Review of Embassy Suites 3*

After 2 years of having no time alone my husband and I finally decided to get away for the night. We were thrilled to book a room at a HILTON hotel and very much looking forward to being pampered and relaxed. Definitely not the case here. Stayed at many hotels over the years and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had. 2 room suite! great but neither room is very large. Bed is comfy but the heater makes so much noise it's almost impossible to sleep! Cabinets are closerthanthis to falling apart. 24 hour front desk! great except they're not very helpful or pleasant. The girl that checked us in never once smiled and didnt even give us our room number. Fitness center, Pool and Hot tub! the fitness area is cold (like many of the common areas), the HOT tub is lukewarm and the pool is freezing! oh they're having HVAC issues says the sign that youd never notice if you weren't looking for it. Why isn't it mentioned at check in? Complimentary reception and a restaurant in the hotel that serves dinner! Awesome! oh but if you sit down for dinner and order your drinks from your waitress those drinks arent free. You must exit the restaurant and go wait in line in the Lobby. Your waitress will be friendly, the couple of times you see her. Pro's: close to the maine mall, the housekeeping staff is super friendly (and great at their jobs! ), and the complimentary breakfast is pretty tasty. Fancy looking lobby Cons: just about everything else We had such high hopes. Never again!
