Review of Crystal Inn - Neptune 2*

The first time I came here in February, we liked the room (216), but the sleeper sofa was busted. Fast forward to July 21, same room. Same broken sleeper sofa. I discussed with the woman at the front desk about getting a discount for not getting what she paid for. She said she would call the manager. Can't get a hold of him. I told her I had stuff to do and we would talk later. Their breakfast is not worth it. Grab a coffee and get some real food. Overall this place sucks. Update: we stayed in the room anyway because they said they had a couple of cots and they had a repairman/manager on the way in the AM. The cots were busted up and rusty and thhe pad for them was almost worn through. The manager shows up and I pretty much had to tell him how to fix the couch and he ran out as soon as he was done to avoid talking about a discount. I call the front desk 5 minutes later and he's nowhere to be found. We spend the second night, the kids on a sort of repaired fold out couch. Next morning at check out I tell the front desk woman I want to discuss the aforementioned reduced rate. I simply asked for 1/3 off of one of the 2 nights because I only got 2/3 of what I paid for. She told me the manager decides but he won't be in that day and they would call me by 3 tomorrow. Next day (I'm home since last night at this point) no call, no contact. 3 rolls around and I call. Some guy at the front desk says to call between 9-13. So 3 days after coming home and nothing. I would rather have thumb screws turning while rats chewed my face off than stay at this dump again. You. Will. Be. Disappointed.
