The only reason I gave this hotel a 1 star was because it wasn't noisy. The lobby smelled of smoke. We had a non-smoking room but the whole floor smelled weird. Room 218 smelled oddly like vitamins. There was blood on the bathroom wall, and on the door of our room next to the lock. I inspected the sheets due to all this and found many hairs on 1 of the beds, so my daughter husband and I all layed on the other bed in the room because that seemed like the safest option. We were too tired to go through switching rooms because we arrived late after driving all night. Do yourself a favor and keep driving. We will never stay there again. No microwave or mini fridge in the room.

Nice place to sleep. Beds good. Rates decent. No pool. We were in an accessible room, and the shower needs a shelf for shampoo etc.

The room was clean, but showing signs of age. Stained and sagging ceiling tiles in the bathroom and popcorn ceilings in the sleeping area. Signage was misleading about where to find ice machines and vending machines. I gave this place four stars because of the wonderful people working at this Comfort Inn! Everyone was fabulous except for one older gentleman when I was checking out. These cheerful employees were friendly, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable!

The room was nice and clean. The bed unfortunately was only a full size bed. The continental breakfast was good.

The hotel was hit and miss. There was nice attention to cleaning up the look, but the old hotel shown through everywhere. The were water stains on the ceiling and the mattress was very old and not remotely comfortable. The breakfast was very good though. It was fine for passing through but I wouldn't want to stay there more than one night.

Room is nice, for the price. Breakfast is that 'standard fare". For those of us with pets the first floor rooms that have an outside exit are very useful.

Room OK. A/C was fairly noisy, and weatherstripping around it was coming loose. Breakfast was typical until they ran out of milk, and then they checked and there was no more left! Attention to detail folks!

Beds are comfortable, breakfast is good, but the hotel has a funky smell. Kind of like the carpets are wet.

Very comfortable room and great staff. Very helpful to us after a long day's drive. Convenient to main highway but did not feel like getting back into car to go out to dinner. Too bad a decent restaurant is not nearby but that is not their fault! Good breakfast offerings. We would stay again!

Watch your credit cards, they seem to mix up credit cards and charge the cards 2x… customer service calls you a liar when you tell them you were charged 2x… stay away from this comfort inn… the people at the front desk are rude and abnoxious, and call you a liar, the general manager does not return phone calls even with corporate offices asking them to. The fire alarms went off 2 times in 2 nights, due to someone using a vacuum cleaner, all guests had to leave the hotel. Extremely dissatisfied with this.

I am currently staying at this hotel and found a bed bug. Staff was very unamused when we told them about it. Afraid to go to sleep and completely uncomfortable. Unacceptable. I also see that this is not the first post about bed bugs. This is a sanitary issue and I wish I had known before booking with this hotel. ALSO same room as the other guy who complained. Room 406. Time to take care of this issue.

Everything good. Went to carrier dome for event and stayed one night. Staff nice and polite. Breakfast ok next morning, wish they could do a couple more hot choices, like bacon or sausage, we were offered ham, which I am not crazy about… maybe different days have different meats. Don’t know we were there on a Sunday am. I would stay again, quiet at night, nice sleeping.

The custom service is great and the free breakfast was good and varied. The only problem was that the stopper for our tub was broken and they couldn't fix it. Not knocking it for the broken stopper but the fact that they couldn't fix it is ridiculous.

Room was clean, bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was pretty sparse, and the room had no fridge or microwave. Overall, it was a decent stay. Nothing impressive.

Room 406 … traveled there with the trucking company I work for, completely infested with bed bugs. Woke up covered in bites and surrounded by the critters. After reading other reviews, do not be fooled by no evidence of bed bugs… I have pics to prove it, contacted board of health, management took live bugs out in a cup. I see a lawsuit coming their way!

Just a basic hotel with nothing special to offer. Rooms were clean and pretty big for a fairly small location. No real amenities are available but it has a nice entry area by front desk with a gas fireplace plus sitting area other than that it's a warm place to stay. Free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast, McDonald's in the driveway coming in, not much else.

One there's no pool or spa here. The room was nice. Definitely not as you'd see in some hotels for the price. Staff was nice, personable, and helpful. The female on 2nd shift helped me out with every question or need I had and was polite. (A raise in pay is in order) Minus a star not really for something their fault. Google misrepresentation of pool was disappointing.

Stayed here multiply times for Black Friday shopping. Breakfast is always good. Desk staff are always friendly. Ladies that clean the rooms don't understand much English. Sheets had a couple stains on them pillows were too soft.

Areigna (spelling? ) and Thomas were most helpful and accommodating! The room was absolutely lovely, and the housekeeping was on top of their game! A wonderful stay over all!

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They had free coffee/juice and some other stuff too 24/7. The room was spacious and clean. This was the best inn that we've stayed in throughout our trip.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Non-smoking building is a big plus. Excellent breakfast with more choices than usual. Welcoming, friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the area. All for a good price. Excellent value.

Needed to find a "pet friendly" hotel for a last minute trip to Syracuse. While everything was in working order, the room was not "updated" in my opinion. The bathroom SMELLED, the floor tiles were in bad shape and the bathroom door was obvious damaged by a previous "furry" visitor. Glad I brought my own cleaning products with me! Understandably your staying in a "pet friendly" room and things might not be perfect, but then you shouldn't be charged an extra $15 for your pet. My total bill was over $175 for the night! The price was definitely too much for these accommodations. Live and learn.

Not sure if it made a difference but she asked if I was a choice member which I am. The room we received had a king bed very comfortable! A large room with mini fridge and microwave both worked well. AC was also good no odd smells. The room looked like it had been renovated recently. Apparently the bathroom from floor above had leaked leaving some stains in ceiling tiles, other than that the room was fresh and clean. Oversized soft bathroom towels added to our pleasant stay here. Will stay again :-)

Quiet location, get confused a bit when finding the way to the hotel mainly because I arrived at night time and lost signal on my GPS, so I have to eyeball the hotel and pick the right exit on the roundabout. The front desk person is nice, and very helpful. Regular breakfast included (egg, sausage, yogurt, granola, orange juice, coffee, etc). Room is clean and all equipment functions properly. Enjoy my stay there.

Our room smelled like strong body odor and piss when we arrived. The desk said sorry no other rooms available but they could spray the room with some chemical. When I asked what they were planning on spraying he told me the carpet and then told me it was a pet friendly room. That's great if you have a stinky pet. Nice of them to not warn me when we booked. A fine sort of screw the customer approach. Called Comfort Inn customer service and they are closed, nice. Oh yes and the card on our table says 'no smoking', lovely next time I will remember to book a 'non pissing' room.

Pros: easily accessible from highway. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Price good. We had a dog with us and they put us in a room that was easily accessible to a small grassy area. We were also in a room that allowed us access directly outside so we didn't need to go down the hallway or into the lobby with our dog. Cons: there were about 30 fruit flies in our room, room was old.

I'd like to know what hotel they stole these pictures from. Just stayed there this past weekend to visit Destiny USA mall. The first room they put us in had a funky smell, gum on floor, blood stains on bed and toilet didn't work. Was happy they had to switch our room, until we got into the second room with what looked like urine stains on sheets, blood on mattress. Water stains in bathroom, safety lock wouldn't stay on door and well the view was a half torn down hotel next door. Will say that the staff was very nice and the breakfast was good. However, would never recommend or stay here again.

Amazing customer service by Amanda, at the front desk. She was very friendly and helpful. She was also very approachable and made us feel very welcomed. She placed us on the first floor with access to the outside through patio door to accommodate smoking. She also signed us up on Choice points. Accommodations were immaculate and there was an extra area specifically for makeup. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Good selection on their hot breakfast as well. Definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area. Great experience!

He rooms are nice and we'll kept. Though the highlight has been the evening staff, they are always professional and very always kind. My stay has here has been extended twice now and the staff easily rechecked me in and welcome ed me back. A true pleasure over the other hotels I have stayed in the last few months.

Laying here for the fourth sleepless night in a row. Undoubtedly the least comfortable bed — pillow combination I've ever slept on. Neck and back are so twisted it hurts to drive. The first two nights it was so cold in my room I slept with sweats and wool socks. Second two nights it was so warm I could barely stand to be under a single sheet. Pipes make noise every five minutes for whatever reason. Honestly I should've slept in my truck and just used the room for the shower.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Shower still had opened shampoo and soap from previous guest. Breakfast was good except the eggs didn't taste good. All in all for the price paid it was a great value.

The location isn't ideal because of the old hotel that is rotting away. However I like the setup of the reception area and the rooms are being renovated. Friendly staff and a decent complimentary breakfast too. We stay a few times a year for business. Check out Joey's Italian restaurant near the circle for some good Italian food!

The hotel was wonderful! The staff was extra friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. There was even a microwave in the room! The lobby was warm and inviting. Also, the free breakfast was awesome, with so many choices. Overall, a great place to stay!

The service was good, but the place was not so appropriate.

I would liken my stay to "basic shelter was acquired for the night. " Bonus points for being pet friendly, though the cat next door certainly got friendly with carpet. It smelled like Baghdad. Other than that, the room is huge, staff are friendly enough, breakfast is basic.

It was nice even though I didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. They had free Wi-Fi, and complimentary continental breakfast which was a plus… All and all good experience.

The front desk lady was very nice and helpful. (So not all bad) The room that I stayed in was really dirty and unkept. Bathroom fan did not work. Shower had mold and rust. Bathtub was chipped. Stains all over the carpet. I had two queen beds. All the sheets had stains and long black hair in them. I slept in my cloths because I felt dirty sleeping on them. Repair man should be fired as his patch work and upkeep was trouble. When I flushed the toilet water leaked out the top. My room had two doors, one for outside. Outside Door was rusting and had missing parts. Dirty old mat with holes out front. I have stayed in many comfort inn as I have to travel for work. Worst one to date. Should be given a 1 star. Breakfast was a joke. I know it is complimentary, but if you can not offer a half decent one than why bothet. Just offer coffee and a pastry. If I did not arrive late would have found a different one rather than stay.

Pretty comfortable bed, terrible pillows though (small and nothing to them). Nice bathroom, large tub. Decent selection for breakfast. Mini fridge in the room was so loud that it woke me up. The Wi-Fi was very slow, spotty, and took forever to be able to connect to it.

Not very clean. My bathroom when I checked in had some clumps of dirt in two places. The area around the tub looked sort of nasty. The area surrounding it includes a crumbling vacant hotel — — my room had a great view of the open windows and old furnishings. Not a place I'd ever stay again!

Nice and clean place. Bed comfortable and spacious rooms. Hot breakfast is good and lots of room to sit. Wi-Fi speed and availability is really good. Overall, would return anytime.

Great location right off thruway. Heaters are mostly manual so it's either on or off. That is inconvenient. Pretty clean and updated otherwise.

Got bit by bugs in the bed when we turned the heat on. I pray they weren't bed bugs, but believe so as I woke up with several large raised red bumps on my hands, wrists, arms and ankles, that itch like crazy. I didn't put my suitcase on the bed thank goodness. The staff was friendly, but the room was dirty and stuff kept falling off the ceiling onto my blanket. The walls were paper thin. Won't stay there again.

It is the BEST Comfort Inn that I have ever stayed at… ample breakfast, friendly staff, a large room with separate makeup application area… but the best was the exterior door to use when my old dog needed an early am walk! Dont hesitate to stay here if in Syracuse area.

This was booked by my companys travel office, as I was getting ready for the trip, mapping everything out, I noticed the reviews and was a little worried. With my job I spend 30+ nights in a hotel every year. This is not a "new" hotel, but as far as cleanliness goes, I saw nothing to complain about. The breakfast was on par, and the staff was friendly. I also want to give credit to the young man working the desk the morning I checked out. I had a dead battery in my car, I went into the lobby to see if any of the guests would help me out (I had jumper cables). The guy working the desk, noticed what was happening and immediately pulled his car around to help me out. If I had to wait for AAA, I probably would have been late to the appointment that had me in Syracuse.

This place was absolutely horrible. The first room had a live tick in the bed and spiders in the ceiling. The second room was FULL of spiders and webs and it also had dirty sheets. The area is very poor but the staff were accomodating and refunded the stay so we could go elsewhere.

All in all this isn't a bad hotel. What I disliked the most was the cleanliness of the things. The bathroom was the worst contender. While most of the room was updated, bathroom included, the tub was extremely outdated and quite dirty looking. The worst part was the black mold all over the ceiling, which I didn't notice until the morning after. This isn't something that should be taken lightly. I notified the front desk but they just said "sorry about that". Also, the plates and utensils at the complementary breakfast were some of the dirtiest I've scene. Both were really dirty and sticky on the two separate occasions we stayed here. The layout is also pretty poor in that there is no elevator to the higher floors. On the up side: — the room was nice aside from the bathroom — the bed and pillows were comfortable — there is a complementary breakfast which had a pretty good selection of food and drink — the price was good — lots of parking — pretty good location — free shuttle to the airport.

The rooms were decent! Not the best but really not the worst, some were better than others, all were clean. They have def done a lot of upgrades! Our family was there for a funeral with 6 rooms booked from out of town. The Lobby was GREAT and they let us have our family, all 25 of us in the lobby and to use for delivery of dinner after we were at the funeral home, the fam was very complimentary about the space and use of it. The hotel staff made us feel as if this was OUR home to be together. Some of the family were staying elsewhere and joined us there and raved that "this was a great place to meet and eat". It was a relaxing place for us all to be together! The lobby is beautiful with a fire place and living room area and tables! Breakfast the next morning was one of the best "breakfast included" that we have ever had! A large variety of breakfast foods including, eggs and sausage/ham and Belgium waffles, with assorted cold foods.

Pick a different hotel, we checked in late, room had someones else toenail clipping in a pile by the bed which I didnt see till morning, cobwebs, im thinking it wasnt even vacuumed at the least before we stayed there, and someone odd dripping down the shower wall, I hope it was liquid soap or shampoo but who knows. Breakfast was good and the girl doing breakfast seemed like the only hustler good worker there.

Great value for the money. Manager immediately straightened out a mix up with our reservations, was courteous, friendly and helpful. Nice, quiet place. Highly recommend staying here.

This Comfort Inn is convenienlty located, priced right and will meet most of your expectations. Staff is courteous, maintence, cleaniness and breakfast all are at or meets standards. Overall you and your family will be comfotable, you will have saved money. Its not 4 star but its a place you will return to when again in Syracuse. Try it once.
