the work going on outside stopped at 1 am. Now they’re refusing to give me a refund. Had to take my toddler to a different hotel at 11:30 pm. Never again.

Not a Hilton but very clean. Comfortable beds. Very friendly staff. No frills hotel!

Well priced hotel close to JFK. Food options also close and courtesy coach on hand.

My wife, my son and I enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The room was very clean and during the night it is very quiet. A great place to rest. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Good location hotel, and with free shuttle to JFK airport. (24 hrs) the lobby is smaller, but with free coffee, icy fruity water and cookies. However, the free breakfast is quite simple. Only one receptionist stays at front desk per shift. And one is not so friendly. Luggage storage is possible, however as only one receptionist is on duty, so you need to wait when he finishes all check in. (we were told luggage store is not priority for hotel and we waited. And missed our bus to Boston. And bought anther tickets $34)

Five Towns Inn is an airport hotel at it's best. The rooms are spacious (for NYC) and it's conveniently located near JFK. It's very reasonably priced and over all nicely equiped with with vending machines and 24 hour coffee and cake. They also have an airport shuttle that runs every 30 minutes 24/7. If you have a reservation with them you can call when you land at JFK and they will send the shuttle to get you within 30 minutes. All in all it's a nice place with great staff and great location. I'd stay there again!

My husband and I stay there for a week very clean and service was wonderful. And my husband drop his wallet in the lobby and hotel staff found it and return it back with everything still in it… Awesome hotel to stay in…

Minimal but effective. Pilots and other airline personnel stay here often enough to be chatty with the staff so that says something. If you want something more than cold pastries, there's an iHop down the street and a Greek restaurant across the way.

The worst service ever! The front desk staff is very bad and rude, especially the guys. They don't have service mind. We tried to talk politely but they still talked impolite and disrespectful. Management has to train them to do professionally. I booked for my family. They requested for the shuttle bus picking up at the airport and it took more than an hour to pick us up!? They've called to as them 4 times. I wouldn't recommend to stay here!

Affordable, regular free shuttles to the airport 24 hours a day, continental breakfast included and the staff were extremely friendly. Was extremely impressed the front desk staff remembered our name and a conversation we had at the front desk hours earlier.

The staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was good. Available from 6 am till mid-day. Snacks are available for the rest of the day. The bad things are, 1 — the room was not so clean 2 — the inn has no credit card chip reader for the new cards (they need to update their system) 3 — it's located on the approach bath for jfk, noisy area with planes landing.

We stayed at this hotel prior to our overseas flight in late March. We had a good stay so at the desk I booked to stay there on our return trip three weeks later. I gave credit card info and was told that I was all set. Imagine my dismay when we returned late in the evening a d were told they did not have our reservation and that it was sold out. That also happened to a couple in the long line behind us. Several of those people had airline vouchers for the hotel from cancelled flights. I guess they took precedent over people with reservations. I will never stay at this hotel again. They are not trustworthy. The person at the front desk was disinterested in our plight and showed no empathy. It took great effort to locate another hotel. Never again.

I give Five Towns a 5 for staffing. Customer service outstanding, front desk Sean and the two men who was on after him, showed great care for customers as well as the van drivers. Thank you. Housekeeping team very concern, 'is there anything you need please let us know" Thank you. I have stayed at 5 stars and some of this service is never offered. What needs improving, coffee needs to be bit hotter, boil eggs, package oatmeal, package grits and meat need to be added to breakfast, everyone is not a cold cereal and cream cheese on a roll. Still, thank you for your service.

The hotels are a good size and pretty cheap. They have breakfast every morning and its nice and cozy.

Would give 4 but I was only there 5 hours and they charged me full price for a day. Pretty cool old place. Simple but classy and well maintained.

We booked their room with Agoda, lied when we said there was no room, said the Agoda system out of the situation, asked us to find agoda ourselves check out, there are no restaurants around, ask the counter Lady to help, and then very coincidentally, the counter said that there is just one room, but we use more expensive to stay.
The more you feel wrong after your stay, call Agoda to help deal with it, Agoda says the hotel sometimes does this and can only continue to communicate.
The next day check-out result is another higher price!
We ask for credit card sign not to sign, call to ask the credit card bank to say what can be disposed of, ask only the hotel whether or not your signature, can receive the collection Agoda said there is no way to deal with this hotel, will continue to cooperate, can only give us some concessions. So the evaluation of a star, hope that no one is deceived, this hotel foreigners must be absolutely unable to go to the housing!

Hotel nice, clean room, reception is ok, breakfast is not very good (bananas, breads, cereal and coffee). The driver at the airport that picked me and a family up was extremely rude. Didn't offer to help anyone with their bags and didn't talk to anyone. When we got to the hotel he was the same way. One person asked a question about the airport and he just said to ask someone else. He didn't even open the door for the luggage to be unloaded. The driver in the morning was much better.

Catch up with the New York Blizzard after the airport paralyzed, temporarily booked the hotel. The hotel is also well-served, with free meals, water and drinks in the lobby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There are several fast food restaurants around the hotel that are convenient. The airport transfer service is very good, advance booking, accurate delivery to the designated terminal. Is the heater of the room is relatively loud. But it looks like the American Inn is the same. Overall praise.

The place is in a good location. Close to many places to shop and eat. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The front desk attendant that does the night shift was rude. That's the reason for the 3 stars.

When you booked their room with Agoda, you lied to us that you didn't have a room to check out, and then you asked us to stay at a higher price, and the next day was another fake money. Agoda said there was no way to dispose of the restaurant and would continue to work together. So evaluate a star and hope that no one else will be able to go to housing!

This place is great, the rooms are larger than some peoples bedrooms. This place clean and breakfast is great. I have been there several times and will be back there again.

Spent 1 night as the flight was cancelled. The Room was paid by the airline company, so I can not say anything about the price. But the room is large with a large bed, in the bathroom you will find toiletries and of course a hair dryer. In The lobby you can have coffee and treat yourself to donuts (if they stay). Complaints No.

This independent Inn was a pleasant surprise. Staff was attentive and the facility was spotless in all areas. Clean fresh rooms and 24/7 lobby refreshments. Morning free breakfast was very good. Highly recommended!

I love this place for the price. The shuttle service is unmatched. They took me to the gym, train station and back and forth from the hotels within the span of hours. For the price, the quality is unbeatable and there's a Popeye's Chicken and Burger King Within 100ft and a much larger shopping mall within a thousand feet.

If you have an overnight layover at JFK this place is perfect. They pick up and drop off to the airport and run the process like a week pulled machine. We actually scheduled sperate flights and stayed at this hotel for cheaper than a direct flight from Europe to Tampa. This left us with a 12 hour over night break at JFK and we got to sleep at this hotel. Breakfast is included and if you need to get to the airport before breakfast starts they even have some light snack pastries available for you. Perfect JFK layover hotel.

Stayed for a wedding with a lot of the other wedding guests. Check in was great management seemed to be trying to do everything to accommodate the completely booked Hotel. The room was pretty clean there was old food in the refrigerator and no towels in the bathroom and when we asked her towel we were told we could only get a couple when I needed at least two for myself with long hair and two for my boyfriend for that night and the next day didn't want to keep having to ask was only given 2. The housekeeping staff just seemed annoyed the entire time. The beds were hard and I have a bad back it was like extra hard I'm glad I brought my own pillow just made myself a little more comfortable.

Great value for NY. Johnny made check-in a breeze and was very hospitable. The rooms were not extravagant but were very clean and the bed was nice. Overall a very pleasant stay. Id definitely recommend to anyone needing a place for the night close to JFK airport.

Just needed a place to sleep near JFK with shuttle and free Wi-Fi. It was great for that. The room was adequate; bed, good; supplies, limited but plentiful; a/c, very good; free breakfast, quite limited; shuttle driver, excellent; and the room key never worked for us.

They sent us on a very dangerous, wild goose chase to find the shuttle. We were at JFK terminal 4 at 10:15pm, I called the hotel and a douche named Johnny told us we had to walk over to terminal 5 to catch the shuttle. It was a very dangerous walk on a dark, dank ass road next to the highway on one side and barb wire on the wall next to us to stop people from getting to the planes. We finally get to terminal 5 to find out the shuttle was leaving terminal 4 where we just came from. I was pissed and told the shuttle driver and the desk clerk who just laughed. It took over 1 hour from the time I called to the time we got the the hotel. Then, we get to the room and the bathroom towel had a big stain on it. I spoke with the owner by phone, she wanted to talk to her people and claimed the General Manager would call me the next day but, of course, nothing. Very very poor experience. Absolutely avoid this place at all costs. Seriously.

Friendly staff. Tucked away in the middle of mayhem. Off street parking included. Walking distance to shops. Our breakfast was included. Surprising find in a pass through area just by JFK. They have an Airport Shuttle!

This was my first trip to New York so I was iffy about everything. Thankfully I booked this place. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room we booked was clean and nice looking and they offered shuttles to the airport and train station nearby. Next time I head to New York, I'm booking this place.

Very responsive shuttle service. It took only 15mins to arrive after we called the hotel front desk, even though we arrived at 2315hrs. Hotel room is clean and everything is in good condition.

I liked a lot the hotel, the service is very good, about the food, well I just need to say that you can drink free milk, juice or watter at all time, and that goes also for pancakes The rooms are comfortabe, and very clean. I recommend it.

This hotel deserve more than a five star. I enjoyed my stay here it's so peaceful and quite and the cleanliness of the place is superb. Room service and front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in you feel a sense of warmth in the atmosphere. I would definitely recommended the five town inn.

I come here twice a year for work. Very friendly, comfortable not fussy. Lots of retail, and restaurants in walking distance, or they will take you local. Hard to get in and out of, busy road. Airplanes land over your head (which I love to watch) very quiet inside.

If you are in need of a quick place to sleep, not bad place to stay.

Location is good as it is close to the airport. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are consistently clean as I've stayed here many times. Heavy trucks which cross the adjacent bridge, shutter the foundation of the hotel and feels like an earthquake. The bath towels could also be a little bigger… other than that. Good place.

Nice clean hotel with very cozy rooms. Was a bit expensive. Over 150 for one night but I enjoyed my stay.

Very nice place located a bit off the airport. Clean rooms, and breakfast. There is plenty of shopping and places to eat nearby. Staff is very friendly and very helpful with directions.

I was nervous about staying in an unknown hotel like five towns but after reading the positive reviews for this hotel and the bad reviews of the surrounding hotels I gave it a shot. Well after spending the night I would like to report that five towns inn gets two thumbs up. Very clean, modern decor. Courteous staff.

Good hotel for the price and quality. There is free parking. No swimming pool or other facilities but they will take you to a local gym. There is no charge. Plus they will drive you in their van. There is a 24 hour coffee, tea, water, cakes, and more. There is a continental breakfast in the morning including cereal and yogurt. The staff is extremely nice. They started renovations. Not sure if they are all finished. Elevator and handicapped rooms. Nice place. Well located.
