I am eternally grateful for the excellent week spent Oasis at Gold Spike during CES 2022. Thank you for keeping me safe, healthy and comfortable during my time in Vegas. You have a great team and I enjoyed co-working from your office… until next time!

Great place to sober up, sikkkke!

Stayed there 2 years ago. Loved it. The guy that checked us in was super cool. The place had great vibes. The location is so easy to enter/exit and be right on Freemont Street. The pool was fun and the bartender was friendly and fast. Going again this Summer.

Walked in and no workers and lots of homeless in the building. Highly don’t recommend staying here.

Horrible. Don't stay better off staying in your car. No parking, switch and bait, filthy, lousy customer service. No room cleaning, hallways were disgusting. Loud and noisy. Truly ghetto.

The place isn't for everyone. I do recommend it for people who are in their college years without young children. Located in Fremont Entertainment district of Vegas. If your definition of entertainment is going to comedy shows, magic shows and going to an opera or theatre. I dont recommend this place, but if entertainment means going to a college frat party. Then the Oasis at Gold Spike is is the place for you! My room was on the 6 floor of the tower and even with the outside party going on ouside til 3 in the morning was quiet enough in my room to sleep comfortably. The hotel is connected to a night club/bar called Gold Spike that is open 24 hours. No gaming amenities include a fitness room, morning coffee, access to the gold spike and a voucher for free parking. The rooms are clean. Staff is polite. Neighborhood is not the greatest but not the worst either. Pet friendly.

Had a great time! Definitely recommend for anything from chillin in the back with your BFF or large parties. We had about 15-20 for a private party and it was awesome.

I loved my stay! It’s my second time coming to Vegas and I hate I didn’t find this place sooner! Vintage feel with modern upgrades. Soooooo cute! Walking distance to Fremont St. Which was so convenient! I’d definitely recommend the Oasis!

The staff and security is so unbelievably rude here! Choose elsewhere — unless of course you don’t mind dealing with abuse in any form! This place is vile — the way they treat their guests in vile and so is their way of solving problems. They just immediatelty resort to bans and straight up physical abuse. STAY AWAY from this place.

Great location and chill vibe. Perfect if you are travelling with you dog.

Should be called a motel. No phone in the room, have to walk to office (across the property) to get ice and coffee, we went out, came back and bathroom floor was soaked-called n they said they’d send someone up, no one ever came. The only positive is Alexis at the front desk. I will NEVER NEVER start here again, extremely disappointing.

Great location kind of hidden from all the rest of downtown all the rooms are unique and you don't have to walk a mile to the pool just a fun vibe.

For the value of the room and location. It is a great place to stay. I've stayed downtown my whole life it's nice to see they are cleaning it up little by little. We enjoyed are room had a nice feel to it. Love that its puppy friendly. I would like to bring my boy next time. We loved the pool. Also we didn't have a issue with noise but we went to sleep in the we hours of the am. Such a cool location for downtown and I am a local.

Be wise and read this to make a better decision. Okay so I'm going to give this place a fair review from my experience last weekend. Once we got to the facility at 3 we had to wait another hour and thirty minutes to check in because our room was not cleaned yet. During our three night stay, we did NOT receive room service to clean up our rooms a single time. The maids did come in during the middle of our stay and refolded our dirty stained sheets on the bed which were filthy. They did not touch anything else. We were not treated fairly by this evil gesture. They did not give us clean bed sheets during our stay. They did not give us clean towels during our stay. Thank goodness I brought my own towels. The bathroom tub has a slow drain and water over flows from not letting out. The rooms look NOTHING like the pictures on their site. I'm very displeased with my first time Vegas experience.

The bed and pillows are heavenly soft! I came for 2 nights with my dog. (She loved the bed too! ) Noisy, but tolerable. Earplugs are in the room for you as well. Close to a 7-11 for snacks. Lively night life area. Pool looked nice. I was mostly in the room with my pooch. A/c was great, lots of space, awesome shower and nice tv. We enjoyed it a lot. Beware of a few things tho: cheap room rates, but hidden charges. There's a resort fee of $22.60 daily, a $50 deposit for the stay AND a $50 pet fee. Also, no grass area for the dog to pee in. Just rocks with shrubs. Overall tho, a nice place to stay. Close to lots of downtown activities.

The rooms looked newly remodeled. They were clean and the beds were comfortable. There was some road noise, but that is to be expected. Good location to Fremont st. There is no casino at this hotel though. Was a great room at a great price. I would stay again.

My favorite room of my whole vacation across country with my son it was beautiful however the bed chair and pool chairs were dirty the ones outaide the whole time. There is not a free breakfast like I thought and its more for adults only as you have to be 21 to enter most of the area includomg the backyard area. And one pf the bartenders was very rude I was talking about wanting a mudslide and a bartender said no blender I said ok let me think another bartender then proceeded to make fun pf the fact I wanted a mudslide saying he would so mudslides but not if I wanted chocolate chips or sprinkles or swirls of chocolate when o dosnt say any of that and I wasn't even engaged in the topic with him and mind you he was speaking to another customer so I walked out. But other then the dirty outside and the no breakfast like I thought it was beautiful inside great deal for suite.

I’ve been staying here for years and absolutely love it! The only thing with parking is, it’s hard to find a spot when you first get there to check in, however, they give you a pass to park in the lot across the way. If you don’t plan on using your car it’s great! We usually Uber/Lyft or walk so leaving our car is actually the better option! It’s a little noisy but that’s to be expected as it’s attached to Gold Spike! But if you like the outdoors, giants games, drinking, and live music it’s perfect to head over there before retiring for the night! The pool is perfect and the rooms are beautiful! My absolute favorite place to stay downtown!

Your money is better spent elsewhere. Resort fees where $20 per day, which would be fine if it was in fact a resort. It’s probably fine if you’re just in town to party but if you need a good nights sleep look else where. The bed was comfy though. I had to ask to be moved into a different room on the opposing side of the hotel because there was outdoor concerts going on right beside the hotel till 1am every night.

Great location! Decent room! As long as you are on the third floor, you don't hear any noise from the ground flood night club. Parking is not very convenient (need to park across the street), and you will have to go down to the bar to get ice). But overall the stay is worth the money we paid!

This is not the hotel for you to get a good night's sleep. The "lobby" is actually a bar/nightclub. Check-in is in an entirely different building. Parking is limited to a small lot out front for about 20 cars, and a public lot across Las Vegas Boulevard. Good luck finding a convenient electrical outlet in your room. At least they give you earplugs on the nightstand to help down out the music.

The Oasis was definitely for a younger crowd that want to party. I should have read the reviews. Lots of loud music caused by huge speakers places outside our hotel window. Lasting way past 2:45 am. My main complaint was that the TV didn't work. I called in the evening and they said they would be right over. Never came. I called the next day and they then said a guy would be there by 8:00 or 9:00 am. I said I would probably be gone by then. I gave a 3 because the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable.

This place is very easy to get to. It is a smaller hotel with less rooms. Even though the pool was on the smaller side I did like it. It went from 3-5 ft deep. I didn't get any pictures of a nice really nice courtyard they had with games and space to socialize. This hotel is right by Fremont street for sight-seeing and plenty of restaurants. It is a nice hotel for the low cost.

They put me in the tower instead of at the Oasis. It is okay, but a little inconvenient to walk through a night club to get to your room. Housekeeping didn't show up until well into the evening, and didn't restock amenities or clean. They just remade the bed. The second night we got new toiletries including the bar soap that was missing at check in. The pool is pleasant, but not at all heated. When I was out there, the towels were not getting restocked, so it might be a good idea to bring your own. There are fun activities, bar, and restaurant. It is in a convienent downtown location. Cool for young people who need a downtown spot to crash with no frills.

If I could give it zero stars I would. This has been the worst place I have stayed at. It is true you get what you pay for. DO NOT book this place. The staff is unfriendly and not willing to help or take your concerns serious. Most people complained about the noise levels, that was not a problem for me. It was cleanliness and that fact that almost everyday there was a cockroach in my room. I went to speak to front desk and they seemed careless about the problem and said they would take care of it but did not. I know the prices are very low, but that should not have anything to do with the way they service their rooms. Pay those extra bucks and book at a better place.

Oasis at Gold Spike officially took my spot for favourite place to stay in Vegas! It's steps from Fremont, with access to everything that street has to offer. The hotel itself is very unique. Once a standard casino/hotel it's been remodeled into almost a carnival. There are games inside right beside the bar and the restaurant. Lots of seating for relaxing inside and out. The hotel is split between the main building and the old motel directly beside. Very modern, clean and affordable! As with any hotel near Fremont the noise can be excessive at night but they provide ear plugs by every bed!

This place seemed a little weird at first but it turns out this is a gem. Close to so many things and the rooms are great. Got a suite and it was big and very clean. The shower was open and big enough to move around easily. The staff was super friendly.

Not for families. Great atmosphere, cool art. Very swanky. Lobby turns info a club after 9 and there are plenty of games to play inside and in the courtyard. Great was to meet locals.

This hotel was recently remodeled so the inside is pretty modern. We booked this hotel because of the environment they have (the backyard game area, etc). Every staff who helped us in the lobby were all nice. Upon check in, they gave us the wrong room (booked a double bed, gave us a single bed). We went to go fix this, and were told they didn't have any more double room for the night, so they gave us another single room which was fine. But we were told to come back the next morning so they could switch us into a double room, which was also fine but kind of a hassle to switch our belongings over. In the first room (the single), the bag for the ice bucket had been used and wasn't replaced. In the second room (the double), the lotion had been used, and our friends who stayed in the other single room said that their shampoo and conditioner bottles were all half empty. Makes you wonder what other things they don't replace. The 2nd room had black spots on the ceiling in the bathroom. The toilet didn't flush. The shower didn't drain in our friend's single room. The price is okay so you definitely get what you pay for. It's an okay place if you're just looking for somewhere cheap to sleep for the night and don't care about the other things. I personally would pay a little more for a cleaner hotel. Gold Spike the club itself is a cool place to hang out and grab food and drinks.

Reason why I am giving it at 2 star is just because of the location and the price. There is a backyard with games and every night they had loud music that I was able to hear in my room. The loud music wouldn’t end until 2 AM. Not even the ear plugs they provided would mute the noise. There was a weird smell once we walk into our room. We only got two sheets which it didn’t keep us warm and the sheets were all stained. It didn’t looked liked they changed the sheets because they had the same stains on them. The room felt small. And the there was no plugs, no outlet aside from one which was away from the bed. The staff was friendly, but I won’t stay here again.

Very enjoyable place, fiddlesticks is wonderful, but management is kind of a mess. One of our lamps didn't have a light bulb, one of our beds didn't have a blanket, and getting new towels was like pulling teeth. Nice rooms for the price and having a bar and outdoor area right there was awesome, but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

This place is super fun. The staff is great. It's right next to the Fremont Street Experience and it's really fairly priced. Even the drinks are cheap (for Vegas). I highly recommend it.

Really nice rooms! I believe they use to be one or two bedroom apartments in downtown Vegas. 2 min walk to Fremont Street. Experience. Nice pool… cool atmosphere and close to fun, food, and entertainment.

A Fair If you hold on to your ears and your legs. C is far from the main attractions and C is very noisy if you fall on the wrong room. The cleaning is done when you ask and over the leg. The sheets and towels leave to be desired. The pool is not heated. You really have to see this corner of Las Vegas, for its poverty, its desertitude, its lust. In short, pay attention to your account because it is without stopping problems and numbers in addition to which we do not expect.

A nice boutique hotel/hostel with trendy decorations. The stereo is super loud at midnight, could hardly get any sleep between midnight and 3am, the renovation is refreshing but quality subpar, one of the door hinges of my room is detached and the sink faucet loose. You'd get a great experience if you were here to party hard and hook up. Otherwise choose a large hotel with solid sound proof.

Good location and good breakfast. They did not clean the room enough, you have to enter through the bar to access some rooms.

Awesome room! Housekeeping and staff are very nice to the point. Good thing I am not a trouble maker. They will kick you out if you are. Lol.

Overall OK experience, only two starts because I got charge my security deposit for a metal bed frame that broke. Wasn't my fault all I did was laying on it turn over and the front legs snapped. Overall cheap place don't expect and additional features like microwave, coffee maker, or fridge. They do give you earplugs for the weekend noise it wasn't too bad if you go to bed after 3am. I will say the rooms have a weird smell not sure if it's the chemicals but it is strange. Overall OK In my personal opinion best 2 stars, probably will not be staying here again.

1. ) The worst experience! WARNING! — — >NOT A FAMILY HOTEL! I dont know how this hotel has 3 stars!? 2. ) booked a two bed and got a 1 bed! And no cost reduction. 3. ) some of my family have asthma and I was placed in a room that smells like weed! 4. ) they whole surrounding stinks really bad! 5. ) the bed was dirty. its a no no no hotel!

Tale of two days… Day one: While driving to the hotel we tried to call numerous times but the phone was never answered. We were welcomed to the Oasis with an extra nightly $22 fee, which we were not informed of when we booked the reservation. The employee's monotone and almost scripted nonchalant reaction to our questions regarding the fee gave the impression that it was a common complaint. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and the room was not clean. At night the bottom floor of the hotel was turned into an nightclub (dark room, blasting music, drunk couples making out on couches etc). Two problems were created by this, I had a 13 year old that needed to go through the club to get to the elevator to access our room and it was so loud that we didn't get any sleep. Day two: A manager had seen my 13 year old navigating the club on the previous evening and seemed very concerned with why and how we were given a room above the club. We were then moved to a different part of the hotel by a friendly employee who was personable and professional. The room we were moved into was clean and very comfortable. It's unfortunate, I loved the hipster, quirky, eclectic, trendy décor and vibe of this hotel. One good night out of two is not acceptable (nor are the surprise fees. )

This hotel is one step up from a hostel. We stayed here as a last minute decision to avoid getting to our destination after midnight. The great deal they offered isn't so great when you find out that in addition to the cost of the room, you are required to pay a $22 fee for "amenities", whether or not you use them. The room was cleanish, but the shower was obviously dirty, and there were nicks in the paint, chips in the decor and the corner of the bed had been hit many times (my poor husband's shin being among them). It was extremely loud because of the music played at Gold Spike next door. The music didn't stop until after 2am. They only have two handicapped parking spots, and only a tiny lot that they share with the surrounding businesses. There is no pull up to unload or even bell carts to bring your belongings in. The lot was full, and one of the workers from Gold Spike (I assume it's their sister business because of the name and the fact that they give out coupons for free beverages there), pointed to a spot on the street in front, telling us that you didn't have to pay to park there after a certain time, so we could park all night without worry. It is our fault that we didn't read the part of the sign that said it was a commercial zone starting at 5am, so we ended up with a $20 ticket. I only recommend staying here if you have no other options.

The bar, playground, and general atmosphere is awesome. The employees are all friendly. However if you want to stay here and sleep or be at all comfortable I wouldn’t recommend it. The bed is comfy but the a/c until is super loud. There is noise literally all night. You can hear every noise people staying around you make. I thought the term “crash pad” was just them being hip and trendy sounding, but no it really is a crash pad. Stayed one night and booked another hotel immediately after a night of restlessness.

Best dog friendly hotel in Vegas! Very reasonable rates with polite and courteous service. It’s got a casual vibe and yet the renovation on the rooms was quite nice. Is there such thing as a boutique motel? If not, I just coined the expression. ;) Our breakfast was yummy and we ate outside cuz we had our dog with us. The pool looks nice and the lobby at the gold spike is funky and fun. We will definitely be back!

This place has been amazing. We are here celebrating my mom and her friends birthdays and they have done everything to make this trip special. We got lucky and we're able to check in early and check out and they were nice enough to offer my mom and I some free breakfast and drink vouchers. They accommodated her needing to be on a low floor as well. The pool is awesome and peaceful and the playground is awesome! We will definitely be back for more. The staff are all super friendly and will take amazing care of you.

Cute place. Room seemed clean. There were crickets, but only outside, so not an issue as other reviews stated. The downside… I paid extra for a "quiet room" and was put right by the loud all night bar, with my only window facing that direction… So if you pay extra for a quiet room make sure they are actually giving you one.

We had a great time here. Dalton and Fritz bring in a positive vibe and have excellent bar tending skills. They are both able to handle a large crowd while being very personable with their guest. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great time in a comfortable environment!

The bar is nice. Great happy hour. Adult playground is really cool THAT IS IT! The gentlemen that check your ID at the door to the bar are rude and inconsiderate, the staff at the front desk do not accommodate their guests what so ever. NOT a hotel for a family with kids or for Las Vegas Nevada residents. The Oasis at Gold Spike is strictly about making $. No compassion. Have a nice day.

This is a trendy little hotel for all the youngsters between 20-30 years of age figuratively speaking. The hotel has two towers. One of the towers has a hotel feel to it (Gold Spike tower), while the other has a little bit of a motel feel to it. In between the two towers is a giant area with a dance floor and games for young adults. I found this hotel through the hotel tonight app. They were offering a room for $90 while all other hotels in the area were above $130. Since I was only looking to shower, and possibly a place to sleep, I booked a room here (last minute). Note to parents bringing kids, DONT! I saw other reviews of people complaining about the noise level. This is a party hotel people. They have pool tables, live bands, corn hole and a bunch of other games for entertainment. I got into my room a little before 4 a. M. And the place was still rocking out! When I described it to my wife, I told her it was pretty much like a Hard Rock hotel with the exception of the pool. The pool here is tiny. Based on what I can remember, I would definitely stay here if I was doing a guys weekend. It's trendy, and is within walking distance of downtown.

This hotel was more a nightclub then hotel. 1. No one cleaned my room nor the room next to mine after I asked both the cleaners and front desk to PLEASE COME. 2. There is basically no front desk. I called their front desk # for 2 hours and nobody picked up, I had to walk downstairs and tell them no-one is answering the phone and all they said was "oh okay". 3. THere's no room service like a typical hotel. 4. The "fitness center" is basically a tiny room with 1 dumbbell, 1 treadmill, and 1 yoga mat squished into 1 room. 5. It was such a pain to get into our hotel on weekends when the nightclub was packed. I had to convince the bouncer I was staying here. The Gold Spike itself is great and a fun place to be but I wouldn't stay here at the hotel again.

Maybe the coolest place I've ever stayed! The pool was very cool and had the best areas for lounging as couples or groups. I loved that the hotel was small so the pool never felt crowded and there was always clean towels. Not the best sound proofing BUT I don't think I've ever experienced such good value for the price. I won't stay anywhere else in Vegas now that I've been there!

My husband and I stayed for five days and had a great time, The pool is nice and the hotel is just a block away from Fremont Street. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant located there has great food! Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Now some things you need to know. First, make sure that you are staying in a room near the pool. They are the single bed rooms. The double bed rooms are in the Gold Spike, and the music from the night club is so loud, you won't be able to sleep. Also, there are a few homeless people located by the hotel, but security is good and you need a card to access the main door. We are 50 yrs old, so take it for what it's worth. We had a wonderful time, but would not recommend taking kids. Also, you are in Las Vegas, so get ready for the street noise and the party noise.

2nd stay in 2 months. Nice eclectic place and not a casino hotel. To be fair the noise from the pool and night club are there, but they market to that atmosphere. If you want peace and tranquility keep looking. If you want an adult party atmosphere this is a good place. The noise never bothered me and I am not a huge partner.

Nice rooms, good bar downstairs, with a good restaurant in the lobby. There's fun space, and a nice pool. I recommend it if you're not as into the gambling scene in Vegas and just want a cool hotel.

Terrible. Never staying here EVERRRRR again. They didn't offer to have anyone help us with our bags. We take our bags all the way to what was supposed to be our room. The cards they gave us didn't open our door, so we tried to use our card for another room thinking they gave us the wrong room number, which is exactly what happened. Then, when it opened the room next to ours, we let the front desk know so they wouldn't book anyone in that same room and also to inform them that they assigned us the wrong room. The lady working the front desk told us that we couldn't have that room because it wasn't assigned to us and that we have to go down to the front desk to get the key cards that were assigned to the room they assigned us or we could wait 15 minutes for them to bring us the key cards because they were "too busy" and didn't want to change the paper work for us. So we waited in the damn hallway until they brought us the keys. She brought the correct room keys for the original room we were supposed to have. As soon as I walked into THAT room, it smelled of cigarettes (Keep in mind that this whole hotel is nonsmoking). I told her that room smelled and I didn't want it. So she gave me back the room keys for the room next to the one I was originally assigned. That room did have a weird smell but not as bad as the room next door. However, every morning the room smelled of mold and I woke up with my throat hurting and my allergies acting up terribly.

I love this motel… Music was loud, but hey it's vegas baby what do you expect. Rooms are very clean and up to date. Definitely will return.

For the price and location this place was PERFECT. They allow dogs which is always nice and everything was clean and neat. Would definitely be back.

First and foremost please remember all negative reviewers THIS IS DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS USA! Music nightly? Bruises on your legs due to furniture (after night walking on Fremont Street? )? Listen up! This Staff is the most conscientious and caring in Vegas! If you're expecting "5 star" go pay $200+/night on the "Strip". Otherwise, recognize this property as a leader in revitalizing downtown Las Vegas. Perhaps if you think Vegas is 1000 count sheets and soundproof walls, go to Wynn. If you want clean, cool, urban, under $200/night, Oasis at Gold Spike is the place.

Rooms are nice and location is very good but apparently they recently decided to play music pretty loudly throughout the whole place. It's almost like trying to sleep in a nightclub. As a remedy some small earplugs are offered. Totally unacceptable, since when are hotels ment to be as noisy as possible?

I called earlier to book a room for a week and to asked about pet policy and the lady (Andrea) who answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional.

I liked nothing about this hotel… it was the worse experience ever… rooms are hell of small staff is rude this is a perry hotel not a family hotel… please becareful before booking.

Price: This place is overly expensive, you would do a lot better going to the grand next door or even the D down in Fremont. While the room rates might seem cheap at first glance, once you actually check in you will be greeted by a whole lot of useless fees. Customer service: While the individuals working security are extremely nice, the staff are completely useless. They would much rather talk to their friends than actually help you. The service is awful. Room itself: For the price you pay… The rooms are shameful. You'll do better going to a motel 6. Expect the rooms to be mediocrely cleaned. Noise: Nightly noise mostly depends on how close you are to their back yard. Expect loud music by mediocre bands from 10pm to 230am (wed-sat). Conclusion: Don't bother wasting money on this place. The grand is a whole lot nicer, the D is cheaper and nicer. Hell most places in Fremont are better than this place.

Upon check in the place looked awesome. However the staff was not very interested in communicating the amenities of the property. Once in our room the decor was beautiful however the dresser and bed frame are to large for the room causing my family and I multiple bruises on our legs. After walking on Freemont for a few hours we return to the Oasis to join the hotel funded party only to find the locals had also joined the party and had taken over. The price of drinks and food are completely outrageous for quests. So I left the party and attempted to lay on one of the pool side chairs to gaze at the stars unfortunately they close the pool at 9 PM and it's just to bad if you don't drink. I asked if maybe there was a place we could sit and enjoy the outside since our room was so tiny and was denied and left to sit on a rock. Finally the night of thumping music and screaming quests was over and we headed on our way. Fully expecting to receive our deposit with the 24 — 48 waiting period. The motel has now returned and removed the 198 5 times from my account. I recommend finding another location as this facility charges quests outrageous amounts of money simply to throw a party for the locals, the pool is freezing (takes your breath away cold) and the staff only care about talking to their friends. Worst experience ever and nothing like I expected from a Las Vegas motel. Not worth the money or injury.

Place is awesome! Staff is Amazing. BIG SHOUT OUT to Mo, one of the Security Guards for being so good to us during our stay. He helped us carry all of our bags upstairs and got us whatever we needed. Would definitely recommend this place.

The hotel was cool and really close to the Fremont experience. The club on the first floor was not bad. I stayed on the the 5th floor and heard nothing. The hotel staff was great! We had an issue with our door and it took longer than we like for it to be fixed but we were compensated for it and it wasn't really a fault of there's. The bathroom is really small so you'd have to take turns if it's more than one person. Hardwood floors so don't expect to pile people in the room who might end up on the floor.

Really cool location and great price for the value. Try the cornhole.

They did a great job with the new Gold Spike hotel, the living room and backyard are great places to chill and the carnival bar was pretty dope. The room was a good value for the price. I can't wait to party in that pool when it gets warmer.
