We spent 8 pleasant nights in this location. The staff was very helpful and professional. Parking availability was great. We had a corner room with a beautiful view. The service was very efficient and cordial. Loved it!

Our Easter brunch was HORRIBLE the food was cold. The potato’s were gritty, the carrots not fully cooked, ham cold and dry. I could go on and on. Then they charged $40.00 a person. What a rip off.

This hotel is the absolute best. My husband and I have stayed here at least 10 times since they opened. We refuse to stay anywhere else when we frequent Ithaca. The rooms are always super clean and the staff is amazing!

Slightly more expensive than other hotels in the area. You do get what you pay for though as this is a brand new hotel with all the modern comforts (read=easily accessible charging ports) you could need. The main benefit of this hotel is the location though. Right at the head of the Commons you can park your car when you check in and be within walking distance of almost all of the best restaurants in Ithaca. The staff and employees were also very courteous and helpful in my experience.

The hotel was very conveniently located near Robert H. Treman state park where my family and I had gone hiking/swimming in the morning. The room was ready to check in to when we arrived at 3 pm. The hotel and the room was clean and quiet. We got to enjoy the heated indoor pool all by outselves. Continental breakfast had many options, such as cereal, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, fruit, eggs, bacon, toast, etc. There was a pancake maker too! Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Hotel! Big, clean rooms. Nice bar and restaurant downstairs. The waiter gave me cookies (for free! ). Good hotel shop. Great view! Convenient parking just next door, and right on top of the Ithaca Commons!

The service here is incredible — the food was wonderful at the downstairs restaurant and the rooms were beautiful. My friend and I shared a room with two beds and a bathroom. The staff was very polite and ready to be of assistance. However, some of the towels folded in the bathroom smelled of urine and my sheets smelled like sweat on half of my bed, which is awfully concerning. Other than that, our two night stay was wonderful. The central location is a huge plus and it is very close to Cornell University.

The Ithaca Marriott is a great hotel in the heart of Ithaca. It is situated on the Commons near dozens of yummy local restaurants. The hotel feels brand new with a contemporary look, yet somehow feels like a cozy local spot at the same time. The rooms are fresh and ergonomically situated to maximize space. Check out the gym in the basement. There's lots of brand new equipment and ample space for a legitimate workout.

Nice new property. Sheets don’t fit the beds. Were t event tucked in; just laid on the mattress. That’s gross. Bring back fitted sheets! Fire alarm went off middle of the evening, very loud speaker in the room, then it just stopped without an explanation or apology. Typical Marriott property customer service.

Excellent customer service. They gave me weather and driving conditions info because they knew I would be driving back to Syracuse to get a flight back to Atlanta. The room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Also, the wait staff at the restaurant are all excellent.

What a great hotel! A super well kept property! Easy in and out, the parking adjacent to the hotel. Great places to eat are all around this building. I stayed here on my way to Toronto and on my way bacK to NYC… And they serve Starbucks in the lobby, it can't get better!

The service at Monk's is incredible. Their drink selection is extremely wide, and very creative. If you're looking for a classy place or classy drink, this is your bar.

Havent stayed in the hotel, but the bar is an awesome spot! Great big windows for people watching, delicious cocktails… there were even games at the bar for passing extra time. The bartenders are always knowledgeable and friendly, and there's a really cozy atmosphere.

New clean decor with a fantastic view from the 10th floor. Be aware that parking is only in the back of the hotel located in the Green St. Garage. Drop off and loading is allowed in the front. It is conveniently located next to the commons and close to many dining options.

Good value, good location, and good service. Located next to the down town area. I know a university shuttle is advertised but didn't see or hear anything about it. Self park and valet is reasonable. A/C is motion detected and does not circulate air constantly so rooms can get stuffy.

Hotel and room was nice. Bar downstairs was fine with good food. Elevators were really slow and water pressure wasn't up to par but just being picky at that point.

Air conditioning unit in the room, so you have to take the noise. No upgrades, no drinking water, no welcome notes, …nothing provided as it supposed to. And, they charge almost same high rate as manhattan does.

Terrible place. Ended up staying there out of desperation and housekeeping broke into my room and stole my medication. Ended up calling the police — during my stay. So low class. The worst experience I have ever had at a Marriott. There is no privacy — and they will find ways to put on extra fees — something at $250 a day. They are so LOW class about money. Everything is an extra charge. No thanks. I'll return when they train their staff to stop stealing.

Restaurant in the lobby (Monks) had kind of slow service. Atmosphere is a bit strange, as the lobby kind of morphs into the restaurant. Outdoor seating is available but there was alot of noisy traffic when we were sitting outside. Very large drink menu. Food was pretty good.

Love this bar for people watching, great atmosphere, unique cocktails (try the hot toddy! ) and good small plate deals during happy hour. Bring a sweater… the air conditioning is a little overly pumped!

Great location, cozy, high class decor, good drinks, and excellent service. One of my favorite bars in Ithaca. The only drawback is the price of the drinks. I wish I could justify going more often, because I really do like the place, but being a poor grad student I really can't justify 10+ dollars per drink more than once or twice per semester, no matter how good they are. If you can afford it though, this is one of my most recommended places in Ithaca.

My girlfriend and I went for drinks. I got the Juan Diego and the Perceptory cocktails. Both were great. She got the 18 Karat and loved it. Our bartenders were excellent and very helpful as well.

One of the nicest hotels in Ithaca. Bar and restaurant is great and the staff is friendly. Reason for not a five star is the bathroom downstairs was dirty when I attempted to use it but the room itself was perfect.

Located in direct downtown area "busy". Was there for payment for upgrades to hotel. Nice hotel good service but didn't get what I was there for.

Good, upscale, downtown hotel. I score this a "3" because Wi-Fi is not free, otherwise good property. Though, there was hair in our shower before we got in and a hole in the sheets. Curious about general upkeep. Front desk staff was friendly.

Great place to stay at, everything looks new and modern. Plus the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. Location is also great, being located right on the Ithaca Commons, it is very easy to visit the shops. Finding something to eat is only a short walk away. The internet was iffy at times with the internet registration not always working, but for the most part worked as expected from a hotel. Just note that the internet is only free for guests who book directly.

Good service, and great atmosphere in the lobby bar is pretty crowed at night and the showers in the bathrooms are amazing!

Might be a nice hotel I don't know, but customer service center is terrible. Had to cancel due to a cancelled flight, it took over an hour on hold. Somehow no-one could handle this and I was eventually told I had to speak to a manager, who was on a lunch break.

Front desk staff Diane for July 5th evening shift not friendly, did thank me for being an Elite member, had difficulty with my credit card. Card had a chip and failed to swipe properly. Provide incorrect information about parking cost.

Great location. It's right in the center of everything. Rooms are exceptional.

Had a great 2 night stay here. Rooms are new and very clean. The staff at the front desk was wonderful and they make the most delicious cappuccinos in the morning (free for guests)

Food and drinks are both creative and delicious. Service is exceptional, and the atmosphere welcoming. A fine dining experience for a casual eatery.

I had family in town for the holidays, and we had lunch at the hotel restaurant before they left. The food is amazing! My sister and her husband plan on staying here when they come back to town. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the cook was at the bar drinking wine in the middle of the day, and I thought that was a little strange. But the food is so good I'm sure they let him get away with things lol.
