This is just the most delightful place to dress up and enjoy an afternoon of fancy and whim. The staff is wonderful and the ambience is the best. Words can’t really express the scones, lemon curd and clotted cream so I won’t even try!

We went to the murder mystery at the inn and had the best experience ever. The food was wonderful. The atmosphere was comfortable. The hosts were amazing. We had a great evening!

We went for the Mad Hatter’s Par-Tea today and what a lovely experience we had! The tea and food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. We had two 3 year olds who have very little tea etiquette, and I never felt unwelcome or out of place like you might elsewhere. In fact, the hosts were very engaging with the girls. And the owner (white rabbit) was so awesome, he brought them special carrots “from his garden”, and pushed them on the swing as we said goodbye. Definitely a memory maker!

The service, the table setting and antique furnishings and then the amazing food AND huge assortment of tea! Granddaughters were wowed and an outstanding memory was made today! ❤

We had a wonderful afternoon tea with my daughter's friend and her mom. Our daughters are young being in 1st & 2nd grade and we fulfilled their tea party experience! The food was wonderful and what an amazing tea collection. I was a HUGE fan 9f the Chocolate Truffle, it was so good it didn't need any sugar or cream. The scones were amazing & the sandwiches delectable. The mushroom bisque was very good but needed a pinch of salt which was right at our table in cute antique flowered salt shaker. We loved that were we each able to get 2 small pots that you can easily share with a friend, perfect for sampling all the different flavors. We also bought some to take home and you can get any of the flavors you tried or want to try. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to give their daughter a wonderful tea party experience.

Sooo fun! My mom and I stayed here for a just a night away in Dover and I am so glad that we went with them instead of one of the hotels in town.
It was absolutely gorgeous and so much to look at! Conversation pieces galore! Our stay at the Silver Fountain Inn became the main attraction of our weekend. Thank you Pam and James for making stay so convenient and luxurious, and Also for the delicious scones on the way out! We have every intention of booking another stay in the future.

High tea was superb with all the different items on The Dutchess selection.

Great murder mystery diner with friends!

Small & intimate. Service was great not rushed was there for 2 hrs. Tea was so good I had six cups oof 5 different kind of teas.

12 ladies just had the loveliest lunch at the Inn. Wonderful, relaxed ambiance… DELICIOUS food selections and wonderful beverages choices. Everyone raved about the whole luncheon and now want to make this an annual event! I am in favor!

I will recommend the inn to everyone. It is a nice inn that looks so fancy and pretty. The room is not big but nicely decorated for theme. I picked the blue room (showed in pictures) with its own bathroom. Staffs are friendly and the free breakfast tastes delicious. 100% satisfied with my stay!

The owners are extremely nice and happy to help you with whatever you need. The rooms are small but cozy. The hotel has some amazing old decor and is littered in cool trinkets. The breakfast was good as well.

The teas, pastries, and sandwiches were all delicious. Owner was very nice and accommodating. Enjoyed the beautiful and antique atmosphere of the tea room and building.

Had afternoon tea which was delicious. I did take my ten year old granddaughter. Unfortunately I found the menu except for the sweet treats to not be child friendly.

The tea parlor at Silver Founrain Inn is a unique experience. Their location on a quiet residential street just outside downtown Dover is convenient and pleasant.

First time at a B&B and we loved it! Jim & Pam are so nice and we felt welcomed right from the minute we walked in. The house is beautiful and the decor is amazing. The murder mystery was a blast and I can’t wait to do it again. I’m really sad that we have to leave. But we will definitely be coming back! Thank you for a wonderful memorable time!

I was invited to a bridal shower and what a beautiful place The staff was great and so helpful and polite. I have allergies to some foods and they did a great job comadating me. They let us tour the rooms Very beautiful and stylish. Awesome flavors of tea and the scones we're amazing. I recommend people to go and check it out.

We went for a weekend murder mystery dinner and it was fantastic. The owners are wonderful, friendly and well prepared for the weekend festivities. Breakfasts and the dinner with the show was outstanding. We have been 3 years now and before leaving booked for next year. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Please stop in for a night or an afternoon tea if your in the area you wont be disappointed.

The food and service was great! There is a large selection of teas to choose from, however the portions of food could have been a bit more generous. Overall, it was a beautiful place with great food.

Elegant, owner very knowledgeable of the history of the Inn. The food is great, and the teas are excellent. The decor and collections of tea cups and pots are remarkable. The rooms are all equipped with private bathrooms, and extremely clean a period decorated. Excellent.

This B&B is amazing! We were greeted by Pam the Innkeeper. She was friendly showed us to our room and made sure we were happy with the accommodations. The bed was comfy you can adjust the heat quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent. The tea selection is extensive. I would highly recommend staying here and also dining at the tea parlor.

We stayed in the Boudoir. The room was gorgeuos. Pam was a great host. The charm of the bed-and-breakfast stay and chatting with other guests over breakfast was really nice.

I took my wife as a surprise and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The teas we great, the sandwiches wonderful and the scones, with Devonshire cream and lemon curd, second to none. We would highly recommend.

The inn is beautiful and cozy. It was decorated for Christmas when we visited which added to the overall charm. Pam is a wonderful host, very friendly and accommodating. She also makes a great breakfast! Each room has its own theme and they are all perfectly put together.

We enjoyed a fabulous birthday tea for my daughter-in-law yesterday. The scones were amazing as always! The Christmas decorations are lovely and the table settings just gorgeous and festive. Our server was fantastic and made our brunch when she brought our birthday girl petit fours with a candle in it! I can't thank you enough Silver Fountain for making our visit so special.

Silver Fountain Inn was a wonderful place for tea with my neice and sister, for my sister's birthday! Everything inside is just beautiful! The people that work there are friendly and helpful and everyone should try their scones with lemon curd and Devonshire cream! OUTSTANDING!

The building was lovely, and the owners clearly use the space to match. Unique and classic at once. Would be interested to go back and try some of the other non-overnight services and events.

Cute cute cute! I felt out of place because it's very fancy but hey that's my own fault for only ever wearing graphic tees. The food was delicious and scones! Holy scones! Never had one before, they have sweet ones for deserts and savory ones tgat I got with my summer salad (tasted exactly how you'd expect summer to taste, how did they do that? ) There was tons of vintage/Victorian decorations and this one old couch I sat on in the upstairs portion of the building. It had a lot of rooms? I wasnt sure what was IN any of them necessarily but it's cool to look around and explore! It was really pretty there, all of the cups and tea pots had flower designs and looked very aesthetically pleasing. Good place to go and feel like a Q U E E N, or a princess at the very least.

The Silver Fountain Inn is a beautiful old building within walking distance to busy downtown Dover. Nestled in a residential area, the addition of the tea toom makes this a quaint and quiet destination.

A beautiful, peaceful tea room serving absolutely delicious tea, melt in your mouth scones, crisp salads bursting with fresh, flavorful seasonal fixings and to die for sweets! I can't wait to sample next months offerings. Just superb!

Excellent experience. Went for my daughters birthday and fell in love with the food, character, atmosphere, even the prices were surprisingly good. We're looking for excuses to go back now.

If you are a fan of Victorian style, craftsmanship and culture this is an opportunity not to be missed. The silver fountain inn is authentic personable and charming. The house itself is a beautifully preserved period spectacle. From hand carved crown molding that is over a foot thick to the original bathroom fixtures and furniture, every aspect of the building is the real deal. You actually feel like you are part of the new world elite when you are here. The owners are as kind and welcoming the to you as they are dedicated to ensuring this inn's heritage is preserved. We stayed here for a wedding in town but are trying to think of other reasons to come back next year. Oddly, the silver fountain inn will probably be the highlight of our return visit.

In town from Alaska for a graduation at UNH. Stayed for two nights and had a great time. Room was very nice, clean and quiet. Breakfast served in Tea Room was a nice experience with great food. Walking distance to downtown Dover were there's a lot of great restaurants. Will definitely stay again on our next trip back to the east coast. Owners Jim and Pam live on site and were very accommodating.

My husband and I spent one night at the Silver Fountain Inn as part of our honeymoon week. We've stayed at the inn two previous times, but this was the first stay since Pam and Jim took over. We were not disappointed in the slightest. We were positively pampered with champagne, cookies and cocoa, and a wonderful breakfast in our room. Safe to say, we will return and, as always, we will request our "Rose" room.

My wife and I have traveled the States and several countries in Europe, and we've never felt more welcome and relaxed at a B&B than we did this past weekend with Pam and Jim at the Silver Fountain. From the moment we arrived in the parking lot, it felt more like we were staying with friends than at a business. I can't say enough about this place. Just wonderful. It would be a mistake for people to stay at a hotel when they can stay here.

This inn is typically charming with beautiful New England Victorian design in a like kind neighborhood. Our post Thanksgiving stay transitioned to a Christmas season decor. Pam makes a hearty breakfast with many menu options and will quickly share her knowledge of the area. We stayed in the ground floor master bedroom with a TV and private entrance which was very convenient. If there was any drawback it was climate control. It was either to hot or too cold. Also a little more time spent on grounds and building maintenance would make this B&B even more perfect. Keep an eye peeled for discounts on there website. They come and go! Make sure to ask.

Stayed there on a few difference occasions. Rooms and beautifully decorated and clean. Best value in New England.
