If you're looking for a beautifully updated Victorian with the convenience of restaurants doors away this is the place for you. It was perfect for our night away.

It's a novelty to stay at an inn that is over 200 years old. Staff all very friendly and casual. Our room was lovely, the floors creaked as they should in a building that age. The bed, though, could be improved. My husband and I both had sore backs for a couple days after a two nights stay.

Broken Yolk has the best breakfast in town. Located around back on road to underhill.

A lovely inn. We got the room with a fireplace & Jacuzzi tub. Just wonderful. Our bed was a little slanted, but other than that, no complaints. Dinner & breakfast on premises made it so convenient.

First time to the Inn! What a beautiful and comfortable country Inn. All the vintage charm made it even better. Both restaurants attached were great. I would definitely recommend this Inn to everyone and can't wait to go back!

Very nice people that work there. Pam was really helpful to me when my car broke down and gave me a ride to the shop. Cozy inn and great location walking distance to all stores in town.

Smugglers Notch Inn took care of my boyfriend and I when our car broke down in Jeffersonville. We were not from around there, and knowing this, they gave us an extended checkout, helped us get a ride to the mechanic and allowed me to work remotely from their living room. Pam was the nicest, most understanding person! I feel if we ended up at a motel or chain hotel we wouldn't have gotten the same service. Thank you for taking care of us! The place is very well kept for its age, quaint, and clean. Will you get a large flat screen t. V. With hundreds of channels and a mini-bar in your room? No, but you will get a true feeling of Vermont with a comfortable and well-kept setting at an affordable price. It is a real experience.

Stayed one night on the way to smugglers notch ski resort. Nice and tidy and great price.

Great service but small rooms.

First time in Vermont. Pam was extremely helpful and sweet. Everything you need under one roof! Lodging, drinks, dinner and breakfast. Pat was also quick to respond to my emails. We can't wait to visit again!

Great little In. Front Desk guy was great. Room was good, even though it was 2 twins, slept great. Great water pressure in the shower and a great little breakfast at Another Broken Yolk.

No bed bugs a cozy place in the middle of town but not to far from everything.

First time visitor to Smugglers. Loved the resort although restaurants onsite were still closed when we arrived but one did open at the end of the week. Hospitality of Vermont was great! Hotel staff was great and very caring. We ate in local restaurants recommended by the staff and all were fantastic including the little local grocery where you can get just about anything. Had a fantastic week. We will return. Thank you Vermont.

Great little Hometown restaurant, staff is always friendly and eager to help, menu with wide-ranging.

We spent two nights here while we waited for our condo to open up at the resort. The innkeeper was very friendly and welcoming and the attached eateries were exactly what we needed. The Mix Cafe, especially, really hit the spot. We had several family members in different rooms, so we really appreciated the cozy living room downstairs where we could all congregate. Our room was perfect for our family of three: a king size bed and a twin. The rooms aren't fancy or new, but they have the necessaries. Another group in our party had a room further down the hall and said the heat didn't work so well. This is a very old building, so the floors creak and it's not exceptionally soundproofed. If you have trouble sleeping in that kind of environment, I'd recommend packing a little white noise machine and you'll be just fine.

This place is nice without being pretentious. You can get a beer and eat some fries at the bar or you can eat gourmet meals at nice tables with some great wine and friends. Great atmosphere and better bartenders. Definitely top 3 in the area.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! The owner Lisa is an amazingly kind hearted person and we are grateful for her accommodations. We stayed at the Inn for one night. We had unfortunately lost a loved one that lived in the area and at the last minute had to find a place to stay. The rates were reasonable, Lisa was a sweetheart and the food was amazing. A difficult time was made much less difficult because of the kindness and level of commitment the owners put in. We will stay there again for sure!

We booked a stay at Smuggler's Notch Inn because it seemed like the perfect location for our skiing trip. Smuggler's Notch Mountain offers superb skiing and is close to Stowe and Jays Peak where we visited as well. This little inn is located in the heart of it all. The staff here were so nice and welcoming, offering great advice on places to visit and the best routes to get to our destinations. Our room was clean, tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were so attentive to our needs. Asking us often if there was anything we needed and if we were satisfied. We will definitely be staying here again. The inn is so cute, quaint and historic. When I first thought about staying at an inn, this is what I pictured. This was our first time to Vermont and I know we will be regulars at the Smugglers Notch Inn on our future trips. There is also a bakery downstairs that offers the best breakfast we had during our entire stay in Vermont! Great quality! I'm so glad we stayed here.

It was ours best week of the year. Great room very large. The view was incredible. Services was well done thank.

The hot water heater broke. That's all I have to say. Stay at the resort! You will enjoy yourself more.

Deplorable, dysfunctional, and just awful. On paper this restaurant boasted great reviews, an appealing menu, and class at a high cost. However we reserved in advance a table for 12 for dinner, we had the upstairs to ourselves, the waitress seemed new or lost or just lacked any sense of usefulness. In short they completely botched every step of our experience and charged us top dollar for the worst meal I've ever tasted (tornado Mignon medallions), combined the 12 of us ordered across the board each person more or less getting something different. Sadly everyone ended up with food poisoning throwing up that night and the following morning. The waitress had no clue who ordered what, forgot our soups and salads and appetizers, the main courses were mostly all ruined, the hostess was rude and interrupted our meal several times, what we were looknig for was an upscale dinner what we ended up with was a miserable experience which lingered on into the following day ruining most people's day for skiing. I hate writing a bad review and usually don't bother, but this place needs to be shut down, avoid, seriously, for your own health.
