We love this place! Lovely, comfortable, great breakfast with special and gracious attention to my dietary restrictions, beautiful gardens, convenient to musems, restaurants, nature walks. And reasonably priced!

Mike and Chris did a fantastic job making us welcome and comfortable. The room was nice and the inn a great place to relax. Breakfast was nutritious and substantial. They even had a barn for our bikes. Great location, quiet, nice grounds, comfortable rooms, great breakfast.

The is a great location super quite. 10 min to Great Barrington (town center) by car. This B&B is a gem for a relax stay, great attention to detail.
Remember to try to cafe cross street (the mixed berry hot chocolate is the favorite)

This was our first time staying at a BnB. And I'm so glad we chose the Staveleigh House! The owners pay attention to every detail. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

We stayed at Staveleigh House B&B for our 2nd wedding anniversary 2017. They have 2 pet friendly rooms and we brought our dog for a 3-day weekend. They have a grassy fenced-in dog run which our girl loved. They are less than 10 minutes from the Racebrook Falls Hiking trail and 20-30 minutes from other great trails including Mt. Everett, Jug End, Campbell Falls, and Bash Bish Falls. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful and recommended a few good places for dinner. They also prepared for us the best breakfast (by far) we've ever had at a B&B! The dishes were more than just your basic omelette and pancakes: we enjoyed Nutella & fresh strawberry stuffed French toast, fresh fruit bowls, baked apples, frittatas, and fresh banana bread. Even the presentation was lovely. We would definitely recommend a stay to our friends and we would be happy to return.

Our stay at the Staveleigh House was truly memorable! Chris and Mike, the innkeepers, are friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the area, local attractions, and history of the surrounding area. The inn is meticulously clean and comfortable. We stayed in Room 7, which was quite spacious and has the added bonus of a fireplace. The bathroom had soap, shampoo, bathrobes, and plush towels. Breakfast was served in the dining room, which was cozy and bright, with fresh flowers on the table. Our meal started with coffee, juice of our choice, and a yummy baked apple; then we had a delicious country omelet with bits of potato, fresh vegetables, and ham, with fresh tomatoes on the side, as well as a homemade muffin. All the food was prepared by Chris and presented in a lovely, professional manner. The meal was more than a breakfast, it was a feast! The inn is situated in a small, friendly town, close to many attractions and things to do! We will definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Staveleigh House this past Christmas, 2016. The accommodations were comfortable and the atmosphere was welcoming. Chris and Mike are lovely people that genuinely want to make your stay as memorable as possible. The rooms were clean and well kept and the toiletries were always filled and they provide both cable and Wi-Fi. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast that started with a fresh pot of coffee, juice and a fresh fruit cup that had shaved coconut over the top. For the main course, Chris made us fluffy scrambled eggs over toasted sourdough with a goat cheese spread, garnished with Italian parsley. On the side were fresh kale and tomatoes. When we are in the area again and need a place to stay, we will definitely return to the Staveleigh House!

The B&B is well kept and quite charming. The hosts, Mike and Chris take great pride in running their establishment. They are attentive, personable and make you feel right at home. With farm fresh eggs, and fruit and vegetables from local markets; breakfast is a savory treat.

Chris and Mike are wonderful, helpful and pleasant. The B&B is impeccably clean. The flowers and birds and cats are all intriguing. The bed is the best! The location is perfect, away from all the hubbub yet a quick walk to a fantastic luncheon cafe. We enjoyed our 3 day get away at Staveleigh House and would make the trek from Maine again!

This was a lovely B&B. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts were very nice people and gave us really great suggestions for things to do and restaurants to eat in the area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful place, phenomenal food and wonderfully warm hosts. We were here over xmas and could relax and have our daughter play in the yard, and visit the animals (sheep, horse, dogs, chickens) in the barn, and even get a fresh egg!. We loved it and had friends with a dog come and join us.
