Great experience for the price. Everything in the room was clean. Beds are comfy. Staff was friendly. My only complaint is that our dead bolt didn't work.

Unfortunately was placed in a smoking room and the room reeked. Nicotine was thick enough to run down the curtain and bathroom door. The carpet was nasty and the subflooring felt like it was ready to give way at any time. The sheets on the bed had cigarette burns and the pillows were thin mints. The good news is that the water was hot but it ran out of the faucet as fast as it did the shower head and you didn't want to get your feet close to the faucet flow as it would scald you. The door to the unit was flkmsy at best and the security lock was broken. They do have a washer and dryer and the ice was free.

Stayed there one night for less than ten hours. Will never go back. I would rather sleep in my car, it's A LOT CLEANER. Our bathroom had urine and pubic hair all over the toilet and floor. Took a picture and showed it to manager which did NOTHING about it. Didn't even offer a discount! Disgusting place.

Overall good experience! Clean & Safe! No bugs! Old paint and small holes in sheets but clean! Right off the exit and re-entry ramp for I24W, which is super convenient. For under $50, tax included (for 1 person), good deal. Lots of rooms and parking. I stood in room Very comfortable bed. Air conditioner works great! Slept wonderfully! Big flat screen TV. Sign says free continental breakfast, I didn't verify. There are also near by places to eat. Bar soap and clean towels are provided. Very good water pressure and hot water. Shower head is positioned a little low but no big deal. Cups and ice bucket are provided. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. Pet friendly rooms are available. They are in the Central time zone still, which gave me an extra hour, which was very nice! 11am checkout is accommodating, since at most places it's 10am. Nice friendly staff. Respectable establishment! I would stay here again and recommend this place. Great place when you need to get off the road and rest for awhile and reasonably priced. There was a Knights Inn a few miles North at the same price and another motel at exit 132, in Tennessee, for a little cheaper but I don't know how they are. I stood at a different Scottish Inn, in Georgia, and was very pleased with that one, as well. This one is Indian run, they seemed like very nice people.

It's cheaper if you just show up. The online showings are a lie. If it says there are only 2 rooms available that B. S. And they make you pay a reservation fee. Which is about $15 more than usual cost.

This was a pretty good little spot. The mattress was a bit hard but it's never like home, right? Friendly people and clean rooms.

Stay here only if all other motels are full or you really can't afford anything else. It was not dirty but the place has clearly seen better days. The Wi-Fi was not usable. I had to open the toilet tank to reconnect the chain and get it to flush. The light over the sink did not work. There was a chair in the room that should have been sent to the dump years ago it was so torn up. The bed was rock hard. The controls on the HVAC did not work but fortunately it was a pleasant night and I did not really need heat or AC. There was a mini-fridge in the room that did seem to work well.

Stopped here for a night while on my way back from getting my Marine and it was clean and prices were great! They let me check out my room before I booked and were so helpful letting us know good eats in the area!

Bed bugs in the beds. Smelled disgusting in the room. Drug deals all around. Asked for a refund, they gave it to me, but it's been over a week and I'm still waiting for the money to go back on card.

This place is infested with all sorts of bugs and drugs. Best to sleep in your car if you can't afford a better place. Seriously.

It has a pretty good location across the street from Wal-Mart. But the rooms aren't as nice as they could be and seen a few bugs. But when needed and on a budget it's not a bad place to stay. Convenient to gas stations and within walking distance of a couple restaurants and fast food places.

It's a okay place to stay if you are travelling on I-24. It's kind of a property under renovation. Pros On the highway Lots of gas stations Walmart opposite to it Lot of parking Cons No Microwave, Refrigerator, hair dryer Breakfast: Grab and go, coffee with mini donuts and muffins (limited supply) Listed as a 2star property on many sites, in my opinion should be rated less.

I came into town to stay with an old friend and I did my best to check for bed bugs because I'm extremely sensitive to the bites. We checked in at like midnight. We saw a lot of roaches and not the ones you smoke. I have bites on the back of my arms, legs, lower back, etc. When I got back home I forgot to completely check my clothing, so if I brought bed bugs home you best believe I will let that hotel know and quick. Breakfast wasn't even really breakfast, so we went to McDonald's. The shower looked like you shouldn't be near it with a ten foot pole. I don't recommend anyone staying there with or without kids. It's just not suitable for $57.

I give two stars only because I like the people that run it very friendly kind always laughing joking and smiling… with everyone the people in the office takes time to hear your story what brings you to the Scottish inn… Gene is so professional, kind, caring, and will go out of his way and help a stranger, also he will always make you feel like your a part of a family, He make you feel like you are at home in his house… He is so thoughtful welcoming everyone I may not like the condition of the place… I come back because it's like I come to visit family… Gene and Gorge have been like brothers to me… ever sense I have been in Tennessee… when my car broke down I call and big brother came to help… thank you to the management thank you to Gene And Gorge… may you all be bless with happiness always.

Our room was not that bad. I wanted a cheap room for me and my wife, it was late and I saw the 39.95 sign on the highway. I also paid $53 but I chalked it up to double occupancy. Room looked like it may have been recently remodeled. Repairs were marginal at best, but if I was wanting a better room I would have gone somewhere more expensive. It was far from the worst room I have stayed in and I saw no roaches. I wouls stop here again if I was in the area.

Ripped off! The billboard said $38, so I decided to stop for a short rest at 2:25am. I told the man I was staying 2.5 hours and driving on, but he charged me $53.22. So, false advertisement to get me in, but not even a courtesy late check-in like many others. Next, he repeated after me, "non-smoking, " but the room was so full of smoke I was nauseous. I stayed out of the bathroom because there were cockroaches everywhere when I turned the light on. I slept in my clothes because I was afraid of the bugs in the room & kept my shoes on because the carpet (I think it was) had disintegrated into a black, something that stuck to my shoes. I should have gone back to the front desk and asked for a refund, but I was already an idiot letting him rip me off with the charges and just could not drive any further. Sleeping in my car at a truck stop would have been better than staying here. I DO NOT recommend no matter how desperate you are.

Its was very nice for the price. Unfortunately I will not be returning to Tennessee or I would stay there again…

Its cheap motel pricing and for that you get a cheap motel. Room, bathroom and sheets were clean and the room was cleaned during my stay (2 nights/1 day). There's fridge, microwave, tv. Bed was comfortable. I didn't use the pool. I think maybe bedsheets have been changed +/ — redecoration done since the terrible reviews — I didn't recognise what they said during my stay.

Was a good stay. Gene the Night Desk Clerk was Awesome and the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

They are renovating the hotel. New mattress and bedding. But the room had a pet odor. Good enough for the price.

For the price everything was fine. Was clean.

Pubes on the sheet, wet looking spots. Whis I had a bluelight or do i? yuck my dogs bed is cleaner.

Anybody who tells you this hotel is decent is straight out lying to you, we were in two different rooms, both ABSOLUTELY infested with roaches, burn holes in sheets, curtains, the beds were so awful we wouldn't even sleep under their comforter, my husband was awakened one night because a cock roach was crawling across his face, we slept with ear plugs in so the roaches didn't get in our ears. And the shower was beyond gross, in BOTH rooms, the faucets were broke, and burn holes all over the tub, it was so bad we had to go to the truck stop next door to shower. We paid for a week, but didn't stay. The manager was an absolute jerk, we didn't complain about anything, but when we changed rooms the t. V. Was broke and he acted like it was our fault. Guys, PLEASE DON'T waste your money here ESPECIALLY if you have children. I'm not trying to be hateful, but this is the WORST hotel I've ever seen, also the floors are uneven, and the carpet is stained and filthy. No upkeep whatsoever. If I could rate this a zero I would. There was nothing nice I can say about this place.

Nice clean rooms, pool was clean and a good size for the kids.

Clean, simple. Was everything I needed. Just had to stay there overnight.

Awful. Dirty. Completely unkept. Cheap linens, broken dirty furniture. The smoke detector was chirping in my room, I called the front desk she told me to disconnect and wait til morning. Just awful.

Manchester, tn room was filthy, smell was repulsive, room was VERY dated, shower didn't drain, carpets were torn, burned and felt as though there was no padding under neath. Overall horrible experience.

These people are dishonest maintience people steal snitch and lie manager Patel is dishonest needs code department inspection on all rooms no advance notice.

Two words, bed bugs. My wife and I were laying down to sleep and she rolled over asking what was crawling on her pillow. We had been there for two hours resting after showering and watching some television. I immediately got my wife to get our things together while I used duct tape to secure the bug and took it to the front desk. I told them we were checking out and demanded a refund. Clerk asked why I didn't bring it to their attention ten minutes after entering the room. I didn't know people are required to do a full inspection of rooms and stripping covers off beds in order to get a refund.

Had a friend rent a room in advance… Place was dirty as s#%t' and I smelled a very strong chemical smell. I had the clerk switch his room because asides the smell there was a ton of activity between 144 to 150' top and bottom.! Some good ole meth cooking going on there' and if you ever want to see the freak side to a circus. By all means' come on down to the Scottish in & we'll leave the lights loose for you:}

We got what we paid for a good clean room, everything worked, bed was comfortable. Yes it was an older motel, it has been redone, but for $97 for two nights with a king size bed, it's a good deal.

There was mold in the room in the bathroom the bed was small and hard as a rock. Barely had anything on the breakfast in the mornings. Staff was rude and barely spoke english. Housekeeping was extremely rude. Rude run away as fast as possible.
