Adequate. Clean. Room needed some maintenance; a little run down. Couldn't get the front desk to tell me why the "message" light on my phone was blinking… they never responded to my call, though their message said they would call back. Pool was well maintained.

Few items worked well here. Good bed and room, though it took 3 to find one where everything functioned. Way past its prime. There are at least 8 other hotels in sight that are better.

The rooms were clean but we didn't have sheets for the pull out couch which had a super thin mattress. After we called, the front desk sent up a flat sheet. Then the walls are so thin we were able to hear the couple next door, if you know what I mean. Pool area clean but the pool was pretty cold for an indoor pool. A plus was the fridge in the room.

The Ramada Team of Staff in Syracuse, New York, are EXCELLENT in customer service. From the manager, Victoria, assisting our concerns to ensure our stay was comfortable, along with Cliff, the bartender, very accommodating and interpersonal. The Staff were awesome, professional and work hard to be the best in customer service & satisfaction. I would recommend this RAMADA Inn in Syracuse, NY, to everyone!

Great customer service! Huge comfortable beds. Also I was told they offered a great breakfast. Due to my work schedule, Night owl. I did not get a chance to try the breakfast. I heard good reviews/ comments from other customers. When I occasionally would go for a smoke outside, due to non smoking rooms. Will recommend! Thanks again! Stayed a couple days — May 20th.

The walls tried to kill me. There's a thin dividing wall outside the bathroom door to separate the entryway from the bed area. They decided to put a full-length mirror on this wall. So when you get up to pee in the middle of the night, turn off the bathroom light, and turn the corner to get back in to bed, you either smack right into it or get spooked by the ghostly spectre which is your own reflection. Also there's not enough power outlets, the pool is cold, and the pillows are tiny squares like you throw on your couch for decor.

We got there and parked very close to the front entrance. That was a plus. Once we walked to our room the stairs were filthy. It looked like no one had vacuumed in at least a week. The room was warm so we left to go hang out by the pool with the kids. The pool was dirty and clumps of hair were left on the sides of the pool with small black hair ties. The used towels were overflowing in the bin and there were barely any dry ones left. We went back to the room and showered and left for dinner and put the a/c on. That night me and my 3 kids sat in the room and it was 85 degrees in the room when we went to bed at 830 pm. At 11pm it was still super hot (the thermometer didn't move at all and it must have been 95 or more) and we thought about calling the front desk but even if they gave us another room we would have to move all the sleeping kids our stuff. I am pregnant and was miserable. I hardly slept all night and as well as my husband. I could not believe how awful our stay was. The next morning I just wanted to get out of our room and the kids were so happy to go to the pool and eat breakfast. We ate, the food was ok. The apple juice container was broken and water came out. Only 3 yogurts in the refrigerator. The french toast was mostly burnt. In the pool area which opens at 8am, we got there at 845am, Not one clean towel was out for use and the pool deck was just as dirty as the day before. (why was this not taken care of during the night shift when the pool closes at 10pm?

Definitely a budget hotel. TV and one light didn't work in room. Spent 10 minutes waiting to tell someone but they only had one person manning desk. Walls are thin. Could hear every word of neighboring room conversation lasting until 1230 am and by a baby crying at 330am. My group got a discounted rate of $100. If I wasn't part of that group@ I'd shop around — many other hotels in area.

Dirty, understaffed. Two staff members were wonderful during our two night stay. All others were overwhelmed with any task or request.

I'm a teacher in a Charter school in Harlem. Every year, we take our 10th grade students on an overnight trip to visit colleges and universities in Upstate NY. We stayed at the Ramada last night after visiting SUNY Cortland and Syracuse University. We enjoyed our visit very much. The check in process was smooth as they had our keys already bundled and ready to go. When we needed to occupy the kids quietly for the last hour before lights out, they were happy to allow us into the lounge because it became a bar at 10pm. Lastly, during breakfast, a few employees stayed close to provide our kids assistance with getting anything (or working the popular waffle machines). Thank you, Ramada! Hope to see you again with next year's new batch of scholars.

The room was clean. Beds were very comfortable! Staff was helpful. Complimentary breakfast was great with lots of options. The gym room was so sad! Equipment was old and needed maintaining.

The staff were friendly, the rooms are ok but the bathroom floor was dirty, the back door of the hotel did not close (anyone can enter the hotel without being seen) and the doors of the rooms (mine and another person) have bad locks. For the 62.00 was not a bad stay, the rooms are decent and the town is quiet. The bar has decent food but not a lot of variety, the bar has a pool table and internal pool.

If I could give no Stars I would, management is horrible, especially at night. They called police on us because they smelled marijuana in the hallway, two diffrent employees and two officers entered our room and smelled nothing, but we still got a 250 dollar fine. All I did was bring my kids to go swimming and it was the worse experience EVER! pay more to stay elsewhere, it will be worth it!

The room was dirty, the alarm of elevator Sono at night several times. Too bad.

The service was great I had a late check in was tired and went extremely fast. Bed was awesome sleeped like a baby.

It is a bit in need of some refurbishing but we enjoyed our stay due to the kindness and care of the staff. Particularly helpful were the front desk staff and the morning breakfast person. Our room was comfortable and quiet and we enjoyed the pool.

Only visited the bar. Mediocre wait staff. Beer was cold. If you're not above walking, there's a Ruby Tuesday just up the street.

Stayed one night clean good room with comfortable bed great complimentary breakfast free Wi-Fi in the room will stay there again.

Booked a room a couple weeks ago and I can honestly say that it was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. There were bugs all over the walls, room smelled moldy, floor was damp, heater never worked, window ledges are filled with bugs and flies. Not worth the money.

Would not stay at this hotel in the future. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke. Room was damp and musty. Air conditioner was loud. No tub in the bathroom, shower stall poorly setup allowing lots of water onto the bathroom floor.

Air conditioner did not cool the room adequately. Window did not seal. Gaps to the outside. Bed mattress was so springy that when one of us turned over the other awoke. Very, very small, tight bathrooms. Overall, once beyond the lobby area the hotel feels dingy and old.

Probably one of the worst hotels stayed in. Air conditioning didn't work. 85 degrees + outside. Asked for a fan, they said sure we will bring one right up, half an hour later, we called to check, oh sorry we are all out. Housekeeping left a note on our bed hand written, sorry we were unable to clean your room today. REALLY! Room smelled old, even though the hotel claimed they are "Newly remodeled". Very poor experience. Would not recommend to stay here.
