Reviews of Motel 6-Albany, NY 2*
This motel was the worst I’ve ever been to. If I could, I would give them zero stars. The sheets were dirty and had hair all over them. There were multiple cigarette burns in the blankets and sheets. One hole had tried to be covered up. My feet stuck to the floor when I walked. The room obviously hadn’t been cleaned. And there were drugs being dealt right outside our room in all hours of the night.
The room had a dirt on the floor. Didn't look like it was swept. When pulling back the bed covering, you could tell that the bed had been sat/laid in before our arriving in the room. The bathroom had mold on the walls/ceiling of the tub. There was hair in the tub and on the walls in the tub. The sink in the bathroom had no lever for the drain. You had to push the plug down, but then there was no way to lift the plug. The sheets on the bed felt dirty. We had 2 rooms, and the other room didn't have a functioning TV.
The non smoking room I had smelled like smoke. The smell of weed filled the hallways. The ice machine was broken along with the vending machines. One microwave for the the whole hotel. The back of the property looks like a nuclear dumping ground. Some of the front desk personnel need customer service training. The good thing about the hotel is it's location. This is what $60 a night gets you.
The Albany NY Motel 6, had a wonderful night clerk. Even though I needed a handicap accessible room and all they had was a 2nd floor room she helped me to it. I got woken up at 8 am banging on the door when checkout wasn't until 11. I went to the lobby to get some coffee and they had already put everything away. I went to the vending machine and discovered it only took cards. I asked for help getting my bag down and was told that I would have to do it my self. My ride was running late and had gotten lost so I sat in the lobby waiting from 11 to 230 with nothing to eat and I had no why to walk anywhere. I asked if I could use the restroom and was told no. Then the clerk told me that I needed to figure something out soon that I could not keep sitting in the lobby. The chairs where to small for a plus size person as well. I won't recommend motel 6 # 1461
First when I checked in they gave me a room that was occupied. After fixing this issue I asked for a non smoking room, however as I walked the hallway to my room it smelled like cigarettes. In the non-smoking part of the hotel. In the bathroom in of my room it smelled like cigarettes. Only the cleaning lady had a smile to offer. The rest of the staff including the Manager on duty when I checked in did not offer a warm greeting or a smile to welcome me. Everyone looked like they did not want to be there. They just took my money and gave me the wrong key. Next time I will try the Ramada across the street.
Nice staff and price but the rooms must be cleaned better! Sheets have hair clumps and sock lint — but after speaking with the front staff and getting newly opened sheets, I see that all their sheets have hair and lint. This may be due to overloaded washers — just a guess. Either that or they just didn't change the sheets.
The hotel was what I had expected for a lower cost reservation. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Was fine for a single night stay.
I had a problem with my first room but once I spoke to the lovely young lady she made sure I had a new Rm n then told me to come speak with the manager. I did the next morning not looking to get anything out of my next night but she made sure to offer me a free night for the mistakes. I will stay at this spot again.
Not so great. Hallway smelled like cat pee. Room floors were dirty. But bed was comfortable and staff was friendly.
My room was very clean. This is probably the cleanest Motel 6 I have ever been in. The only problem I really seen was they have people who live there mostly on the first floor I stayed on the second floor. My room was very clean and very basic. But like everything else in life you get what you pay for, there is no coffee in your room there is one microwave in the lobby that anyone can use. The staff was extremely nice during check-in and during checkout. I had one problem with my room, the TV didn't work, and they immediately changed my room. I think the staff was great. If you're looking for a good night sleep for a day or two or three, and don't want to spend a lot of money, this is a great spot to go. There is a Diner less than a mile away.
Reserved a 4 night stay, front desk receptionist not warm or welcoming, glass was broken in back hallway and then cleaned up by sweeping it just outside door. Funny smell in room. Cigarette burns on blanket and few on the toilet seat in a non smoking room. Left for work after 3rd night when I returned around 7pm housekeeping had started to clean up or something because towels and shower curtain were thrown on floor by door. Not to mention there was very limited water pressure and the Wi-Fi I paid for in addition to my room kept kicking me off and requesting password again and again until I just gave up. Had stayed here in past but after this time very unlikely to stay there again.
The staff were really polite and helpful, but the room was gross. There was nail polish (I'm hoping? ) on the bathtub and the night stand. There were people yelling in the hallway for the whole night. We had no sleep, so we got up and left at 5am. Very terrible stay but I guess thats what we get for paying $60 for a room.
Amazing service at this hotel! For a budget hotel the staff was incredibly courteous! The rooms were clean and sizeable. Great, easy to find location with plenty of amenities nearby. Will stay here again :)
I was in Albany to visit my dad at St. Peters hospital. I booked the first two nights on line. Had to stay one more day after. So I walked in booked a room for the last night. Into early morning hours I was itching. Got up to check and I was being bitten by bed bugs how disgusting had bed bug bites all to my left arm. Don't think I'll be visiting that one out in Albany anymore.
To tell you the truth I've never been more disappointed in a night in a hotel in my entire life and I've stayed in many many many hotels. Supposedly I was put in a non-smoking wing of the hotel. My room stink of smoke and the smoke permeated throughout the whole hotel and into my room the entire night to the point that I could not even sleep. My blanket had cigarette Burns through it. The Sheets Were old and dirty. I went downstairs in the middle of the night to tell the woman at the front desk that it was disgusting and she said sorry about that. In the morning the other woman that was at the front desk offered to give me 10% of my bill back. Well this was a nice gesture I purposely left at 7 in the morning just to get out of there because the smell was absolutely disgusting.
The place was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a little run down though. Could use a little sprucing up.
I now have an idea what it’s like to be in jail. The windows don’t open, the other ‘guests’ scream and slam doors, fight and / or have dance parties in the hallway all night long — then wake each other up at 7am by banging and screaming on each other’s doors. The people inside the doors shout “What! ” then they get up and start banging their doors and screaming, too. The bedsheets had burn holes, the whole place has a weird gross stink, the ‘heater’ is louder than a Harley Davidson and turns on and off every minute, but on the bright side is it kind of distracted from the constant banging and yelling. If you want to use this place as hotels are traditionally used, as a place to sleep, you’d be best to pay $10 or $20 more to go somewhere else. But if you’re into banging things and yelling all night long, or if you like torturing yourself in hell-holes, this is the place for you!
Upon arrival at the hotel, I was assigned to a room with broken safety latch, broken towel hanger and an unclean and sticky desk with no single towel or wash cloth. I immediately went to the front desk and requested a different room. I was told there was no room available and that if I don't like the room, I can get my money back. The problem with that is that all the area hotels were fully booked because of events going on in the area at the time and I could not find a different accommodation in a different hotel that night for the two days of my stay in Albany. Meanwhile, I stood in the lobby and watched as rooms were being assigned to guest that arrived after me. I asked why? I was told it is because the rooms has been assigned to those guests who had reservation. I reminded them that I too had reservation for more than two months but they would not change the room for me. I was confused as to what was going on. I insisted that they change the room for me but instead I was accused of raising my voice and that they remembered me from my previous stay as a trouble maker. They claimed that I called what she keep referring to as "corporate" and got some kind of money or coupon or discount from corporate. All these accusations were foreign and a total shock to me as I never had any trouble with the hotel before or called "corporate" or got any money or coupon as a result of any kind of issue as they claimed.
The good part of my experience was that there was free hot nice coffee every morning, and the staff were quite friendly and always willing to help as best as they could. The sad part was that despite my request, my room wasn't cleaned for the three days and three nights I spent there. There was no fridge, bathing soap, or remote control for the TV. There was only a single pillow in a room with two beds. But by far the most ridiculous condition I faced was having to pay for Wi-Fi in a hotel in 2018. It doesn't happen anywhere in the world!
I stayed here Feb 2017 during a major conference. This hotel was in tough shape. The rooms are spacious but smell of smoke and have smoke burns in the bed sheets. I was disappointed in this hotel. However, the front desk staff was very helpful and easy-going.
They deserve a 0 Star — non smoking room reeked of smoke. Halls smelled of weed. Bed sheet has burn mark on it and bed cover very very stained. Toilet paper roll empty. No free Wi-Fi. No screens on windows — which you have to keep open to try and get rid of the smoke smell. Filthy windows. Mold in bathroom — loud yelling in rooms and if the room did not have a chain and dead bolt I would not have felt safe staying here.
Was almost impressed. The price is so affordable. Furniture is cute despite the price I paid. Had the perfect view of my car from my room. The man at the front desk was nice and helpful. But the employees who wash the bed sheets and towels need to get it together or the motel needs to replace them. Every single last one of my towels were dirty or had random hairs in it. Somebody is being lazy and this needs to be addressed. I would come back if I had no other choice to BUT check my bed and towels before using anything! The motel should be affordable and decent. I shouldn't feel like I'm getting what I paid for. I was told I'd have clean towels within 30 mins. 2 hours later I'm waiting on the same towels just so I can shower and leave.
My room wasn't clean, the floor wasn't mopped. The door to my room broke and for smoking rooms should have an air purifier, also the bed need thicker or warmer comforter for the beds. But overall it's a good place to stay. Prices are good and I can keep my dog with me.
The staff was nice but my stay was unpleasant. When getting to the second floor all I could smell was cigarette smoke, in my room as well. I don't know if smoking was allowed in that hotel but that's all I smelled. The desk had crumbs on it, must be from the previous person that booked the room. The toilet was not wiped clean. It looks like the trash bags were replaced, the shower/sink cleaned, bed made and that was all. For $60, yes it was cheap to stay at compared to the surrounding hotels, but I was not impressed by the cleanliness and the aroma. Being said, if you need a cheap place to stay, this is it. But don't expect the cleanliness of a Hilton or Microtel for that matter.
I love Motel 6! It's the best value for the money. It's always clean and well run. The staff is always very professional and courteous. My only complaint is that you charge for Wi-Fi and there is not enough of them around.
Great Staff Negative Point the attendance of the hotel which does not respect very much. Poor room. Cigarette hole in the bathroom sheets broken and dirty picture of the site does not match the bathroom of the room.
They deserve a 0 Star — non smoking room reeked of smoke. Halls smelled of weed. Bed sheet has burn mark on it and bed cover very very stained. Toilet paper roll empty. No free Wi-Fi. Will not stay here again. I stay in a lot of the Motel 6 around the country. This place has gone down hill since the last time I stayed there. I hardly ever complain. But seeing you sent the survey. It smelled inside the hall ways. Bed covers where very dirty. Stained Vending machines did not work good. Laundry took most of my coins before it worked. Seemed like a poor management.
Another day here. Take. Week and a half… The first week I didn't get housekeeping until I asked… This second week I have asked twice for change of sheets and no one appears… I went to the counter and tell me that when renting Poe a week or more, service twice in a week which is not true, the first week I had to go down to ask and this week I have requested the service twice and AU. I'm still waiting. Other than that, they have the gall to say that the board appears as we reject the. Service, which is ridiculous, when everyone knows us then we are going to find the towels or that enter… It is disappointing that the cleaning service is so bad…
The hotel is fantastic, the staff are exceptional, only the staff that cleans my room is disappointing, I had to take the garbage and towels to the hallway and even so I touch the door to give me more, I had to lower the counter to ask and I asked for change Sheets already on two occasions and have not yet come, the first I had to go pal of times to come and apparently this second time, it will be the same. Frustrating. Yesterday the ice machines had no ice and still today are not working, we asked yesterday and we were told that yesterday they were coming to repair them and we are still drinking hot water. I've got several days to see how it goes.
I was very disappointed in my stay. This will mine and my friend's last stay. I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the last 3 yrs, which is as many times that I've stayed in the area. This is the worst the place has ever looked. When we pulled into the parking lot, the police were questioning a couple and searching they're vehicle. The first time I wash my hands in the bathroom, I grab the towel and the towel bar falls right off the wall. The black vent on the a/c unit was broken off and the corner piece was still attached and there's cigarette burns on the tubs. I then go next door to my friend's room that I paid for as well. She had a nice orange paint scheme that her comforters matched. Her room was so nice to be in. When I retire to my room for the evening, I realize my room is a bumpy surface painted white and very tacky. I also did not have comforters so I pulled the sheet and blanket off of the spare bed. We both even found garbage under the beds in our rooms. I paid the same price for both rooms and one was clearly worse off than the other.
The young man working at the front desk was very pleasant. The room was awful. The floors were dirty with gummy residue in places. There was ash on one of the lampshades. The door didn't work right. The room smelled strongly of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The clothes I wore smelled like cigarette smoke the next day. I arrived late at night with my daughter and two young children. It was too late to try to find another place to stay, or we would have left immediately. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
It is a dump but at least it is inexpensive ($60/night in New York). Worth the price paid, but the price paid was cheap. CO alarm in room was disassembled, and the smoke alarm was detached from the wall. Strong smell of smoke in the corridor (the room was OK provided the window was not opened). No carpeting in rooms. Sink had a restricting nozzle, so almost no water flow (
The man working the front desk was very nice. Beyond that I do not have much positive feedback. The whole motel smelled of smoke. We had a non-smoking room, but the room still smelled. We spent as little time as possible in the room. We arrived mid-evening, went out for an extended dinner and left as soon as we awoke in the morning. Our clothes that were in our bags the whole time even smelled of smoke. My daughter found a burn whole in the sheets on one of the beds. My hair smelled of smoke and I would've taken a shower, but when we lifted the bath mat to place in on the floor, there was a dirt footprint on the mat.
Location is near the highway, which is convenient, but there's not much around. The place itself is rundown and the rooms aren't updated at all. The tile in the rooms seems a bit sticky. Honestly the sheets are clean, so if you just need a bed it's not the worst place, but there are definitely better in the area for a similar price.
The location was fine (off the interstate and across from an excellent food co-op) but overall this was the worst motel experience we have ever had. The building itself is not a standard motel layout, wıth only two or three shared doors to access the parking lot, rather than your car being by your door. This is quite disconcerting, and was made more so by the fact that people were hanging out in the parking lot, sitting in their car with the doors open, as well as someone else seemingly using their window as a makeshift door. The condition of the parking lot and the driveway were appalling, with lots of massive potholes making it a treacherous drive and park. Inside was not much better. Firstly, we were given a smoking room without being asked. It was horrible and we were moved to another room upstairs. Unfortunately this made little difference. The whole building was suffused with smoke and felt unclean and grimy. Our bathroom was in a state of disrepair, there were strange stains on one of the pillows. When we went to turn the TV on, there was no remote, and when I went to call reception to ask for a replacement, I found the phone was broken! Needless to say, when I went down to reception they had no remote controls, just a jumbled drawer of broken ones. To be honest, this was typical of the reception area — the staff were helpful enough but the area behind the desk was a tip, littered with all kinds of debris.
Very friendly and helpful employee at the desk. The room is nonsmoking but smells slightly light cigarettes. I don't mind because I am a smoker anyhow. The room is actually VERY nice for a hotel in this price range. Floors not the cleanest. Nothing fancy about room but definitely UPDATED AND MODERN. Pet friendly but does not smell like dog which is a HUGE plus. MORE THAN WORTH THE MONEY and I would let my kids stay here for sure.
The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is that it is right next to the Honest Weight Food Co-op. It provides a safe haven for when the extreme debauchery and despair that emanates from the rooms becomes too overwhelming. While technically this place is cheaper than any other motel in the area, you have to pay $5/day for internet that barely works and you can only have one device hooked up at a time which makes it about as expensive second worst motel in Albany. While their lack of a deposit my seem like a perk, it isn't. You could clearly see on the door where the lock had been ripped off and reattached in multiple locations, the bed spreads all are riddled with holes from heroin addicts nodding out with lit cigarettes, the fire alarms are constantly going off with no response from staff, and housekeeping could regularly be heard yelling back and forth to each other things like "check out what they did in here. It looks like someone took a hammer to the toilet. " I do have to acknowledge that they are pet friendly here, but to be fair, dogs are probably some of the cleaner and respectable guests that stay here. It also helps make up for the lack of safes in each room. If you appreciate a good continental breakfast, the staff will be more than happy to point to the Ramada Inn across the street where you can eat for free so long as nobody notices.
I really rely on Motel 6. Though the past few times I've made reservations, I wouldn't get the room I requested due to overbooking. I've come to expect hair in the towels, but this time there was no soap in my bathroom. My ac/heater worked, so that was a plus. The side of town the motel is located at gets a bad rap but I've never felt unsafe there. The staff are really nice and I'm usually only there for one night. The one piece of advice I'd give is it's okay to get people a room a little later if you take the time to actually make the room really clean and ready. I don't mind waiting if it means my room will have soap, clean towels, etc. For the price I pay, though, staying here is a pretty good deal. I personally don't need my accommodations to be a luxurious experience, just safe and reliable. And… preferably clean and prepared.
Cons: Stayed here for two nights, checked out after the first night and then checked back in for the next. Both of my rooms were disgusting. The first room I had the maid come back in and sweep the whole place out because there was crumbs and other such stuff all over the floor and dresser tops. The bathroom faucet had toothpaste spit remaining from the previous guest, and when I tried to clean it, the handle fell off. I also had her change the sheets and comforter because it didn't look like it had been changed in a while. Second room was worse then the first. It looked like a barber salon because there was so much hair all over the floor. Because I checked in late, I went to the front desk and asked for a brook and dustpan, and some extra wash clothes to clean the place. She also gave me some cleaning solution. So nice of her. So I spent the next 30 minutes of my time cleaning this room, which I am sure is the first time it's been cleaned in weeks. Pros: $50/night. You get what you pay for.
The lady at the desk was really friendly and helpful, but that's sadly the only positive note I can think of about this Motel 6. The parking lot is messy, the hallway is dark and smelly, and worst of all the room was really dirty with stains all over the place, especially the floor and (worst of all) the bed cover. The linen were thankfully ok. It's ok for a cheap night if you're alone, but this place is absolutely not recommended for couples or families.
The sheets were dirty. The sheets had cigarettes burns even thought it was a non-smoking room. The bathroom mirror had big black burn marks. The drain on the bathroom sink was down and there was noway to pull it back up so the water was just stuck there. The toilet was DIRTY. I definitely put a towel on the seat before using it. I wore sandals to take a shower. The didn't even have soap to shower with.
Called this hotel on May 12, 2016 from New Hampshire and made a reservation for May 14. My wife and I arrived on May 14 and they said the reservation was made for May 12. I would not make a reservation for the same day I called from NH. We asked if we were charged for that stay and they said no. They lied. This hotel is dirty and appears to have people living there. When we left a guy offered us his room for $100, he was driving back to Watertown NY, he said his wife would not sleep at this hotel, and he couldn't find any rooms anywhere. We turned down the offer, went across the street and the Ramada rooms available. I believe the guy was setting us up to take our $100, and I am sure if we had… the hotel would have said we never had a reservation for that guy. Stay away from this place!
We walked in and the door was all covered in fingerprints. We were greeted by a staff member, can't tell you their name since no-one was wearing name tags. I had a discount code that I was told to use upon arrival and was told I couldn't use it. The first room we were taken to was dirty, the floor hadn't been cleaned, there was dirt all over the dresser, bathroom had hair everywhere. Went down to the desk to complain we waited 20 minutes to get another room. This room was cleaner but still not clean. It smelled like smoke so bad my throat was burning even though it was a smoke free room. I will never go there again and recommend you don't either.
The worst place I have ever stayed bar none. It is filthy, loud, a guy tried to force his way into my room claiming to be house keeping. There is zero security here. No fridge, no microwave, no carpet, the bead spreads have cigarette burns in them and even the no smoking rooms smell like a giant cigarette. The management must be blind or dead. If you're a woman or have small children please book a room somewhere else. The only plus to this place is the lady at the front desk does her job well. Even a budget hotel should be able to afford a vacuum cleaner.
I'm currently here and they are terrible. I called the front desk and told them the toilet didn't flush and the sink clogged. I was told to cone down and get a plunger. The remote in the room doesn't work for the TV, if you run water in the sink it clogs with spit and some brown stuff. The bedding has all types of holes in it. Its suppose to have cable, you get about 14 channels, no light bulb in the lights. Should I keep going… They suck and than want you to pay for Wi-Fi.
I'm here right now been here 7 Days going on another 7 days and the room service is the worst had to put my own sheets on the bed no one came and sweep mop or change my sheets, this morning police was called to the property 4 a domestic violence call, the Washing area had no soap but it took my dollar anyway the hallways smell like mold the workers at the front desk are very good at what they do but the hotel management needs to change paid a lot of money for the Wi-Fi it didn't work they will not refund me my money, I will not be telling anyone to use the hotel I will send them across the street to the Ramada Inn if I was not already paid up for another 7 days I would be going to the Ramada Inn myself never me again.
The hallways smell weird, kind of moldy, the room itself fortunately did not. The hotel staff was decent. The room itself was adequately clean except for a mysterious grease stain on the bedspread. Fine for a one night crash on a budget.
Served it purpose, I suppose. A place to stay. The lady at the front desk was very nice. One of the workers, I think he worked there, was parked improperly and taking up numerous spaces. I parked a space or 2 down from him and he actually asked me to move my car so he could improperly park in the opposite direction. I commented that maybe he should consider taking his road test again if he couldn't get out in the ample space he had. He agreed. I did move my car just to avoid any issues but it was in poor business practice to park that way and then ask me to move my car because you parked like a jerk. There was another guy working who was very nice and polite, asked if everything was ok with the room. The room itself was fine. I believe they charge for Internet access which sucks. The hallway reeked of Marijuana smoke which personally doesn't bother me but I could see how some people may not lIke it.
If you like a firm mattress. It was clean staff was great. A good stay.
Great staff, pet friendly, close to University. Beds were comfratable, rooms were clean — great value.
My family stayed in this hotel for one night and the moment I entered the room, I got disappointed. The room had a terrible smell of cigarettes and it was dark and dirty (not like in their website pictures). The bed sheets and towels were also so dirty that had to sleep in my cloth and use paper towel to dry myself in the morning. On top of that, we came home with bites that, as our doctor told us, weren't mosquito bites (possible bedbugs bites). They were pretty big and very itchy and every day became bigger, developing blisters that were weeping and later forming a hard crust. It is already more then a month since we stated there, but we, especially me — I was bitten the most, still have visible scars from the bites. We called the motel, and the manager, Beth was very apologetic and offered a refund and a gift certificate. Later, we received an email from them saying that they inspected the room and didn't find anything. They refused to send us a proof of inspection and of course never sent us any refund or gift certificate. The worst experience ever — wouldn't recommend it even to my enemies.
The girl at the front desk was very lovely and helpful. However, I was NOT HAPPY to find out that I had to pay $16 more for my daughter because she was over 16, when the BIG NEON sign advertises $53.99 and so does the web for 2 double beds. It was also VERY NOISY at night and in the morning… people talking loudly in the hallways, outside, at random times. Not the same people over and over that one would bother to complain about. AND DOORS slamming in the morning between 9 and 10 am… I had to wonder if it was housekeeping? AWFUL! very unpleasant stay and I use motel 6 all the time.
Saw 3 BIG roaches in 10 minutes. My room also reeked of cigarettes. We got our money back and went to a different hotel.
Walked through the door and it immediately smelled like smoke. The kid at the counter told me hed "cut me a deal" if I slipped him a couple bucks. His deal being what I thought I had already paid online. I told him no and went across the street to the Ramada. Didnt even make it to the room.
It was horrible, the staff was rude, and they did not have a room ready for us when we arrived, it was dirty in our room, a towel had already been used in the bathroom, and our doors would not lock. It was the worst experience I ever had, I took myself and my little sisters to the hotel across the street because I was so dissatisfied with this motel. I would not recommend this motel to anyone. I asked for a refund and they said they gave it to me but that was July 10 and today is July 18 and I still have not received my refund.
Friendly Staff, nice hotel with a good location.
This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. No shampoo. Stains everywhere. Cigarette burns. Gross coffee. No elevator. Rude staff. Smells awful. Beds are presumably made of hay.
This Motel 6 was part of our drive to the Adirondacks. We chose it for the price and convenience to the Interstate. I generally have OK experiences with Motel 6; in many ways this was one of the better, nicer ones in the chain. But it had a few flaws. Overall, the room was nicely furnished, clean, modern. Room had been made up neatly but several pieces of garbage, including a diaper container under the bed, escaped housekeeping's notice. Several fixtures in the room were broken, and a light bulb was missing or stolen from one of the bed lamps. My chief concern was the safety ball-lock on the door. It was straining at the screws and looked like it had been forced (or attempted) multiple times. The metal fixture was actually cracked in two and nearly out of its sockets! Despite these flaws, the room was comfortable, relatively clean, and an easygoing motel experience, so overall it was a good stay.
Had to spend a night in Albany — rooms were relatively clean. Bed sheet had some stains on it. No hot water at night — I guess too many people taking showers after sunset or something. Soon as I walked into the building, the customer service person behind the desk started swearing at some other customers and kept saying, "Yeah that's right I am rude customer service! " The motel had a weird smell to it. If you must stay the night, I guess it's not the worst you can do but don't have ANY expectations.
The place looks okay from a distance until you look closer. I asked for a no smoking room but it stinks bad of cigarettes and cheap cologne. There was something on the bed spread that looked like dried ejaculate. There were people walking through the parking lot casing cars. The other tenants would loudly slam the doors at all hours of the night.
My stay was fantastic as far as customer service, convience and room quality. I had an ample supply of toiletries and fresh linen. Basic accomodations met. Wake up calls, laundry room, ice machine and more. Aminities like tv, and internet service, state of the art room decor and electronics. Bright, quiet, clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I will check the mattress' name when I return next month. Who knew — honest, friendly and courteous staff from the front desk to the housekeeping.
Recently spent a night with my boyfriend who came in from out of town to visit for two days. We had a great time. The room was very clean and the faculty was very friendly. The woman at the front desk was caring enough to make sure I was okay because I was a little frazzled. The motel was located directly across from work, so I could go over quickly if they needed me for any reason. Everything was perfect. Great price for people on a budget, too.

Receptionist was welcoming and efficient. Room was ample for two queen size beds and clean. Bed was comfortable; shower was adequate. Location is convenient to interstate and short drive restaurants. First impressions are important, thus overflowing trash barrels and ashtrays, thus trash throughout parking area, was not helpful.
