Nice place but upon check in, we found several things that should have not been missed by the cleaning staff.

Our room was not cleaned. Sat on the floor outside our room for 45 minutes waiting for it to be cleaned. No TV remote. Had to go ask for one then it would not turn off the TV. Had to get out of bed to turn off TV. Next day manager Steve explained they were busy the day before but offered no compensation. I asked if we could check out one hour late to make up for the lost time. He agreed but our room key did not work until 1pm? Don’t book room 313. The jacuzzi tub did not work. Waited for the water to fill, had my bath bomb and a candle. The jets did not even turn on. So disappointed. Couldn’t use the jacuzzi downstairs there were four young kids playing in it. Not relaxing. Room advertised with a kitchen. Not one pot or pan to use on the stove? The staff great. Breakfast was great but no not enough to return. I’m so sad with our experience.

We love this hotel! Great rooms, wonderful breakfast, and the indoor pool is a kid favorite.

Huge indoor pool. Free breakfast. Room had a gas fireplace, kitchen and jacuzzi tub. Beds really comfortable.

We arrived on Thursday 7/22 and parked next to a group of young men blasting music and smoking pot in their car, highly reminiscent of a high school parking lot. When we entered our room it was obvious it had not been cleaned, wet towels on floor, sugar spread on countertops of kitchenette, door to exterior open to room (ground floor room). Back to wait in line at check in…. I was assured that this is not typical for the hotel by the Manager, Steve. He briefly apologized while scrambling to find another room in same class…. He assured me new room was cleaned and ready. For our inconvenience we were assigned a room adjacent to the elevator lobby, elevator equipment room and main electrical room for the second floor. The room had a vibration from the electrical transformers, and would shake when the elevators would run (pretty much 24/7). When we awoke next worming to bathe we discovered partially used toiletries and a half filled coffee pot on the counter…. To use the shower you must step over a 30” tub wall into the tub and the tile floor of bath area is quite slick when your feet are wet, very dangerous for those with even minor dexterity issues. The grounds were not well kept, evidence of trucks driving through grass areas with deep grooves from their tires, a definite trip hazard. I would recommend choosing another place to stay if you have a choice.

Very Beautiful & Comfortable Place to Stay! The Staff are Professional, Compassionate, Helpful, Caring, & Friendly. The Breakfast buffet is Amazing. Was literally thrown out of the pool because other people wanted to come in. There were other individuals full dressed in street clothes that had been there longer than us, and they were not asked to leave. Mng. On duty did nothing to correct the issue.

Great facilities! All the staff were so friendly and the rooms were spacious. I will also say the beds were so comfortable as well. Sitting by the fire outside was great at night and we even ate in the patio because of the view. We can’t wait to visit and stay here again!

This hotel states excellent protocols on their website. Unfortunately, the protocols are useless because they don’t enforce mask wearing. My son was scared to enter because there was a group of at least 15 teenagers and a few adults gathered at the entrance, most without masks, and people entering and gathered inside unmasked. When I asked one of the women at the desk about their policy, she said they are unable to enforce it. When I walked outside about an hour later to take my dog out, she was standing behind the desk without her own mask on and pulled it up when she saw me.

The desk was super helpful, warm, and kind. The room was AMAZING. A kitchen and HUGE bath tub.

We had the best help at the front desk last night. Our dog was given treats, we were allowed to upgrade our room for a minimal fee. Great continental breakfast. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful scenery, rooms are spacious and clean. Fire pit outside is warm, golf nearby, friendly staff. First time here, will be back soon.

Pleasantly surprised on our first time visiting the Lodge & Resort! Beautiful scenery and accommodations, extremely friendly and welcoming staff! Cozy & comfortable atmosphere! Look forward to coming back during the winter season!

The hotel staff was fantastic, Zannie was at the front desk and did a great job helping people get more cards for the hotel for that the braids maids and grooms men were able to get into there room without having to keep asking the groom and braid for their keys. The staff was great with people having to go in and out for the wedding. They made the wedding very pleasent.

Wonderfully clean, attentive staff and great amenities. I even got to bring my pet for a reasonable fee.

The Links is a fun place to play but they’ve just not reinvested in it much over the years so it’s losing its appeal. We made a 12:10 n 12:20 tee time thinking we’ll miss the 1pm crowd (discounted round) but when they couldn’t get us out because THEY ran out of carts and it was 12:50 before we teed it up we thought the professional thing to do was charge us the 1pm rate? I was told initially, “yeah we can do that”, (I know I’m cheap) and the group thought a $25 return was a professional gesture but then… they rescinded their offer! What?. And if we didn’t tee off at 12:50 they would move us to 2:30 (next available) it just took a bad situation n made it worse. View inside many of the holes is beautiful but as I said they’ve not kept up the course. Not an $80 play when u can hit the Inn for $100.

Phenomenal service, friendly staff, very organized and clean… the beds truly are like sleeping on a cloud… definitely a 5 star experience… thanks to the staff…!

Love the place in the summer. The golf course looks great and walking the loop trail around the course in the cool summer mornings is great. Finally, they have the best complimentary hot breakfast of any hotel.

Attentive staff at check in desk, fast service. Clean hotel rooms. Omlete Bar for breakfast, eggs made to order with fast chef. Large breakfast buffet for all guests of the hotel, 7 days a week, with lots of food, in beautiful lobby. Free Wi-Fi internet access in all hotel rooms, and it worked well for access to email for work. Beautiful views of nearby forest and mountains. Easy access to adjoining walking path (paved multiple use bike trail) around the Links at Sierra Vista golf course. Wild Elk heard lives on and near golf course and wild deer wonder around near trail. Easy access to the Ruidoso Convention Center which is next door to the hotel. Just walk across the parking lot to attend meetings after breakfast.

Called the night before and asked if they had an indoor pool. Front desk said they had a pool. Next day at check in we were told the pool wasn't open until next week. They surely knew this when we called and asked. Quickly checked out and went to LaQuinta, which has a heated indoor pool.

Best Way to Start Your Day ***** I just enjoyed a wonderful massage at the MCM ELEGANTE LODGE. The Massage Therapist, Patti, is so knowledgeable regarding the body and the connective tissues. She has taken me from immense joint pain this morning to "why did I wait so long to get relief"? Do yourself a favor and get an appointment with Patti.

Loved the resort, happy hour, breakfast was really good, customer service was great. My only complaint was the fireplace didn't work in the room, which we paid extra for. The phone also didnt work but that was as big of a deal to me.

Easy parking, homely lobby with a lounge in the evening with great bartenders and front desk agents. All of their rooms come with an amazing hot breakfast buffet. Indoor pool with salt water instead of chlorine for sensitive eyes and skin. A beautiful back patio with a fire pit and two gas grills. The room was very clean, with some of the comfiest beds I've ever been in. There's some common hotel issues. Some furniture might have some small scratches, our fireplace didn't work properly, and if you are on the 1st floor you might hear people if they're running down the 2nd floor halls. Overall though, I really enjoyed my stay at the MCM Elegante. I believe this hotel is best suited for someone that isn't coming for the Casinos. Very comfortable and a nice lobby for family time.

The check in was great anything I needed they had and I received it within minutes. My stay could not have been any better. You can not go wrong by staying at MCM Elegante… THanks for an amazing stay!

We loved our stay at this resort. The rooms are clean and spacious. Our only issue trying to get sleep while the people above us stomped around. After we notified the front desk, we were moved to a better room.

Loved it! Everything there was so nice to the room's, the linen on the beds, the lobby the people working there, the room views and even the bathroom was nice. They had a mini Kitchen in the room with a microwave and a fridge. The breakfast in the morning was really good as well. Thank you Elegante so much for a great hotel. We'll definitely be staying down there again.

Everybody was very nice and helpful. The light parade after party was fun. Enjoyed seeing Santa. The room was nice and comfortable. The bed was big and comfy. Enjoyed the private balcony, fireplace, and Jacuzzi tub. It was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was good everyday. I really enjoy this place.

Kind of impressed, really nice place to stay. Was here for a week for training and had a good time. Nice large rooms at a reasonable price. Tubs with jets and them, full kitchen, little porches where you can look out and see the wildlife. The food in the morning is pretty good and the staff is attentive.

I love this place. We come once a year for golfing, and the course is gorgeous! The room we had this year was excellent. Can't really ask for a better small-cay. Only 2 days, but very Lovely!

The rooms are amazing! So clean and we had a kitchen with a sink, a stove, a dishwasher, a full sized refrigerator, and dishes to use. The bathroom had an enormous jet tub for two and finally, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I am already planning my next stay here. They also have a full, delicious breakfast every morning. Loved my stay. I highly recommend.

The views are awesome and when you walk in, the atmosphere is that of a ski lodge — oversized leather chairs around a fireplace. Cozy and family friendly. Love the fireplace in our room! Full kitchen as well. Perfect location. Love everything about this resort!

Horrible experience. Room has dirt issues the first night. Housekeeping did not clean our room the next day even though we were out at 9:30am. Would not recommend this hotel ro anyone.

Nice hotel but a little dated. Recently acquired by MCM. In need of minor repairs. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious.

We stay here every time we visit Ruidoso and they have a vacancy. We're always pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms and guest areas as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The included breakfast is a great start to the day, and the large spa and swimming pool are excellent after a day on the slopes.

This is by far our favorite place to stay in Ruidoso. The included hot breakfast has everything from biscuits and gravy to a made-to-order omelette bar. The indoor pool area is spacious and the hot tub is large enough for several people to fit comfortably. It's convenient to get to restaurants and shopping. The beds are really comfortable, the rooms and common areas are clean and well decorated, and the staff has always been very friendly and responsive. It's called MCM Elegante now, but the service and amenities haven't changed a bit.

I went for a simple massage. It was amazing. She was very professional and taught me as she went.

It was a little hard to find but once we found it it was great. Nice scenery, very friendly staff, and clean rooms. Loved the room fireplace and kids enjoyed the heated pool. We will definitely be coming back.

I first stayed here earlier this year with my family visiting from Denver and we were very impressed with the place. Absolutely beautiful lobby, bar area and gorgeous golf course. They were pet friendly which is a huge plus for us and the room was immaculate. Since then I have traveled back through the area for business a couple times and I stayed here in a master suite which was top of the line everything. Huge flat screen TV with tons of viewing options, nice office desk and comfy chair. The bed was super comfortable too and I didn't even want to leave. I'll certainly go back to enjoy all that the Ruidoso area has to offer and k wouldn't stay anywhere else. Truly a hidden gem of the Southwest. Cheers!

Every pleasant stay with great Breakfast.

Hotel is dated and in need of repair and routine maintenance. Not very clean. Appliances not working properly or at all. Beds very hard. View is nice and breakfast is pretty good. Expensive for what you get. Staff dressed very casually and not very professional. Waited in line 30 min to check in and hotel 90% vacant.

We stayed here on a ski trip in Jan 2013 with our kids. Overall it was an excellent experience. The free breakfast was GREAT — everything you would want, pancakes, eggs, omlets. The indoor pool is a nice feature — the lighting could be a little brighter. The rooms are nice, not luxurious, a little small and starting to show their age. They have the old tube TVs and they are pretty small. Overall this place met my expectatios and was a good value for the price. We would come back again.

Dissapointed by a lot of small details that began to add up. A lot of trash and junk piled up behind the front desk. Dry wall crumbling, tissues stuffed sloppily in their box. Breakfast was a fight to get to a buffet line cramped into a very small space. Not enough tables to accommodate guests. A roll of paper towers just lying on the counter instead of a proper napkin dispenser. A lot of plastic spoons piled on top of the real spoons. Lipstick left on the cxoffee cup. Moldy ice cream left in the room refridgerator. Just not worth the price. Management clearly lacks attention to detail.

Didn't read the reviews; however, I am really surprised at all the negative ones. First night here and this place is amazing. I would seriously recommend it to others that are looking for a place to get away and relax for a few days. Granted; we don't ski; but the views from up here are beautiful and the lodge itself is a great mixture of rustic and modern amenities in a very well balanced and comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again in the future. This would be a great place for a wedding or anniversary. Will update my review once my stay is over; but I am sure it will just be more positive. Here is to bringing in the New Year in the mountains. Happy New Year, all.

We definitely recommend this Hotel. It is real close to all the activities and the kitchen staff is great. You can actually get a full breakfast. The only reason I don't give it a higher star is because one out four days our room didn't get cleaned right.

I had a bad feeling about this place after reading the reviews, but my husband and I had a wonderful time here. The rooms are great, the breakfast is great and the service is great! It's close by to anything you would want to do in Ruidoso. Our room was clean, included all the necessities and more. They even have a nice firepit going at night if you want to sit outside and enjoy the fresh Ruidoso air. We will definitely be staying here again.

I was hesitant to stay (based on the reviews by Google users) but the hotel was great, I had the King Suite room and a beautiful view of a park, the room had a fireplace, a real couch and a full kitchen! All for less than other hotels. The staff was good, cheerful and they even found my car keys I couldn’t find. Breakfast was cooked by a real cook and was very good.
