Our family had the best experience at this hotel! When we first arrived and got to our room the AC wasn’t working. Without hesitation they switched us to a new room so we could be comfortable. The next morning as we were checking out my daughter realized she lost her toy shark and the hostess at the front desk was so quick to call housekeeping and see if they had found it. When they didn’t she took it upon herself to start searching the hotel. As she looked another employee came out and sat and talked to my daughter to make sure she wasn’t too upset about her toy. They ended up finding it and my daughter was thrilled! I already left a review on trip advisor and the manager actually sent me a personalized email thanking me for our review. Never in my life have I gotten a response like that from a good review as most only care about the bad ones. I will definitely return to this hotel!

Very spacious room. Kilpatricks was extremely cool. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Great location in Ithaca. Staff were all very friendly. Highly recommend and excellent value!

My mom and I loved Ithaca and the surrounding area. We picked apples and visited local wineries, even found a dairy producing fresh goat cheese it was amazing! The staff we encountered during the first part of our stay, were fantastic! Friendly and helpful the whole time! … until we checked out. The agm at this property informed me that my registered service animal, which I offered paperwork for on 3 separate occasions was not by their standards considered a service animal. In fact I was told that they only recognized dogs and miniature horses. I demanded to speak to the general manager and they wouldn’t come out of their office instead said they would waive the fee this time but not to return with my registered service animal. As a manager of a Hilton property, and someone with a disability I was appalled at the way I was regarded as both an employee of Hilton and as a disabled citizen. I chose to work for Hilton because I believe in our founder’s brand motto of always being hospitable. This property while having many excellent qualities, did not extend that hospitality to me or my mother who was traveling with me as my guest. This was actually a year ago so I hope they have amended their policies and approach since then. I’ve been to many other properties in the Hilton family, all of which were gracious and kind and at times curious about how my service animal, Deisel affects a positive impact on my life.

Great location in downtown Ithaca. Rooms are a good size, comfortable beds, very clean. Great value. I would stay here again.

I've stayed here a few times now and have had a great experience each time. Staff are friendly and helpful, the free parking at the garage next door is quite handy, and some of the rooms offer excellent views of the surrounding city and Cornell University up on the hill. Definitely recommend it if you need to stay close to the local campus and are looking for an alternative to the Statler.

Good clean rooms. Could have had easier, free access to drinking water. Good free snacks and coffee in the lobby. Parking a little complicated because of the one way streets but valet is available.

Great location just off the Ithaca Commons, very convenient to lots of cool stores and restaurants. Friendly staff (they even handled a late-night fire alarm in stride) and comfortable rooms. We stayed during the late-June heat wave in 2018 and the AC struggled a bit to keep up, but the room was still cool enough to be comfortable.

Staff was great. Able to valet my car at a breeze. This hotel is near so much shopping, restaurants and bars. Would recommend staying. Room was good.

We stayed here for second time because it’s the best hotel in this college town. Room are pretty spacious and beds are comfortable. Its location is very convenient. The only inconvenience is their free parking place, which is the public parking building right cross the street.

Stayed here for a girls bachlorette weekend with 3 friends. The hotel was beautiful and well kept, the restaurants on site exceeded expectations. But the hotel staff were some of the best I have seen in a long time, not only were they super professional but they were so knowledgeable and personal and there for anything that was needed. I Highly recommend staying at this hotel and cannot wait to come back.

We requested a non smoking room. I am highest tier loyalty program. Received a room marked non smoking, but the stench old tobacco billowed out upon opening the door. We informed the front desk, the agent initially wasn't sure what to do, because after all, it was *marked* non smoking. The next day, returned to room about 2 PM, still no housekeeping and went for a nap. At three thirty, there was a note on our door that they couldn't serve our room today. They eventually came and replaced some of our towels. Next time, Hampton Inn I guess. Many homeless vagrants in the commons across the street UPDATE: Upon checkout, the front desk staff noted they had seen this review and asked how to make it up to me. In the end, they credited me for one of my two nights. I will stick by my review but at least management is interested in making things right and that is pretty good!

Good prices, friendly and helpful staff, great location, very nice overall. The place also has this nice Irish pub towards the lobby. The elevator if your not going to the office, jumps from floor 1 to 6 which was kind of funny. It's next to town square so finding food is easy. It's about a mile or 2 from Cornell so you could walk for half an hour or get the shuttle to drop you off.

Overnight stay after a concert at the nearby State theater was excellent. Staff was very pleasant. I wish I'd had a bit more time to enjoy the beautiful lobby, the free coffee/tea station there was a welcome sight. The suite we reserved was immaculately clean with nice views. Location is great, plenty of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment within minutes walk. Whirlpool tub made my night after a bit of walking in the cold! I'd absolutely recommend.

Pull-out sofa bed wasn't very comfortable but other than that womderful amenities and convenient location.

All of the staff were amazing. The service was great. The meeting room we were in left a lot to he desired although as I didn't make the reservation I'm not sure if that is the fault of the hotel or the person not relaying exactly how much space would be needed.

Comfortable and quiet place close to the commons and all the “action” in Ithaca. Parking was included and was easy to access. Multiple restaurants accessible without going outside in the 5 degF air. I took away one star because the bed was not long enough. I’m 5’11” and I barely fit in the otherwise comfortable bed.

Locaion is good, staffs are very nice and helpful, accommodation is great. No regret for staying here, strongly recommend to stay here.

The hotel is quite nice. The decor is modern and lovely, and there's a nice area in the lounge where citrus water, coffee, tea, and cookies are always available. The rooms are not particularly large, but they're fine, and the showers are nice. We used a hotel shuttle to get to us to an event, and the shuttle driver, Jason, was awesome. I would stay at this hotel again.

Our adjoining rooms were very nice. We appreciated the extra security of having to use a room key card to access our floor via the elevator. Housekeeping did an excellent job of cleaning and of helping when we inadvertently locked ourselves out of one of the rooms. The location of the hotel was great for our purposes. We parked our car in the parking structure and only used it once during the 3 days we were there. The rest of the time we walked to shops and restaurants since the hotel is one block from the Commons. There was our 3rd or 4th stay at this hotel, and we would definitely use it again in the future.

Have the right amount of speed on the elevator so there is no sudden stop really smooth.

Recently stayed in the Casadilla Suite! It was awesome! All of the staff is fabulous too!

I only stayed one night for a business event. It is located within walking distance to several good restaurants. My room was clean and spacious.

I recently visited for an overnight getaway. The location is excellent as the hotel is centrally located and near shops and restaurants. The staff was courteous and helpful and the room was clean although a bit dim even with the lights on. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were either too soft or too firm with nothing in between. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I will definitely consider this location again for future visits.

Decent hotel. Room was clean, staff very courteous and helpful. Breakfast sevice lacking somewhat. I'm looking at my meal sitting on the counter for 10 minutes now waiting to be brought to my table. I ordered an omelette because the "help yourself buffet" doesn't exist. You have no access to the warm items — only breads and fruits, or 'make your own' waffles. Other than that, it's an okay place to stay.

Thank you for a truly wonderful stay! Also — I left my charger in the room and called just to see if that's in fact what I had done. I had my call returned very quickly and the charger was popped into the post shortly thereafter. Icing on the cake of a great visit!

Nice HGI in a good part of Ithaca, with parking right across the street in a garage (valet or self parking). As is typical with HGIs, this one serves both breakfast and dinner in restaurants that are associated with the hotel (I was also given a coupon for a free glass of wine or draft beer with dinner, a nice touch). The suite is nice and large with a jacuzzi, and the staff were very welcoming. Overall, I'm enjoying my stay.

Hotel staff is phenomenal. The building and grounds are well kept and the rooms were clean and up to date. Overlooking the lake on each floor there is an underutilized seating area. We enjoyed watching the night go by sitting there. Next time we get away to Ithaca, we'll be back.

Very pleasant stay. The hotel is very clean and the main lobby is nicely renovated. The rooms are a bit old, and will probably should be renovated in a few years to keep the modern feel, but there is nothing wrong with the rooms as presently appointed. The hotel is in a very convenient location in downtown Ithaca, just a walk across the street to the Commons and all the restaurants and bars. In the same building is a paid breakfast area and a bar for lunch and dinner. Parking is not attached to the hotel, but they will validate in the lot across the street.

Hilton Garden Inn was in the center of Ithaca placing you right near shopping, restaurants, and bars. The hotel was kept nicely and had a clean and modern feel. The rooms were big enough for 4 which was nice for our larger party. The hotel staff was prompt at delivering some extra towels to us and also extra soaps and shampoos. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Rooms were clean and a nice size. Very centrally located. Front desk staff was outstanding! Very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again as well as recommend this hotel to friends! Thank you!

Great location. Right down the street from the moosewood and an awesome yoga studio named Ahimsa. Hotels like this provide you with the ability to uncover little hidden gems within a town like Ithaca.

I was here for 3 weeks on business. Hotel staff are super friendly and very helpful. Rooms are very nice and clean. They even have parking right across the street in a parking garage which is super convienant and hassle free. Brunch is decent and Kilaptricks had pretty good dinner. I would love to come back in the summer and visit the area for pleasure and stay here again.
