I gave it 3 stars because when we got there my mom showed her the phone which had the conformation number from a reservation placed for a king and sofa bed on a higher floor through AAA Travel. The woman handed us two room keys to a room on the GROUND FLOOR. We went into the room and saw a double bed. That was the only bed. We proceeded back to the front desk and was told that was the room we reserved and it doesn't matter whether you put 1 or 5 people on there, you get what you reserve. The lady had a really bad attitude. Multiple towels were 3dirty, the rollaway cot that we had to get 2had snot and was dirty. The only good thing was the guy at the desk after the lady and left and the janitor guy who brought us our pillows and the cot. The breakfast was also very nice. The TV broke because of a rain storm. The office was right next to out room, we shared a wall. They were banging all night. My mom was refunded the full price payed and Customer Satisfaction is definitely guaranteed in the end we got a free but not so good hotel visit. It was free, so I can't really complain…

Very impressed! Bed was very comfortable as was the sofa sleeper. Accommodating. Super breakfast. Hampton Inn by Hilton. My only issue was the first floor carpet was dingy; time to replace, AND they were already booked for one year out for my next family reunion,

Best price on short notice which is my top concern. Most hotels charging 30%more. Room was very clean. Breakfast and breakfast area was impressive to be included in room price. This is my new favorite hotel for all future visits!

Amenties A great place to stay… Nice staffs, delicious food, friendly service and very clean house keeping. I enjoyed my stay… Hats off to all front desk staffs.

Depending on how my visit today goes will determine whether I give it the next 2 stars and write a better review. It was nice but it got bad cuz we as human allow our impulses to get the best of us and sometimes fail to behave like a chivalrous gentleman who with his words demonstrate a certain demeanor that allows those around them, a feeling of security in being themselves. Apologies if my presence wasn't that of a man who is well versed in the art of charming a person into friendship.

Please Read **** There are plenty of good reviews but please look at all the 1 star reviews. They all have one thing in common. Hearing everything through the walls… The walls are very very thin, I don’t sleep with a TV on or anything. I can hear every single thing possible in the room next to me. Bags opening, Arguing, Brushing teeth, Burping, Crying And talking. (Yes at one point some serious crying was going on for at least 20 minutes, then they argued about what to eat for dinner then we heard them eating their dinner. Me and my wife just drove 19 hours thinking this was going to be a nice quiet, relaxing night. Honestly can’t be mad at the neighbors I can only be upset with the hotel itself. This is my vacation, all me and my wife wanted was some privacy. If we can hear all of that it really makes things awkward for us. Me and my wife are walking around and talking like ninjas so they don’t hear us. The price of the hotel and the nice staff gave them that second star but I cannot go any higher than 2. My entire week is spiraling out of control because of how thin these walls are. Me and my wife are contemplating ending this vacation tomorrow because of how upset we are about this. All I can think about is poor people in the room next to us when our infant wakes up at 2-3AM and starts crying for food. They might leave a 1 star review also.

Clean comfortable. Front desk personal outstanding in fact everyone did an outstanding kob. Breakfast was good and attendants keep food fresh and cleaned up fast. Very satisfied.

I love this hotel. The rooms were very clean, the alarm clock had usb charging ports for my electronics. It’s an easy on/off on Long Island Expressway I still give it a five but almost a four star because the breakfast was nothing to rave about. I wish the room had a recycling bin for my empty bottles of water. Or maybe the hotel could put one in the lobby.

I have always tried to use this location when I am up on the island in this vicinity. The staff is very professional the rooms are well apportioned and clean and breakfast is always delicious. Easy on and off the Long Island Expressway and they are able to handle parking for 26 foot box truck. There is the additive advantage that Penske has a service department right in back of the hotel which makes anyone traveling through the area with a Penske truck in good care. There is a shopping mall within walking distance that has some excellent restaurant choices and overall this is a very good location. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

Great place! Fantastic staff… and this is the most accommodating hotel I've stayed at. I am here with a big company and they really do everything they can to make sure we are happy. They even have breakfast 1hr early because that's what time we have to leave. The swimming pool is indoors and very nice, and it is heated and stays very warm! also right next the that they have a great little workout room! Ice and Vending machines also located on every floor. There was a snow storm and some of the staff even helped me remove the snow from around my car! I just definitely recommend this place, very cozy and accommodating to every need!

I've always enjoyed the Hampton Inn. They have great rooms at a good cost. Things are tidy and kept well. The service is amazing!

Great place! Clean with very friendly staff. Went above and beyond to accommodate us. Even when pool was closed they made sure my kids could swim and have fun.

Nice staff. Some rooms are nicer than others. I've stayed in a few of them, and if it is facing the highway be prepared to listen to obnoxious New Yorkers driving by all night.

Friendly reception upon arrival even at 11 p. M. Clean room with all the necessities (shampoo, lotion, towels, etc. ), comfy beds with plenty of pillows, large t. V. Refrigerator and coffee. No complaints about breakfast, stocked and fresh foods. Would gladly return!

Really nice hotel! Stayed for a wedding, rooms were clean and beds were really comfortable. Front desk at check in was very nice and helpful, even with a bit of a name mix up on our end, she was very friendly and understanding.

Great price but and the service was great. They supplied toothbrushes when we forgot ours. My only complaint would be that the room had an unpleasant odor. It was only noticeable when you entered the room.

Pleasant staff, clean rooms. I always enjoy my stay when I'm here for work. Gym is a little outdated but otherwise has the basics.

Really nice and quiet even though there is supposed to be construction. The ice machines werent all working but we saw people working on them in a fast fashion. Really clean and we got a nice corner room. Front desk personnel were really nice and willing to help. I heard one of them asking an employee to go with a woman to make sure her key worked, so very hospitable.

We are regulars at the Hampton Inn where ever we travel for good reason. With only a few exceptions, the experience is always very good. This stay so far has been no different. The girl at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful and the room clean and neat. The hotel itself is a little older but is currently under renovation — not imposingly so. Another great experience for us.

Great location, great rooms, great service. The location is right off the highway, so it's not so bad getting here. We went to the Vanderbilt mansion and it was only about a 30 minute drive. The rooms are nice and clean, good channels on the TV, the staff do a good job cleaning up. Free Wi-Fi which is great and they have cookies, coffee, and tea in the lobby 24/7 — which is actually awesome. The pool is pretty small, only 4.5 ft deep, but I mean there's beaches right nearby so whatever. The breakfast is from 7-10am and it's pretty nice. Our selection was scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, bagels, yogurt, and a waffle iron. Would stay here again.

The staff is well trained. They always addressed me by my name whenever I was in town. Rooms were spotless and the beds were so soft. They keep the very high standards of the chain.

I was given a room with adjoining room attached, although, the door was closed the sounds of occupants opening their food could be heard while I was tucked in my bed. I could later hear (2 AM) the occupants trying on different dresses and debating which they look better in. Called the front desk to ask that they go over to the room and them to be quiet and the front desk asked me what room #. I told them the adjoining room, but they still asked me where. Still waiting for them to go over (10 minutes) and we are less than 100 feet from the office.

Very impressive upscale feel to the Hotel. The room was spotless and a nice breakfast is included.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent service and delicious breakfast. Great stay right off the 495, close to great local restaurants and bars.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were extremely clean. Our only issue was with the heat/AC unit. The room was smoldering when we first arrived. After 30 minutes of fiddling with the thermostat, we realized it did not control the unit. Otherwise, the stay was very pleasant.

The Hampton Inn employees provided good information organized and detailed service often when needed and good breakfast as well in the morning.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Hampton Inn hotel rooms continue to impress me. Comfy bed, classy room, modern bathroom, etc. The only issue is the thinness of the walls. If you're thinking about staying, request a room on the fourth floor that's an odd number (odd numbers face the back, even numbers face 454). Overall, it was clean and comfortable. I will definitely return!

Staff was pleasent. However, cold showers regardless of time of day, thin walls between rooms, leaking bathroom sink trap and improperly attached and loose bathroom fixtures gives this recently renovated hotel a run down feel. Time for a new maintenance person I think!

There Islandia Hampton Inn has become my base of operations when I'm on the island. The staff is wonderful. The accommodations are clean and inviting and the breakfast is outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch stay.
