What a great venue to host your event at. The staff is super friendly and the food is amazing.

Great specials for dinner when they run the * special board *! I'm there week after week on the top floor and hot water is instantaneous. You don't find that in many hotels even on the first floor. Staff are friendly and do more than their job.

Definitely very quiet and clean. I enjoyed my stay here.

The staff was friendly and very helpful and the place was very clean and inviting. We stop there for few drinks the night before and return the next morning for breakfast everything was fresh tasty. We even canceled our stay at another hotel and booked a room with them. 😁 very satisfied guest.

While staying @ the Ramada across the street we discovered the Doubletree by Hilton had a bar & we went to check it out & love it & cancel our room and booked with them & couldn’t be More happier! The food the staff & the Hotel is just amazing!

The Double Tree by Hilton Syracuse is a fabulous venue to work with as a wedding planner. They are very accommodating for our clients and easy to work with. Be sure to check them out as you look for your venue for your wedding.

My parents stayed there housekeeping was very rude bathroom had feces on toilet took an hour to get someone up to there room will never let my parents stay there again ask to speak to manager and the housekeeping manager was the only one on duty but she was just as rude NEVER.

Stayed here for Slumber Party event. I thought the beds were very comfortable, hotel staff was very attentive and addressed a plumbing issue immediately. I had a great time!

My friends and I stayed for Amy’s Slumber Party and did not enjoy our experience. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the pillows weren’t very supportive of your head and neck. It had an odd scent all throughout the hotel (similar to a perm chemical smell) and the food was underwhelming. Unfortunately since one of the ladies I went with went to the extent of trying to sleep on the floor to see if that was more comfortable (which she found out it wasn’t since she had no blankets since there was no extra so she had to resort to using bathroom shower towels) we checked out at 5 A. M. We got very little sleep and feel very discouraged by attending again.

Nice clean hotel, bathroom was very clean and loved the amount of towels.

Just a quick note about room service; excellent. Great phone call, followed by quick service. Friendly server. Food was fantastic! Fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly.

I have to admit I like newer hotels but wasn't bad for one night.
Checking in was amazing the clerk was very nice and helpful. Both girls were very friendly. Thank you.

Had a work conference in the grand ballroom. The room was very clean and professional looking. The tables had table clothson them. Each table had a pitcher of water and 6 water glasses, along with hotel notepads, pens and mints. In the hall they had beverages and muffins and danishes. The ladies room was clean and well stocked. All hotel staff I came in contact with was very nice and professional.

The hallways didn't look very nice. The popcorn ceiling and consistent dirt, scuff marks, and worn paint left much to be desired with the design. The room was okay. The shower worked great but the towels were very stiff and rough. The bed and pillows were comfy if you like soft. Nice television. The restaurant inside the hotel is very pricey and there isn't much around to eat unless you have a car or feel like walking.

I have only good things to say about the Syracuse DoubleTree. The rooms were very nice, the bartender was excellent, as was the food in the restaurant. I did not personally use the pool or exercise area but both looked very nice. Above all, the staff were personable and extremely helpful. More than once they remembered a request that they couldn't fulfill and came to seek us out and let us know the moment something changed. Plus the free cookie tastes great.

Recently renovated and looking good! Fancy automatic coffee machine in the lobby. Water bottles and chocolate bar in my room. Fridge. Only microwave is in the lobby. Nice restaurant! Had to leave before breakfast : (Nice staff!

Typical high standards from a Hilton Property. Staff courteous, professional and helpful. Facility is immaculate. Love the fact that they have both an indoor and outdoor pool. The fitness room was clean. The equipment was working and there were plenty of machines. Disinfectant wipes for the machines. My husband and I got an unrequested perk-we booked a King room. When we walked in we actually had a King courtesy suite at no extra cost.

Went for a work meet and greet type thing. Had international food stations, very good. Nice, big facility. Had trivia night going on was interesting. Overall pretty good. Staff nice.

The room was clean and spacious with fridge, tv, dresser, closet desk, and chair with footstool. Everything was comfortable and easy. The bathroom was clean with shower/tub, sink and toilet. There offer a breakfast buffet which was very nice including pancakes and french toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and tons of fresh fruit. It was just over $11 for the buffet. They offer room service as well as a breakfast you can order the night before to be delivered to your room at a specified time. There was plenty of parking even though there were multiple events going on at the same time.

Went there today for mothers day brunch. The remodeling looks wonderful! The staff were extremely kind and curteous and the food was great. We go every year for mothers day and will definitely continue on our little tradition there!

Very nice hotel, but the room severely hindered the experience. Great for business conventions, as there are a plethora of meeting rooms both big and small. The lobby is beautiful, and features a bar, and attached ballroom. Unfortunately, none of the outlets in my room worked due to the way they were designed, in a strange concave way into the wall. The towels/bathroom supplies were limited and not replenished as often as they should have been. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was super wonky and I was u able to comment the entirety of my stay. Overall, it's a nice hotel with a pleasant design and the employees were all nice, but the room situation killed the experience for me.

The hotel itself is very beautiful when you walk in. It is very clean and organized. The staff are exceptional, all very friendly and very entertaining. The shuttle drivers make the rides enjoyable wity great conversation, and the rest of the hotel staff are very friendly and fun. The 4/5 is purely because there is always room for improvement: the shower is a few years old, understandably, but a new shower head would be good. It really is a lovely place to stay.

Nice rooms and good food help this property. The bathroom is small with the door entirely too close to the toilet. The balance of the room is nice with a great TV. The security, corridors and elevators leave much to be desired. I have stayed several times arriving from midday to midnight to find exterior doorways unlocked and available for anyone to enter. The sliding glass doors in the room did not lock. I was on the 7th floor so it was no so much of a concern but the door did not close tight allowing a gentle breeze of 20F weather to come in. The corridors need paint and consistent attention. The elevators are extremely slow. I checked in after midnight with limited activity going on and still waited 3 minutes for an elevator. During the day I waited 4-5 minutes while staff used the elevator to go down one floor. This can be a great property with focus and attention.

Great New Years Special with delicious dinner and dessert table after midnight, champagne at midnight, great entertainment, comfortable rooms, nice pool, hot tub, sauna, and excercise room. Could use a few more portable bars in the fun hall, but breakfast with buffet and cook-to-order, with plenty of juices, fresh fruits, even cereals, was a nice send-off. Second year we have been and it is well worth it!

Very impressive! Interior & furnishings were very nice. Cloth table covers are rotated after every use. Our meal was somewhat expensive, & I was somewhat put off by the $7.00 price tag for a bottle of Sam Adams. But Kim, our waitress, was very polite & efficient. Our meals also arrived very quickly & we felt welcomed there. We won't go often due to the expense, but I recommend it.

Hotel remodel was very nice. I love the open lobby area. We had a room on the first floor with a glass sliding door that was very difficult to open. Staff was friendly. I felt the room could have been a little more clean though.

Very nice clean place. The bar in the evening was fun and the breakfast buffet with omelette station was awesome. The only thing negative I have to say is when we came down to swim, use the hot tub and sauna there were a lot of small children in the hot tub which should not be and there were some raised exposed nails in the sauna seating, which I told the front desk about and the nice gal there immediately called someone about it… but we were hoping that 9pm that pool area and facilities would've been a bit more adult and quieter. We would definitely stay there again. Fantastic.

Stayed here over the weekend. Almost every aspect of our stay was wonderful. The front desk staff was welcoming and accommodating, the bar staff Saturday was great. We were able to get a bottle opener and wine glasses quickly and without a hassle. Room service was good. The room was clean and the balcony was a nice amenity. The reason I deducted two stars was the hostess on Sunday morning. She was not welcoming at all, made it seem like we were causing her a problem by wanting to get something to eat, and ultimately we ended up eating somewhere else due to her attitude. If you're going to stay here and feel like a paying customer, skip the restaurant.

“Hot tub” was not hot at all. Not much difference in temperature from the pool. Snowed overnight, staff finally got around to shoveling the 6” of snow around 1:30pm. Room heat never got above maybe 67. Would not get any higher even after adjusting thermostat to 75.

The room was absolutely fine. However, when we went for the buffet breakfast we were told that there buffet breakfast wasn't being offered that morning. Unfortunately, we were not given a clear explanation as to why this was. Considering this was supposed to be included in the cost of our room, I feel that we should have been given a complimentary meal in place of this.

I am a Hilton Diamond Member who stopped in with family to discuss an upcoming event we wanted to hold at location. We were shocked on how unfriendly and rude event coordinator we spoke to was. We walked out and were amazed on how unprofessional she was and could not believe people would actually book events through her. She definitely did not seem like a good fit for her position. It actually gave us all a great laugh! As I stay and book meeting rooms at numerous Hilton property’s throughout the year, I can guarantee this DoubleTree in Syracuse will not ever be of interest to my colleagues, friends, family, or myself. I would strongly urge others to take their business elsewhere as well!

Came in with a reservation for 16 people on Christmas day and we had been given a private room. The food was very good and Ivan, the bartender/our server was very attentive and personable. Very glad we came to celebrate the holiday.

Able to do early check in and late checkout, room was clean with fast working central air/heat. Upon arrival was greeted with 2 hot fresh cookies the hotel was located 15 minutes from Destiny USA and downtown area. I would stay again and recommend for those trying to have a quiet get away, bonus having the bar located downstairs. All the staff and service were excellent.

The hotel was easy to get to from I 81. The conference I attended there was great. It was very nice. The lunch that was provided was delicious!

Wonderful staff! I used their venue for my wedding and could not have been happier! They did a fantastic job and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reception venue!

Pretty snazzy place. The rooms are outdated, but the new lobby renovation is super nice. The check in and open your room with the Hilton app is pretty cool do. Don't even have to talk to anyone if you don't want to. Wish they would fix the balcony doors though. I almost give myself a hernia trying to open them every time I stay here. I'm a reformed smoker, I only vape now. Every though it's harmless and smells like I burned a fruit flavored candle when I use it, I still don't do it inside. Those balconies could be nice. Yes. I realize this is Syracuse and it's rarely if ever nice outside, but I still go out even if it's snowing sideways. I've stayed here probably 10 times in the last 2 years and it's nicer every time I go.

First of All, I would like to Thank Greg from the front desk for all his help and Great Customer Service! The Hotel is nice and clean, same goes for the rooms. They have an indoor pool for winter time. They only have soft pillows in the room, I wish they had at least one firm pillow, even if it is in the closet. Breakfast is not included though.

The hotel and the rooms are clean. The hotel is well located, the pool and the spa are an asset. There is a bar and restaurant, as I do not drink alcohol I was asking for sparkling water at the bartender this one did not want me to pay, I enjoyed it. I will return without hesitation.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had with a hotel. We arrived just past the posted room available time (3:10) and we're told it would be about 20 minutes. 3 hours later (with many attempts to access our room) we were given access. We were told they were short staffed, although it appeared that the visiting football team from Pitt, had immediate access to their rooms, go figure. We were never compensated for our long wait and my wife fell asleep on the couch. We will not be coming back anytime soon.

A beautiful hotel. Very updated and modern. Our room was very nice. It was a little wet smelling and the ceiling was cracked. Room 401, but it was overall nice.

Clean room for a good price. We didn't do anything in the area since we were just passing through so I don't know about the location. The staff was friendly and the lobby was really pretty.

Really nice hotel. Really clean, had large rooms, comfy bed, and has a nice pool to use. Breakfast isn't included, but there's a McDonald's a minute away where you can eat. There's also many restaurants nearby which are open late (11pm). Overall, a great hotel.

Nice location relatively close to town centre but far enough for peace and quiet. Rooms are a little old but very cozy. Service was good but sometimes hard to communicate; not all the workers are fluent in English.

Good hotel in most ways. Just wish they'd get rid of those stupid new luggage carriers that barely work and I also am mot to fond with the small beds for family stays, me and my brother couldn't fit on the one that we had to share and the shower in the room was also undesirable. Food was good though, and the service and extra facilities are what I would expect of the Hilton franchise and I am please with my stay.

Love this hotel because the location is extremely convenient. But if you are in a wheelchair the bathroom is accessible but the rooms are really hard to move around in. Very small rooms! But love the pool and cookies so good! Also every staff member I had encountered went out of their way to accommodate me! Very pleasant and outgoing for sure! A++++ service for sure! Even though I can't move around this still is the only hotel I stay at when I come to Syracuse because of the staff members!

From the very beginning of planning our wedding Courtney and the DoubleTree staff were amazing. The bridal tea gave us the perfect idea of how our wedding would be and the tasting was amazing. Courtney helped us customize the menu and accommodated food allergies while still providing us with all of the special touches we wanted for our reception. Half of our wedding was from out of town and DoubleTree provided the great accommodations for our large crowd. The ceremony, reception, late night snacks and farewell brunch were all perfect thanks to the great food, drinks and service.

I visited the Double Tree by Hilton to meet a family member staying at the hotel. The lobby, bathrooms and hotel rooms all appeared nice, clean and in order. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

We were greeted by Patrice with warm chocolate chip cookies when we checked in at midnight after a long day on the road, the room was very clean the bed was ridiculously comfortable, in the morning we had breakfast in the dinning room and were greeted by a very sweet server Bonnie and had a wonderful breakfast. We look forward to stay again and would recommend this hotel highly. Keep up the good work!

I'm here to take part in the weekend meeting. Hotel staff were very attentive, the room comfortable and quiet. Ample parking at the hotel. If hotel can provide more luggage would have been preferable, especially while there are several teams of people to check-in or check-out time. I didn't eat in the restaurant. Bar staff were very friendly.

We stayed at the double tree by hitlon hotel for one night. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had excellent service while staying there. Would definitely stay again.

Tiny Bathroom. Beds are comfy. Breakfast buffet had great muffins, but service was lacking, and it was overpriced. Overall satisfaction, but nothing special.

Overall a nice Hilton property to stay at, one particular staff member Doug is an amazing asset to this hotel. Doug, is always the friendliest, kindest, shuttle driver I've ever met. More of his peers as this place should take a few lessons from him.

My son and I had a great stay. We spent 3 nights while enjoying the State Fair. All the staff were very kind and courteous to any of our needs. The shuttle drivers were awesome getting us to and from the train station, as well as a couple local site seeing ventures. Our room was directly by the elevators on 6th floor which never once caused a issue, was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the pools very much. Only very small drawbacks to the hotel (for us), breakfast we thought was a bit pricey for our needs (they do have complementary coffee in AM), and not much with in walking distance. Not a huge issue due to the very well run shuttle and they have a little store We had a great little vacation, and the hotel and staff surely played a major part in that!

We unfortunately did not have a great experience at this hotel. When we arrived the hotel was not cleaned. There were hairs on the toilet seat, used kleenex in the box and a dirty towel hanging up. The supervisor who came to help was very nice and helpful but unfortunately that didn't fix the uncleanliness of the room. There is no breakfast and for the price you would expect a continental breakfast. Also, the reception at the front desk was not friendly and welcoming. I definitely would not visit this particular hotel again.

Our room wasn't ready when we went to check in at the time stated anyone could check in at. When we asked why it wasn't ready for the time state on their website the lady got a attitude and told us we would just have to wait.

Old Marriott. Staff is great and Burger is awesome! 741 is a nice suite but furniture is dated.

After making a reservation with double tree I was transferred to a different associate for a "promotional program" after answering a few questions I was asked if my income was over or under $80, 000 a year. When I replied that it was under the "gentleman"I was speaking with said "you have to make over $80, 000 a year to qualify for this promotion. Thank you very much have a nice day" then he abruptly hung up on me. I then called back and cancelled my reservation. I can not give a review on quality of facilities because after I was hung up on like I was a mere peasant it was quite clear to me that my hard earned money was not "good enough" for this facility.

My weekend stay went well. Normally when visiting New York I stay with my mother. The Double Tree is not home but sufficient. The rooms were large and clean. I enjoyed being handed a nice oatmeal chocolate cookie as I checked in. The price was accommodating. I am giving a four star, as when I was taking a bath I did see some yellow runs on the basin of the toilet.

Just stayed the night. I ate in the resturant when I got here and the food was nothing specail. The service at the resturant was pretty terible. When I got into my room I found a broken coffe maker, called service for a new one and they said they couldnt give me anything but they told me room service would bring me one, they never did. Other than that the room was nice and clean with a great bed.

Named my price of $60 on Priceline and got Doubletree. It was worth worth over a $100 a night. The only disappointment, and a great disappointment at that, was the food at dinner. I ate at the restaurant 4 nights and each meal was poor, except the quesadilla. So, if you are after typical bar food maybe they can do that pretty decent. I hate to go out and find a restaurant when I am eating by myself, but I will not eat here another night.

I knew we would arrive late, so I made a reservation on the Doubletree website (not Expedia, Priceline,. ) : non-smoking room, two double beds. The front desk gave us our cookies and sent us up to a smoking room, with one king size bed. How strange. When we trundled back down, the front desk said they had no other rooms, and sent a rollaway. I'm sure they would have charged my credit card if I hadn't arrived. Why did they oversell the room I reserved? (Maybe the State Fair had something to do with that. ) Why weren't the employees empowered to try to make amends other than say, "I'm terribly sorry, sir? " They didn't take back the cookies, but that's not enough to get me to come again.
