Great restaurant for dinner. Breakfast area is very nice.

I will say that staff are pleasant, however older hotel showing age. Never thanked or recognized for loyalty status and no welcome gift offered for Platinum members but not a big deal to me. No room upgrade or free breakfast but I was aware and not expecting this. They did quickly resolve a minor complaint and provided a reduced room rate for one night. Thank you to the room attendant for thanking me by setting my alarm the next day for 6am — still left her a tip but threw out my toothbrush just in case. No complaint with cost and used points for one night. Now, however, I find that my elite nights have not posted for this stay which was a week ago. Called and told the free night doesn’t count (see Loyalty Terms and Conditions 4.2. C — yes it does) so transferred to “accounting” to look into this — no return call and not holding my breath. Next time I’m in town for an event I will not return here.

Very friendly staff. The total check-in process took about 3 minutes. A very welcomed process after 4 hours of traveling and 6 hours of exploring the city. They were even kind enough to give us a room upstairs to keep us away from two wedding receptions that were going on on the 1st floor. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I was stranded in Rochester after a canceled flight and managed to catch a ride on the shuttle, hoping they had a room (it was pretty late). The front desk staff was courteous and empathetic towards me, and provided a smooth check in. The room was very nice and clean. Prices at the bar were reasonable and the food was pretty decent. Best of all, they arranged an early morning shuttle back to the airport an hour and a half before the shuttle service generally started. The Marriott was a life saver that night, and did so with style.

I stayed here for two weeks for work training, and it was over all a fantastic two weeks. The staff will go out of their way to help, even when you don't ask. I mentioned out loud in the lobby that I was worried a co-worker was still asleep, and they called her room without asking or telling me. Kris, the bartender, is seriously the best. Makes sure you're happy with your food and was a pleasure to talk to. Shout out to Andy for getting my burger cooked when I realized suddenly I ordered it quite a while before! Thank you to the amazing cleaning staff that wrote me a thank you note for my tip — always tip the cleaning staff!

This hotel is recently updated and very comfortable. It has lots of amenities including a mini fridge in the room. The breakfast buffet is not complimentary but it is very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was told this place had been renovated in the last few years but I think it is time for a refresh. I had a double room to myself so it felt spacious. The furniture seemed to me a bit dated with big pieces of ordinary furniture. Modern contempary is absent. Good fitness facility. Pool is for splashing about as no room for lengths. Bar had a good selection of wines but not much choice if you like foreign beers. Staff overall were good and efficient. Would stay again but manage my expectations.

Nice hotel and rooms. Workout centers nice with up to date machines with something for everyone. Showers were not level with the rest of the bathroom floor, but does have a tub too if that's how you roll.

I was treated like family. There was always someone at the front door to welcome me and as I passed the front desk, I was always greeted. The rooms are updated and extremely comfortable. The fitness center is adequate, although it gets a little warm in the morning (when being used by all the business travelers like myself). The restaurant is comfortable with friendly and attentive staff. All around a great experience.

Love the decor. Spent 2 nights there attending an event. Restaurant was good and the employees were hospitable. Will return for my next trip. Only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is they kept vacuuming after we told them we were taping our events.

Overall a very pleasant stay. Lounge is probably my favorite part of the hotel. Have stayed here a few times for business and think it's probably the best bet in the immediate area. Staff were excellent all around and check in and out was painless. I do wish there were better dining options in the immediate area, but downtown is only a taxi ride away.

Spent Friday night, March 9th. 2018. Was attending my grandson's State Wrestling Championships in nearby Brockport. Accidently left a pair of black slacks and a silver necklace on a hanger in our room's closet. Have called 3 times since I realized (started calling Saturday evening) and have NEVER even received a call back! They just keep saying that they will have "housekeeping look and call back". I'm guessing I'll never see either item again. Very upset and have nothing good to say about the Marriott!

I was really disappointed with my most recent stay at this hotel. I stayed in room 208 and could not see out the window as they had a large piece of equipment located directly in front of the window. Also, the shower must have had a cheap and low-quality replacement as it seemed a new tub was installed over the original, resulting in a shower floor so high that I had to crotch down in order for the shower head to be higher than my head. I typically like this hotel, but if it was my first time staying here I would never come back. I have pictures of the view from the room window just because I thought “nobody would believe this! ” really too bad… (these observations were in addition to several other disappointments but weren’t worthy of commenting)

This Marriott is all newly redone, it's really nice inside! Employees are always very accommodating! Especially Cheryl, she was my server in the restaurant & not only gave me great service with a smile, but also a great conversation. I'd come back just to have breakfast again! 5-Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I will always request this Marriott when in town for work.

Really nice hotel. The gym and pool were nice and clean. The concierge was great as well. The beds were very comfortable.

Despite its name, this Marriott location is about 10 mins from The Rochester Airport. Their shuttle service gave clear instructions where to wait for pick-up and was prompt and service-oriented. Hotel has beautiful lobby w/ coffee amenities. Rooms were clean, with no weird smell, generous lighting and the bed was very comfortable with four down feather pillows. All expected amenities (mini fridge, coffee brewer, iron/board, blow dryer) were present but no microwave. I was staying with a professional group for a week and ate in the hotel restaurants most mornings and nights. The dinner restaurant was delicious with a diverse menu, relaxed, low-light ambiance and a bar with television. The breakfast restaurant served a hot buffet and made-to-order omelets and waffles. Both reasonably priced. The only unsatisfactory things I personally encountered was noise from the elevator movement two doors down from my room and my slowly draining sink and tub. Clean, just drained too slow for my liking. The best thing I can say about this Marriott location is the service from all areas was superior. These people anticipated guests' needs and went above the ordinary to provide a comfortable experience and guest satisfaction. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Newly renovated hotel. Staff are super nice. The hotel lobby is amazing and give access to a nice backyard furnished with nice outdoor furniture and surrounded with beautiful flowers. The room is nice and comfortable. The washroom is small but still have lots of rooms to put your things. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

It's a full-service Marriott. Everything works, everything is clean, the people are friendly, the grounds are well-maintained, the location is convenient. What more could I ask?

Don't usually write any reviews. However, at my best friends wedding (which they knew about 6 months in advance), the staff in the lobby and the bar was super rude and unprofessional. They made us feel as if we shouldn't be there and they wanted us to go home and made snide comments with zero smiles or professionalism. Would not recommend. Horrible experience. Made the best day of her life memorable, for all the wrong reasons. Bill at the front desk however was so sweet and empathetic, five stars for him.

Our flight was canceled so we selected the hotel that was claiming to be near the airport. It was anything but near the airport. Other guests were partying on our floor until 1:00 am. When checking out I shared my deep concern regarding this and the representative just shrugged his shoulder and said sorry. Then we proceeded for breakfast and we got third degree that we didn't have complimentary breakfast. That was an oversight on our part. However, their training lacked courtesy. They made us feel like we were trying to get a free breakfast out of them. The only good experience we had was th driver you took us to the airport. They need to let him train rest of the staff. Never staying here. We were staying at a Hampton Inn prior to Marriott and they know what customer service is.

My fiancé and I stopped in to have a drink at the bar and check out the facilities as we are searching for a location for our wedding guests to stay. The bar and front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The decor was modern, clean, and beautiful. We will most definitely be choosing this location for our guests to relax for a couple nights.

The most Beautiful Hotel in Rochester The exterior approach has mini-gardens surrounding it. The Lobby, Restaurant & Bar are Lovely Very comfortable plush furnishings throughout. The Rooms are beautifully decorated & the Suites are exquisitely designed and plush. There is so much more to elaborate on but I would be writing a book, there are many amenities the Marriott has to offer. The Marriott is a convenient beautiful hotel for Business, Leisure & Family. Very clean and modern. The staff were very friendly. The lounge area and balconys we're awesome to hangout at. Great place over all, will consider in the future.

I'd highly recommend this hotel! I didn't have any expectations since it was chosen by the bus tour company, but for my surprise the cheap price I paid for the night gave me one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Stuff in the hotel is very polite, always had the answers to my questions, gave me complimentary items such as toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as a deodorant stick. I didn't expected, but hotel was either recently built or renovated. Everything in it is brand new. It has a 24/7 open fitness center, swimming pools — large and smaller one for kids. The room was very clean and neat. The bed had a nice quality queen size mattress.

I've stayed in quite a few hotels but this by far was the best bed I've ever slept on. I felt like never getting out of bed. The minute I laid in I felt like I was floating in a cloud. And the pillow were just as fabulous. We stayed in room 506. Not sure if all the rooms had beds like this but I was throughly impressed.

I'm a Marriott employee and I took my family to Rochester for my daughters birthday. The 2 girls at the desk friday night were very friendly and helpful! They put us on the top floor and my daughter loved the view! We ordered room service and I loved the girl who brought us our food! She even found a candle for my daughter to blow out. They really went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! The hotel was beautiful, especially that entrance! Thank you guys so so much! I wish you all the best!

I had the picture perfect wedding at the Rochester Marriott! Every detail and every wish I had was executed flawlessly by the staff! I personally worked with Bridget and Christine and I highly recommend this venue! My family is Greek and Italian so food is a big thing for us and it couldn't have been better! I can't praise them enough!

This hotel is so nice. The lobby is beautifully done and the rooms are very tastefully decorated and very clean (and I'm super picky). I work as a customer engagement specialist and this place knows how to do hospitality. Every single staff member greets me with a warm smile when I walk by. In most places I've stayed the staff barely acknowledges its customers so this is to be praised. The beds are also super comfortable. Thank you for caring about the comfort of your guests. One suggestion I would make: the coffee in the lobby really should be complimentary for your guests as it is in most hotels. Coffee in the lobby goes a long way with making your patrons feel welcome and at home. Switch your brand and you'll find it's a very affordable value-add for your business. Overall I loved staying here and would highly recommend it. Great job Marriot!

The hotel is modern, has a nice lobby area. Rooms are relatively big and have nice amenities like a computer drsk, a small sofa, and a fridge. Bathroom was ample and clean, and with a lot of handicap aids. Even though the room seems relaively new some things were broken, like the power strip on the wall, and the shower head had tape to gold it together. Overall it was a good hotel for the price.

Booked a block of rooms for my upcoming wedding. Took a tour with a member from the front desk and the renovations look amazing!

The hotel was undergoing renovations and made it difficult to find a bathroom apparently that was actually just a room blocked off so people had access to b the toilet. I imagine it will look nice when it's done.

I can't explain how wonderful this hotel is a a the staff. The hotel itself. Beautiful clean newly updated rooms. Best sleep I have ever had in a hotel in a long time. The staff. Remarkable. They advised us before our arrival a lot of teams were going to be there this weekend and they would do all they can to keep them in a certain area of the hotel. I asked them if I could get a top floor room since I had a baby. Didn't expect it, I know it's my problem I chose to travel with a baby,,, but thought I would ask. I was instantly accommodated! It was a beautiful quiet floor away from the teams. Nothing against them but we weren't part of the action. When we arrived we were asked if we needed anything more. To advise if we did. All staff said hello. Asked if we needed anything. I just can't think of one single thing to say negative about this hotel. I will never even think twice if we come back where to book! Thank you Marriot rochester staff for making our families visiting a 20 out of 10!

This a great facility. The front desk and staff were fantastic. And the food in the restaurant was surprisingly good.

Good location. Everything about the room was good expect the old TV. Didn't even have HDMI capabilities.

Rooms are very modern and clean. I love the design of the hotel in general. Priced very reasonably, and the food is actually pretty good too. Be warned it's not actually by the airport, and if you have a very early flight they don't always have a shuttle.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable and the express breakfast was great.

I had reservations for one night with two beds. I called a few days before our arrival to make sure we would get two beds because there were four people in my party. When we arrived I went to the room and it only had one bed. The front desk appologized and said they were booked and there was nothing they could do except offer us an air mattress that would only sleep one person. It barely fit in the room. The fourth person had to sleep on a small soft.

Family friendly. Hotel is nice and clean, with a great pool, hot tub, and Sauna. Free hotel Wi-Fi was sufficient to stream videos using your service of choice.

We recently had a wedding and used your hotel for our out of town guests. We ended up with 20 + rooms. And, not only that, but we planned our rehearsal dinner at your hotel too. When we were planning the dinner we kept getting a promise of a mailing but did not receive anything but the menu with our choices and alternatives we were not told that there was a fee of 150.00 to just reserve the room until we sat down with the planner one week before. I really thought that with all of the money we spent there we could maybe catch a break you made money hand over fist on our family. Not a comped room. Not a free movie. And breakfast? Almost every hotel now offers at least free coffee, but not the good old MarriottHad to pay for everything. And if you are going to hold money on people's debit card maybe you should let people know in advance. It was a total embarassment. Needless to say we have another wedding in May 2014 and found a really nice local hotel for about half the price and free breakfast and coffee or tea 24/7 Sorry you couldn't make it right for us. But we had at least 16 rooms tell us how they felt about your lack of hospitality, you know how many times I heard " I will never stay in a Marriott" and these are people from all over that travel quite a bit Let's see 16 people, and they tell 16 people. And on it goes.

People like me who travel worldwide understand how difficult it is for a manager to a consistently high quality customer service orientation among a significant number of staff. The manager of this facility has done just that. I was extremely impressed, and will come back here any time I am in Rochester. 100% recommended.
