It was the perfect getaway for my son, his wife and me. It was so relaxing — we went into Rockland twice and the drive was easy. Ate at La Miranda in Rockland outside with the firepits and then went to the Farnsworth Museum and did a little shopping. Back at Seaside, we did breakfast and lunch at the Port Clyde General Store across the street and bought two Wyeth prints at the Wyeth Gallery above the General Store. If we were tired, we rested — if we wanted to read, we read, if we just wanted to stare out at the water we did. The Seaside Inn is conducive to just about anything you care to do. We will come back again next summer.
