I celebrated my wedding at the Sterling Ridge Resort and it was the best time of my life. The cabins are beautifully situated and luxurious, all while keeping the rustic feel of staying in a cabin in the woods. I would recommend the resort to anyone without reservation!

We have a 220 lb St. Bernard. TOUGH to find places where little pups like him are welcome. They welcomed him with open paws.

We live in Vermont very close to Sterling Ridge Resort but it is our home away from home. During covid it was really nice to be able to get away and we felt extremely safe. Everything was clean and Barb is such a wonderful host! We ALWAYS enjoy our time spent at Sterling Ridge Resort and will definitely return soon♥️♥️♥️

I stumbled across SRR while searching for the perfect staycation getaway. We travel with two dogs and they were welcomed. The pet friendly cabins are extremely clean. Super friendly staff, beautiful grounds and excellent trails. The cabins are semi close but it feels like you don’t have neighbors. We can’t wait to go back! Absolutely worth the money!

Loved it! Upgraded to the 2 bedroom to have the full kitchen. 100% worth it. Plenty of room. Extremely clean. And every kitchen utensil you could possibly need was available in unit. Beautiful cabin.

Sterling Ridge Resort was not only an accommodating place to vacation — their staff was kind and helpful in every regard — but also a beautiful place. From the cabins themselves, to walks around the pond in the morning, to the supplies available to us in our cabin, everything was taken care of for us. We cannot express the pleasure our stay brought us and we cannot wait to return in the future.

Every staff member that I met was pleasant and engaging. They had an amazing system set up for COVID-19. My cabin was clean and beautiful. The grounds were breathtaking. The town is small and cozy.

Beautiful place and peaceful. But sadly we suffered discrimination by one of the guest there. If you are Hispanic or black please don't come. I have been in the US for 12 years all my sisters are professionals and we work with Americans and never suffered discrimination. After what I live at this place I think I would need to have some sort of therapy. I still can understand what she did to us. Especially my daughter, nieces and nephews. It was the worst nightmare of my life feeling so different. We went to the pool with the kids and she said she was scared of our kids. As we were going to do something to the them. They left as soon as they saw us entering the pool so we didnt have a chance to proof them anything. They were just kids. In the morning as soon as she saw me she started saying things to her daughters. She told them"please dont look at them" I told my sister why is she doing that. And she scream because my 2 princess cant be around you guys. She call me stupid she said we didnt deserve to be there and even told me to go back to the jungle. Her husband put her middle finger to my mother. I guess they live in such a bubble they are not use to us Hispanics. I would never forget this traumatic experience. We all should be treated equally. This is just so sad.

Great place for gatherings/reunions. Friendly staff, clean, and close to mountain and outdoor activities.

Loved our family vacation to Vermont and especially enjoyed Sterling Ridge Resort! So close to the ski slopes, but there are hiking trails and fun at the resort right outside your cabin door! Great escape!

My husband and I stayed here this weekend for our first anniversary. It far surpassed our expectations. We are locals and wanted a weekend getaway and this was absolutely perfect. The cabins are absolutely gorgeous and cozy, the amenities are wonderful, and Kirstin (and Willow) were very friendly and welcoming. We will absolutely return next year and in years to come.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin (1 bdr cabin) was super cozy, the hot tub was amazing, and the views cannot be beat. Like many have said, it’s a little out of the way but so worth it. It’s a perfect getaway to disconnect & relax. Would definitely recommend and come back.

We had a great time at Wonderful accommodations and location. Onsite trails were perfect for a relaxing break from work and technology.

This is our third time here and is going to become an annual or bi-annual getaway for us. It is so peaceful and the staff here is amazing. The cabins are quaint and you have the option of cooking here or check out the local restaurants. Everyone is friendly and Willow the dog is so adorable. 5 stars every time.

The most beautiful venue for our friends wedding! We were lucky enough to stay the weekend in Cabin 6! Very clean and had the perfect amount of space for 4 adults. We would love to come back someday. A little piece of heaven only 30 minutes from our home.

Stayed at Sterling Ridge over the week of July 4th and really enjoyed it! The cabin was awesome, clean, and comfortable (even in the heat). Loved the view of the pond from the porch! The staff was very helpful and friendly throughout. Sterling Ridge allowed us to unplug a little, enjoy the Vermont outdoors, and relax. Would highly recommend it!

Had an AMAZING long weekend there for my 1st anniversary. WOW! The Field & Stream Dream Cabin is an absolutely awesome experience. It' set apart on the farthest cabin lot on the property with an amazing view of their private pond. We hopped into one of their available watercraft and paddled around for a fun relaxing time. Close enough to town, shopping & restaurants, but far enough to hear nothing but the sounds of nature. WE will be doing this again.

A peaceful retreat. Cabins very nicely appointed. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy access to area sites.
Our 2nd visit and we will return.

Stayed here this summer, for the first time, and absolutely loved it! My fiancé and his family have been coming here for a few years, and they love it too! Would definitely recommend Sterling Ridge to anybody looking for somewhere to go! And will definitely be staying here again!

I stayed at the Mansfield House with my entire bridal party the night prior and the night of my wedding which was only a few miles away It was a beautiful location. There was tons of space to hang out and it was great to have so many bathrooms to get ready and multiple kitchen's for preparing food. We also got to make use of the yard games and sit by the pool which was super relaxing post wedding. We had a great time and would definitely come back again.

I have stayed here twice within the last 3 years. A little out of the way but once you get here there is no need to go elsewhere if you wish. An hour northeast of Burlington in the great upper kingdom. Cabins have all the amenities you need. Different setups depending on the size of your group including solo travelers. A 4 season gem.

Currently here for a family reunion! Beautiful views, cabins are clean and spacious. Staff here is great! The pool and common area are great for the kids. We would recommend this place for our friends to come stay. Dogs are welcome, just wish there was a dog park on site for them to run and pm at!

Came out here for a wedding and stayed at this hotel. Met all, if not more of my expectations. Loved this place! Cabin was great. Staff very friendly and more than happy to help and direct us. Definitely recommended!

Wonderfully appointed private cabins in the middle of the woods. We had a fantastic time here relaxing. We enjoyed the nearby winery as well, tasting was great.

I have been to Sterling Ridge many times. Cabins are always clean and property well maintained. Great location next to Smuggs and amazing views of Mt. Mansfield.

Wonderful experience. So happy that dogs are allowed here. I cannot say how much I appreciated that I detected no fragrance in linens or cleaning products. The air was delightfully fresh inside and outside. Looking forward to my next visit.

Such a relaxing spot! Cabins are always clean and inviting. Have stayed here over 10 times in the 1and 2 bed cabins and keep coming back.

I love it! The bed/pillows were a little uncomfortable though. The pillows were half the size of a regular pillow and I had 3 firm ones and one super soft one, so sleeping was a bit restless, but other than that it was the perfect mini vacation!

Absolutely fantastic. Cabins are as described and as you see in the photos. Very personalized service. Nice amenities and assistance from the front desk/cabin. Loved the location, very close to Smugglers Notch for skiing. Lovely, lovely lovely. Would stay again.

Been here twice already. Took our aged Bernese Mountain Dog back in 2012 for one last deep snowfall. Would Log Cabin again, 7/7.

Awesome place to stay! Lots of trails to hike/snowshoe, the cabins are amazing inside, and the staff is very helpful. Only thing I would change is the location of the heater and stove. They're far enough away from the bedroom and bathroom to cause a temperature drop from the living room to the bedroom.

Great winter get away. Cabins are cozy and spotless. The grounds are beautiful, blanketed in snow. Close to skiing, snow mobiling, town. Loved our stay! So did our dogs.

I absolutely love Sterling Ridge Resort! Went for the first time with my boyfriend at 20 and already have been back twice. I've only been in winter and stayed in the one bedroom cabin with jacuzzi. Great romantic getaway for making fires and playing in the snow. Recommend snowmobiling at smugglers too!

My husband and I stayed in the 2 bedroom Cabin with our Dog & We absolutely loved It! We stayed for a week and it was perfect. The staff was extremely welcoming including the two 4 legged staff members (Max & Rocky ;) We made sure to bring little things for cooking and "camping" just in case, but we were pleasantly surprised that the cabin literally came with EVERYTHING you would need! They were even nice enough to leave a bucket of salt on our porch the morning that it snowed! Our view was amazing and we loved the cows out front! We went horse back riding, hiking, and to the Ben and Jerry's factory. We would have tried out the ziplinning if it were a little warmer. In other words, plenty of activities. And cute quaint resturants within driving distance. We will definitely be back! Thanks Sterling Ridge for a relaxing stay! :)

What a great experience! Studio cabin was fantastic and private with amazing views. Fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, etc. DVD player and movies you can check out. Relaxed and laid back atmosphere amid a bucolic setting.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Field and Stream Dream Cabin… he kept it a surprise for me. All I asked for was a wood burning fireplace and a hot tub… checking in after midnight (coming from NY) was effortless. They left us a road map and left all the lights on in the cabin. Thank you for that! When we rounded the corner and I saw that massive cabin… I was a kid in a candy store! They surpassed my expectations by far. I love the friendliness of the staff and let's not forget Max and Rocky (the property dogs) couldn't help but falling I love… The grill, the hot tub, the amenities superceded any place I've been to… They truly went above and beyond… Thank you from the bottom of my heart… you brought us closer than ever before! … Vermont we'll be back soon!

Awesome location, great cabin in the woods. Outdoor picnic tables at the cabins and along the many walking trails both on & off the property. Everyone has been extremely friendly and inviting. No daily housekeeping however, guest are welcome to exchange towels and collect additional toiletries as needed 24/7. We came for a special occasion but are looking forward to making this a yearly adventure.

The cabin we stayed in was very clean and neat, and the beds very comfortable. They say the Wi-Fi is only for email and not for video streaming but I had no issues streaming Netflix. The lake on site is neat and a short walk away from most cabins. And sometimes if you stay out at night, you'll see deer walking by. Great place, loved it.

Cabin 23 was so lovely. I love having the kitchenette and the feeling of that it is like being home, but with the relaxation of vacation. Interactions with stuff so far have been very friendly and it seems like it is a family run business where they really care about making it an enjoyable experience. We haven't even left yet and I'm already thinking about coming back!

Lovely grounds. Several hiking trails. Comfortable, well equipped one bedroom log cabin with full bath and whirlpool. Picnic table, outdoor BBQ Grill and stone campfire ring added to the ambiance.
The bedroom has AC, but the rest of the cabin doesn't. With full AC it might rate 5 Star review. Very friendly and helpful staff. Two scenic ponds for fishing and boating. Canoe, rowboat & kyak available. Clean pool adjacent to game room and laundry.
Close to town for light shopping and really good local eateries.
Brewster River Pub & Grill had a better than expected menu. Their IPA Brewery produces a crisp Amarillo beer. The Vermont Cheddar grilled cheese on sourdough bread was fantastic.
The "Family Table Restaurant" is casual but with an upscale menu. The crab stuffed mushroom appetizer was particularly scrumptious.
Both restaurants welcomed our well behaved Labradoodle!
We would definitely recommend Sterling Ridge Log Cabin Resort and the Cambridge-Jeffersonville community.

Great weekend getaway. The cabin is perfect. It has all of the amenities you would need, yet is still very rural and rustic. I wish I could stay here the whole week. The staff was very nice and informative. There's not much to do in Jeffersonville, but Stowe is only 30 minutes away. This place is perfect if you want a nice getaway in the mountains with easy access to hiking and kayaking.

My wife and I took advantage of the great summer rates for a nice getaway from the July heat in the Southern states. If I lived closer to VT, this would easily be a yearly destination. Very hospitable and laid back. We love Jeffersonville and the Sterling Ridge Resort!

Stayed for three nights at the Sterling Ridge Log Cabin Resort. It was amazing. The cabins are relatively basic but provides all the amenities you'd want for an outdoors getaway. I love that they are animal friendly, my dog came along for the fun. Hiked some of the trails on premises, played table tennis in their game room, booked up wome grub on the charcoal grill at the csbin, and borrowed some movies from their DVD collection. Made a great long weekend retreat. Can't wait to go back.

I actually delivered furniture there. The assume the grounds member accpetes the delivery very nice guy. We just got a snow storm the night before and was snowing on the day of the delivery. We were actually early and plowed and shoveled the spots before we made the delivery so we'd not trudge through the snow.

Spent our honeymoon here and it was exactly what we needed. Very relaxed area, love that they had a pool and the cabins are incredibly nice. Staff was always very friendly and the place is very dog friendly from what we could see. We hope to be back this winter and ski Jay peak or Smugglers notch while staying at Sterling Ridge.

The beds were comfortable, the cabin was beautifully prepared, the resort was more than "kid-friendly, " but welcoming to our large family, and I felt so at peace during a difficult time (we were in Vermont for a funeral). The views and trails were wonderful, and even the sheets smelled welcoming.

Off the beaten path but not so much so you can't get to a store or restaurant in 20 minutes or so. Rustic appearance but nicely appointed with modern conveniences, cabins are secluded without being isolated. Summer breezes, open windows and ceiling fans make for pleasantly comfortable accommodations in the temperate months while wood stoves heat a cozy cabin to oven-like temperatures if you aren't careful when a chill is in the air! The full bath included a jacuzzi tub (nicely cozy for two) as well as a shower with plenty of hot water. The bedroom was furnished with spacious bureaus and a comfortable bed. Porches with generously oversized chairs and benches provide relaxing sunset and stargazing opportunities. Bring your groceries, the cabinets and icebox are spacious. Do your shopping before sundown as late night shopping is an hour or more away. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. The office contains a modest, tidy video library as well as the expected mementos and a few choice necessities. Wood is available for $5, old papers for kindling and starter logs for the less camping oriented among us. (I wish I'd used mine sparingly, for kindling) There is a pool and jacuzzi just off the family room across from the office. A small library of books of all sorts, board games and a love seat parked before a small TV connected to a video game provide distraction for everyone preferring to remain indoors.

The perfect spot to get away from it all. Very peaceful and quite, secluded and beautiful. Just we needed for a long weekend away. And the best part was that we could take our dogs. We hope to be able to go back again. Loved it.

Very clean and cosy cabins, perfect for a short family getaway. Staff was very friendly and was able to help us out with any questions we had about the area. Very close to Smuglers Notch (10min drive). A little further from Stowe (50min drive), but definitely worth the drive.

My wife and I have been coming twice a year since we discovered this place. The cabins are homey and inviting. The staff is very nice and considerate. It's a 5 minute drive from town and also from Smugglers Notch ski resort. Also 10 minutes from Stowe if you want to explore the nice little shops nearby. Perfect place to stay for a ski get away if you want to stay somewhere quiet and romantic instead of on the crowded resort. They are pet friendly which is nice since we've recently rescued a dog. Lots of things to do around here in all the seasons too. We went horse back riding last fall at a nearby horse farm. And next time we come in the warmer months we might do the zip lining. Overall never been disappointed.
