A lovely bar scene with good vibes.

This is our absolute favorite place! The service, drinks, food, and entertainment are all top notch. We just spent a week in the area and literally had dinner and drinks here every night. The owner Stu is great, and Mother Superior is awesome❤️❤️. We really can’t say enough.

We called on a while to find out about the music they have been having. We ended up buying ticket to the garden concert and were not disappointed! the place is absolutely gorgeous. The staff were all so friendly, happy and helpful. The food was excellent!

We have been going to the tavern for years! Last night was our first experience outside with live music snd dining. What a beautiful spot! Such great energy, food, music and staff! Will always be our favorite place to go in Jackson and surrounding area.

Fabulous staff very pleasant on a very busy and stressful night the entire staff was happy, friendly, quick and efficient. The food was delicious and great draft beers on tap.

We went for a family wedding back to the lodge our parents owned in the 70's and 80's. The inn was beautiful and so welcoming. The innkeeper and staff could not have been more helpful and gracious. The inn itself was much as we remembered, warm and cozy but updated. We had a blast and we will be back. I would give it 5 stars.

Charming little Inn. My daughter and I love staying here every summer when it is time to visit Story Land. We enjoy the yummy breakfast and the unique rooms. The owners are very friendly.

We went in for lunch, Christa was our server and she was fantastic… extremely knowledgeable, pointed us in the right direction. Food was great and so was she!

Food was very good, nice atmosphere. Waiter tried charging us double the menu price for our meals. Then he said he thought the price on menu was incorrect. Finally a woman stepped in and resolved the issue. No apology from the waiter. His service was adequate. Watch your bills!

I can not say enough good things about this place! Our stay here was AMAZING! Best hotel experience we've ever had. Sheila made us homemade breakfast every morning which was awesome! Our rooms were beautiful, super clean, and felt like a home away from home. The free afternoon wine and cheese was awesome after a long day hiking. Also the price for this place was extremely affordable. We loved it here and are already planning a trip for next year! Thanks Michelle and Sheila for making our stay so enjoyable!

Wonderful time this weekend. Our room was beautiful and very cozy. Service was the best we’ve ever had. Very welcoming and we even brought our dog who was equally welcome and treated as a guest. Food was great.

Really wonderful experience tonight at the tavern. Live music, great staff, and as an added bonus, the chef came out to discuss our kid’s allergy. Everyone seemed very eager to please! The baked haddock was awesome as was the cassoulet. Cathy was our server and she was great too. All around an awesome experience. Can’t wait to go back.

My favorite spot! Great pub with the best nachos on the planet. My husband would eat the buffalo chicken fingers every day. Live music very regularly, always welcomes the kids (and adults) to dance. In the warm months you MUST sit in the garden. Awesome spot. Rich history. **edit: order the goat cheese pillows! just wow!

One of the few places with a nice beer selection in the area. Bar room is dark and cozy. Waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. Gardens are beautiful and a perfect spot to post up for a drink and a snack. Menu is short, sweet, and well executed.

My husband and I were in the area for a brief stay to hike Mt. Washington and were looking for a place that was both affordable and close to the starting point of our climb. The Inn at Jackson easily met those requirements. It was very reasonably priced and a short 10-minute drive to Pinkham Notch. We spent two nights there and since our stay was on a couple weekdays, the Inn had very few other guests. Our stay was quiet and pleasant. The Inn itself was clean and the room was very tidy. The grounds were beautiful, parking was easy and the hostesses were so incredibly nice and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and we had plenty of choices for the meal as well as coffee, juices, milk, etc. When we first arrived, our hostess set out a bottle of wine for us to enjoy and we had access to a refrigerator for our own drinks. Before we left for our hike, our hostess made sure we had plenty of snacks for the climb and offered more in case we weren't prepared. Overall, our stay was a lovely experience and I would highly recommend The Inn at Jackson!

The stay at the inn at jackson was great. The house is a walk away from the downtown anybody can do in two minutes. We were here during the jackson duck race and the commons field was across the street. This is an adults only place and the rooms are quaint country style, but also rather clean. Our room had a fireplace and they supply 3 hour start-up logs. Stayed in room 3. They even did a happy hour snack with wine around 3 or 4 every day, which I have never had at any other bnb. Breakfast is high quality and we were able to bring our own sparkling wine for mamosas. The ladies that run this place (Shiela, Kim, Michelle) are very nice and accommodating. Strongly consider this inn for your stay in Jackson.

I could have put a note of six, I would have done it. The Wildcat Inn is really a great hotel for an affordable price.
Our room was composed of a small living room, the bedroom and the bathroom. Each room is beautifully decorated on the theme of golf. Old photos of golfers, all very pretty. The furniture is antique, very nice Bill, lamps, sofa, comode, Chair: everything is matched. This gives a lot of cachet instead. We see that everything is maintained with great care.
The tavern on the ground floor is an undeniable asset. The two evenings we were present took place a little animation. Rock band composed of "PAPIs" the first night, very nice, touching. Violin on the second night. A lot of locals come to drink a beer or eat a bite. It is a real pleasure to feel in place so full of life, so authentic. For beer lovers, the pressures are relatively good.
The owners greeted us very warmly. We see right away that they like to receive and share their "House" with visitors passing by. I think the same family has been holding the scene for many years.
For us, by far, the best hotel we have made in the USA. I highly recommend it.

Great for after a day on the slopes but just an average sandwich shop. More upscale items on the menu but this is not the place for any kind of finer dining. Bartenders are hit or miss. Courteous and friendly service but just don't expect too much from this simple local tavern. No food service between 4 and 5 pm.

Very nice bed and breakfast inn, very good breakfast every morning, can cross country ski out the back door. Nice fireplace in the common area. Some rooms have a fireplace in it.

Found the perfect place for our last night! The ptavern was packed because of open mic night. Bellied up to the bar for dinner. The two guys behind the bar are a great team, had us laughing the whole time! Food was excellent! Entertainment was great! We will be back next visit!

The staff was welcoming and friendly. Our room was quaint, clean, and comfortable. We slept well on the comfortable bed and enjoyed the large sitting chairs next to the gas fireplace for a little tv. The entertainment in the tavern was awesome and the food was delicious. It was nice to be able to head up to our room after listening to great music. We will definitely be back.

The Inn at Jackson is like going to a friends house and staying in their really nice, cozy guest room. My wife and I loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Cozy, clean and full of good energy. Bar and restaurant are cozy and comfortable. There is live music on weekends, and the staff is very accommodating. Highly recommend Wildcat inn if your staying in Jackson. Its country elegant without being stuffy.

The food at The Wildcat is great. We've had several meals here, even Thanksgiving one year. At our last visit I ordered the half sandwich and homemade soup of the day and it was wonderful. The Thanksgiving meal we had was delicious. The staff was so welcoming and the place is just so cozy that we absolutely loved our holiday here. My stars are for the atmosphere, though. We LOVE this place SO much. It's been a happy spot for us for several years now and we will always, always return.

Food was ok. I got chicken parm and the chicken was a little dry. Im coming from NY so I have high expectations for Italian food. On the othet hand the Salad was very good. I would come again and just try a diffderent meal.

I had a reservation for NYE. They took us early, which was nice, and our first round of drinks and order was taken fairly quick. However, our main dishes were never submitted to the kitchen and we waited close to an hour and a half for our meals. It took multiple times of asking to receive our second round of drinks and so on. We still were charged full price for everything. The food was good, but the wait was not.

Sometimes 5 star resorts shouldn’t get those 5 stars but at This Inn they are well deserved! Wonderfully well kept well laid out with with friendly staff in a great location overlooking town and the surrounding mountains. If you are going to visit this quaint little town stay at the Inn at Jackson and feel like you are at home while away.

Booked it last minute and it was exactly what we were looking for. Quaint cozy and relaxing. Great hospitality and welcoming environment almost like a B&B. Rooms are cozy like you're in someone's home and awesome gas fireplace. Amazing character. The restaurant was fantastic. We will be back.

We went to the Wildcat Inn for Thanksgiving dinner. The reservations were made in September so it was well planned in advance.
There were 14 if us, admittedly one additional person was added at the last day before. We were sat at a table that could only accomodate 10. One of our party was sat against the fire escape door, which I think is illegal. We were wedged between the fire exit, the wall and the kitchen door which was used constantly for the staff. It was obvious to all the staff that we were so crammed in, they kept apologizing, why would the dining room manager Sue do that? When the additional person was added she said it was going to be tight. It was already too tight with 13 people that could only fit 10
The same size table next to us only accomodated 7!
We go away each year because I cannot bear the thought of Thanksgiving at home without my son who I lost last year. My family travels from PA to be with us.
Thank you Wildcat Inn for making it even more unbearable and difficult for all of us. Too bad the almighty dollar took presidence over your guests.

If I could leave a negative 5 stars I would! manager was rude, staff is disorganized, and it was a horrible experience. Everyone in restaurant was pissed at the level of horrific service! will never be back!

My husband and I stopped in to the Tavern for a late afternoon beverage and appetizer. We chose to sit at the bar in the Tavern. Both bartenders totally ignored us. Serving those around us. They refused eye contact, emptied dish washers and did anything but serve us. We left after 20 minutes. Not impressed, would not recommend.

If you a re in the area, this place is where you should have lunch. Inside or outside. We plan to stay here next summer. The waitress (we think was the owner) was UNBELIEVABLY friendly and accommodating. She certainly knew her beer. The burgers were great.

We spent one night in this super cosy familiary hotel. The welcome was warm and the staff very helpful. Later we had dinner with Live-Musik. The Hotel has two dining-rooms and a bar. Had great meals, the service was very good. The Hotel is almost 100years old, which you can almost feel. Lots of old pictures and skiing-stuff on the walls. Fazit: I absolutely recommend this sweet hidden spot! We got some locals-infos from the staff. Will return if nearby again.

Huge rooms with huge bathrooms. Really comfortable beds. The breakfast was good but not the highest quality (served pancake syrup instead of maple syrup). Really helpful host.

It's really old, it's cozy, the food is decent and the prices are reasonable. Will definitely go back.

Amazing Stay in February of 2017.

We got there late. They left our key in an envelope with our name on it and the instructions to our room because it's a mansion from the 1900. Very calm. A bit far from north Conway where the action is but very close to the national park. Tasty breakfast. I recommend.

Lovely setting inside and out. Food presentation adds a twist no matter what you select. Breezy summer cocktails and wisps of Irish music in the tavern.

Great food and entertainment. Comfortable rooms, nice grounds and friendly staff. This is an older building, so it's quaint and interesting.

Perfect place for an over night stay, just stopping in for Lunch or Dinner or making it an all around weekend fun filled journey. They offer great food, great lodging, and local entertainment. Make this a definite stop for Jackson, NH.

The food was delicious and we loved dining in the casual atmosphere with friendly, attentive service. Loved the idea of 2 for special on Wednesday. A variety of choices including 2 seafood entrees. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Great location for all types of activities for our whole family. Very clean rooms after initial cleaning request. Service was OK. Hard to find people to get things done.

My fiancé and I just came back from staying at the Inn & Tavern yesterday. We had come up Friday and left Sunday. We had the BEST experience. This is the cutest place I've ever stayed in. Campy, rustic, cozy and CLEAN… all the good feels. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The outside grounds are beautiful. We were the only ones staying there this weekend and they still set up coffee & tea for us in the mornings. Unfortunately we weren't able to catch a meal there. We had a VERY busy schedule to keep to but we will next time! I can't speak for their service during their peak seasons but I'll find out soon enough. We are already planning our next trip back!

The room we had came with some issues. Some remodeling would help here. But it is reasonable, the people were nice, and breakfast was very good, and the parking is quite good. It is much smaller than most of the other places in town and so it is a more personable and intimate setting. The price seemed quite good. You can get right on the cross country ski trails from the parking area but you'll have to cross a couple roads to get over the main section of the area trails (which go on for miles). The place is an easy walk to several local eateries.

We always have a great experience at The Inn in every way. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are cozy, clean and comfy. To top it off, the breakfasts are always delicious and served with a smile. Can't wait for our next visit!

A great local place to go for a beer or something harder. The staff are friendly and the service is great. This is our favorite after dinner drink place when we visit Jackson every year.

Stayed at the Wildcat inn for 2 nights whilst in the white mountain area trekking. It's a nice authentic location with a cool bar and period features, only real issue was the air-condition which was just not man enough to bring the room temperature down overnight, making a very hot night trying to sleep. The bar was great and the staff very helpful, and the live music on Sunday night was great. All in all, a great place.

Room was clean and comfy. Atmosphere was great. Beer is overpriced. Did not try the food because of other bad reviews we read. Staff is friendly. Overall a good experience. May or may not be haunted.

We stayed at the Inn to spend a long weekend in the White Mountains. We did not eat there, all the people were friendly and we sat out back in the morning and nights when we got back from our day excursions which was beautiful. It's an older inn, but nice for the price.

Great stay. Absolutely the easiest check in and out I have ever seen. It was done on line. No hassle when we arrived. Nice clean room pleasant surroundings and great staff. Breakfast was perfect with several choices. Inn is within walking distance of the town.

I went here with a workgroup and we booked the entire Inn. It was a great couple of days.

I was recently enjoying an evening here with friends, when I witnessed a friend couple of mine receive very poor service. Have you ever waited patiently for service only to witness many people who arrive after you get attended to first? When they politely inquired, they were rebuffed by the owner. When they finally complained they were physically ejected by the owner. Running an establishment during holiday times can be very taxing on anyone. But if business owners treat their customers this way whenever they are stressed one wonders how long they will keep their customers. I, and several of my friends, will never give the owner another opportunity to treat us so poorly.

Food was good, but service was not. My wife and I were one of only a few parties there, yet they still messed up my drink order. And it took a while to get service. The people working there just seem rude. Won't be going back.

3:04 "Is your patio open, we have the dog and we want to eat". "Yes it is"… "Ok we are on our way". 3:22 "I called with the dog, we are here for an early dinner"… "Sorry kitchen doesn't opend until five"

If you're 75 and like dancing to the eagles this establishment is for you! I would say negative stars for the food but five stars for Al Shafren and the band! After about 12 beers on a empty stomach this place was awsome!

Great atmosphere, decent food but it was more expensive to order wine by the bottle than by the glass. Duckhorn Decoy was $54.00/bottle and it was $9.50/glass. We ordered a bottle then noticed this. They made us pay for the bottle because we had already ordered it. That's $16.00 difference! The manager never came to talk to us and the waitress didn't make any attempt to appease us. I even ordered another glass to give her the opportunity to take care of us (it should have been free). I've been in the business for 10 years and I've never given a waitress 15% but that's what she got. If you decide to go double check everything. Not that it'll get you anywhere : (

Stayed one night with another couple. The grounds, building and room was in great shape. Very comfortable in spite of a full house. Staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was fabulous! Definitely have to go back with more friends.
