This Inn was the cleanest, had a very comfortable bed, and you wanted for nothing, also a continental breakfast was included. Next time we go to Cooperstown we will definitely stay at the Cooper Inn!
This was my first visit to Cooperstown and staying at the Cooper Inn was a main reason why it was such a wonderful visit. First, it is in a great location — just a couple of blocks and few minutes away from a walk to the Baseball Hall of Fame, but more importantly steps away from the many restaurants and shops located on Main Street. Second, the outside of the Inn was as elegant as it is inside. Surrounded by trees with a large gated park leads straight to Main Street, and a deck in the back which oversees a large lawn split by a soothing stream. Upon entering the lobby, the historic hotel is immaculate. Everything is well cared-for and clean, from the carpets to the elegant furniture. The staff were some of the most polite I've ever had at a stay, whether it be unsolicited tips for my stay or courteous greetings when passing by. But most importantly, the rooms were spectacular. Certainly historic as the hotel, but beautifully kept and extremely clean. Hardware in the bathroom was upgraded, floors and furniture were spotless, the bed was super comfy. As far as eating, there is a dining room and restaurant off the lobby, at which I didn't eat but saw several parties at during breakfast. It smelled great, but we opted to dine at one of the local restaurants instead. I couldn't help but compliment the hotel at every opportunity, whether to the staff or to my family. I can't wait to visit Cooperstown again, a large part thanks to my wonderful experience at the Cooper Inn!
