Reviews of Tahiti Village 3*
In terms of a resort esp in Vegas I'd say one of the best. The lazy river is a big plus for the family and 24 hr. Jacuzzi is nice to enjoy. Take advantage of their coupons and concierge take the little tour and save some money on attractions ect. I always enjoy my time here.
The continental breakfast provided needs a little more variety, but this place has the best amenities of any that I looked at in Vegas, all included. The Landscaping is gorgeous, there is a free shuttle to the strip which stops at the Mirage and the Tropicana Hotel, and the staff are all very cheerful and helpful. I think the only two things that could make this place better are updating some of the carpets and possibly some free fresh baked cookies in the lobby!
The location is nice. Close enough to everything but far enough that its quiet. Drive to the strip is maybe ten minutes. The rooms are a nice size and are very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend and definitely stay again.
A great resort that will meet your very need. Great pool area with a lazy river. They even do a luau from memorial day to labor day on Sundays. Good bar. The staff is very friendly. My wife and I have been here three times now and love it.
Was pretty packed but enjoyed the pools. The pool with the sand area though was extremely warm. Favorite spot was the lazy river. Was cool and didn't seem jam packed. Lots of life guards on duty. Bbq area, kinda small area but nice little spot. All pools had plenty of seating available for how busy it was. Room are nice as well. Parking was a little hectic.
Rooms are amazing. It's not as nice on the outside as the main Tahiti village. But more spacious rooms, less crowd. Next to the strip. Shuttle goes straight to mirage or Tropicana. Great place to have fun. Has swimming pools outside that are ok. Overall great experience.
We have a time share here and we love it. The pool is fun and the last river is so relaxing, I couldn't get the kids out of it. We get the 2 bedroom suite and it sleeps the whole family. I love the jacuzzi tub and steam shower that is in the matter suite. Full kitchen and all you'll need is in the kitchen too. The balcony is great for morning coffee or wine at night. Awesome place! Another great thing is that it's a little off the strip so your not battling the traffic but near everything.
Lovely inexpensive non casino property! Big rooms, well kept public areas. Super friendly staff. Located close to the Orleans casino and only a 10 minute drive to the strip. This place was quiet and clean and probably the best deal for those travelling on a budget but want nice accomodations. I'll be back!
It's a nice enough hotel but needs lots of maintenance. The biggest issue seems to be your experience being down to if you had a good room or not. My room was great. The other family with us were first assigned a room which was a total mess including the oven being pulled out into the middle of the room. Her second room had several broken smaller items. The staff also need to be trained and paid better so they care more about their jobs.
Love this place! I have four kids and this is the only place I'll ever go to Vegas with them. The resort area with the pool and stuff is really cool and fun. The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars just because there is a booking issue and took me a lot of talking figuring out with the staff to get it worked out. In the beginning they didn't want to help me at all! So basically said your screwed. And that's not something I want to hear after driving 6 hours with 4 Kids. And I thought it was stupid that I couldn't fix the booking through the front desk, they wanted me to get online and fix it through some booking agent like Priceline. Really?! And then after talking to the manager he said go ahead and fix it and the lady just hit a few buttons on her computer and fix it. And this is after she told me there was nothing she could do from her system. Other than that it's a fantastic place.
Impressed. First time here. The resort is very nice, clean and comfortable. Located 3 miles from the strip, it has shuttle transportation if you don't have a car. We have a 2 bedroom suite an it is very quiet. Kitchenette, in room laundry, living room patio, 2 pools, hot tub and more. Lists a continental breakfast but it is not like a hotel continental breakfast. Only have a choice of muffin, bagel or banana. More choices would have been great. Still have a few days left in my visit. Looking forward to it!
First thing I've noticed was that it wasn't clean at all. Carpets were filthy and our feet and socks were black when we walked around in our room. My husband put his dark shorts in the closet and they were full of dust when he wanted to put them on. All in all it just wasn't clean. Room was cleaned only once a week. Never experienced that in my whole life. The beach area by the pool was full of bees and even though it's a family hotel, I personally didn't like how many people were drinking and left kids unattended. The lazy river is very nice but the lack of management from the hotel leads to people not caring and leaving drinks and empty cups along the lazy river because they don't care to walk two steps to the trash cans. I semi enjoyed myself until one day before we were supposed to leave. After the pool around 3pm we've noticed that there wasn't any hot water. We waited around and asked when we would get hot water but nobody could tell us anything. We went about our day and called the hotel to ask for hot water so we could shower. They told us by the end of the day. We came home around 11 PM and there was still no hot water. My toddler daughter has eczema and I really wanted to shower her after the pool. This morning we woke up and there is still no hot water. We're flying home today but my last experience that is sticking is that I could not even shower. Disappointing. Just to add, I don't understand how anyone can say this is a clean hotel.
We arrived early they gave us a day pass so I could use the pool before our room was ready. They called us and told us our room was ready 2 hours earlier than the scheduled check-in time. Fantastic service from the desk personnel. Everyone was friendly and smiling our room is fantastic with the view of the pool but not noisy. What do it again love the sun and the hot weather. The only issue we have are the bees flying into the pool and committing suicide.
Great place, close to the strip with a regularly running shuttle. Fun activities for the whole family. Lazy river and giant pool with sandbar. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. BBQ areas make is easy and convenient to feel right at home. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Disappointed that towel service at the pool is no longer, you can't even trade your towel for a fresh one mid-day.
What a great resort timeshare/hotel to stay at. Full kitchen, whirlpool tub, two pools with sand, comfortable and clean living areas. Just couldn't say enough. The room were stayed in consistently smelled like an Indian restaurant the whole week (and we love Indoan food, but this was too much). We were not sure why. Glad we brought room spray.
Tahiti resort has been a pleasure to stay at. I cannot give a 4.5 stars so I am giving a 4. The reasoning behind this score is: Staff who were friendly and offered free bbq lunch on Tuesday at 12. Clean rooms with washer/dryer, microwave, full refrigerator, full stove/oven, full sink, full dishwasher, coffee maker, and all the dishes necessary to bake and stove top cook meals. A beautiful balcony area. An electric fireplace. Twin sinks in the bathroom. Whirlpool tub in bathroom. Clean and comfortable pillows and firm bed. I deducted stars for both the smell in our room and the lack of elevator on our side of the building (forcing us to walk a bit of distance to get to 3rd floor). Just make sure to park closer to main entrance gate if you need to get to 3rd floor. The elevator is located near lobby.
Tahiti Village is a pretty decent place to stay just off the strip and away from the crowds. Great for young families. BUT! We stayed three nights and two mornings we found cockroaches in the bathroom scurrying away when the lights came on. We notified the front desk and they asked me what I wanted to do about it. I figured they’d just come and take care of the problem right away, no questions asked. I thought they’d offer some form of compensation for sleeping with big bugs. Nope. I felt like I needed to prove it to Tahiti Village because they never came to check it out. So our second day I captured one under a glass and asked them to come take care of it. They said housekeeping would eventually come. I waited an hour past checkout time and no one came…
I stayed one night in this hotel and I had a great day. All very nice and clean. I recommend it.
We went here on vacation with my parents. This place was very well kept. A great place for families to go. It was a bit cold for their lazy river, but we tried! The only issue was our room wasn't ready for a hour after the expressed check in time, not a deal breaker but definitely a bit of a pain. Their shuttles to the strip were great! will definitely go here again, just maybe when it's warmer!
I've gotta hand it to the owner of this resort. My experience was over fantastic. I love the theme, especially because I am a Pacific islander. Their pool was my all time favorite. Why? It has sand! It was also huge! The rooms are amazing and so was the service. I 100% will come back here and I definitely recommend it to everyone visiting Las Vegas.
A bit eccentric from the Strip but perfect if come to Las Vegas by car the rooms are large and comfortable and the hotel is not expensive, very long outdoor pool and small Jacuzzi available. Every morning, nice breakfast with bagels, fruit and coffee, all at will.
This place is conveniently located by the airport and not far off the strip. Outlet shopping is walking distance and Whole Foods is very close. The pools, lazy river, and hot tubs are wonderful. I love the fact that there is a kitchen. I ended up cooking every day. This is a great resort overall. My stay was very comfortable.
We only stayed for one night at this great hotel. Its location is great to easily reach most of downtown Las Vegas. The room was very clean and it was very good. The value for money is great. Clean bathroom with all the comforts. Finally, courteous and very professional staff. We will definitely go back!
I was pleasantly surprised with the resort and my room. I never stayed here before so I really didn't know what to expect. I tried to get a week here but unfortunately only got to stay 1 night. I had to stay at another time share the previous 6 nights. I wish I could have had the whole week here at Tahiti Village. The lobby was clean and inviting. It was teaming with activity at 10pm at night and the staff was super friendly and engaging. When I got to my room, I was very pleased. The kitchen was up to date and we appointed. The room was very large and spacious. I liked how the bedroom could be completely closed for privacy too. An over a fantastic experience for me. I plan to book here on my next trip to Las Vegas!
Take extra. A fee that is not specified in advance.
This place is really nice. My family loved it. The pool area with the beach and The Lazy River were a ton of fun. Value is really great during off-peak pricing. Room was clean and comfortable and large. We will definitely recommend this place and stay there again.
Tahiti is a great place for anyone wanting a place that's quiet. It's located close to the strip, has restaurants and a Walgreens within walking distance. The rooms are a little older but clean and had everything we needed. I would stay again!
Stayed here for a week in Vegas. It's a well maintained and quiet resort slightly off the strip. It was great to come back to after walking the crowded strip hotels all day. Offers two Sandy bottom pools and one large hot tub. Would come back again.
Stayed here in the large suite on a time share exchange. Perfect for family to share. Amenities are excellent, room was really clean, pool area is beautiful & shuttle service was really convenient. Location is perfect, with quick access to freeways to drive places but close proximity to the strip. Outlet mall is easily within walking distance or a really quick drive. Only complaint is that the hot water often took forever to come out of some taps, if at all. I'd definitely stay here again.
A nice hotel, with two beautiful pools, relatively cheap and well suited for families (no slot machines inside the hotel). It is nevertheless a huge complex (a little factory) and away from the Strip (the hotel shuttles are free to get to the city center of Las Vegas but the ride is a bit long: 45 minutes from the hotel Tropicana to the hotel Tahiti village because the bus makes a long Det ur…).
Great place to stay. We went for a time share presentation/free stay. Unfortunately (without getting into much detail) we had some complications during our trip… bottom line, the hotel and time share staff were very accommodating, professional, and considerate of our troubles. We stayed in a room without much of a view. Nothing really spectacular about it, but it had everything we needed! Short drive to the strip, shuttle provided if you don’t feel like driving. Pools were great, especially lazy river. It was pretty crowded on the weekend we were there, so shoot for weekdays if possible. So, despite our troubles, I would definitely stay here again.
Nice place, good location and great shuttle service to the strip. Guest services could have been better at check-in, as they didn't explain much even though they knew we were doing a trial stay to consider their timeshare presentation. Location of amenities, etc wasn't described well but once we found it all we like it! We did not buy a timeshare but may consider it later.
We always stay here when we come to Vegas. Just far enough away from the craziness and expense of the Strip. Relaxing, Comfortable, Clean and Accommodating. Want the strip, it's just a quick shuttle ride up. Lots of restaurants, shopping and things to do in the area around the Village. A little bit of Tahiti in the desert.
Tahiti Village Hotel in Las Vegas is a nice family resort with room option with full kitchen that is fully stocked with dishes and appliances and pull out bed. Everything very clean and comfortable. Jacuzzi bathtubs these rooms also have balconies.
Great place to stay for a week for 344.00.1 bedroom fireplace e view of the pool and driving a mustang convertable. Life us good.
Impressed. Fiest rume here.
Watch carefully your invoice they charge in advance and wrongly it took me 1 month to get my money back.
The place is clean and good enough to sleep out the strip or Old Las Vegas.
NO CASINO
NO BAR
NO RESTAURANT
NO ROOM SERVICE
POOL
PARKING
Too expensive 324 the night in special time events, does not worth it.
No electric vehicle charger.
Beautiful hotel. I really enjoyed the beautiful lazy river, pool, and both hot tubs, one of which is only for adults and is open 24 hours, so of course I went there! My dad and I had a great time. I met a cat and we named her Vegas. I will upload a photo of her. The only issue with the rooms is that there are NO fans, not even in the bathrooms. I had to download an app for white noise when I went to sleep. As my dad went to the gym there was no soap in the restroom. He asked for them to replace it, but they never did. On the contrary, the concierge was great! She really helped us find things to do with great discounts. I really recommend this hotel!
The room had a king bed. Kitchenette. Easy access to local casinos and a shuttle to the strip. We liked it.
I stayed here on my honeymoon. The staff was accommodating and pleasant even with our arrival after 1 am. The room itself was beautiful, spacious and very clean. It’s just a few blocks from the south end of The Strip which makes it a cheaper option while still being close enough to get rides back and forth easily. I would stay again and recommend to anyone looking to save but not compromise the resort feeling and experience.
It has a good restaurant for breakfast, lunch or breakfast.
After spending a few days looking at hotels and stopping myself from actually committing to one, I saw a great deal from Tahiti Village. When I saw a photo overlooking the pool at night, my search for the perfect, serene atmosphere for my Vegas vacation ended! Booked the room right away and when I got to my room, it wasn’t what I asked for or paid for. My view was of the parking lot and with one quick phone call, they put me EXACTLY where I wanted to be. My friend I was visiting had to drag me off the balcony overlooking the pool the first 2 days of my trip. The kitchen had everything you needed to make whatever you wanted (minus the food of course). The washer and dryer came in handy so I didn’t have to travel home with dirty clothes. The bathroom had a shower and a bathtub along with a double sink and vanity, complete with a little stool and mirror for makeup. It was EVERYTHING I wanted and I couldn’t have chosen a better place for my week long break. My only regret was not getting to use any of the ammeneties because I was stuck on the balcony or out on the town.
This place is amazing! Beautiful rooms, well kept facilities. When you enter the hotel the smell of coconuts and pineapple truly put you in an island vacay mood! Friendly staff made us feel at home. Convenient shuttle service was a plus too! We will DEFINITELY be staying again.
Huge resort in Tahiti style, all very clean, mega pool landscape, nice staff, great rooms. Highly recommended!
I read other reviews before we travelled here for our mini vacation. The reviews were right on. The staff very polite, very helpful and that made me feel great. When things needed taken care of staff was very quick to take care of the problem. Thank you all for your great care of my family and me! Will come again.
Very nice place with several pools and a hot tub and gym. Clean but a little dated but appreciate the kitchen facilities. A little ways from the strip but a shuttle to 2 places.
Enjoyed our stay! Room was exceptional, very comfortable except for pillows. Nice kitchenette, microwave, full electric stove and dishwasher! Even a washer dryer! Great pool, jacuzzi and lazy river! Shuttle to Strip makes it great! Gonna get a massage before we leave to top off a great 4day President’s Day weekend!
Not to be confused with Tahiti Village which is what we thought we were booking through a third party. Disappointed. Room is spacious but dated. They don't clean your room, make your bed, or replace your towels unless you stay 7 days; we hated that. Front desk personnel was kind. Breakfast didn't have a lot of variety but was well stocked. Hot tub was not very hot but pools and water features are pretty.
Great place to stay if you want a nice family friendly off strip hotel. Nice tropical lagoon style pool with a lazy river. Nicely kept grounds. Clean and comfortable. There's also enough to do on site to meet your needs. Bar, restaurant, convenience store, shuttle service to the strip etc…
This place is superb! Friendly people, very large rooms and they were more than happy to give us directions as to what and see and do in Vegas. They are not located on the main strip, but are only several minutes away (taxi, not walking! ). There is also a fantastic huge shopping mall just down the road from them that have great bargains on just about everything! A great place to stay, very peaceful, lots of palm trees and helpful staff… hence five stars!
Excellent place to spend the Vacasiones.
This place was very beautiful. What a great place to stay. 4 stars because you have to call the front desk to get your room serviced (trash emptied, bed made, new towels, new wash clothes, and etc. ). There are no services unless you ask. It would have been nice to know this policy when we checked in. If they change that policy, this place could easily be 5 stars. Still, highly recommended.
Staying here 12 days. Very clean, attentive staff, lots of places to lay out by the pool, lazy river, grassy areas, etc. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms are huge, kitchens are adequately supplied. Full sized stove and fridge for extended stays. Washer and dryer in unit is a big plus. Only thing I can see people griping about (not me) is being so close to the airport there is a lot of jets and accompanying noise. Luckily, the windows to the units block out most of it. In fact, sleeping in them is just about as quiet as a tomb! There is a restaurant on site. Food is pretty good, we ate there the first night. Decent beer and cocktail selection. Nicest smelling lobby ever! Enjoyed interacting with the cats in the resort (they are in rodent patrol) and no, we never ever saw any pests.
Beautiful resort. We booked multiple rooms and were accommodated all next to each other as requested with a beautiful view. The location is definitely gives off a Hawaiian theme as well as a vacation club without being too pushy. Great resort if you are looking for a little relaxation and quiet which is hard to find on the strip.
Very accommodating. Had to request a handicap accessible shower and was upgraded at no charge. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Continental breakfast daily. Great way to start the day.
Good location off the strip and still closed by. Shuttle services are excellent and also the staff at the resort. The complimentary breakfast is okay but nothing to complain about since it is free. Family of four and very satisfied and would highly recommend this place.
Nice location. Excellent cleaning and maintenance.
Ted Owl Hotel For those who wish to be quiet in Las Vegas. A free shuttle allows you to find the busy life of the Strip in less than 15 minutes.
The staff we met in person were friendly, but my employer sent a gift basket for our wedding anniversary (even paid extra so it would be delivered to our room) and we never received it during the entire week we stayed there. As we were checking out, the girl at the front desk asked us if we ever received our gift basket. We didn’t know what she was talking about. On our way home, I called to inquire about it. I was lied to and told it was a miscommunication. I was told a gift basket never arrived for us. Today, my employer received a phone call that said they tried to deliver the gift basket to our room but couldn’t because we didn’t answer the phone when they called. We were there for an entire week! Somebody there dropped the ball and, worst of all, they were dishonest about it.
Clean rooms and Friendly staff. I did have an issue with hot water, but it was quickly resolved. I asked for a quiet room and that's what I received. I love the fact that this place has kitchenettes. If you're looking for a place that's off the strip, but close to the strip and attractions this place really can't be beat.
Excellent place to have a beautiful pool, very friendly staff.
A place to vacaionar the best ☺
Excellent cleaning. Very comfortable. Super attention. The resort is huge. The pools and the lazy river incredibly well. There is good Wi-Fi. There's everything. Simply Excellent.
The hotel it's self is amazing, from decor to service. A few dings for really long walks to room and poor parking choices, as well as overpowering perfume in the lobby. However, the place is beautiful, safe, and friendly. I would go here again if I had to stay somewhere in Vegas. Also, look out for kitties on property! They are adorable.
It's a great space with spacious rooms. It was very comfortable and for my purposes, it's close to the highway, very convenient. The 24 hour hot tub was a bit cool but it was a cold night. The bar was great with some live music and the small store had contact solution when I ran out. Good spot.
The Tahiti Village Resort is a really great place to stay. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are well stocked with amenities and very comfy and large. The lazy river is awesome. The pool is open year-round and heated which is really nice and there's a 24 hour adult hot tub which is cool too. They provide a shuttle that picks up every half hour and drops off at three separate locations, two on the strip and one in downtown. I would definitely recommend this place and I would stay here again.
It's a beautiful place different alodemas.
I was pleasantly surprised with our visit. There was a goofy little kids activity center that our very young kids enjoyed immensely. They decorated cookies, made Play-Doh and created sand art necklaces. There lazy river was fun. The sand beach pool was a huge hit. My three year old and five year we're extremely impressed. Overall it was a great experience.
Overall we liked this place. Our kids appreciated the sand-bottom pool and we found it not-overly-crowded. Two stars primarily reflect a poor customer service experience. Breakfast probably isn't the right term for what they offer, a bagel, a muffin, banana, orange, orange juice or coffee. After checking out we called to let them know we left something behind in the room. Instead of helping, we were immediately referred to a third-party vendor who required a ransom be paid for the items to be returned. Essentially, a decent place to stay off the strip with kids.
Clean, better kept than other places we've been. Hot tub and two pools open 24 hrs. Friendly staff. They offer very limited continental breakfast. Fruit beagles muffins juice coffee tea.
Great place to get to stay. The rooms are comfortable and have well equipped the cook. The service from the hotel staff is very good. The pools are fine. Recommendation for those who wear children. Take an electric skillet to prepare a quick breakfast.
We are owners but had not been back for 6 yrs. So many nice upgrades. Lobby, restaurants, 5 buildings with more to come in the back. Shuttle is good. We had 1 bad experience where the driver drove right past the 4 of us, while we screamed and waved our hands. Lazy river, pool, hot tubs all manned by multiple lifeguards. Very clean, friendly help and staff. Our room faced the strip, 1501 A, and upholstery was pretty, furniture nice, water hot and AC quiet. Magnifying mirror a nice touch.
Amazing upscale apartment like units. Beautiful large island shaped pools. Sexy lazy river. Upscale grills with small refrigerator in grilling areas. Hallways smell amazing. Staff quick and on point. I Love this place! Simply amazing!
A great place to relax. My wife and I on holiday. My daughter gave us a week time share and we chose the Tahiti in Las Vegas. Very clean friendly staff and great front desk. Very quiet being away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. The room was clean and spacious. It has a fully furnished kitchen we took advantage of this and ate inside a couple of times. Also used bbq a nice set up by the pool. The Orleans hot tell is a short walk and has a good selection of restaurants to choose from. I recommend McMullen. Irish Pub across the street. All in all a great stay.
The taxi drive from airport to the Tahiti Village was short and easy. Walking to the suite for my disabled husband was more challenging than expected. The suite was roomy with great amenities, however the counters, refrigerator and carpets were not very clean. Food residue and dirt was still left from the previous residents. Local food from the resort was average and expensive. However, the swimming choices and experience was awesome!
I've been here 4 times and each time gets better. The staff here is crazy nice. The setting is beautiful. The pool and lazy river… Awesome! Free shuttles to the strip. The restaurant on-site has excellent food and great drinks. Not sure what else to say. I love this place.
Took the timeshare tour. This place is beautiful! At the VERY far end of the strip… so away from all action. Beautiful rooms and the lazy river looks awesome! Had a sandwich from the restaurant and it was delicious. Fresh turkey and just really good!
Wonderful resort atmosphere, definitely makes you feel like you are not in the middle of a city. Free shuttles are awesome. Activities for kids, on site convenient store, rooms are really well done. Only thing I would suggest is to check the ashtrays more often and enforce the no smoking policy in rooms (next door to us was a non smoking room and they smoked and it came through vents)
The place is nice. Staff is friendly. I would give it 5 stars if they had something more for breakfast. Other than fruit there was nothing for those who had wheat allergies.
A hotel Q for nothing meets the expectations we had. It is far from the center, not change the sheets or towels, the breakfast is not good but the woman Q caters is adorable. For a little longer we would have gone downtown.
What an incredible resort, like a real oasis in the middle of the desert. The place is impeccably clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is just far enough from the craziness of the strip so that you can find some peace. The shuttle service is great or you can catch an Uber to and from the action for a reasonable fare, we've done both. We've had a blast and will certainly return to this property in the future. I highly recommend it!
We love our Tahiti Village… they are so accommodating and as owners we are always welcome. No one hassles us to do upgrades anymore when we tell them nicely that we are not interested. We have been going every other year since 2009 and have enjoyed sitting out on the balcony sipping coffee in the morning, and cocktails at night. The pool is fabulous, with it's white sandy beach. You truly feel that you are in a Tahitian village, especially at night with the tiki torches glowing all around the pool and walk-ways! Love it!
I love Tahiti Village! There is a beautiful pool that has a sandy beach area. They gave a huge lazy river with several waterfalls. The rooms are clean and updated. The staff treat you like family. They have shuttles to the strip all day long.
I stayed here as a guest if someone who has a timeshare at the resort. The hotel is nice, nothing fancy or anything, just pleasant. Very family friendly, the lazy River is fantastic. My kids spent hours each day in the river and pool. The rooms are clean and we'll appointed — very comfortable. A great experience.
This is a beautiful resort and has many great things to do here. The employees are really nice and helpful. The only problem I have is my parents bought a timeshare here and it was gifted to my wife and I for our honeymoon and they gave us the wrong room. Still a beautiful room but I feel like they were just trying to get us in an out of the lobby because of the rush that came in at once. But still very nice place here and would cone back again.
This place is amazing. They have a free shuttle to the strip, activities for the family, and a very fun lazy river. The hotel smells of vanilla and I think it's coconut and it smells amazing. Overall, it is very relaxing and very fun. I only wish they had music playing outside while in the lazy river because it would make it more fun. You can bring your phone and listen that way, but if they had an overall speaker for the area there wouldn't be an overlap of music.
It is an awesome place. Staff is very friendly, place is clean and nice. Just down the street from the main Strip. Pool and lazy river are awesome to relax in and cool off. Room was very nice and well maintained. I will be going back with my family.
The resort is family friendly and the staff is responsive to requests. The pool area is nice (updated recently). The rooms could use updating to be more modern.
We frequent Tahiti Village but decided to try this sister location. The room layouts are very similar. Rooms are nice and big. Location is pretty good. Pools aren't too bad. Small breakfast is a great plus. I didn't expect that. In the end I prefer the other location.
I loved this place! It is close to everything and I liked their pools. If you have kids they will love it here! I will definatley come back, I came on a promotion and ended up getting a free stay with no presentation. Staff is friendly and rooms were nice and clean.
Very nice suite, spacious, well equipped two TV, fridge, toaster.
Tahiti is a clean, quiet, timeshare resort. The rooms can offer one or two bedrooms with kitchens. The kitchens provide almost everything for cooking. The property has two small swimming pools to help beat the Vegas heat. The facility is off the strip but a free shuttle is available to take you down to the strip (Check the schedule, it does not run 24 hours a day). Grocery stores are a close drive away if you are wanting to get groceries for extended stays. A minimal Continental breakfast of muffins, bagels, fruit, juice and coffee are available in the morning. I would recommend this place for a quiet family get away, close but just far enough away from the bustle of the strip.
I saw some negative reviews and I was skeptical to come to this resort but they were offering a deal for 4 days/3 nights free if we sat through a timeshare presentation. My husband and I couldn't afford a honeymoon so this was our opportunity to get a vacation the day after our wedding. I did my research and some people said they were treated differently because they took the freebie, that the timeshare presentation was high pressure and hard to bare, that there were bums asking for money out front. We didn't experience ANY of those things. From the second we walked in we were treated with the highest respect, our room was beautiful, the service was professional and kind, there were no bums in sight, the timeshare presentation was SHOCKINGLY FUN. The man was funny, we felt no pressure to buy at all and they offered lots of snacks and drinks. We are THRILLED with our experience and will be returning next year for our anniversary!
We found the front desk and concierge personnel to be extremely friendly and well-trained. They were patient with our questions and had answers for them all! The room was amazing — more than expected! The (-1) star comes from the dirty, unvacuumed hallways. There were stains, dirt, food crumbs, and all sorts of other material on the floor. Otherwise, a great visit.
Tahiti is pretty great! The suites are sizeable, easily housing 7 of us. And the shower and jacuzzi in the room are incredible. The pool is set at a great temperature, and has a lot of room to play with. Haven't tried the hot tub yet, but it looks nice! They offer a free Continental breakfast each morning, and it's actually pretty good! Lots of fresh fruit. If I had any gripes, it's that the exercise room is very lackluster. Very few machines to work with.
T. V. Is making changes all the time… they are all for the better! I've been an owner since 2006 and it just gets better. The answer to the question is, "NO! I'm not interested on selling my timeshare (LOL) Plenty of towels and supplies. My room was SPOTLESS (Thanks to Ramona). Adj temp was great. Next time I'm trying all the activities available. Also making mention that every ride of every shuttle was great! These guys made it fun. Thanks tahiti village.
The rooms are spacious and only mildly dated. The pool area is really pleasant with pools for swimming, splashing, relaxing, and so forth. The lobby area is pleasant and hosts a breakfast albeit with very limited hours 8-10am. Good place for relaxing with the family away from the strip, but a short drive from all the action.
I have no complaints about stay at this resort. I was unfortunate to only stay for a night because I wanted to stay much longer. The location is pretty nice, right next to Las Vegas Outlets and plenty of dining options down the street. The pool area was great and the bar at the pool served drinks at a super reasonable price. My room was extremely nice and comfortable. You will not be disappointed staying here to relax off the strip.
The guys on the street lie to you and promise you totally free gifts that won't cost you anything. Not True at all! Then a high pressure "closer" who looks like Tony Robbins son comes in and is arrogant and rude and won't take no for an answer. My advice is to stay away from these mind games that they play and enjoy yourself elsewhere! And I have vacationed many places and The Tahiti village doesn't meet my expectations at all! In my opinion, it is a total waste of time and money! Buyer Beware!
Location was nice. Balcony had a very nice view of the mountains even if the view of nearby wasn't too pretty. Room has everything I need and all the furniture is very comfortable. There is an ice machine in the room so unless you need large amounts of ice, you don't need to leave the room to get it. Parking can be a little tricky but it's nothing to worry about.
I just wanted to say thank you to Felicia – The CS Supervisor — I was using an exchange week from Trading Places (Never Again) but anyway once everything was explained to Felicia she went over and above to help. Great location just south of the strip, shuttle to Tropicana and Mirage every 30 minutes. Beautiful resort, the one-bedroom unit is beautifully decorated. Staff very friendly. Don't let a few negative reviews stop you from booking 3 Step Travel Inc.
Beautiful resort. I have time share there, love the sauna in the bathroom and the jet tube. The two bedroom unit is beautifully decorated. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Great location just south of the strip, shuttle to Tropicana and mirage every 30 mins. Awesome pool and lazy river. Bar and restaurant is nice. Breakfast place next door. Rooms are in need of repair, dishwasher not working great, shower door fitment issues. Overall very good, and I will return.
House since the confiscation of pick-up garbage over and over now and again to go to the changing room congestion heart.
Very accommodating very friendly staff especially night auditor Denise. Went over and above to help me. Don't let a few negative reviews stop you from booking especially with kids my son loved the pool and the room setup was amazing it was a great experience.
This is a great family friendly resort. It's off the strip, but close to food and shopping. The strip is a short drive away. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The pools were great, the room setup was really nice with adjoining units. We much preferred this to our on-strip stay part of our vacation.
Great service and services. Pool is amazing with turns and twists. Rooms great except slight smell some may not like. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice exercise center, spas open 24 hours with game room.
Beautiful facilities nice view. Everything is close by and has transportation to permanent Steep. The outlets are a three minute walk.
Kindness, cleanliness and excellent location.
Rooms are pretty up to date nothing super old. Pools are large not heated though. Two hot tubs one adult and one everyone however they really aren't all that hot. Wi-Fi isn't great at all, but didn't come for it. Good transportation to and from the strip.
Been here many times in the past 9 years, We always came back for the heated pool area, but as of this weekend 10/21/16… THE POOL IS NOW FREEZING … no one seems to know why and we've overheard many people complaining, I have personally spoken to the head pool guy who assures me the heaters are on! They're not! … also the pool area now closes completely at 8pm! Used to be able to sit around with your feet in the pool as it's a lovely area … not anymore, also beware if you move your car in the morning, because as soon as you do the denny's valet puts a cone in the space you left so he can use it. I mean come on, how lazy do you have to be not to be able to walk to denny's from the super small parking lot! … WHY AM I PAYING A RESORT FEE? … THE POOL IS STILL COLD, DID I MENTION THE POOL IS FREEZING? … Shame on you timeshare Tahiti village.
Good sized rooms, friendly staff. Lazy river isn't heated but is nice. I didn't give the hotel 5 stars because of how dirty the carpet is. My feet turned black from walking around my room. Ended up always wearing sandals in the room because of it.
Wow. This place is a joke. No staff. The scheduled activities dont happen on schedule. The rooms all smell like cigarette smoke. Windows dont open and face walls or a fake tree. Staff is not rude just completely blaise. Manager wont return a call even when faced with valid smoke smell complaint. I wouldnt stay here again if its free. Homeless people on th sidewalk asking for money every time we leave…
My wife and I had Horrible service when we complained about cigarette smoke on our floor. It's supposed to be a non smoking hotel but with no security and no one that cares it stinks to the high heavens of smoke. I was staying here as a potential buyer. However after this visit I and no one I know will ever stay here again. The rooms have no windows and smoke is thick in the air… My pregnant wife is literally sick to her stomach after staying one night here. And believe it or not it's the 1st time she has thrown up. Thanks tahiti village. **note to self Never take the free time share trip**. We wouldn't stay here again if they paid us.
From where I stayed (5th tower), it was a great experience. The rooms were very clean, full kitchen, bathrooms, a jacuzzi, steam shower, decent Wi-Fi… All very extravagant. Although they don't provide you with shampoo, but they provide you with conditioner. Weird. Perhaps it was a mistake. Our view off the east side is rather dull though. It's a giant dirt lot. Not exactly appealing. Though if you're facing west, it's a lot prettier and you can see some of the strip. I recommend getting a west facing room from this tower. Service was great, friendly, and informative. The pool and lazy river is a great place to visit. They provide you with tubes to float around, and it's really relaxing!
Been coming here every year for the last 3 years and definitely love just about everything about the place. The views from the patio are lovely (though nothing too scenic, it's still just Las Vegas). Plenty of space all-around, the pools are a great size, the rooms are quite roomy. Only aspect of the entire resort that I was dissatisfied with was the customer service. Think they should be a bit more focused on upbeat, outgoing people. Very inconsistent there but otherwise this place keeps me coming back.
Easy access from the airport and minutes away from shopping and dining. Check in times are set but they're willing to accommodate and hold luggage. The facilities are great, and clean. Taxis and shuttles to the strip are always available.
Excellent Resort for not being in the hustle and bustle of las vegas and that children also enjoy.
We've been coming to this location for over 6 years and have been members for over 12 years. It's a great site, perfect for kids with their activities, no casino, very friendly staff, great happy hour. We come every year!
Very nice I love the view but can get a little crowded. They are always willing to help you though. Overall a great experience.
Nice rooms. Check In staff were very helpful. The pool and lazy river are nice, busy but big enough to not be crowded. There are plenty of kids activities like movie nights with popcorn, craft activities. Shuttle bus from the resort to the strip and a couple of other places. Wi-Fi is available and good.
This is a very nice resort. The rooms are great and the grounds are beautiful with all the trees and plants. However the service is inconsistent, some days the pool bars don't even open and other times they are poorly stocked. This is still a place I would come back to.
The resort is beautiful! and the staff is very nice! We stayed at the Bora Bora the room was equipped with everything you might need even baking dishes! The only negative thing I have to say is about their lack of security I noticed other people already figured out how to sneak in to use the amenities, all they have to do is wait for a customer with a key to open the door and go in, one day while I was at the balcony I noticed people staying at the motel across the street coming in ready to go swimming, I don't think it's fair that us paying customers have to share the ammenities with free loaders, This is the only reason why I wouldn't go back. They should have more security.
We stayed here free for 3 nights because we signed up for a time share presentation. The resort is beautiful, with a spectacular pool and lazy river. The room was large, and we'll appointed. They off many free shuttles to both ends of the strip and Freemont St. Customer service is top notch. The only thing out of place was the elevators. They were noisey and had some graffiti. Overall a great time. Would return.
Very fun and cozy.!
It was amazing! The pool and the lazy river were great, the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will be staying here again during our next visit.
If you want a relaxing place near the strip, this is it. The benefit of being off the strip is it's not crowded or rowdy. You can go into Vegas to party then come back to unwind in a beautiful resort. The only negative is the pool hours. The adult hot tub is 24 hours but no pool on a hot night is a bummer. Otherwise, kick back and enjoy the tahitian ambiance!
Clean well kept. Spacious with nice view of the strip. Great pool! Workout room needs more weights.
Polynesian-themed time-share resort at the south of the Las Vegas Strip, spitting distance from McCarran Airport. Good pools, nice lobby. Gift shop is a work in progress. On-site dining is ok if you don't feel like leaving the resort, but better value and more variety is available elsewhere. Free in-house shuttle vans run several times per hour between this resort and its sister properties as well as a couple of hotels on The Strip — ask the concierge for the shuttle schedule. Other amenities include spa, gym, outdoor BBQs, and lazy river.
I stayed here a week as a guest in a 1 bedroom suite. It had a king size bed and another room with a pull out couch. I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are nice and so is the staff that were always friendly and say hello and smile when you walk by. A continental breakfast is provided that includes bagels, muffins, bananas, oranges, coffee, tea, and orange juice, nothing fancy but nice. There is a large pool and jacuzzi area with gas grills. We barbecued about every other night. I had a very nice relaxing stay here. I would definitely stay here again.
Tahiti was a very nice resort. Room was clean and the resort staff was very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location. I would definitely stay again.
Very nice, clean rooms. The pool area is beautiful and was not busy. Or only complaint was that the walls in between the rooms are thin and you can hear your neighbors. But wonderful stay besides that. We would stay again.
Clean Price is average Rooms are ok, but THERE IS NO ROOM SERVICE unless you stay for 7 days.
Initially went to the wrong property, but the front desk staff was able to point me in the right direction, and printed out a map for me. Rooms were very nice and clean, and housekeeping was very friendly as well. Pool area was neat, and the heated water made for a pleasant winter dip (even tho it was freeeezing when we got out! ) There was plenty of parking available, and it was within walking distance of Walgreens and a few other restaurants.
I am a current owner at Tahiti Village and absolutely love it. The rooms are great and very accommodating. They are very big and a great for families. They have lots of activities do do just on the resort. They also have a free shuttle that will take you down town to the strip and back which is nice and convenient so you don't have to sit in traffic. I really love this place and it is very relaxing and the perfect get-a-way.
Check in is at 4, they did not give us our room until 7:15 causing us to miss our dinner reservations. In return for this 3 1/2 delay, they generously extended our ck out time by 30 mins. Starting at 9 our neighbors had a very loud party with 50+ guests. We called the front desk several times as the floors and our bed were vibrating from the loud music. By 2:30 am our room was completely filled with smoke from their huka bongs. Finally the front desk moved us downstairs. We were greeted on the 1st floor by 8 party guests asking directions on how to get to the birthday party. The maintenance man letting us in our new room kindly gave them directions. The poor family directly underneath the party were also out in the hall trying to get someone to quiet down the people above them so they could sleep. Our new room had feces smeared on the outside of the toliet. I immediately called the front desk and they told me to take a pic so I could show the front desk in the morning and get my room refunded. It was now 3:20 am. Upon checking out, we tried to speak to a manager and resolve the issues we had with our stay. After waiting g for 3 hrs we were told a manager would call us, of course Noone ever did. After calling back and talking with Corrina, she decided the only fair thing to do was refund us our $16 resort fee. We wasted so much time and money and had little to no sleep. Stay away from this place! Horrible!
Not to be confused with Tahiti Village, the Tahiti Resort is a quiet hotel just east of the Strip. We booked a room for four days (Wed-Sun) and love it. Beautiful lobby/grounds & friendly staff. We're staying in a studio with a kitchenette and it's perfect. Mini fridge, toaster, microwave, coffee maker. Large jacuzzi tub and granite countertops in the bathroom/kitchen. Very clean, cozy. Commute to the Strip is pretty painless, about 15 minutes from here to the Mirage. There's a complimentary shuttle that picks you up from the hotel at :10 after every hour and takes you to the Strip, and the last shuttle back to the hotel is at 11:35. All & all, this is the best hotel I've stayed in at such a reasonable price point. I'll book our next trip here again! Highly recommend!
Stayed for 4 days recently. Excellent small resort with a tucked away feel. Clean, quiet, and very nice and welcoming staff from the front desk to the concierge. 2 pools in a large outdoor area. The tropical music and palm trees out there did really give it a Tahitian feel. Even the scent on the hallways was tropical. Would stay again for sure.
My family and I stay here at least twice a year as we live so close. I would never buy into a timeshare, but I will buy a few nights of someone else's. Don't have to pay the maintenance fees each year :) This place is AWESOME, the lazy river, pools, kids clubs, the grounds, free shuttle, no annoying loud casino. WE LOVE IT here.
To me it was heaven I loved it it is just like home to me and I don't want to leave this place we only get 3 days for a vacation but I wish I had 6 full week.
Very Family Oriented And Yet Very Cool For Adults. 24hr Adult Jacuzzi. Restaurant Bar in Lobby. Every Thing From Craft Beer to comfort Food. Great Views Of Pool. Shuttle To Strip. Activities for the Whole Family. 5th Floor Activities with pool Table. Lazy River and Family Pool with Sand for Kids. Theme Is Tropical. Room's Give You Everything you Need. Stove, Refrigerator, Washer/Dryer. Microwave, and more. Steam Shower and Jacuzzi. If you get balcony ask for the Las Vegas Strip View over Looking The Lazy River.
This place is great! When it's too expensive to go to Hawaii, my family and I come here to relax and enjoy the Polynesian atmosphere.
Place was great! Very clean, the staff was very helpful and quick if you needed anything. Pools were amazing very clean and the waitress staff was nice. Rooms we're clean and well equipped. The 17 bar was GREAT, free drinks if your gambling and good snack menu. Would defiantly go back.
Loved this location. The layout. The staff were switched on. Parking at night is a pain. But outside of that. Will stay again and again and again. Dave Clee Australia.

This place looks really nice. Has a great pool for a family with little kids complete with real sandy beach to build castles. Has a hot tub by pool for those aching muscles. Nice big pool and lots of pool games and fun for the family. Nice music selection, no hip hop nonsense. Also has a lazy river to float on. All water areas are about 3feet deep. Located a stone's throw from premium outlet mall and very close to airport. Rooms are very nice as well.
