Very clean awesome staff its very relaxing lots of things to do near by.

I don't like to leave bad reviews on places — but this place scams people out of money and their staff is aggressive and rude. They did not clearly state covid policies on their website and will not refund you — even if you come down with covid upon cancellation (they refund with a gift card, not money) — At the time of my booking, none of this was clearly stated on their website. The staff was some of the worst I've ever interacted with. Go down the street to Ancorage by the Sea, their staff is kind, they are just as affordable and have better facilities and free cancellation. Don't let these people take your money, it's just bad business.

Everything was covid clean. Big room extra 4 person tub in our room. Nice area.

Recently visited this resort. The unit was nice and clean except for the floors. Our feet were filthy after walking on the floors and carpets for a short time. The water in the indoor pool looked filthy. I was very disappointed with the customer service and staff. The manager was not customer friendly and was
rude when talking to my daughter.

Awesome atmosphere. Pool is great! Staff always willing to go above and beyond, we loved Danielle. Kids had a great time getting freeze pops and popcorn poolside everyday. Kitchens equipped! Can't say enough about this place. We will stay here again!

My family has been coming here for the past five years. Highly recommend! Family friendly. Lots of activities. Great location. Staff is amazing! Indoor and outdoor pool. Movie, game, music nights on the lawn. Love it here!

Great place for families. Two pools both heated, one indoor and salt water. Our accommodations included a small kitchen, eating area for four and living room. 1 1/2 baths and a bedroom upstairs and downstairs. Each bedroom had its own tv. We enjoyed the outdoor movie with popcorn by the fire pit and the staff as well as other guest were friendly and welcoming. Great place, we’ll be staying here again.

Clean, quiet, 2 pools (indoor and outside, both heated), outdoor tables, fire pit, games, movies at night outside, as well as great asst of DVDs to rent, close to beach, restaurants, etc.

Fun for kids, outdoor and indoor pool, spacious and perfect location.

Fantastic find, what a pleasure to stay here. This place is clean with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Spacious and centrally located to shops and restaurants. Just a short drive or trolly to the beach. The staff is helpful and friendly. Great for families of all ages. Thank you Elmwood for the great family memories.

It's a nice experience being in Maine and being able to come back to your lodging and having a full equipped kitchen. With the outdoor barbecue, we were setup perfectly for a beach holiday. The staff at the Elmwood were always nice and ready to help. The other guests were decent folks and no one was rowdy. The kids enjoyed the 2 pools. The pools were well maintained and clean. Very comfortable.

Stayed here last summer. Excellent service. Our room was very nice and loved the indoor and outdoor pool. Cant wait to come back next year and would recommended this place to anyone.

Enjoyed our 3-night stay at Elmwood. Each of the rooms is individually furnished and it gives a special charm to the room. Ours was very well taken-care of, with everything we needed in the kitchen and cozy decorative touches around the living space. The common spaces include two pools, a playground and an outdoor area with yard games and nightly movies, and there was even live music one night. Located close to a good number of restaurants, grocery, drug stores, and just a short drive from the coast and beaches. Loved our stay. Thanks for having us.

BEST HOTEL EVER! Ignore price, they got features that are superb. They have an outdoor movie with a fireplace and connect 4. We were expecting a standard hotel-motel, but was AMAZING! Our room was suppose to have a king bed and queen sofa bed, but we also get another mini-er sofa, rocking chair, and a recliner with a FULL kitchen. We got, for free for the hotel room, a puzzle, 2 card decks, tic-tac-toe, and MANY other cool features. There are also separate indoor and outdoor pools. Come.

Clean, quiet, well-appointed and reasonable. Softest white towels I have ever seen. Watch the speed bump on the way in though — it's a killer!

The staff is so friendly and helpful. The units are well maintained and each one has personal touches. This is definitely a step above most other accommodations in the area and we wouldn't stay anywhere else now that we have stayed at the Elmwood.

Stayed here for a Week in Summer of '18. Absolutely Phenomenal place for the Money. Got an actual Apartment like Suite, with a full kitchen and everything. Two Pools here, one Indoors & one Outdoors, Excellent Wi-Fi. My only gripe was the lack of (Higher Tier) Cable TV Channels. But no big deal, if you've got a Netflix/Amazon/Hulu account, and the knowhow to connect to a NonSmartTV… I am definitely gonna go back again, next year…

Very nice establishment I recommend.

The resort is small as are the rooms. However the rooms were comfortable, the staff was great, and the location ideal for exploring Wells.

Stay Away. Service is better at a cheap motel. HD to sleep on the floor for two days until they fixed the bed. Better places around with nicer rooms and service. Better rates. Research them. I wish I had. This place is Aweful.

This place is one of my favorite places to go now! I stayed in the two bedroom suite and it was huge! The lady at the front desk was super nice and made us feel at home☺

My parents have been staying here for years. My wife and I decided to book a room here on our weekend trip to Maine. Greatly enjoyed our stay. Our room was more like an apartment rather than a hotel room. Right on Route 1, easy access to all the coastal Maine attractions.

Elmwood has the kindest staff, the best rooms, amazing specials, an awesome pool and by far the best place to stay within atleast 30 miles! My son and I are repeat customers and it feels like home.

Friendly staff, beautiful rooms, and an overall great experience every time we are here. Also conveniently located near the beach, shopping areas, and great restaurants.

Just a beautiful motel. Rooms are well-kept and clean. Felt like being home for an evening. Would definitely stop back. We were here during the off-season so the rates were about half but would definitely be worth full rate during peak. If we were to stay in this area again I would definitely stay here.

Beautiful place, friendly service, well managed, well kept, clean. Indoor and outdoor pool. Sauna Love staying here. Beds are a little uncomfortable.

Our wedding reservations were made a year in advance. Needless to say they were beyond messed up upon arrival with out of state family & guests. My sister, the mother of the bride, had no where to sleep or ready herself for this momentous occasion. The manager actually YELLED at us. I cried & was heart broken for my sister. It was horrendous. She had paid in full for three deluxe two bedroom suites & she slept on a couch. The manger was not nice, remorseful, polite, or able to make anything right for my sister. Even though my elderly parents have stayed there over the years with their own hicupps, they assured us this was THE place to stay. They felt horrible for their daughter & were so terribly worked up. None of the 13 people will ever recommend or step foot in this place again as a DIRECT REFLECTION of the horrendous manager of this facility. Who by the way — as she was again berating & belittling me even the next day as I tried to see if there was ANYTHING I could pay for addionally for an accommodation for the mother of the bride — told me these were individually owned she could get me the names of all 77 owners as sarcastic & mean spirited as she could. Thank you Elmwood for a terrible stay.

We had an over night stay at Elmwood, on our way back to Boston, and our flight back to U. K. The unit was bright and spacious, with a fully functional kitchen. The bedroom was large and airy with lovely modern decor, we were very pleased. Sadly it all turned to ashes when we were awakened with the repeating clunking\ knocking noise coming from what we guessed to be an air conditioning unit on the outside wall? I can assure you it wasn't coming from inside the unit, as I spent a sleepless night looking for it. So disappointed,

Other than their smoking policy (under a canopy at the end of the parking lot) it was great. Full kitchen nice bath with lots of fresh towels and a comfy bed (King)

We love this place. Every time we come to Maine, we stay here. Great place for family and so much space in the rentals. I would way rather pay to stay here then the same price for a small room that shares its space with the table, TV and bed. My kids need to have the ability to move around. Plus there 2 pools and playground are awesome for the kids.

An amazing place to stay. With a playground, 2 pools and nightly movies outside by the fire my 2 yr old always had something to do when we got back from the beach. The popcorn treat was a welcome bonus. The service was great. I loved having a kitchen to cook in, fully stocked with dishes, pans and utensils. The bed was comfy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also a great location, minutes from everything and with a trolley stop we had a choice to leave the car. Cannot say enough good things about this place!

Really nice place. The room was comfortable and well appointed, and the bed was new and awesome. Staff was universally friendly, the kids loved the pools and we had fun at the music night. We only stayed a couple nights but could see it as a great home base for a full week in the area. Very close to Laudholm Farms and the Rachel Carson nature preserves.

Very well situated. Clean hotel, fair pricing, and very family friendly. Lots to do, loved the 244 inch screen outside the hotel!

Elmwood is a top notch resort with great housekeeping and emenities. Construction on the room next to us waking us up at 6:35 AM was not top notch.

Wonderful hotel with a convenient but quiet location. Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, comfortable and feel like part of a home. Kitchen in each room comes with dining and silverware, as well as glasses. The only thing that could be better is the Wi-Fi, but that is my only complaint. I love staying here!

My boyfriend and I stay here every year for our anniversary (this June will be our 3rd), and we LOVE the Elmwood! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and also pretty flexible for far travelers looking for the possibility to check in a little earlier/check out a little later. The grounds and entire property in itself is gorgeous and very well maintained. The inside of the condos are all really nice as well, nothing is really dated or worn (like you tend to see with rental condos nowadays). The amenities at your disposal are incredible compared to other hotels and resorts. We do wish that sometime in the future you guys will extend your pool hours for adults slightly, once in a while I'm sure the adults would love to go for a late night swim (I know we would)! This place is seriously a gem, we will continue to book with them every June for years to come! :)
