Excellent place to stay… beautiful back area with a deck. The owner was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be coming back to stay here!

Took my wife for a weekend of wine tasting was greeted by the cutest greeters was a very nice place kinda seems like home.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and gorgeous lake views for the price. Air conditioning could be upgraded. But overall great place to stay would definitely book there again.

Lovely setting and great owners. NOT a chain hotel setting. Clean, comfortable rooms with a cool small motel vibe. We Ubered somewhere and couldn't get back (not good coverage, Uber). One of us had stayed behind and Jeff got them into the room got car keys and we avoided a) a 20 mile walk or b) $100 cab ride. All done with a smile and no problem. THANKS JEFF we'll see you again.

Not the place to stay if you are looking for a modern fancy motel, but if you are looking for a clean, cozy, comfortable rooms with pleasant and helpful owners, this place is great. Gives you more of a country B&B feeling.

We could not have been more disappointed in our stay. Our room had a broken dresser pull, bugs in the ceiling light, broken light switch cover in the bathroom which also sported a very rusty heat register and :on — demand" hot water that took more than 8 minutes to heat up. Their website touted a boutique-style property but it was just a rather dismal motel.

Such a lovely Inn. Clean, comfortable, and cosy as well as private. Meaning the owners are not always around but if you need them they are only a text away. We stayed here recently and if your looking for convient and clean this is the place. Many motels these days do not put importance on clean. These owners do. I run a residential house cleaning biz so I'm a stickler about clean hotels when I'm away. I was thoroughly satisfied with this place. Convient to the wineries in the area as well as shopping and eating establishment. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Pat and Brenda.

Small motel ran by very accommodating hosts. Rooms were very clean and cozy. While the rooms could use a little updating like curved shower curtain rods, and touch up paint, the personal touches far outweighs them, reading novels presented on the bed, ambient music upon daily return, the view from the outdoor seating and evening fires. In the middle of the west side of sennaca lake made the travel to most of the wineries easy and convenient…

Booked the suite for our anniversary and it was wonderful! Jacuzzi and private balcony was absolutely amazing and the staff friendly and helpful! Room was very clean and when requested, the staff quickly refreshed our room while we were gone on an errand! We will definitely be returning!

I booked a bachelorette party that was supposed to be held in August 2017. Due to money issues, the bachelorette party needed to be held elsewhere because not everyone was able to pay me. I canceled the stay in February (which is 6 months in advance) and had to keep calling, and facebook messaging until April to receive the refund for the first 1/2 of the payment. Also, when I spoke on the phone with the owner to cancel the stay, he was very rude and unprofessional and said that he will give me my refund when he gets to it. Now it is July and I noticed that $1900 was charged to my credit card from the savannah house. They charged me the second 1/2 of the payment after all of the calling and emails I had to go through to cancel. I have emailed, called, and facebook and still have not heard anything back AGAIN. I am so done with this place. If life throws you a curveball and changes need to occur, this place is horrible. They are rude and unprofessional when it comes to having to return money. I will never recommend to anyone to stay at this location.

This is not an Inn. It is a motel. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and springs were making it lumpy. Decent location in regards to wineries though. No frills motel with almost no amenities.

Brenda and Pat are gracious hosts Cozy, Clean and very comfortable. Right in the heart of the Seneca Wine Trail. Perfect for our weekend get away.

This place is a joke. Went to check the place out in the afternoon and no one was there to show me around. Called the owner, Pat, multiple times for him to finally call back at 9:30 pm. Pat was condescending on the phone. Then asked for my credit card information wanting me to pay in advance after I had told him that I wanted to meet up so I could check the place out first. I asked if they had rooms with double beds and his response was "this aint no flop house". All they want is your money, he doesn't care about potential customers. Good luck trying to get a hold of anyone, and if you do be prepared to talk to an A-HOLE! Take your business elsewhere P. S. The only reason it got 1 star is because I couldn't post this review without giving at least 1.

A group of 8 of us stayed here for my bachelorette back in June and we couldn't have picked a better place! The owners were SO nice — — the sweetest, friendliest people you could ask for, and they always checked in to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. It felt like we had known them forever, and they truly made our visit memorable! We booked the bachelorette package with a limo tour for the day (and massages), and ended up adding on a second day with a limo to enjoy all the area wineries. Both limo drivers through their recommended local company were friendly and accommodating (and helped keep us on schedule with our appointments… and were able to handle a group of 8 rowdy girls! ). I highly highly recommend staying here! Also the location was great — — we weren't too far from downtown Watkins Glen and a lot of the wineries we liked were on the southern part of the lake, so they were quick to get to! Being from New York City where everyone can be a bit stuffy and you don't always get the best service… this was a breath of fresh air and they really made us feel at home. We even all took a group photo before departing! (I'll have to find it and add it to the review! ). Thanks so much for a great stay and we all can't wait to come back!

Me and my husband had another honey moon in your perfect suit and we still thinking about the nice atmosphere you created for us in your place! I want to thank Brenda for the little details you set in our suit, the music, your feminine touch in our bed and the fragances around us were the perfect cloud we were looking for in our short vacation of three days! Thanks Pat, for the international coffees and teas you prepare for us every morning and of course we enjoyed your stories and your knowledge you shared with us! Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful views of Seneca lake from the room. Service was excellent.

Everything started out okay for a nice romantic weekend, and we loved the room that we rented for the weekend, but the way the weekend ended is why I am giving this review. After our wine tour we went for dinner to celebrate my birthday and came back for a nice evening together. When we got inside I noticed the roof was leaking water, huge spot on the couch, and quickly realized that the ceiling was buckling in every room. It had snowed recently but there was very little left on the roof. What seems to have happened is the snow/ice became trapped in the ceiling and when the temperature warmed up everything began to melt. Due to this weight, in every room of the suite, we decided to start packing our things in case the roof collapsed. During this time we called the main office number and the cell phone numbers listed from their email and in the room. One of the phones was disconnected and we received no answer from the other two. Fearing for our safety we left, in a snowstorm, to find a hotel where we could be safe. Since then, several weeks now, we have been trying to reach them but nobody will answer our phone calls or emails. In short, the people that run this establishment are rather shady and do not care about the customers.

If you want an economical place to stay while you lavish the wine trails, this will do the trick. The only bad thing about this b&b is the rooms are packed together so it can be noisy and you do get some highway noise. The view of lake Seneca is gorgeous and the owners are very nice.

Don't try and give a bad review on trip advisor — the owner will post a nasty reply and try and twist what was purchased and promised. We stayed in the wildflower cottage and paid an extra $500 for a driver and wine trail passport we never received the passports and had to purchase on our own, the owner refused to take our calls, respond to emails and written correspondences about this, which was an additional $75 expense for us. The fire pit was completely unusable — it was a raised pit and was rusted out with no bottom. The grill was a walmart special charcoal grill that fell apart as soon as we went to remove the lid, didn't matter because the promised supply of charcoal was nonexisitant, again they would not return our calls while we were staying in the cottage about this. The cottage smelled musty we had to air it out and light candles to help with the smell. Never again will we stay at place where the owners are so defensive and rude in the trip advisor comments they made no offer to right THEIR wrongs with the package that we booked.

I must say, my wife and I have stayed here 4 or 5 times, and will continue to choose the Savannah House. We come to the Finger Lakes to sample wine and relax. That is what we get here. The rooms are great! They are just what you want after a long day of wine tasting! Pat and Brenda are the best hosts! If you are looking to just have a good time, enjoy the wineries and relax, this is the no — nonsense place to stay. You will love it! If what you want is bright lights bells and whistles, car alarms, and bars… (and the big price tag to match) then this is NOT the place for you. Like I said at the start, I come here to drink wine and relax. The wineries handle the first part and Pat and Brenda do the rest. Done.
