Small town … small town in it was nice thou that the counter was open for business I. The. Middle of the nite for a quick. Stop on the road nothing fancy wat so ever but its a place to rest after a long days work. An a. Lomg day on the road.

Don't waste your money spend a little more plenty to choose from in this town, customer service is horrible and rooms are old and out dated, TV did not work, hot water was spermatic, bedspread had blood stain on it. Good luck if you stay there.

It was a old, dirty room, cockroaches in the bathroom, breakfast was not there. Not worth the 77$

Wonderful old school motel, run by friendly ex-Zimbabwean. Spacious rooms. Great location next to superb supermarket.

Its old and shows it. Needs to be up dated. Needs a good deep cleaning. Breakfast? Not much there. Waffles and cereal. It was good for one night. I've stayed in worse.

Poor. I was waiting for someone that was staying there and the man in the front yelled at me for no reason. Very rude and disrespectful! The rooms are nasty cockroaches and who knows what else. I don't recommend it at all one of the least places I would stay in Socorro!

Gina was wonderful to adapt to our request for 3 rooms together, she went above and beyond. Richard who initially assisted me was friendly and helpful. 3 families had a great two night stay while going to the Bosque del Apache.

The dirties hotel I have ever stayed at. When using the sink the smell of sewer came out of the drain. Mold in the shower cigarette burns on the tub dirty floors dirty walls.

Were super helpful with the number of pets we have.

Only stayed for the night on a work trip, however the room was so filthy I had to wash my feet after I walked barefoot across the carpet. This was a first. Then after closely looking at the carpet, I found some stains that were, yes… crusty. No words. I slept in my clothes.

My stay at the Economy Inn was adequate. The staff were kind but sort of slow, and some of them just vanished. One time a wait staff member was supposed to bring me a plate of suacy mussels. They vanished in front of my very eyes : (

I pulled into the motel at approximately 11:00pm and rang the night bell. My hand slipped and I wasn't sure I hit the bell, so I rang again. Several seconds later some man starts walking up to me with a huge flashlight, waving the flashlight in my eyes and screaming about @$%&ing people ringing the nightbell twice. Literally yelling at me, brandishing this huge flaslight at me and calling me names for ringing his night bell twice. I literally thought I was in a horror movie. I travel the U. S. For business and this is easily the worst experience I have ever had. This man was a completely insane psychopath. Went up the street and happily paid $90 for a room without a psycho ward reject running it. Beware of this place. I still cannot believe this would happen in America. Completely stunned. Never again.

The owner is really friendly and gave us a deal on our room since we told him we were planning on camping but the weather was too bad. Our room was clean and the bed was super soft & comfy, it did smell a little musty though. The exterior could easily deter you from staying here, it looks like they offer longer stays to locals and it seems really run down. The parking lot is very well lit though which was a plus. We've been traveling across country and I've been relying on these reviews and the straight forward ones have been the most helpful so I wanted to do the same. In my opinion for the price it was a good enough place to stay with a pretty good continental breakfast in the morning, I don't know when I'd be back through the town again but I'd consider staying here again if I was. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to everyone though, if you're an easy going road tripper like us I'd say give it a shot!

It is the cheapest hotel that I've visited that serves a breakfast of waffles! The hot water ran immediately, and I liked the mattress. Air conditioning hot enough. Provided bar soap and towels. The fourths had a microwave and freezers also.

Great place for the night. Room was clean, service was good, I had a microwave and fridge which was awesome. I was surprised they had a free breakfast in the morning, it had many items. And they had a restaurant attached to the hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

The handicapped room had a 3" in step into room. I am in a wheelchair and cannot walk. This was very difficult to manipulate. There was 2 doors going into the main office. One had a 4" step into office the other had a ramp. The staff was unwilling to unlock the door with the ramp so I could have continental breakfast. Not a good experience at all.

Probably cheapest place to stay. Manager friendly. Room a little worn as expected at this price but everything worked great.

Inexpensive lodging, decent service. Room clean and equipped w/fridge and microwave, but does show sign of aging. Breakfast selection pretty thin. Good central location.

I stayed here for one night… this hotel is perfect for that scenario. Clean, simple, no frills. Clean, no bugs, no dirt. It's just outdated, no hair dryer, needs some work on the walls, and the locks on the door should be updated/more secure. The continental breakfast is coffee and two types of cereal.

Bad service, never came back here.

Room smelled so bad I had to leave and find new motel. They wouldn't refund me. For a mere ten dollars more the experience is elevated for awful to average. Would recommend a comfort in or something.

This was nicer than many other chain motels I've experienced, with comfortable beds and updated carpets and furniture. The room was clean and comfortable, plus everything worked — AC, heat, plumbing, TV, etc. If you've ever had a room with something that doesn't work, you'll know how important this is. I met the owner, manager and maintenance man, and they all seemed like one family. They were all very nice and treated me like a friend instead of just a customer and made me feel right at home. Plus, almost everything you'll find in a larger city is right there in Socorro without the hassle and traffic.

Okay I'm going to make this down to the point for anyone looking to stay at this motel the rooms are decent you have a refrigerator and microwave the television with basic cable the bath tubs and the toilet thats were my first complaint comes in unable to take a bath at this motel do too the bathtub constantly backing up and a bunch of nasty gunk coming out of the drain filling up the bathtub that was pure nastiness the toilet wouldn't flush upon first flushing you have to flash a second time and then keep the hell down for the toilet to semi flush second or 3rd the internet at this motel is flat out horrible once you get connected you'll be lucky if you don't lose your signal I had to lay down next to the door to get even a poor signal that would still disconnect every 2-3 minutes that was horrible I could never lay on the bed and use the Wi-Fi enabled device do too not staying connected or find any connection this will probably be my most major complaint right now and that being the masses of relentless non-stopping sugar ants that seemed to find their way into the room just to crawl around the sinks to fill up the bathtub with them they're streaming across the bed like it's their migratory path to the bathroom there's just so many cigarettes and I know it's not only in the room that I wasn't because I meant to have back when going to visit my friend in room 8 she had a swarm of cigarettes migrating across her bed al so so if you wanna stay in this place that is if you
