I have sent this message to the hotel twice and received no response — disputing the charge.
I stayed in Room 107 overnight on Monday, August 12th. Upon first inspection I found the room to be spacious and clean. We dropped our stuff off and quickly went out for the evening. Upon returning at 11PM, we went to shower and noticed clumps of hair in the bathtub which we had to remove in order to properly shower. To make matter worse we got into bed and the smell of the linens (on the pillows) was disgusting. We had to put t-shirts over them to diminish the smell enough to attempt to sleep. Upon getting into the bed, we immediately noticed that the mattress caving into the middle, but worse than that we had sand in our bed, and lots of it. We had to brush it off ourselves and go out to the car (at midnight) to get our own brand new beach towels and put them down on the bed to sleep. Needless to say it was a very unpleasant night's stay and we will not re returning or recommending your property. I am asking for a full refund of $174.86 to my Capitol One Visa Card. I have contact them as well about my request for a refund. This reservation was made on booking. Com and was confirmation number 3429389246. Please let me know as soon as possible.

It our first visit to the beach in us and my kids liked very much the room. I wished I have planned a long stay, it will be a wonderful experience. I surely be back to the hotel in my next visit to the Maine.

The owners take alot of pride in there customers, always trying to please and extremely kind. It was a great atmosphere to be in while on vacation. The owners were pleasant at all times and would accommodate your needs. I felt very secure at this hotel and the rooms were spotless. I plan to go back in September, the experience was GREAT! Quiet little place with a cozy feel. Very friendly staff and great prices.

We stayed here just after our wedding for a long weekend. It is very cute and clean. The bathroom was a bit small however but had a a big kitchenette.
We also were welcomed with a card and bottle of wine. Very sweet!

There is nothing about this Hotel I would not recommend! To start it's in a very convenient location, is spotless inside and out. Peter & Lisa do everything they can to make your stay a pleasant and memorable one. We especially enjoyed the outdoor BBQ area which Peter made sure we had everything we needed to use the grill. We can't wait to go back next year.

Always very clean. The mattresses are comfortable. The coffee pot was not working, and counter top lights were out, but pleasant stay.

Nice clean rooms. Pool was quite refreshing. Hospitality of the owners, Peter and Lisa, helped get a better feel for the Wells area. Thankful to share our time there.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this Hotel. The owners are amazing and their staff are great too. Room was super clean and spacious. I'm a stickler for bathrooms and the one in our room was exceptionally clean! In the room they leave a great recommendation folder of great places to visit and to eat! The Hotel is close to everything and everywhere we wanted to visit! We would give 10 STARS if we could.

Cute little place and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and have kitchenettes with gas stoves, utensils and cookware, microwaves and mini fridges. The staff also has good recommendations for tasty local restaurants. I really like this place.

We stayed here for the first time this past weekend. This is our ninth year of deep sea fishing and this is absolutely the best place we've stayed! Lisa & Peter are great, friendly people (the kind that should be in this business. ) The rooms are large, clean and have about everything you need for your stay. I can't wait to stay there again.

We don't get away from home too often, but we were more than comfortable with our stay. We felt very welcomed and at home. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the kitchenette area had a little bit of everything. What can I say that hasn't been said? We would highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable, quiet, welcoming, friendly place to crash. My only concern is the visibility from Route 1 is a little hard to find, but in the world of GPS's and technology, that is probably not a big deal.

Wonderful experience for a great value! Rooms were very comfy and quaint. Everything you would expect from 4 star lodging. All employees were extremely helpful going above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The owners were so friendly and you could tell that they really enjoy the business. If we ever go back to the Kennebunk area, there is no place I would rather stay.
