Please don’t go to Holiday Inn & Suites Parsippany Fairfield the staff there was VERY RACIST AND RUDE to my family and also other guests experienced the same! Smh totally disgusted.!

There wasn’t a button for EXCELLENT customer service. There was a mistake with our reservation and the staff went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. This hotel is very clean… excellent staff!

Nice hotel and comfortable rooms.

It was okay… The room was a little dirty — stained bed cover and flower petals crammed down the drain in the whirlpool tub (kind of gross). Internet was difficult to connect to and took about an hour to get going. They use an outside contractor and the contractor was really rude and unhelpful. I also had to call the front desk three times to reach someone to find out I needed to call the contractor. The breakfast was really so-so. The powdered eggs tasted like they had been made hours before and just rewarmed and put out. They had run out of potatoes. We were there 45 minutes before the end of breakfast as well. There were signs posted everywhere not to take food out of the dining hall but then the breakfast attendant got a little nasty with people for not going over to a separate dining hall room instead of waiting for a cleared table. The same attendant kept telling people how she gets spoken to every day for her attitude and griped non-stop about how she was alone that morning and would probably be getting in trouble again. Not sure I would stay here again but overall I generally am very happy staying at Holiday Inns. Kind of a shame.

Check in was fast, easy, and pleasant. Breakfast had not only eggs, and cereal, but also fruit. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool which was very well kept and clean. The room was very nice! Microwave with a refrigerator! Maid came into the room by 11 and gave clean new towels, vacuumed, emptied the trash, gave us new toilet paper and made the bed. There is a cuban restaurant attached that was packed with people every night, but we didn't eat there. The front desk women smiled and were very nice. Definitely staying there again to visit family. You can also walk to Shoprite and a Wendy's in 5 minutes.

It's a nice hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. They have a real good breakfast.

Great Friendly Staff and Nice Place to Stay. Breakfast was great. Lots of Mmmmm options. They are in the process of renovating the rooms. We stayed in a recently remodeled room which was VERY nice. Thanks for a great stay. We'll definitely be back when we come thru again!

This hotel was HORRIBLE. The breakfast stuff was extremely rude. Every time I sat down to eat my food they would ask me to leave in a nasty tone because other people needed the table. But there was a lot of tables available. One of the breakfast stuff cussed at me and my friends. The bathroom in my room was disgusting. The toilet was hard to flush and you can see stains in the toilet from the full length mirror. The tub was also very dirty.

I usually go here because I regularly go to Cuba Mia for latin dancing. The music is usually good and the crowd is mature. I usually have a good time and people are friendly.

There is an over prices Cuban Resturant, but it's good. The rooms are typical Holiday Inn. They do have shuttle service available. If it's a wedding close by you can get shuttles back and forth for your guests.

The stay and accommodations were perfect. Nothing out of place. The banquet hall and staff there were very difficult to work with throughout the whole planning process as well as during the event itself. Turning on lights, overstepping boundaries, walking through tables like it was their party… very unprofessional and embarrassing. Will not be going back again for a social event. I'll gladly stay and just take the free breakfast than deal with any of that again.

You get for what you pay considering the location aspect with the cheap stay. Rooms are ok. The carpets are stained and everything looks dated. You may find noisy or crazy folks staying in the hotel. I couldn't sleep one night due to someone playing loud music on their TV. I gave 3 stars coz I was scared initially that I would find bed bugs but luckily I was safe. Stay was simple and had no problems otherwise.

Nothing fancy, but The rooms are newly renovated and clean. I really liked that there is a cute Cuban restaurant attached, where you can grab a bite and drinks. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here a few times last year. My daughter plays softball for local college. This place is clean quiet and near my daughters school. But when I am making multiple bookings, the finances becomes an issue. Last year the breakfast was complimentary, now it is not. When your on a budget, one must look for complimentary breakfast. I would have loved to continue my business with this establishment, but for one dollar more but free breakfast… I am sorry, but I will be booking elsewhere.

Old infrastructure (like. Microwave, tv, etc) I am not feeling great and room service is poor for everything I need to go reception for water, creamer/suger etc they gave me loose suger in cup, paper cup is not available. They are renovating some part and making excuses of it. There is some mismatch in billing to I spoke to them and made correction. Also staff is not well trained in soft skills.

Serious renovation goimg on. Noisy, dusty and no elevator all week. Drilling and noise lasted till after 6pm and starts as early as 7am. Not a single courtesy incentive for all inconvenience during a two weeks stay.

Typical holiday inn although the entire hotel is undergoing a remodel. Friendly staff, good location off 46 and 80 and near 287. Close to a bunch of restaurants, LA Fitness.

Off the highway. A lot of eating options in the area. Cuban bistro on site. Clean rooms. Great experience.

Room very nice and clean and quiet. Exercise equipment in fitness room needs updating — old, broken machines. First hotel I've ever stayed at that doesn't offer coffee in the lobby. Front desk person a bit rude-seemed to be a problem of miscommunication with the people we booked our room with and the person at check in. We had a gift certificate for a free night's stay, worth about $99, average room rate. If we wanted a room with a jacuzzi and we were paying on our own it would be $15 more-the company wanted to change us $70 more!

Front desk staff are not pleasant. Room was just okay, but false advertising, "every room has a kitchen" is not true. Plus their seems to be poor communication at the staff level as information given to one person is not followed through. Can't recommend based on my experience.

Very nice hotel for the price! Clean rooms, nicely decorated and comfortable beds. The staff were really nice as well.

They have some great authentic Cuban food. Most any native Cuban food is really good. My recommendation would be anything that isn't considered a 'Spanish' dish, such as paella. Beware that it turns into a, very loud, Latin nightclub starting at 10pm, so unless you're looking for that, don't go there for a late night meal.

Parking was easy, overall nice place. Only complaint was the food. Could just be my fault for ordering the wrong thing but food was greasy and water tasted really bad, no idea how thats possible bit it was.

Great service at this hotel! Quiet and comfortable. Front desk staff is tops. Restaurant and bar are very good. Great place for business stays.

Could not get no sleep as mattress was like one you'd find in a homeless shelter. Both beds were worn out and tired. I do not expect this in a $200 a night hotel. I complained, got a $50 discount but cancelled my next 3 night stays. Breakfast however, was very good. I would not stay here again even if they do have plans to replace all the mattresses.

I was going to write a large review of my stay but will get right to the point of my displeasure. … I used the website Priceline for my best price in staying here 4 nights. I chose this hotel based on the reputation of Holiday Inn, the location to our relatives we are visiting, and the fact that this hotel serves breakfast every morning which was important to me. I was taken aback when I asked the attendant at the front desk "what time and where was breakfast served in the morning " and was asked what my room number was. After telling her my room number she stated I would have to pay an additional $10 if I wanted breakfast. I'm 53 and have never stayed in any hotel which served breakfast but was denied breakfast. If you you are going to serve breakfast and promote that amenity,,, then you allow it for every customer. Based on that experience alone,,, I will never give any Holiday Express my money again. This was the difference between a good review and bad review from this customer. Holiday Inn might recosnider this practice. If this adjustment is hidden in the fine print,, it should be removed.

Very nice atmosphere and Latin music all night.

Enjoy a very good night of sleep. The room was very clean, had pillows thick and thin, and the temperature was great. The staff was friendly. I found the price very reasonable.

The staff here was very cordial. The breakfast, although busy, was very good. Housekeeping took good care of the room. Overall, everything one should expect from a stay at a hotel. No complaints here.

The most I would give this hotel is 2 stars. The only thing I liked about it is my room. Overall, the staff in black uniforms were very rude to a four year old who had just finished eating their gross breakfast, and the woman said to her, "Give. " Are you kidding me? For breakfast I grabbed french toast and it was burnt it was hard as a rock! I had to eat cereal which did not fill me up. The pool is nice, but I wish they kept a good supply of towels out for the pool area as my family were without towels every time we went to the pool and we were cold. The rooms are nice but the staff is rude and the breakfast is horrible. So horrible that I recommend eating at a diner or somewhere else.

The hotel rooms are neat and clean. No issues to speak of, had fun at the pool which is big, and happy to find out has a 9 foot deep end. Hotel staff are helpful and kind. I didn't have the cleaning person clean my room. All in all the hotel is nice and what you'd expect of a hotel.

Currenty traveling down south needed to stop to rest. I was able to get a room the same night for a VERY affordable rate of 90$. The place is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Very good location, professional staff, comfortable rooms, all around solid and definitely recommended.

Walking into this hotel is like stepping back into the '70s. That's also probably the last time the place was clean. All carpets in the halls, banquet rooms and guest rooms were filthy. We stayed a total of 4 nights and every day was a challenge getting a complete set of towels. Either they don't have enough towels or staff to replace them as the rooms are cleaned. The last day it took FOUR trips to the front desk stating that we didn't have towels. Each time there was a half-hearted assurance it would be taken care of. The final trip was at 10 PM. We didn't finally get towels until about 10:30 PM! The breakfast buffet is about what one would expect when included in the room price. The bad part was they constantly ran out of items before bringing out more. The TV video looked as out of date as the carpets. All channels were grainier than old standard-definition analog even though the TV was a contemporary wide screen. To make matters worse, the TV's locked settings were incorrect. They were still set to stretch old 4x3 video to fit the 16x9 screen. All channels were already 16x9 so that forced them to be letterboxed. That reduced the effective resolution even more and made everything and everybody appear very short and wide. The bottom line is the only reason to patronize this hotel is if your sole criteria is someplace relatively cheap.

1. Staff and people generally rude. 2. Main lobby bathroom smells like a truck stop restroom. 3. Breakfast this morning was like eating in a Gestapo prison dining room. Had three women all in Black uniform lined up against the wall watching every one as if to make no one took food out of the dining room. 4. There was a large sign in the dining room warning you that no food hot/cool must leave the dining room. First time ever seeing that at a Holiday inn. 5. The elevators smelled like bug spray. 6. The toilet paper in our bathroom was very narrow & one play.

First, I would like to begin by saying that I have been to a number of Holiday inn Express hotels across the continental US. This by far would be my least favorite of them all. Also this is my first review, so I hope this shows how displeased I was. I would like to preface this all but saying that the hotel staff was very kind and friendly. Now for why I was dissatisfied with my stay… 1) Upon arriving at the room, I found a dirty plate and spoon waiting for me right in front of the door. It was lovely greeting. 2) At night, I woke up to use the restroom and happened to step on something that felt like the tail of a lizard on the side of the bed. After being terrified thinking there was a lizard in my room I ended up finding a number of items left at the end of the bed from the previous guest… one of them being a toy lizard… 3) The filter for the Air conditioning had clearly not been changed for I was sneezing and couldn't breathe at all. I had to sweat it out the first night before changing rooms the next morning. 4) Last but not least, I took a shower and had wiped my face with a towel to later see that the towels were stained with something that was fairly similar looking to blood.

Rebeca is the reason for the 5 star review. She fixed our reservation and made our check in and stay perfect. The hotel is clean, the rooms were good, and the entire staff was friendly.

Great stay… helpful front desk staff, breakfast good.

Our room did not have a microwave or mini refrigerator. We had to call the desk the 2nd day and ask for them. They brought them up to our room and explained that they do not have enough for the whole hotel and they were fully booked, so after someone checked out that morning they swapped their microwave and refrigerator to our room. We had leftovers the first night that we weren't able to keep due to this. Both mornings the complimentary breakfast was a mess! The first mornin…g I went downstairs and got a plate of food and couldn't find any silverware, I asked the woman who was running it for silverware and she said it is on the tables. All of the tables were full and the ones that weren't were dirty. She started telling people to sit in a different room which did have clean tables but not many of them had silverware. She wasn't very professional or friendly, she was yelling to the guests that were filling drinks that "once that water is gone I'm not refilling it! " The second morning I went downstairs and was disappointed to see that it was all of the same exact items on the menu as the previous day. I wanted to take my food back to my room and eat in quiet and privacy (it was just as busy and crowded as the day before) so I asked and was told that nothing can be taken back to the room other than coffee.

A decent holiday Inn that really shows its age. The staff is great and make the hotel.

The location is in an area that not much is going on. It's not completely dead bc that's a Plaza mall near by, there's plenty of places to eat. Service is good as they hooked me up with Wi-Fi and toothbrush and paste. Rooms are very clean and bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is big and room is big. It's nice!

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. I visit Parsippany often for work and have stayed at many other hotels in the area. I would stay here again.

Room was clean and in good order. Very quick check in and out. Attached restaurant is slightly pricey. Front desk staff could be slightly more personable.

Visiting locally for job training. Location is only 5 minutes away so it's perfect for me. Reception was great, very friendly. Room was very clean. Would stay here again.

Shower didn't work but they got me a different room right away. Breakfast in the morning is a regular hotel breakfast. Nothing insane. Everyone is kind and I'm a happy customer.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn for the weekend for an event held in one of the conferences rooms. My observations:
— An unexplained odor (sewage like smell) in the conference room and throughout parts of the hotel. Odor was present all weekend. Air freshener that was sprayed by maintenance did not solve the problem.
— Food crumbs and empty bag left in elevator.
— Rugs were dirty.
— Tomato slices in the parking lot.
— Stepped on bakery goods outside one of the exit doors.
— Rude and unprofessional breakfast waitress who handled silverware by the tills of the fork and was annoyed when asked to provide new silverware.
— Glass wall in the breakfast buffet room, where food was set up, was dirty.
— Rude and unprofessional housekeeper. While trying to defend why she left pillows on the floor and on the AC unit to two other housekeepers, she pointed in my face saying I asked for the extra pillows. When I said I had not and that regardless pillows shouldn't be left on the floor by housekeeping, she argued with me saying I did ask for the extra pillows. No fresh towels were replenished by the same employee until requested.
— Screaming children running on the second floor at 2:45 AM which woke up my roommate.
— Though the restaurant PURE is not owned by the Holiday Inn, they have the bartenders taking drink orders, mixing, taking appetizer orders at tables away from the bar during Happy Hour on a Friday night.

Awful experience in this hotel. For starters, shady types of women hanging around the property seemingly living out of their cars. Second, our group rented the the ballroom which we were using for a weekend event — the room/rug had a FOUL odor which the hotel staff could not explain or fix. Housekeeping left our made up pillows on floor and on AC unit. When we requested fresh pillow cases, two of the staff very helpfull but a third woman who showed up argued about the pillows. You don't argue with the clients/ customers … you put fresh pillowcases on and call it a day. Final straw was the attitiude from the very NASTY woman with no idea how to handlle cutlery in complimentary breakfast room. When I asked her not to handle my fork by the tines becuase I didn't want to eat from where she just handled the fork — I was fed a nasty chilling look — my poiont which she should know I this business — you don't handle the fork with your bare hands from where people eat from — hospitiatlity 101. She then proceeded to clean the table behind me and slam all the dishes into the tub very purposefully. Very rude and unprofessional person (and not the only one) they have working there.

I had a nightmare experience with this place, I booked the hotel via Hotwire for three nights. First night in the room we encountered bed bugs when we approached reception and asked them to change the hotel or check us out. They refused and changed the room instead and gave us detergent to wash our clothes. We didn't have a choice as we paid in full via Hotwire. The new room assigned had bed bug too and the room was change again and at that point (in the morning) the General Manager finally shows up and refuse to acknowledge first but than offer to quarantine our clothes, upon our insistence, to ensure we don't take any bugs with us and at no point he told us that he will charge us. The next day at check out the same GM mocked us and laughed at us and slapped us with a Laundary bill of US$ 1850 and when we refused, as his hotel infested our clothes, he mocked us again and told us that he will charge my credit card and I can't do anything about it. He scammed us as he had our card number for the incidental cost. Holiday Inn did not want to pick up the cost because that will be construed as acknowledgement that they had bed bugs. So we are penalised by this place to dare to raise a concern of their place having bed bugs. We complained to Holiday Inn Corporate and they said it is a franchise and they can't do any thing. I will never stay at any Holiday Inn anymore and will encourage all whom I know to be careful.
