Very happy there is no drama about my German Shepard Gus! Clean, professional, love the gorgeous modem contemporary decor, laundry room, quiet, although everyone seems to have different schedules, lol! Guest don't mind me asking them to smoke elsewhere, and, staff don't give me a hard time when I ask them to help with this or that or take a fit on me for walking out without my key barefoot lol! Very kind and professional and the Restrauant Locanda is amazingly delicious!

Very friendly staff, clean room. Kids can swim, play volleyball, and relax.

I attended a business conference at the hotel. The meeting was scheduled for 7 PM, and I gave my meal order around 6:50 PM. The choices were pasta, beef burger, grilled chicken breast or caesar salad — not complicated dishes to prepare. I understand that the first individuals to order are the first to be served. However, when the food was finally served, it was brought out one plate at a time, with pauses in between each plate. There was no salt and pepper on the table until requested. People who ordered burgers had to ask for ketchup and mustard. One person asked for relish, and by the time it was brought to the table, he had finished his meal. Every burger was also charred black, regardless of how it was ordered. I still had not received my meal by 8:15, so I canceled the order. There was only one dedicated staff member taking care of the room — I question if he also was the cook! One other person stopped in a briefly a couple of times.

So looks nice but beds very uncomfortable. Room wasn't cleaned properly and the walls are so thin you can hear everything. Does have volleyball and pool outside which is nice but has mold.

Great place, beautiful outdoor pool, the beds are comfortable, very clean. Definitely would stay there again. Great location to get to Newport.

We stayed for two nights last weekend. Room was comfortable and clean, although bathroom was very small and did not have a working fan. Staff were friendly, pool nice, ten minutes to Narragansett. My only complaint was the “after service”. I may have left something behind. Called three times this week, and asked for a call back either way. Although staff were pleasant on the phone and agreed to look into it and get back to me that day, it never happened. Folks, you are in a service oriented business… this is very poor customer service. Doubt I will stay with you again.

I can't say enough about this hotel! The facility itself was very clean with modern decor. Cleanliness was impeccable! The staff was friendly and so very accommodating. After seeing the layout we saw a few rooms that were poolside with their own access to the outside. We inquired (after check-in) and Kathy the front desk clerk was able to move us to the room we wanted! The pool was spotless with very nice, comfortable seating! Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!

Horrible booking/customer service, was on phone, was told room accommodations were available, gave woman all info required, INCLUDING credit card & suddenly she says, “ I’m sorry, those rooms are no longer available”… Really? We have stayed at this location & many other Holiday Inns & I WILL NEVER stay at any Holiday Inn or any affiliation EVER in my life again. Lost a hard working, regular customer FOR LIFE. That’s how I roll… Does anyone have any integrity anymore? Does anyone stand behind what they say they will do for you… NOT HOLIDAY INN… goodbye, with that type of customer service, you will fail if you continue to treat good return customers in such manners… put a minus before that star… I would not posted it as it would not let me post without at least one star, but there get less than zero.

A very nice motel near the Pt. Judith ferry terminal, made for a quick, early start to make the first Block Island ferry, Breakfast, however, is a sit-down affair so there was no time to take advantage of it. Fortunately, Dunkin Donuts is close by.

Convenient lodging. Lots of slamming doors thru the night. Graduation weekend…

Clean, comfortable and with reasonable rates. Restaurant has some odd issues with keeping beer and liquor in stock. They were out of nearly all beer and wine and it was going to be a few days beforw they had more.

Laura is fantastic at customer service. Very accomodating, plesant demeanor and made sure no stone was left unturned. Thank you Laura I will be back when in the Narragansett, RI.

Good area but rooms were kind of small for the price that you pay.

It's always a pleasure to stay here when I am at the Schneider Electric training center. Breakfast is always cooked to order and good. Pleasant staff and housekeeping is what I am met with every stay.

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past few years. It is conveniently located close to URI. The rooms are spacious and always clean and comfortable. Staff is always friendly. Added bonus, my kids love the cookies available at the coffe station in the lobby.

Stopped in to the restaurant and ordered the salmon. Very good — hats off to the chef. I thought the bartender was very nice, but I thought she spent too much time in the back. There was only myself, and another customer (she left due to lack of service, but then returned — and then had great service). Two more customers arrived and also had to wait for service due to the missing bartender. Once she served them, she was gone again. Thankfully I paid with cash, as I did not want to wait for her to return. Nice person, and helpful, but with only 4 customers in the house; no one should have to wait for anything.

A nice hotel. Newly (ish) renovated. Looks more inviting than before. Free cookies at the front desk after 5pm. Would definitely come back again.

Completely unreasonable! Made an innocent online mistake with a date and were told we couldn't cancel to get money back. Then told the rate would double for the night we actually meant to book. Waited for ten minutes on hold until the "hotel manager" decided to "give us our money back". So unprofessional and ridiculous, especially since we are rewards members and it is a slow time of the year. I'm so disappointed that I will NEVER give my business to this establishment, again. SHAME on your entire staff! And, I will be sure everyone I know hears about this. Disgusting!

Cannot say enough about the staff and especially Susan. Wedding was washed out and they provided the location to hold it indoors. Really turn the day around and simply amazing.

Quiet room, friendly staff, good restaurant and bar. Comfortable beds. Nice wooded area in rear of hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Fine hotel. Not my favorite, but will stay here often for work. Recommend for 1 or 2 nights max.

Front desk folks were very accommodating and extremely friendly! we ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and it was GREAT! Burgers are Tasty! the waitress from South America was charming and very professional. I am a Marriott person and experiences like this will make me consider Holiday Inns more often when traveling for work!

It was your standard Holiday Inn. Clean and comfortable, but there wasn't a continental breakfast, which at those prices, would have been nice.

The Holiday Inn in S. Kingston was very nice, clean and accommodating. Rooms are a good size. Mattresses and pillows are plush & comfy. Bathroom was only large enough to open the door but the tub is a good size with good water pressure. There are no ocean views from any level as some guests seem to expect (but it isn't advertised). Nice outdoor pool. We found the on site breakfast (which isn't included) only adequate for the expense, so we ate elsewhere the following day. There is a nice bar attached to the restaurant/event room so the destination is good for scheduling business and social events. Overall the hotel met my expectations very nicely!

The staff at this Holiday Inn goes above and beyond in performance and attentiveness! Lori, Linda and Brandon are shining examples of what hospitality industry professionals should look like! This location is convenient to local attractions & easy to negotiate traffic. The building itself is a little dated and the furnishings somewhat tired but it's clean and well maintained.

The staff at the front desk are super friendly and helpful. The room is updated and clean. The area is nice and safe. The thing that is holding me back from saying this is excellent is the pool. The pool area is clean, but the water is not clear.

Really enjoyed my stay-cation here. The staff were very friendly and perky. They found a restaurant nearby that worked out very well. As a Spire member they took the liberty of upgrading me to a ground floor unit with slider pool side. The king room was perfect for a single night stay. The property is in very good shape. They brought me Fiji water. Plenty of parking.

Bar was nice. Lobby was nice. Provided complimentary chocolates.

For a Holiday Inn, this hotel is in pretty rough shape. Not a terrible place by any stretch is the imagination but far from what I was expecting.

My daughters attended a pool party hosted by a long term stay guest of th hotel. The host had only good things to say about the hotel and facilities. Kids had a vlast!

The refurbishment was very well done. The meeting room is nicely updated. Staff is very cordial. The entrance looks 100% better. They really treat the Rotarians well at their weekly meeting. Parking is plentiful and the kitchen does an excellent job.

Very nice hotel and very nice staff. Easy walking distance to some fast food as well as on-site restaurant. Across a busy road from a wooden fire tower which you can climb to see great views. Convenient drive to beaches and the university of Rhode island. Nice outdoor pool (seasonal). Nice large room for a small expo or meeting.

We have stayed here many times over the last two years. The new renovations are beautiful! The rooms and accommodations are perfect. The staff is phenomenal… they always seem to be ready to help. And we personally love that they remember us when we return, it's so welcoming!

Backwards Hotel. The front doors don't open til you hit your face on them. The elevator is on the opposite side of the building from the lobby. The fire stairwell doors block a hallway when open. The bathroom doors almost touch the toilet. But! The friendly staff and in-house bar/restaurant are pretty nice, and everything is clean!

Service was great, location was good just on the outskirts of town but the room size and amenities compared to other similar hotels was poor.

Other than the lobby being under construction, it was lovely.

Mostly brand new, all rooms are new. Great breakfast especially omelettes. Pricey though especially dinners, but great also.

Friendly and informative staff. Room was adequate for our stay with the exception of no microwave or frig.

My mother is 87 and stays at the Holiday Inn often when she is in town for appointments. The staff has been more than accommodating to make sure she has a room close to the lobby so she doesn't have to walk far. The room is clean, the housekeepers and desk clerks friendly. The restaurant staff is excellent and the food is delicious. During off-season times my mother is able to get the discount given to travelers from Block Island, where she lives. I don't dispute that others have had less-than-favourable experiences; however this has definitely not been the case with us. I would recommend this motel to others without hesitation.

The room had a curtain with rips in it. Pretty much not clean. The WORST part is the price gauging. My daughter goes to URI and they double the prices for family weekend which is a shitty thing to do to families. The last time I stayed, there was an employees car that was vandalized right in front of me. Very scary. Oh, no breakfast either.

Do yourself a favor and AVOID this hotel! — — The front desk staff was very rude and unhelpful. The room had bugs in it. The lamp in our room was broken and there were shards of glass protruding from it. There were these weird pieces of tissue paper sticking out of the peep holes. The hotel was dirty. After being there for about an hour, we realized we needed to leave. I wasn't even offered a full refund of my money and the manager avoided my phone calls and the phone calls from expedia.
