Family Oriented, Food is amazing and the staff is GREAT!

Always a great place to stay miss the old Irish Eatery but the new burger joint is not bad, great staff working here Heather is the best have a great night love staying here.

Stay here every time we come up to do an outage is very nice facility. They have just finished a complete remodel and staff is outstanding as always.

Let me start out by saying thank you Steve at the bar! I was in town for my wedding and he was PHENOMENAL! He took care of us and my family from Wednesday to Sunday. He provided us with the best service I ever had in my life! Thank you, Steve!

Great view of the prison. Ac was old and klunckaty. Decor was modern. Extremely clean. Close to downtown.

I was placed in a room and it had NOT been cleaned! Underneath the bed were crumbs and the blankets had a damp stain of urine where you lay your head? The air conditioning in the room worked extremely well though. Depsite this, I still requested and was placed in another room. This room was cleaner and heavy spray fragrances we're smelt the first night. However the next day an aroma had overpowered the room. The smell of dampness and dirty laundry was evident. The manager helped but the employees are slacking. Two rooms and both were lazily cleaned. It is a VERY good facility but the level of cleanliness does not match the structures grandeur.

This somehow saved as a draft since last year but I think it was important to post. Nothing was ever done other than signing me up for rewards points which a year later I still have zero. Hotel managment hopefully has been changed since** Had 26 rooms blocked for my wedding at this hotel. Everyone's rooms were ready when they arrived but the BRIDE AND GROOM'S Suite! I was told we don't have a room, the hotel is booked solid and I will probably need to go to another hotel (even though all my guests are here for us. ). After an HOUR (give or take) of back and forth (and trying to make me pay for a room which I was told was free for the bride and groom) we received an old not updated room and the sink was broken. Nothing like the stress of being exhausted at the end of the night and told you don't have a room after giving them all that business. When I spoke to the manager Pat I was informed the girl I worked with quit on the spot a couple months ago. Seems they cannot get it together here. I understand people quit. But to not stay on their work and at least ensure the bride and groom's room is situated is ridiculous. Pat said he would fix this and get right back to me. It's been a week and not even an apology/follow up phone call. I'll change my review if even they attempt to fix this however a wedding night cannot be changed.

I would not recommend this hotel at all, especially if AC and cleanliness are important to you. Some of the rooms have recently had new AC units installed. We were originally placed in one of those rooms, then the AC stopped working. Also, the room had not been completely cleaned. We found used toiletries left in the shower from the previous tenant and hair all over the bathroom. Once we informed the front desk about our malfunctioning AC, they sent up a tech to look it over. Once they realized the AC unit in our room couldn’t be fixed we were switched to a different room with an old AC unit. This room was an improvement, but only in the sense that the fan in the AC unit actually worked, and the room seemed cleaner. However, the air coming out of the AC unit was by no means cold. At best I would say it was cool-ish… When I called down from our new room to inquire about possibly moving again to a room with a properly functioning AC unit, I was told there were no rooms available tonight or tomorrow, and neither of the staff members I spoke with seemed to be at all concerned with our (dis) comfort or inconvenience.

The newly renovated rooms are gorgeous! I would have liked to know that the pool and surrounding area was being remodeled, I was looking forward to the use of the pool. Once its done, it'll be beautiful. Patty at the front desk was amazing!

Was ok but highly disappointed. Pool was closed down and nothing on website about pool closure. It did say renovating but not that pool was closed and drained. Had to switch rooms second day due to bad electrical circuit. Advertised an Irish Pub in hotel, that too is gone. All I heard was hotel would be better once renovations are done. Maybe, but no plan to find out. Staff was friendly and they offered free breakfast for switching rooms and free cookies for all for no pool. Was looking forward to relaxing and swimming. Neither happened. Big event in lobby on second day that was loud and took up all the parking. Auburn historical sites made up for some of it.

Room was very accommodating, beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom looked very modern, expect the slidding door was a little strange. Even though the pool was closed for renevations there is still plenty to be appreciative of. Like the breakfast the next day, the staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful. The food was great, I ordered the big breakfast. And finally, the checkout was easy. Overall, great stay.

The staff is pleasant and welcoming. Good beds meant a great night sleep. The hotel is a little dated and half of it is under renovations which means hammers start knocking at 7am. My room looks like it was remodeled but the pink ceiling was just an odd feature.

Staff was friendly and food was Good the rooms appear to be newly renovated and they were cheaply done. I'm not judging the rest because it's under renovation. The drains are slow in the shower getting water half way up your legs in a strange shower not fun.

Had a lovely time on a snow day. Patti at the front desk is absolutely wonderful. Friendly staff all over. Smiles and Welcoming faces all over. Restaurant was beyond expectations! Highly recommend!

The hotel. Is being renovated so it is mostly dusty everywhere, but it remains comfortable and the staff tray their best to make their best for any inconveniences. The room was nice, but it lacked a refrigerator and a microwave, which made it harder to have food at hand. The room was on the inner side of the hallway, so it was incredibly quiet. Overall a nice stay.

The hotel is going through a remodel, but the service was excellent. Our room appeared to be remodeled already and it was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the service was amazing. The food was good. Highly recommend.

Hotel under renovation. At least 2 floors done, nice job! Modern feel. Gotta give management credit. I know several Holiday Inns have just neglected their property and and downgraded to another brand, but here they're investing in their own business future. In a very tough business.

Hotel was being remodeled. Staff was extremely nice and very courteous. Best waffles we have ever had at breakfast.

Stayed in this 12/29/17 for a wedding (under a wedding block) with my grandmother and great aunt — mind you it was under construction w all the wallpaper in halls down and MOLD showing, pipes all exposed also. It was very disappointing to come to a hotel all tore down with no warning prior to checking in. I stayed on the 5th floor, room was NASTY, towels were dirty looking, bathtub DIRTY, there was no toilet paper, bed sheets had STAINS on them also. The sliding door was broken as well as the handle so it would not open. A whole month later I am being charged an extra 350$ due to ''damage'' to my room that was NEVER DONE. They never called me to tell me this, they dont have pictures to prove this ''damage'' and I cannot get a hold of a manager. Every time I make a call I am told a manager comes in at 330 and I never get a call back. This hotel is ridiculous — They made a mistake and they are trying to avoid it and myself. I reported fraud to my bank as well but I am still out of 350$ for no reason. My 80year old grandmother, 70year old great aunt and myself did NOT damage this room. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, if you have an issue guarantee it will not be solved, very poor management — take your business else where. This place doesn't even deserve any stars.

Staff is attentive, rooms are nice, a lot if decent amenities. Would come back again. No hot tub or sauna but a nice size indoor pool.

The staff was amazing. Renovations going on, but it was decent. Rooms were clean and lots of outlets. Everyone made sure we enjoyed our stay.

We traveled here in a group of 21 people. Found out upon arrival that Holiday Inn did not have the reservation made 9 months in advance. (Our tour director had a signed copy of agreement signed by a former staff member of Holiday Inn. ) Our group arrived at 8:00 in the evening, rooms not ready, we could not get into rooms until about 10:00 pm. Bar not staffed to accommodate group for dinner. Next day our group was called to hotel from nearby town because hotel wanted to talk with our guide. We waited from 3:00 until 5:45 to find out that we could not stay the night and had to bus us 120 miles to Niagara Falls to another hotel. Do not stay here!

We had our wedding in Auburn and had room blocks at the Holiday Inn as well as our 'renovated' suite. The sales person who set up our room block told me 8 months prior to our wedding that she would also book us a suite and that we were all set. When I called a month before our wedding I was told that no suite had been booked for us. Luckily I had to double checked and there was one available. I figured that a renovated suite would be very nice for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in, but the room was disappointing. The ceiling was painted an ugly salmon color and it made the room feel very small. The wall color was kind of cold like a jail cell, the lighting wasn't great, and the renovations just seemed kind of careless. The wallpaper didn't look smooth and it didn't quite meet the ceiling, and there were many other details that made the room seem haphazard. It made me very disappointed that I didn't find something much nicer for my wedding day. My matron of honor had to stay in a room that smelled like musty cigarette smoke, a fight broke out and the police were banging on doors which woke up many of our guests, and the rest of the hotel just seemed dreary even with the renovations. The staff was friendly, but otherwise this hotel was not the classiest.

Air conditioning didn't work at all, it became so hot in our room from the steam from the shower and all of the hair dryers that the smoke alarm was triggered. None of us slept due to the uncomfortable heat. Down in the Falls Room for breakfast we waited for 15 minuets to recieve a glass of water from the hostess and didn't have our order taken for another 10 minuets. The worst Holiday Inn I've ever stayed in. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

I stayed 4 days and enjoyed every minute! The staff was super friendly, My room was spotless, Hotel was clean & quiet (except for the Album release party, but once in my room I didn't hear anything). One of the lady's that works the front desk was so nice and went out of her way to let me have her parking spot when her shift was over. (I'm disabled & had my Service Dog with me so parking in the back by the Medical center was a bit too far of a walk). The staff was all properly trained with how to be with a Service Dog which is so nice to see. Hopefully we can visit the area again!

Really enjoyed the Irish pub for dinner. The room s great except for the barn style door to the washroom. No lock and about an inch gap did not feel comfortable using it.

We had to stay here for a wedding for three nights. We somehow ended up with a room that was not updated and in a dimly lit hall. It was very disappointing to see what we were given when he knew people scattered throughout the hotel who all had updated rooms. In the suite room, the bride had everyone getting ready but some of the outlets didn't work at all even though the room had been updated which limited where the hair and makeup people could set up.

Beautiful, comfortable rooms and very courteous staff. Enjoyable stay, and even with renovations going on ww couldn't notice it!

Great place used to go to company chritmas partys here. Its a place with nice little pub and restaurant inside.

Currently under renovation, but a very positive customer experience. The already renovated rooms are well done and the indoor pool makes for a great family focal point.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The one downside was that it overlooked the pool so we heard all the kids playing until it closed at 10 p. M. And I would have asked for a different room if I'd known about that. We didn't stay for the breakfast because we had to be somewhere but we would have if we were able. We'd definitely stay there again. It's a comfortable hotel in a convenient location.

The hotel had very nice accommodations. Food was well done, room service was quick and better tasting than I expected. There was a lovely pool with several families enjoying time together, even though they woke me up every morning with their laughter. Rooms were clean, bed was comfy, and the shower was very large. I would stay agajn.

I stay at Holiday Inns and Expresses all over the country. This place is barely a 2 star hotel … everything is old and dirty, the fitness equipment is broken, and there is a smell in the building. What's worse is even though every other Holiday Inn for the last 3 years provided me with Breakfast Coupons at my Corporate rate — this one did not. I will never go back and will happily pay more to stay at a nicer place.

I can only speak to the event I attended there. I didn't stay there. As far as the event I feel that the holiday inn in auburn is a good location for that type of event although depending on the amount of people it attendance the space can get quite crowded.

They stay was good but wasnt happy with the pool. It was to cold and the towls are very rough. All said and done the people at the front desk were very nice and the restraunt had great food.

OK so at the Holiday Inn we were there because we had a banquet with a bunch of other people and I had a great time the food was great the hotel room was really nice the place was just really nice.

The rooms were good for the price. The showers worked and the room was clean. The beds were very comfortable and the ping-pong table was nice as well. I recommend this place.

I liked it had truck parking. I drive tractor trailer for a liveing thays all thats good the room was $205 for the night and the nonsmokeing room smelled like a smoker room with a air freshener in it I complained and got nothing out of it I will NEVER go there agaim and will tell everyone I lnow to stay far far away horrible hotel.

Loved it! Got their around midnight, staff checked us in quickly. Room was clean. We requested to have the heat on when we got their and they did! They forgot our trundle bed but security brought it up less than 2 mins with extra blankets and pillows! Loved the balcony, hot breakfast delivered to us, wish it was bigger. Overall excellent stay! Staff. Called me Mr. Murray every time we requested something. Pool was under renovation witch was the kicker. We will def come back in a few weeks for a another relaxing stay!
