The innkeepers are super nice and accommodating. Beds are comfortable. Everything is clean. Love breakfast! A very quaint NE Inn.

Beautiful and historic place. Tasty breakfast with classy service. Wonderful hosts, which is the number one reason why I like this place.

Great breakfast. They’ll make it custom like GF, vegetarian, vegan, etc. Fresh & delish. Snacks in the evening like brownies tea coffee or soda. I’d give it 5 stars note the upstairs rooms have a tight staircase so if that’s an issues book a downstairs room. Ea room has its own shower and commode.

Wonderful colonial home and the hosts couldn’t be nicer.

The hosts, David and Trevin, were amazing and the inn is a beautiful setting. I wish I had taken a pic of the orange scones they served for breakfast. They were moist and flaky at the same time! The Inn is over 250 years old and is very well maintained. The hosts know the area and recommended a number of local restaurants. Five stars all the way.

David and his partner have found the perfect equation for a bed and breakfast. Friendly conversation, clean and comfortable accommodation, incredible history, generous service, and delicious breakfast! I can't say enough good things about this place. Please, if you're in the area, consider staying at this bed and breakfast!

What a wonderful find. David was the nicest innkeeper we have ever met. He asked about our dietary needs for breakfast when we arrived the afternoon prior. When he realized he didn't have any sugar free options for complementary soft drinks, he make a special trip to pick some up. Breakfast was amazing; quite a European flair. The room was very comfortable. We left the windows open to listen to the pond frogs across the street serenade us all night. Super relaxing.

Beautiful property and extremely accommodating hosts. Owners worked around our schedule and made sure all our dietary restrictions were covered. It was right off of Hwy 3, and not too far from Plymouth.

I had a great time staying at the Inn. David and Trevin were wonderful hosts. The orange cranberry scones for breakfast were amazing (not dry, but still crumbly). The house is great, very historic, with lots of character. My room was clean, not a speck of dirt. I will stay there again the next time we are in the area.

This was our first stay at the Col Spenser Inn, and our first impression was very positive. David Williams, one of the innkeepers was very accommodating of our arrival and departure time when we made the reservation, so we had a good feeling about our upcoming stay. This was reinforced when we were greeted as we pulled into the parking lot and were met by David. He gave us a short tour of the inn with his pride in its history and current amenities very evident. Take some time to read the various information displays around the house, and make sure you ask about the antique clock in the living room and the inlayed-wood art in the dining room. This is a 1760s circa inn with the charm of a historical house. It was obvious David takes his commitment to his customers seriously by having information available to enable guest to enjoy they stay. He is knowledgeable about the local area and has established relationship with the local restaurants so he can assist guest when needed. He was very helpful in recommending restaurants, even calling and making reservations for us during a very busy dinner hour. The inn is conveniently located, just minutes for I-93 so access to the area is quick and easy. Also there is plenty of top notch dining within the local area so you’ll have a variety of places to choose from. One pleasant surprise was the breakfast part of the ‘bed & breakfast’. The website mentioned breakfast and snacks were available but this did not do the food justice.

A very cozy B&B that transpired history. The breakfast is very tasty with excellent local coffee. Awesome selection of history in their library that you can read in front of the fireplace. And the most important thing is the dedicated host. God Bless You!

David and Trevin are very friendly and warm. Breakfast was delicious and great. Rooms are big and nice. Just like a touch of home while on vacation. Very close to hiking, skiing, and camping. If you are in the area close to Campton NH, this is a place you would like to stay. Will be back again!

THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! If you are visiting New Hampshire, you cannot have a more relaxing and enjoyable experience than staying at the beautiful and historic Colonel Spencer Inn. Centrally located in the White Mountains, you cannot have a more breathtaking location, for any season – spring, summer, fall, or winter! But in addition to the spectacular location, what really sets this Inn apart from others, are the amazingly kind and attentive caretakers, Dave and Trevin! You will never want to go to any other Inn, guaranteed! — Thanks Dave and Trevin – YOU ARE THE BEST! I only wish I could give you more than 5 stars………and the breakfasts are out of this world – you put Martha Stewart to shame!

David and Trevin are the best hosts one could ask for. The breakfast was delicious and they went above and beyond to accommodate my friend who is vegan. The room that I stayed in was also wonderful, and I got a better night sleep here than my own home! I definitely recommend staying here.

This was, by far, the best Bed and Breakfast experience I've had. This house is a gem! Beautifully decorated, and located within minutes of hiking and delicious dining options. Speaking of dining… the breakfast is to die for. We were lucky enough to enjoy herb-seasoned baked eggs with bacon crisp twists… (there's also veggie/vegan options). Yum! Great place to unwind for a weekend and enjoy the sights. We will be back soon!
