I loved this hotel and hope to stay here again. It’s very clean and well kept up. They have a coffee/tea station on every floor each morning and the pool and hot tub were wonderful.

Beautiful hotel with nice bar and restaurant. Large patio with gas fire rings. By far the best feature was the view of the lake from the balcony.

The patio outside was a great place to eat and the fire pits were wonderful to sit around and meet new friends. Room was large and the bed was amazing! Best sleep in years. It could be the most beautiful hotel and have the best food and host amazing events BUT when a place requires proof of vaccination it's nothing short of GARBAGE. There isn't a single other venu in the area doing this and I will gladly take business elsewhere and spread the word.

Our experience at the Harbor Hotel was 10/10! Our suite had a beautiful lake view, comfy bed, and large area to relax in. The room was extremely clean, and decorated beautifully. The service was extraordinary from check in, all the way to the staff at the grill. We highly recommend this hotel! We will be staying again!

This hotel is beautiful, clean and relaxing. I love the coffee on all floors every morning. The chocolate on the bed everyday and the turn down services is so nice.

Beautiful hotel right on the lake. It does have a restaurant with bar on site. Located close to wineries, eateries, and shops. The service is spectacular. The rooms are spacious and modern. This one is a no brainer. Just book you won’t be disappointed.

We had a GREAT stay at the Harbor Hotel. Friendly, courteous employees throughout the entire hotel. What really amazed me was their prompt service. We checked out on Thursday around 11:00, on our drive home, about 2 hours into the trip, I realized I left 2 of my coats in the room. Called the hotel about 1:00 to see if they’d found them. They had them, and said they’d ship them out to my home. Amazingly, I received them the next day! Thank you for your incredible service! We’ll see you again, soon!

I don't know how this place only has 4.7 stars. This is a 5 star hotel 100% the staff is amazing the view is spectacular the room is unbelievable and the food is delicious what more could you ask for. A special shout out to the manager Christian you're awesome dude. I would highly recommend anyone take a vacation here.

Attended a beautiful wedding here. The food was delicious (filet), the specialty drinks were perfect, not too strong, very flavorful. And the view of Seneca lake is gorgeous! We arrived a little early for the event so we walked from the hotel patio to a pier that was a minute walk from the patio. What a beautiful venue with very accommodating and helpful staff, highly recommend this hotel!

Everything was impeccable! The staff was friendly, professional and attentive. Be sure to get a room on the lake side if possible, you won't be disappointed.

A well deserved 5 stars. I checked in for a night and was trying to get a room with a jacuzzi. The price in that room was $350 and the manager gave it to me for $199. Room was spacious and clean beds were comfortable.

Annual Rotary District meeting dinner was perfect in every way. The food, service and setting by the lake could not have been better! Job well done.

Incredible experience at this fantastic establishment. In my books a five-star facility with five star staff that look after your every need. The rooms and Views were phenomenal, and the gourmet food at their restaurant was fantastic. My husband and I stayed here for a ten year anniversary getaway. We stayed in a lake view balcony room and the room was well decorated and clean, and the view was unbeatable! The staff at the hotel were attentive to all of our needs. They even surprised us one day with a bottle of champagne for our anniversary! We had a wonderful trip and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay in the finger lakes. We will definitely return!

Stayed here for the second time. Staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Room was very clean and inviting. The whole experience was very relaxing. The room view on the lake side is beautiful. I would recommend a room with a balcony. We will be back.

The service is incredible, the staff is helpful and professional. The food at the Blue Pointe restaurant is great, the scallops are especially good. The young lady at the front desk, I wish I remembered her name, I think it might have been Sarah, is awesome and is a great representative of this business. Liam went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. 5 stars!

Just spent a night there for our 8yr anniversary. Had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entire place is maintained exceptionally well. The room was beautiful with an awesome view of the lake and a private balcony! Staff at the restaurant and bar were great as well and food was amazing! We are going to make this a yearly trip for sure. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I booked a room months ago for the Ice Bar this past Friday. We both work so we arrived about 6 pm. The man at the parking lot didn't have our name. I went in to the desk and we figured it out… they has his name wrong, then we went to park. For our very expensive room there was no parking close. We had to park at the marina. The man/kid at the other side of the parking lot said lot was full but we could " try at the marina". We did. We found a spot quite far away. We proceeded to carry our bags to the closest door. We were not allowed in, even with our Ice Bar tickets because we didn't have our bracelets yet. We carried our bags around to the front in the freezing cold and I went directly to the front desk. I told the man at the desk what had happened and he said he would "note" it and apologized. That's it. No discount for the stupidity of the person who took our reservation incorrectly or having no parking or having to carry our bags in the freezing cold all the way around the building despite our tickets. The room was beautiful. But customer service was NOT good.

Ice bar at the hotel was amazing. So many different food and dessert vendors, spoons with wine and bear tasting. The whole event benefited the red cross.

2 weekend overnights in the last month at the Harbor Hotel. The Lakeview rooms are worth the upgrade from the village view rooms. Easy walking distance to the Watkins Glens restaurants and bars. Friendly staff, great venue for events, love the large tiled walk in showers in the bathroom and the nightly turn down service. It's a great place to stay for a Finger Lakes visit. Keep an eye out for off-season weekday specials for the best values.

This place is elegance at every turn! So impressed with the staff here. We stayed in the admiral suite which is HUGE! Walk in shower and large jacuzzi tub. Bedroom is separated by triple doors that open either way and into a large living room. A balcony overlooking Seneca lake tops off this glorious room. Most rooms on the lake side don’t have the balcony but still have the awesome view. Nightly turndown service is the least of it. So nice. We will be back every year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel this past weekend, as with every previous visit. The 4th floor room we stayed in had a patio overlooking peaceful Seneca Lake. In the morning you can easily hear the sound of birds from the patio. The rooms are spacious and clean; the staff courteous, clean-cut, and professional. One small inconvenience this time was the fact that there was an event in the ballroom on Saturday evening and when I drove downtown to get food, there were no parking spaces available. I had to find public parking in an adjacent property and take a long walk to get back into the hotel. Still, it was 5 stars overall.

Beautiful location in Watkins Glen. Great view of the lake and all the staff there were just wonderful. It is a great location for just about everything, including going out or staying in. This hotel is gorgeous and one of the best in the area.

Joined a friend for a drink after work, good prices during happy hour. Beautiful view and in the winter they have a fire place going. Wish they had snacks on the bar, popcorn, pretzels. The male Bartender that day was very friendly and generally is. Other bartender not always so nice.

As a business owner in beautiful Watkins Glen, we have several visitors to the area asking where to eat. We recommend the Harbor Hotel with confidence that travelers (and locals) will love it. I host my staff meetings there along with business meetings, dinner with friends and many times, breakfast on Sundays with my family. Whether it is sitting in the bar area by the fire or out on the patio, this is my favorite place in Watkins to enjoy dinner, breakfast or just a nice glass of red wine.

Recently a few coworkers and I stopped at the hotel for lunch. Both the food and the service were very good. This was my second time at this hotel. The first time was for a wedding. The rooms and the service was exceptional.

Great location. Hotel is nice. Staff is friendly. However, I would not recommend this hotel for a quiet, peaceful stay during the "Deck the Halls" events at the wineries. Also, I would not recommend breakfast at Blue Pointe Grille.

This hotel was nice, clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and the grounds were pretty and we'll maintained. My only complaint is regarding the guest room doors. They stick when opening and closing causing them to slam when shut. They also have door knockers on the outside which rattle loudly when the doors are closed. This made it difficult to sleep when some got up early in the morning and left their rooms.

Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel is a great place to stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a friendly smiles and hellos. Any questions we’ve had about lake Seneca and things to do in the area were answered at the front desk. We got room service delivered to our room, and over the phone, the restaurant helped us pick a wine that would pair nicely with the cheese plate. They brought the food and wine in, opened and poured it for us. Again, they were friendly and greeted us with smiles. It was my fiancé’s birthday, and after I mentioned it, they helped set up champagne and balloons in our room with a card. The service at the restaurant was top notch. The rooms were clean and relaxing, there is coffee on each floor, and the service is outstanding. If you are looking for a place to stay, this is the place!

This hotel is right on the dock area of Seneca Lake. Rooms are outstanding. Stayed overnight. If you have to ask the cost of the rooms you may want to look for medium cost hotels. If you want to treat yourself for a special occasion this is the hotel to choose. Consider seasonal pricing.

Beautiful place. Friendly staff. Gorgeous view to wake up to. We told them when we called to make the reservation that it would be our anniversary… when we arrived there was an anniversary card and a bottle of champagne from the hotel!

We stayed here for our anniversary and I must say our dinner at their Blue Point Grille was outstanding. Our hotel room was clean with many amenities. My only complaint is that they do not have more available suites.

The location is great! It's right on the water and has beautiful views! The hotel is very nice and well maintained. A little pricey for the area though.

Great hotel! We've stayed there multiple times and always had a great experience. Make sure to get a room with a view of the lake, it's lovely to wake up to in the morning! Restaurant and bar are good, service is perfect. Hotel staff are all very nice and efficient.

The hotel has a beautiful location directly at the base of Seneca Lake (try booking a room early if you'd like a view from your room). There is a patio in the back of the establishment where you may dine while looking across the water. It's a perfect spot if you're taking a trip up the Finger Lakes to visit some wineries. Remember to travel safely!

The Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very courteous and helpful, plus they went out of their way to accommodate us in any way they could. The lake is right in front of the hotel. The gorge is very close. We loved our room and it was very clean. We would highly recommend choosing this hotel to stay in.

This might be my favorite hotel of all time. Don't pass on the opportunity to get a room with a balcony facing Seneca Lake. The view was so peaceful; I loved sitting out there and listening and watching as the evening came on. The room itself was beautifully decorated; the bed was comfy, shower large and very elegant. I especially appreciated the hot coffee available on every floor. You didn't have to go downstairs to get a good cup of coffee in the morning. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stayed for the night to visit the seneca wine trail. Hotel is gorgeous and the staff is very helpful. I was impressed.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are very nicely appointed and the beds are comfortable and cozy. Some nice areas to walk around the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is delicious as well with good portions. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is that the noise of the kitchen fans (or whatever they are) on the back of the hotel were a bit annoying in the evening. But thats just a minor thing. All in all a great place to stay in Watkins Glen!

Went there to meet the wedding planner to sit down and let her know what we wanted for our wedding. The wedding planner the hotel has is great.

Decent hotel but extremely expensive for what you get. Beverly at the front desk was totally useless and has no business being in the hotel business! Every other hotel has a check in time of 3:00. This one is 4:00 and strict! Don't plan on getting there even 30 min early they won't let you in. If you get Beverly she will be rude about it. The restaraunt was ok. The bartender we had Evelyn was fantastic! She made the stay! PS don't order the peppercorn ribeye unless you Love peppercorn that is all you will taste. Breakfast was ok. Area is really run down. No cute shops. Just the wineries.

This is not a cheap hotel, but your position is very close to Central Park, subway, and the Fifth Avenue. Columbus Square is very great. The Room size is also just, the bathroom too. I did not eat here for Breakfast, but I love it here. The customer Laundry service.

This is a time to go to Watkins Glen for the best suitable hotel from the Glen, Ithaca and Corning. I and family and friends stayed here for one night, all in a fully equipped room to enjoy by the lake beautiful views of the. Later here will stay in this hotel!

Our stay was wonderful! The room was beautiful. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. The ice bar event was lots of fun.

Had a fantastic time at Ice Bar 2016. The room was amazingly clean as was the whole hotel. All services amazing. Turn down your covers, chocolates on pillows. Newspaper outside the door and brewed coffee in the hallway. The attention to details made the experience… Would I do it again… ABSOLUTELY.

My hunny and I had the best stay. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Housekeeping was great as well. We're looking forward to being there for New Years.

This is my third time staying here and I will NEVER go back due to TERRIBLE customer service. The first time I stayed here I excused the fact that my motel room was unkempt because I was immediately given a hotel room for the same rate. The second time, I had no issues. However, this time was unacceptable. After driving 6 hours to get to the hotel, the front desk representative was horribly attitudinal when I was unable to access my online banking through the motel's Wi-Fi on my iPhone. I needed to transfer money to my debit card in order to pay in FULL upon arrival for my two night stay — a transaction that would have taken SECONDS with appropriately working Wi-Fi. When I was unable to get online to my bank, I was talked about in the third person RIGHT in front of me, told I didn't have to stay there, told they assumed I had given them a good credit card. I was also shown that the motel's Wi-Fi worked just fine on HER cell phone and she was using Verizon as I was, clearly indicating that I was lying. She wouldn't even take my parents' credit card info when I called them and asked for help so as to appease this woman NOR would she allow me to jump on to the front desk's desk top computer. Finally, when another worker heard me tell my parents on the other line the situation and how the customer service was terrible, he asked if I was trying to use the motel's Wi-Fi on an iPhone.

Went for are annaversity in January 2014had a wonderful time, the hotel, staff, lounge, restaurant, was top of the line, that is why we are going back again and in January for another wonderful, relaxing 5 days.

I haven't stayed here so I don't have much to offer about the hotel part, but the restaurant is great. Good food and, most importantly, good selection of local Finger Lakes wines. They host great events year round — even in the dead winter season. The Ice Bar event in January is always worth the visit!

Came here for 1 night coming from staying a week in NY. The rooms are enormous and so clean. The TV has no static. The state park is walkable from the hotel. Thats all we wanted to see in this area so we did not have any expectations as to the other things the area has to offer, which is not much. This hotel makes us for it. Its like not even part of the area :) the hotel is so pretty.

Beautiful Hotel on the lake. BUT we brought home something we didn't pay for… Bed Bugs! Lucky for me they didn't bite me just my wife, but that didn't make my life any easier. We had an exterminator come into our home and confirm the issue. It cost us $1, 500 to have our house treated. I notified the hotel and they promptly refunded my my $800 and said they would inspect the room. They emailed me later to say they didn't find any Bed Bugs in the room and can't understand how this would happen. Funny, how the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel is the ONLY place we stayed in the past six months and then my wife magically gets bitten within days of our first night there. We usually camp at the state park when we go to the Finger Lakes but since it was my wife's 40th Birthday I thought I would spoil her. Let me just tell you it was a birthday she/we won't forget. Also my wife left an outfit behind in the closet and realized it as she was unpacking. She immediately called the hotel and they transferred her to housekeeping. No one was around to take the call so she left a message. No one returned her call. She ended up leaving 2 more messages over the next week which weren't returned. It wasn't until I called to report the Bed Bugs to the GM that they looked for them and sent them to us. This was not the experience I was expecting or wanted.

This hotel is alittle pricy but its clean with amazing service and most of all a beautiful scene.

Visited here in the summer of 2014 for a low key bachelorette lake trip — the hotel was very pretty and the lake view and proximity to town, etc. Was perfect!

Stayed 5 nights as we toured the wineries and attractions of the Finger Lakes. After seeing what was available in the area, this is by far the best place to stay if you prefer a hotel to a bed and breakfast. The hotel was relatively new (6yrs old), clean, bright, offered great amenities — pool and jacuzzi, very good restaurant and bar, room service that was super quick and same prices as restaurant, turn-down service with chocolates, chilled bottles of water anytime, and nice sized room. We had a balcony which was perfect for the view of the lake and harbor. The location is convenient to the harbor attractions — boat rides, restaurants and bars — walking just a few hundred yards. Right in the small downtown area of Watkins Glen so we could easily walk to the few shops and restaurants that are there. Loved dining on the outdoor patio. All servers and staff were polite, friendly, and accomodating. Only concern is parking is a little tight. We managed to get a spot every night but it was mid week.

Arguably one of the finest hotels in NY State. Service is impeccable and the welcome is always friendly and helpful. Expensive yes but it is certainly worth the extra.

My husband and I stayed at the Harbor Hotel for our wedding anniversary. I booked a lake view king with the romance package. Everything was perfect. The room was very nice, clean and every detail to impress. The romance package included turn down, champagne, roses and chocolate covered strawberries. We walked into our room and found “rose” petals on the very comfortable king size bed with (battery operated) candles and romantic music playing on the TV. My husband was very surprised and it was all perfect. The view from our room was beautiful. Although they do not have coffee makers in the room, they setup complimentary coffee service in the elevator area of each floor. The coffee was excellent and refilled promptly when the pots ran out. We would definitely stay again.
