Have been here for many corporate parties and many weddings. Staff is great, top notch and very friendly. They remember us everytime we are here. Would recommend for any type of party.

Got married March 15, 2020 was rushed the whole entire time, my cake was thrown away before any guest even got to try it, food was disgusting tasted nothing like the food we tried… all around for the money I paid very unsatisfied.

This hotel is a COVID testing site for students of Syracuse University. I was very taken back when I arrived late at night and found this out. There was nothing on their website indicating this (if there was, I wouldn't have stayed there). I tried to give the hotel a chance and went to my room to check it out. (Back story — I travel a lot for work and wipe everything down in hotel rooms with disinfectant wipes, even pre-COVID). When I went to disinfect the room I was given, the wipes were GROSS and looked like no one ever cleaned the room. There was woman's hair all over the bed and fingerprints everywhere. I was very disappointed and ended up finding another Marriott 20 minutes away to stay in. I understand we are in difficult times, but I expected much more out of Marriott. I was nervous to being traveling again as it is, but had to because of my job, and this experience was not something I expected. The icing on the cake was the person at the front desk didn't even care that I was leaving and going to another hotel. I don't expect handouts, but for this type of inconvenience, and the reasoning I was leaving, I did expect someone to at least show some sort of concern. Needless to say, I will not be staying at this hotel any time soon.

Attended the Decision America Kick Off Event for Franklin Graham. Both rooms were very clean, the staff was very courteous, and the restrooms were spotless!

I was just in the Sitrus on the Hill, their bar. Nice atmosphere. Pleasant staff who seemed overwhelmed by the number of parents who were there during move in weekend at Syracuse University. I had fried shrimp app. Nice. Good place to go for a drink and a nosh.

Nice, clean (really clean)! Beds are delightful. A/C can be a little too cold in meeting rooms. Adjustable in bedrooms. Food is delicious as well. Staff is very pleasant, eager to please. Very helpful. Only downfall-although free parking in adjacent garage, you have to ride in separate elevators down to lobby to navigate over to other set of elevators to rooms. Not the worst but a tiny inconvenience. Will stay here again. Extremely convenient for Syracuse U. Visitors!

Excellent service at this hotel. The bartenders were extra attentive and served house-made free chips with the beer. Alex, in particular, handled rowdy customers that broke glasses with class. There are ample food and drink options and the 24-hout gift shop has useful stuff. Overnight staff was helpful and cheerful when I demagnetized my room key. All in all, I don't think a business traveler could possibly ask for more from this hotel.

Nice gym, fluffy beds, excellent staff. Everyone is extremely helpful, kind & professional. Eco-friendly hotel offering recycling in each room. Nice meeting spaces and socializing spots. Clean, friendly, warm atmosphere. Very strong internet. Bathrooms are clean and the water gets hot. A wonderful spot to stay!

The most friendliest and helpful staff by far! Courteous throughout the hotel. Clean and. Beautifully kept. Up on Business, the conference area was well equipped with screen projectors, water on the tables — even mints! Buffet style food was served everything was prepared well and should our company host another forum, I'd definitely attend again! Desk Manager Kim, Driver Ernie and my event planner was very helpful and accommodating me as my flight home. Was cancelled and did all they could to make sure I was worry free till I was able to find my way home — Thanks so much!

I was there for a seminar. The facility was well kept. The food and drink offered during the seminar was very good. The room was a bit cold but they did offer scarves to use.

Sheraton has REALLY become a favorite of mine! It's really trendy, yet super comfortable and clean. The staff is always friendly and actually appear to be happy. This is the 2nd Sheraton I've been to and let's put it this way, I'll be looking for them when I travel in the future.

Great bridal brunch. Food and service were excellent, cant wait to come back for the wedding.

Wonderful hotel. The staff was Absolutely wonderful very accommodating shuttling us to SU for our meetings picking us up bringing us back three or four times would definitely stay here again and recommend others to do so as well.

The staff was accommodating. The rooms were clean. Overall, I had a good stay at the Sheraton.

The place is comfortable, but for the price, a rip off. I am sitting in one of their rooms right now. There is whistling sound coming from the window, and it is not very windy outside. That sound has gotten quite loud at times since I checked in two days ago. It is all these little things that make this place not so great. The bathroom sink does not drain quickly, but quickly fills up with what can be rather dirty water (I did tell housekeeping about this, but they clearly did nothing). The tub/shower has an extremely slippery surface; if I were Sheraton, I would worry about a law suit. But the worst thing is that they allow pets, and across from my room somebody brought their two little dogs, which are gifted with very loud and irritatingly high pitched yelps. My first night here, they were yelping non-stop for a while. I did not want to change rooms — too tired. I did complain at one point, and somehow the dogs settled down, but they stayed, and in fact, I heard them this morning. In sum, and again, the place is okay, but not worth the $300 or so dollars they charge per night.

Pretty nice. Good meeting space and restaurant. Rooms are reasonably large and comfortable. Showers are okay. Parking garage convenient, but pay for parking and extremely narrow spots. It would be very easy to get a door ding or other cosmetic damage. Overall, very nice although not outstanding.

The hotel is located right in middle of syracuse University which is a big advantage for anyone staying for short time and has some business with the university. Rooms are very well kept and staff is very nice. They offered me an upgrade without me even asking. Definitely worth a visit.

You cannot beat the location if you are spending time at Syracuse University. The rooms are nice and seem to have been recently renovated. The staff is very friendly and parking on site is great.

This is my second time in Rachel's restaurant in many years. It was very quiet only two other tables seated so it was a ghost town. The server was nice, but a little inexperienced. This place has dated decor and looks past its prime. There is nothing really wrong with it but nothing going for it either. I ordered a salad and bacon cheese risotto which was larger than I expected and whole good not as fresh as I'd hoped. I'd definitely eat the food again and it's reasonably priced but I'd never go out of my way to go to an empty restaurant with no real discerning features.

Had an opportunity to stop in to the lounge to listen to some live music, Excellent service and great food — the salad with apples, bacon and maple dressing was outstanding.

Good hotel, solid amenities… short hop to university. Middle of everything downtown (good thing). Very capable on site team. Been there 20 times over past 4 years and showing up for graduation in May. Stay there…

The banquet room was large and the staff was very accommodating! The carpet was of fantastic design, and the walls and ceiling were a delight! The chandeliers are a nice touch, the food was a little bland.

Exceptional staff and conference space. The restaurants have been great and any questions that needed answered were professionally handled. I would recommend anyone coming to a conference here.

I visit the city somewhat regularly and can't imagine there being a better hotel than this one. Friendly and hard-working staff, clean and comfy accommodations, and a bed that I never want to get out of. I'll be staying here again.

Came into town for work training. Didn't expect much. Staff was courteous, room was much nicer than I expected (based on the hotels colleagues had stayed at for similar training). Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms and service were of a hotel of 4-5 stars. Only thing was the parking not much espassio.

Excellent hotel. Very clean, modern rooms. Nice facilities and staff. Came for a work event and I didn't pay put of pocket but I would stay again if we came back.

Attended a wedding/reception and stayed overnight in a standard room. Everything wss clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds and linen could have been more comfortable.

Nice room, clean and quiet. Friendly staff, Rachel's resturant has good food, the lobster and shrimp bisque in the bread bowl was delicious.

My husband and I stayed here this week. I was shocked to see any negative reviews. My previous careers have been in Hotel Management and my expectations are high to say the least. Front desk staff was friendly and provided excellent service at check in. When we go in a room I go over it with white glove expectations… I genuinely could not find anything wrong, and I tried. Maintenance was good. The worst thing I found our entire stay was a loose dresser knob… that speaks volumes. We ate dinner in the bar section. Service was excellent. Dinner was average, definitely better than expected from a hotel restaurant. Dessert was phenomenal. Breakfast the next day was enjoyable with average service. I am next to impossible to please when it comes to hotel accommodations and I have to say I was more than impressed. Kudos to the staff and management here. As a side note, my husband left a pair of suit suspenders that are special to him behind. A phone call this morning confirmed they were found (and the organization of the lost and found department gets two thumbs up, easiest process ever) and they are mailing them out to us Monday.

Rooms were extremely clean and well appointed. The mattress was very plush and comfortable, the staff was extremely friendly including the shuttle drivers. Only slight flaw would be that a lot of light sneaks under the door and into the room at night, so if you need it to be really dark, you'll have to take some of the extra pillows from the bed and cover the gap under the door.

Rooms were very nice. I liked the added touches of a small bag of bathroom items, the 2 free bottles of water. The restaurant was excellent.

Our stay was good as always. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown. Unfortunately, guests need to pay for parking. It's too bad this can't be waived with Platinum guests. We missed both hors d'oeuvres in the Club Lounge and the Syracuse Orange home game tail gate party. Probably best to check in earlier if possible to take advantage of the hors d'oeuvres. The breakfast the following morning in the Club Lounge was a bit basic. At least the staff was very very friendly.

We highly recommend the Sheraton for a wedding reception venue. Rob and Katie made sure all of our requests were satisfied (even my gf diet! ). The space, staff, food, rooms, and everything in between were perfect! The next morning everything was boxed up and ready to leave — a huge help! Thank you all again for a perfect day!

Dump smells like 20 year old smoke, a/c barely works. You have to call them to set it even though there is a thermostat. The desk staff are unfriendly and rude. At least the bar / restaurant staff were awesome. Used the green feature to save water but they refuse to come in ur room. I had no coffee, toilet paper or Kleenex. I had to go take it from the lobby bathroom. Mark Promised to bring some after I bitched, but nobody came.
Guess I learned my lesson. Everyone is treated like a student that may destroy their room.

We went to an honor society induction on Saturday in Rachel's Restaurant private dining room. The space was really nice and it was well kept. The food was really good, but by the time it was my turn to get food from the buffet there was basically nothing left and it took them a very long time to put more in. That's the only downside to my experience there.

A nice stay every time. Free shuttle to go to dinner in town and complimentary drinks in the club lounge make this a great choice.

First impression is a Great stay, they allowed early check in when I came. Very grateful for that… Originally I booked a twin 2 beds room… Kindly the hotel upgraded me to a king size bed. *The only thing that ticked me off were the stairs. Access to the stairs is fine, getting out is only one way, the ground floor exit. So if you want to take the stairs and avoid elevator traffic, you cannot. I hope the hotel take this into consideration and fix this! It's a good way to exercise, don't take that away. Thank you!

The room was great! The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly, everything was clean and perfectly functional. The room service was fast and polite but the food wasn't good and it was expensive with an unmentioned automatic gratuity added.

Went to Sitrus, the hotel restaurant and bar after the SU game. Food was great and the atmosphere was electric! Great place to eat and stay.

Great location to visit SU. Had a beautiful view of the campus and was walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Hotel restaurant, Spirits (I think), had fantastic staff. Food was OK.

2nd floor banquet room. Food was ok.

I came here for a work related function. The accommodations were excellent, and the food was very satisfying. I would highly recommend this for large group occasions.

Usually I do not bother rating hotels (it's a pointless activity, really—does the hotel chain care? ), but our experience here warrants a negative review. We were visiting an old friend in downtown Syracuse, so we picked this hotel for its convenience, despite the steep price tag. We walked in with eight bags, at six in the evening, and were offered no help in the lobby. (Eventually I got a cart, which we left outside our room—it was there at ten the next morning, which, I guess was good because we had to lug our bags back down). I checked in and discovered we had to pay to park in the hotel's garage, a fee that was not mentioned when I booked the room over the phone. The lobby was attractive, but our floor was in rough shape—scuff marks, carpet stains, outdated decor, etc. Room was like any other hotel room, clean and comfortable enough. The heated pool was barely warm. Restaurant was okay, nothing to write home about (though the waitress was cool and comped us a drink). For the price we paid to stay here one night—well over $200, with a AAA discount—it just wasn't worth it.
