My husband and I travel for his work. So it wasn't a sure thing that we were staying in the area. The owners are awesome and understanding. The landscape and view out your window is great. Wifi is spot on. Rooms are updated and have little extra details you dont find in other motels. If we ever had a question, they took care of it promptly. If we are ever work or vacation around here, we will defined pick this place again!
Nightshade Inn and Gardens is by far the coziest place to stay in all of Syracuse. Set back just off the turnpike the location is both secluded and convenient. Soft microfiber pillow cases and plush mattresses meet weary travelers and the old school room key adds the perfect touch of nostalgia. Whether you’re just passing through or sticking around the Nightshade should be at the top of your list.

What a little gem! Stayed here 2 nights with my daughters during the NYS fair week and couldn’t be happier that we did. Beautifully renovated rooms with decent sized bathroom. Comfy beds, soft comforters, flufffy pillows, good a/c, and easy to get everywhere. We never heard another guest even though the hotel was sold out both nights. The only down side was that my daughter and I both stubbed our toes on the metal bedframe legs, but they still get 5 stars because I’m not sure that was their fault!
